The reviews are justified. I had an amazing steak with oysters and a very good glass of wine. Would come back any time ! The owner was very forthcoming and friendly !

Highly recommend this restaurant. They have new specials every day. Kind of a French/Vietnamese fusion. There’s always a vegetarian option and the chocolate mousse is mouth watering. Enjoy

The best meal we had in a month of travelling Vietnam. Run by two brothers and one of their friends. We had risotto, steak tartare and chocolate mousse. All delicious. Wish we had found this place earlier in our stay!

Wow, fantastic food & atmosphere. Met the owner and great to hear his story so far and am sure they will continue to flourish! Blaidd is a wonderful host. We would have been back tonight but the 3 person team has the Monday off. The best Negroni on this trip so far! We loved the Risotto, Wagyu and delicious chocolate mousse. We shared the dessert but said later it was so good we should have had one each😂 He suggested a couple of wines which we really enjoyed. They just do dinner at the moment but plan to change that. Cash only for payment currently.

The evening we went was a BBQ night. I ordered some ribs so did some of my friends. 2 of them chose the steaks. Let's start with the ribs . They where simply amazing. Best ribs I had in a long long time my 2 friends who took the same had the exact same reaction I had. You don't need to use a napkins. They where fingers licking good. It's basically what all 3 of us did licked our fingers until the last drop. The potatoes where very good as well. The salad tasted good. But there was no way in hell I could finish it. The rib portion was gigantic 😱 I would have needed a stomach implantation to eat anything else after finishing the ribs and potatoes. I had planned for some desert but it was impossible after all those ribs. I'll definitely have to go back to try the dessert. The 2 that had the steaks loved them as much as we did with our ribs but didn't have to lick their fingers. For entree we had the pate campagne simply the best pâte campagne we all had the pleasure of eating. The bread served with it was perfect as well. The marinaded olives where sublime. Everything was perfect. If you have the pleasure of going there to eat. Get the pate and if the ribs are on the menu. I would recommend not to eat anything that whole day in order to finish your plate without feeling like your about to explode. It was so good we could not master the restraint of stopping engulfing everything. We basically left the cleanest bones on our plate like hyenas chomping on a dead carcas . Even hyenas could not have ate the bones they would have been too full 🥴 The owners and staffs are the friendliest ever and very welcoming. We stayed a long time. No choice we had to finish all Exception of me with the salad no more room. I will definitely go there again and again. Hopefully next time I'll have room for the desert after the pate and main course. The pate is definitely a must and do not make the same mistake we did. Dont share one with an other person. Get your own pate you'll eat it all garantied the olives too. I might regret writing this review. I might have to wait in line next time I go there if so many people's try this place and enjoy it as much as we did . I'm certain this will be the outcome. Great place great owner's and staff's and fantastic food 😋 I normally would have taken photos. But I couldn't lick my fingers clean enough to touch my phone and to be honest I just couldn't stop eating 😳

This was genuinely the best meal we had in Vietnam. Place itself is unassuming, just a little place by the beach, but the food was insane. My parents were expecting a larger menu as it was pretty limited, but after tasting the food you can kinda see why - every dish was perfect, and you couldn’t get this quality in an extensive menu. Oysters were great, scallop beurre blanc was so addicting, sausage duo was great, steak cooked to perfection, and they even gave us some free anchovy butter which was delicious. Even the “cheesecake” was such an interesting dish and tasted amazing (also the only full pic of food I got as we were so hungry before). We honestly just wish there was a bigger menu so we could try more from the chef! Blaidd (one of the 3 owners) was also lovely and super accommodating. Thank you for such a lovely last night in Vietnam and we will definitely come back if we’re ever in Hoi An again!

Myself and some friends found this place by chance and the best way I can describe this restaurant is with… WOW! The food was absolutely incredible and some of the best food I’ve ever had in Vietnam or in fact most parts of the world! We had almost every starter, oysters beef Tatar, scallops, anchovy butter and the champagne pate washed down with two bottles of wine. We were all so impressed that we then followed on with the steak with foie gras sauce and fresh ravioli. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any photos of the food. However, I am extremely confident in saying you will not be disappointed if you come and eat here. I live in Da Nang and I can’t wait to go back! The service was amazing, the food is amazing and the wine list is brilliant! GO - You will not be disappointed!

Unforgettable! I ended up coming back here every night on my trip to vietnam. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and instantly welcoming, thanks in large part to Eric and Blidd, who made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The cocktails were fantastic, and the buffalo tartare genuinely blew me away — one of the standout dishes I’ve had in a long time. Something special!! must try if you’re stopping in Hoi An.

