I had a wonderful experience at this French restaurant. The atmosphere is elegant and cozy, creating a perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The dishes are beautifully presented and full of authentic French flavors. Every bite was delicious, and you can really tell that high-quality ingredients are used. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and professional. They made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. The service was quick but never rushed, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, this is an excellent restaurant with outstanding food and service. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves French cuisine. Definitely a 5-star experience!

We visited the restaurant for my friend’s birthday and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is great, the escargot is rich and flavorful, the ribeye steak is juicy, and the French onion soup is comforting and authentic. I booked this restaurant prior to my arrival in Da Nang, but the experience was quite disappointing. Frankly, the food was average, with some dishes falling below that standard. The onion soup wasn’t the genuine French onion soup; it was merely onions and water with a bit of cheese, and the onions weren’t caramelized properly. The vegetables in the main dishes were far from fresh; for instance, the radish was hollow inside! I’m puzzled as to why they would serve such poor-quality ingredients. Additionally, when I requested water, I was informed that they do not offer free water and that I would have to purchase bottled water. The staff claimed that the tap water isn’t drinkable in this area, which is why they don’t want customers to risk getting sick. However, in every other restaurant I've visited in Da Nang—whether fine dining or bistro—free water has been offered, except for this one. We paid over 3,200,000 VND for five people. I’ve visited several other French restaurants in the past few days, many of which were not only better but also cheaper. I genuinely don’t understand how this restaurant has received such high ratings.

Great restaurant. Really enjoyed our meals. The only reason it's not a 5 on food is my wife ordered the steak fries medium rare and it was blue, still tasty though. I had the beef bourguignon and it was fantastic. The cheesecake was phenomenal!!!

The food was horrible. I've lived in 9 countries and have visited top French restaurants throughout the world, I don't think I've ever tasted such bad French cuisine. The salmon I had smelled bad, was half cooked, and the "onion soup" just actually tasted like onions and water boiled together. They couldn't eve get proper cheese, and tasted like they got some cheap bulk cheese. Worst $70 spent at a restaurant in the past 5 years. I'm actually really surprised how high the review is, it goes to show you can never trust reviews on Google. If you do not believe me, give the place a try, but don't say I didn't warn you. I would not eat the food here if it was given to me for free, literally.

Vill man ha fransk känsla i Da Nang eller Hoi An, då man går på restaurang, måste man besöka dessa ställen Maten är genuinskt fransk. Man skulle lika gärna kunna befinna sig på Montmartre som i Sydostasien. Maten är himmelsk men priserna och betjäningen är betydligt bättre.

We came to try the Christmas menu, and it was a great experience. The menu was well thought out, festive without being too heavy, and nicely presented. Dishes felt special and seasonal, with good balance and quality ingredients. A lovely place to enjoy a Christmas meal in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

We came to Le Petit Bistro for dinner with our family and made a pre-order in advance — a couple of starters, four different main dishes, desserts, and drinks. And honestly, when food is good, it’s just good. The dishes are not complicated, but they are prepared with care and soul, and that makes all the difference. The service was excellent. It was especially lovely that the owner came out to talk with the guests — this creates a very warm, home-like atmosphere and makes you feel truly welcome. The music is soft and unobtrusive, so you can comfortably talk and enjoy the evening. It was also very comfortable for us to be there with a small child. After almost two weeks in Da Nang, this was our best dinner so far. We would happily come back

Lovely little place with nice decoration and good service. Mains were average though. Steak was difficult to chew and the beef bourgninon was very tough - perhaps we came on an off day. Mash and fries were good. Wine was good.

La Petite Bistro is a cozy, hidden gem tucked down a small alley, which gives it a unique charm. The ambience is warm and intimate—perfect for special occasions. We went for our anniversary and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The food was fantastic from start to finish. Our appetizers, tuna sashimi and French onion soup, were fresh and flavorful. For mains, my wife ordered the duck confit while I tried the daily special: a medium-rare Wagyu ribeye. It was easily one of the best steaks I’ve had anywhere in Asia. Fair prices, attentive staff, and an overall great experience.

