Da Nang Maintains 61 Safe Food Supply Chains
On June 12, a delegation from the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology, and Environment held a working session with the Da Nang People's Committee on the implementation of policies and laws regarding food safety control. During the session, city leaders stated that Da Nang is currently maintaining stable operations of 61 safe food supply chains, making a significant contribution to protecting public health.
These supply chains include products ranging from vegetables, fruits, meat, and seafood to processed foods, all strictly controlled from production to consumption. Maintaining a large number of safe chains not only meets the demand for clean food for local residents but also builds trust among visitors enjoying cuisine in Da Nang. This is one of the key factors helping the city build an image as a safe and friendly destination.
A representative of the city's People's Committee also shared about measures to strengthen inspection, supervision, and handling of food safety violations in the coming time. With close coordination among departments, agencies, and local authorities, Da Nang is determined to maintain and replicate safe supply chain models, aiming for sustainable development and improving quality of life.