Dropped in early the other night to check it out. We were impressed. The Whisky sour was strong and not a hint of sweetness which can happen. Our meals were excellent. Highlight was probably the Country Pate. This would stand up against any of its contemporaries in France. Locally made it’s excellent. The Buffalo Tataki was also incredibly tender and tasty. Shrimp ceviche was also good. Wish the guys luck with their full opening next week.

We made a reservation at Allee Gatto for our date night dinner on Saturday, as it was our last evening before flying home the next day. It turned out to be a preview night of their menu, which we weren’t aware of but found interesting. The place has a cool speakeasy vibe, and the atmosphere was truly lovely and perfect for a special evening out. However, there were a few hiccups during our visit: - There was no menu provided, so we had no idea what was being served from the amuse-bouche through to dessert. We're not sure if menus were unavailable that night or if we simply weren’t given one, but it did leave us feeling a bit in the dark about the experience. - The restaurant was very hectic and clearly busy, and it showed in the service pacing, there were delays of 40 minutes to an hour between courses. It seemed they were short-staffed, which is understandable for a new business, but it did affect the overall flow of the meal. That said, the food was truly amazing. Huge kudos to the chef, who appeared to be running a one-man show, prepping and serving for the whole restaurant and yet still managing to deliver dishes that were well-executed and full of flavor. That alone made the experience memorable. We’re excited to see how this place evolves. With a few improvements in communication and staffing, it could easily become a must-visit dining spot.

Allee Gatto is an incredible spot, easily one of the best bars I’ve been to in Vietnam. The atmosphere is just amazing: warm mood lighting, beautifully designed interior, and a cozy, welcoming vibe. You can tell a lot of love went into creating this space. The owners are such lovely young guys, super friendly, genuine, and passionate about what they do. The food? Absolutely delicious. It’s tapas-style, but every dish is satisfying and beautifully plated. You can tell there’s a great chef in the kitchen who actually cares about the quality and presentation. Their cocktail selection is fantastic, with something for every taste, and everything is fairly priced. They also have an incredible wine menu and a curated wine cart, offering some of the best-priced glasses of wine you’ll find in Hoi An, seriously good value for the quality. It’s also right by the beach, so it’s the perfect place to head to after a swim or sunset walk, grab a great drink, enjoy some bites, and just relax. Highly recommend this place. Great vibe, great people, great food. I’ll definitely be back!

Sophisticated food, well-balanced drinks, matched only by superb service! A very understated place for such quality food and drinks - the finesse is rare in Hoi An. The owners went above and beyond - the complimentary drinks were amazing. My only slight complaint about the bread was met with a delicious dessert made from that very same bread!

A unique and unmissable tapas restaurant and bar just a stone's throw away from An Bang Beach. Relaxing ambience, tasteful decor, fantastic food, and delightful drinks makes this one of my favourite places in Hoi An whether it's to dine with friends, or simply hang out at the bar and socialise with the friendly, welcoming staff and patrons.

What a surprise to find this pop up gourmet experience. Limited menu, but everything was very tasty. Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable. And the relaxed atmosphere, made for a great meal for our first night in Angbang.

I came to this place after a friend recommened to me. I tried the buffalo tataki. That was something else😍 Since then i came back 2 more times to eat the same. 100% worth it to try! The stuff is also really friendly and helpful. Looking forward to see all the people there again!

Lovely place in a great location. The owners are super cool and friendly. Very diverse drinks menu and the food is amazing. I tried the Saigon sour cocktail and the margarita and they were perfect. Topped it off with a few Sapporo beers. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Thanks guys!

Stumbled across this place last night on a walk. Lovely Tapas dishes full of flavour. Friendly people and a lovely atmosphere. We shared the Buffalo Tatake and the Pate, both delicious.

Amazing tapas and service! Hoi An has been missing a spot like this and it was so needed. We came in without high expectations, just curious to try something new since it recently opened. But wow!! Everything was so fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Nothing felt overdone, just simple and spot-on. The guys really knows their stuff and made us feel super welcome. Must-tries: the Buffalo Tataki, Passionate Mahihi, and the Feta Gazpacho (we could’ve easily ordered each of them five times or more😂). Also one of the very few places here with great music (finally, something other than US-UK pop hits). Highly recommend and we’ll 100% be back. Merci and see you soon!