Experience was pleasant enough, the waitress was cool. I ordered my steak medium-well and it arrived medium rare. I ate the "properly" cooked parts and sent it back to get the rest cooked medium-well like I asked and it basically came back the same as before, medium rare. The chef is presumably offended at being asked to "destroy a perfectly good piece of meat" or whatever, but if I'm paying for a steak then I expect to get it the way I ask. Especially the second time. The actual steak was good quality. My date had bourguignon, which was a bit acidic but good. Atmosphere was okay, wine was good, but I'm not going to be back based on the kitchen's apparent attitude. Edit: Interesting combination of Confucian gibberish responses to negative reviews and buying lots of positive ones. Bravo!

Adorable little restaurant on a small and quiet sidestreet in My An. Perfect for an intimate dinner or a get together amongst friends. If you're looking for good quality French food without being too fancy then I highly recommend this place!

We had bruschetta, mushroom and chicken risotto and steak frites and they were all amazing! The bruschetta was flavourful, chicken was so tender, and steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned.

Best meal in Danang serving French bistro fare. We had the Aberdeen Angus 300g ribeye (amazing!), duck a l’orange, mushroom risotto and a variety of starters such as the French onion soup, caprese salad, seasonal foie gras toast, duck croquettes. Seriously, one of the more memorable Western meals and in particular, steaks, that I’ve had across my travels throughout Asia and Europe. Desserts were alright, nothing to shout about. The wait staff were helpful and spoke good English. The restaurant manager and the chef were also friendly. Fun fact: the manager is a Scotsman who confirmed that the steak was not from Scotland itself but is a verified Aberdeen Angus beef imported from either Brazil or Australia. And to mention it for the nth time, the steak was the highlight of our meal. The chef was a young English gentleman… the irony! But wonderful cooking and he did the ingredients and I hope the French proud 😅

After dinner at Le Petit Bistro in Hoi An, we decide that we are going to eat at the restaurant in Danang. When we entered the street, we thought this looks like a hidden spot. And it truly is; we were lucky to eat there without a reservation. The food was great, and so was the wine. We had fish and meat, both of which were excellent. It is a small restaurant and feels really cozy.

The food was world-class, delivering the finest French bistro-style dining I’ve experienced anywhere, with a quality-to-price ratio that’s truly remarkable. Every dish was prepared with precision and passion, making each bite unforgettable. We even had the pleasure of a lovely chat with the main chef and part-owner, who was an absolute delight and made the experience feel even more personal. It wasn’t just a meal, it became one of the defining moments of our Vietnam trip. This is the kind of place that could sit proudly in any city in the world, among any cuisine, and still be a serious contender for the best.

Our first visit was genuinely lovely. We tried the vongole pasta, French onion soup, and the chocolate fondant. For Vietnam, the food quality was truly impressive. I especially want to highlight the dessert — I lived and studied in Paris for four years, and I can honestly say that this chocolate fondant was one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfect texture, rich flavor, beautifully done. Unfortunately, our next visit completely ruined the impression. We came without a reservation, were seated at a table, placed our order, and began eating. And then, in the middle of the meal, we were asked to leave, because apparently the table had been reserved and the guests were “about to arrive.” Yes, they apologized. But being asked to leave while eating is simply unacceptable, and it left us feeling extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. I didn’t even order the fondant again — and that says a lot. Because in this situation, it’s not the guest’s fault — it’s the restaurant’s mistake. It’s a shame. What started as a great experience ended with a lasting sense of disappointment.

