Da Nang Organizes Seminar on Free Trade Zone Model: International Lessons

On the afternoon of June 13, a seminar on 'Free Trade Zone (FTZ) Development Model – International Experience and Vietnam Context' was held at KOI Resort & Residence Da Nang (Ngu Hanh Son Ward). This event was part of the series 'Investment Connection and Corporate Partnership', aimed at seeking new growth drivers for the city.

The seminar focused on analyzing successful FTZ models worldwide, drawing lessons suitable for Vietnam in general and Da Nang in particular. Experts shared experiences on building mechanisms, incentive policies, logistics infrastructure, and attracting investment for free trade zones. The event attracted a large number of business representatives, investors, and management agencies who participated and openly discussed the potential and challenges of implementing this model in Da Nang.

Da Nang is regarded as a locality with many advantages for developing a free trade zone thanks to its coastal location, deep-water seaport, and convenient transportation network. This seminar contributed to providing theoretical and practical foundations for the city to refine its plan, aiming to create an international trade center and promote sustainable local economic development.