If you’re in Hoi An, a visit to Allée Gato is an absolute must.The experience is nothing short of exceptional—from the sumptuous food to the relaxed, fun atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. Every single dish we tried was top quality and absolutely delicious. The grilled clams in a rich, addictive white wine sauce were unforgettable, and the grilled squid paired with perfectly cooked asparagus was spot on. The anchovy butter elevated my whole butter experience. Where has this been my whole life? The pâté was as good as any we’ve had in Europe, and the beef picanha quite literally melted in the mouth. We couldn’t resist adding the foie gras, which turned out to be pure perfection. What really stood out was the seasoning—every dish was balanced flawlessly, with no need to add a thing. That level of precision is rare. Living in Bangkok, we’re fortunate to have access to incredible food, but we honestly didn’t expect to find this level of fine dining in Hoi An. Allée Gato is a true hidden gem. The energy of the place is something special, driven by the passion of the three partners behind it. A big shoutout to Blaidd, Eric, and Chef Cuphi for creating something truly remarkable—this is clearly a labor of love and a huge success. Bravo! We’re already looking forward to coming back.

If you are in Hoi An, and want a slice of heaven when dining, you absolutely need to eat at Allée Gatto. Vietnamese food is fantastic, but after six weeks I was looking for something different. If you like French cuisine you are in for a treat; the food is outstanding! You cannot cook steak or foie gras more perfectly than they did in this kitchen. A rotating menu with new dishes every night and a superior wine list to complement the food. The staff is especially attentive, friendly, and makes all their customers feel at home. Their pricing simply cannot be beat either. One of my best meals in Asia.

Belle découverte pour ce restaurant tenu par de jeunes franco vietnamiens. La terrine de campagne et la mousse au chocolat maison dégustées le 1er soir (car pas très faim😏) étaient tellement bonnes que nous y sommes retournés le lendemain pour un vrai repas de "squids à la provencale- asperges et pois" accompagnés d'une bonne baguette😉. Aucune déception... Les prix sont un peu plus chers qu'ailleurs dans le coin mais c'est justifié. N'hésitez pas à venir faire un tour dans cet établissement, vous y serez bien accueillis!

Having lived in Hoi An for over five years, I'm always on the lookout for new restaurants. Last night, two couples and I went to Allée Gatto for the first time. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the three young partners (two brothers and a friend) have created a joyful and successful ambiance, both in the restaurant itself and on the plate. Their blend of cultures is reflected in their rich and original cuisine. For my starter, I enjoyed a duck breast salad with a very creative vinaigrette. The main course was duck breast with garlic potatoes, a dish typical of Southwestern French cuisine. A promising restaurant to watch. I wouldn't be surprised to hear more about them very soon and see this young chef make a name for himself.

Super restaurant, viande vraiment très bonne tout comme le vin. Nous nous sommes tous régalés. Le service est également au top et nous avons apprécié les petites attentions :) ils sont très attentifs ! Nous reviendrons lors de notre prochain passage dans le coin.

Excellent experience. The pâté and foie gras starters were outstanding, both in quality and generosity, with very good bread. The mains were super comforting, ideal for winter dining. Excellent by-the-glass wine too for this price point.

Endroit familiale, décontracté et cozy et avec une cuisine délicieuse. J'ai mangé un soir en famille et on s'est tout simplement régalé. Les patrons sont très accueillants et sympathiques. Leur tartare de boeuf ainsi que leur buffalo Rossini est tout simplement délicieux. Un endroit incontournable a Hoi an pour passer un super repas et moment.

À chaque visite chez Allée Gatto, c’est le même plaisir. Les patrons sont adorables, l’équipe est au top et on y mange toujours super bien. Le BBQ est une vraie tuerie. L’ambiance est cool, chaleureuse, exactement ce qu’on aime à An Bang. Un bar à ne pas rater !

We had such a wonderful evening at Allée Gatto! ✨ We tried the prawn ceviche and the pâté tapas – both were absolutely delicious – and paired them with different wines, which made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is so cozy and romantic: a quiet street close to the beach in An Bang, perfect for a relaxing night. The hosts are just amazing, and you can really feel their passion in everything they do. An absolute must-visit!

Une expérience absolument parfaite du début à la fin ! Dès l’accueil, on se sent chaleureusement pris en charge, avec un service attentionné, souriant et professionnel. Le rapport qualité-prix est tout simplement exceptionnel : des plats savoureux, généreux, réalisés avec des produits frais et une vraie maîtrise en cuisine. Very nice brand new cocktail bar & restaurant! The den den cocktail, buffalo tataki, mahi mahi and pathé were our favourite! Feels like casual fine dining. Very good prices too for the high quality. There was live music too. Would come back!
