The Silent Workers Keeping Da Nang Clean After Every Fireworks Night

The third night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2026) has just ended with spectacular displays over the Han River. As the crowds gradually disperse, a silent force begins to emerge: environmental sanitation workers, youth union members, border guard soldiers, and volunteers. They are the ones who keep the city clean and beautiful after every festival night.

Their work begins as soon as the final fireworks fade. With carts, brooms, and trash bags, they quickly collect bottles, paper, plastic bags, and other waste left by visitors along the Han River banks and nearby streets. Not only do they clean, but they also sort the trash on-site for recycling, contributing to environmental protection.

The image of these silent workers laboring late into the night has become a unique aspect of DIFF. For visitors and locals alike, it is a testament to the sense of responsibility and love for the city among Da Nang’s people. Thanks to them, the next morning, the entire festival area is clean and ready to welcome new activities.