Was even able to speak to the chef (Callum Williams-White) who shared his dream - bring good authentic French food with good portions at affordable prices. Chef...you have hit the mark! The positives first: The place looks nice on the inside and the starters (tuna tataki, ceviche) and sides (dauphinoise, beans and rocket salad) were all nice and tasty. Staff is friendly and nice. The bad: All the three mains were awful. We had the Fusilli Napoletana and two Steak Frites. The Fusilli were cooked well but absolutely bland. The whole dish had little to no flavour to it. The Steak Frites were the worst we’ve ever had anywhere. The Frites were beyond soggy and as a result had no crisp to them. No salt either. Worst chips (fries) ever. The steaks were ordered medium and came out medium rare to blue so we sent them back. Not sure what cut the “house cut” is but it is the toughest cut available I suppose. Extremely chewy even when medium rare. Sending them back to the kitchen did not help. As a side note the bread was sent out without butter and the salt/pepper grinders on the tables are awful as well. The table next to us had the whole thing fall apart on them. The same table also had steak frites and agreed it was awful. For the money the place needs to do a lot better given they charge a premium.

We had high expectations of this place and whilst the food was ok, the atmosphere was horrible. I mean, you go to this place to have a nice dinner with your partner but cant even hear your own thoughts as there was a family of 6 sitting behind us and shouting(cant even say that they were apeaking loudly) at one a other for 40 minutes. The staff said nothing to them and the other guests were also just looking at that family. We wanted dessert but couldn't stay any longer...we were rushing to finish the food. The duck lacked seasoning and was chewy. Will sadly not come again.

10/10 on every level. We would highly recommend Le Petit Bistro. The customer service and food were both phenomenal. We encountered a particularly stormy day and were struggling to get a Grab from our hotel and the owner was beyond kind enough to pick us up so our experience started off on an exceptional high. However that was just the beginning of our great experience because every dish we tried was equally fantastic. Full of flavor and very tasty. The staff were all kind and attentive. Don’t miss out on this gem while in Da Nang.

Lovely small traditional French Bistro, top value My wife and I booked late and tried this small French bistro down a back lane. Its a short trip from the main hotels on the beach, but harder to find (so get your directions/bearings early, before you set off). It was fully booked on Thurs evening (last night). We each had entree and main, and a half carafe of wine. Value was excellent, portion size is generous, and the food very authentic traditional French bistro. Staff are discrete and attentive, its a lovely place for a couple to go for dinner if you are craving this type of food. Recommend. Hamish.

Overall we had a great meal here - a few of the dishes were truly excellent, including the clams and the duck confit (latter being one of the best we’ve had outside Paris). The risotto was good and generous, albeit a tad gummy, but perhaps our fault since it sat for a bit before we tried it. The only slight disappointment was the steak frites: where the beef was a little gamey, but probably just a limitation of the local availability. Service was very friendly, and it was a pleasure meeting and talking with Peter, the co-owner. To state it bluntly, definitely a great overall experience and we hope to visit again when in Da Nang.

This has quickly become our favorite spot for date night or a special occasion. The chef is very talented and we’ve never been disappointed by the food. The ambiance makes you feel as though you’re in an intimate and cozy cafe in Europe. It is very affordable, and the service is always so kind and attentive. They also allow corkage for $200K if you have a favorite bottle of wine you’d like to enjoy with your meal, and offer nightly specials in addition to the regular menu. I walk by this place almost everyday and my mouth is always watering! Highly recommend for a lovely evening out in Da Nang.

We decided to have dinner at Le Petit Bistro based on reviews and after looking at the menu. The restaurant and experience were amongst the best we've had in Vietnam. The authentically French food, ambience and staff were outstanding. We enjoyed talking to Peter who co-owns the restaurant with his wife. The chef also came and talked to us after we'd finished our meal. It was nice of them to take time to talk to us and we had nothing but positive feedback from them. As noted in other reviews, there are many high end French restaurants in Danang that charge near US prices. Peter noted that the restaurant is only a little over a month old and they want to build a customer base so are committed to providing the highest quality food, generous portions, at competitive prices. The meal we had last night would have cost three to four times what we would have paid in the US and we had superior service. Try this restaurant before everyone else figures it out!

