Proposal for 25,000 Billion VND Expressway Linking Nha Trang – Da Lat, Reducing Travel Time to 2 Hours

Khanh Hoa Province has just sent a proposal to the Government requesting approval for an expressway project connecting the two famous tourist cities of Nha Trang and Da Lat. The project has a total estimated investment of about 25,050 billion VND (equivalent to 952 million USD) and will be implemented under a public-private partnership (PPP) model.

Once completed, this expressway will significantly reduce travel time between the two destinations, expected to be only about 2 hours instead of the current 4-5 hours via Khanh Le Pass. This opens up great opportunities for regional tourism and economy, especially since Nha Trang and Da Lat are two leading tourist attractions in the Central and Central Highlands regions.

With more convenient transport links, travelers can easily combine a journey exploring the blue sea and golden sunshine of Nha Trang with the cool air and poetic scenery of Da Lat in a single trip. This is also good news for tourists from Da Nang and Hoi An who want to extend their itinerary to the southern provinces. The expressway is expected to be built to modern standards, contributing to socio-economic development for the entire South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions.
