Such a genuine welcome
We had some great Hoi An foods here. We had a lovely evening speaking with the owners daughter, Watermelon. We had good local food and were made to feel very welcome. A great meal and 3 beers for 20,000VND. Great value.
Amazing food and amazing people.
Me and my partner visited Hoi An for 3 nights. We were taken here by our motorbike driver. Very very good food and two of the nicest people we have met on our travels. Since being in Hoi An we have had 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners here. There tea and coffee are amazing. Try the Hoi An local favourite dish Cao Lau .. Only $30,000vnd, very filling and amazing flavour! After every meal you get fresh fruit, and sweet pastries. They are very welcoming and genuinly happy people. Wish we had places like this at home!
Family Restaurant
This is a family run restaurant (Mom and Dad cooking and Dưa Hấu (English translation "Watermelon") serving, frequented by backpackers and locals (beside Sunflower Hotel). Visited this restaurant many times for food and "fresh" beer. This local food (made for tourist tastes), in a local restaurant, served by locals. The front is open air and the traffic noise is part of the charm. Do yourself a favour and visit it.Watermelon speaks English