This isn’t a place you just walk into; it’s a place you plan for. And trust me, it’s worth it. An absolute must-visit for lovers of fine French cuisine.

This was the best meal I had in Da Nang. Staff was so kind and attentive. The chef is such a nice guy, he came out and chatted with me. I had the duck croquettes (sooo good), steak and frites (cooked perfectly medium) and the chocolate lava cake with ice cream (perfection!). Everything I had was amazing. I feel like this maybe one of those rare places where everything on the menu is good. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Da Nang.

Wife and I went there for Tuesday 1/2 price pasta. It was excellent, gourmet. That cost us about 6 USD each with the discount, worth it. The next table had the beef tips... Looked awesome, but these gourmet places are too expensive for my budget, will go split a dish soon, and get one of the cream broullete, Which also looked great. A bit above my budget but for sure 5 star food.

Fabulous dining experience at Le Petit bistro Danang. Lovely atmosphere, staff were attentive and offers a great wine list. For entree we shared the tempura prawns, pate & croquettes. For mains the duck, lamb shanks and Mahi Mahi. All was flavoursome & delicious. Will be back soon.

First time dining here and it will not be the last. Went here on Tuscan Tuesday. Had a lovely Spaghetti Vongole paired with a lovely wine. Clams delicious and the spaghetti had a nice bite to it. Was also so tempted by a neighbour table that had Pate de Champagne that I had to order that for "dessert". Super delicious. Forgot to take the photo before I started, so unfortunately it had to be of a half eaten one. Looking forward to the next visit. It is adviced to book a table. It is a small restaurant. Update: Came the next Tuesday with some friends and it was still very delicious.

I don‘t know where to start with the compliments because it was one of my best dinner experiences here in Vietnam but probably all over the world. Simply everything from the start till the end was amazing. Super delicious food & such a friendly staff. I felt for a short moment sitting in a Bistro in Paris. The chef really knows fine dining and the menu is excellent with good quality choices, so I was happy to try something new and something I’d previously had. The produce is well chosen and the attention to detail is super. The chef really is an asset to this place and we shall definitely return again in the future. First visit review: Absolutely stunning. This lovely bistro is intimate and quiet in a small street off the main strip in tourist street. You could be anywhere in the world as you walk in you are greeted to French music and a beautifully crafted fresco on the wall which makes it look even more spacious. We met the chef at lunch on his way to the market and booked a table - it was busy so glad we did. So much lovely choice on the menu it was tough. Highlights - the ceviche and tuna tartare, steak tartare and crème brûlée. We have booked a table again next week! Wonderful!

Le Petite Bistro is such a great little spot in Da Nang. The atmosphere is cozy but still high-end making it perfect for a causal meal or a date night. The food was amazing—the chicken & mushroom risotto and onion soup were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The prices were totally worth it for the quality, and their 3-course meal deal is a great bonus! Highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again!

Beautifully decorated interior with paintings. French onion soup brought out the natural sweetness of the onions. But I personally felt that the vongole in cream sauce didn’t go well together.

Such a Must visit restaurant in Da Nang. We’re impressed of its beautiful atmosphere, all the arts are so beautiful. Generally it’s very hard to find a good french restaurants in Vietnam with a reasonable price, but Le Petit Bistro Hoi An is one of the best I’ve ever been and so genuine unpretentious. Escargot, Pulpo Salad, Boeuf Bourguignon, Steak Frites , Lamb shank were all excellent. Also the wine list are great and various.

The lamb shank dish is a good portion however the sauce didn't seem to soak into the meat, making it dry to the taste. The Coq au Vin has similar dryness. The owner tried to explain how it was cooked but the end product is what was counted. I had Coq au Vin in US and France and they were much more tender and savory. The mashed potatoes are just plainly plain and heavy, not soft and tasty. I thought I would give french cuisine in Da Nang a try but somewhat disappointed.

I really enjoyed my 1st visit to this relatively new French Bistro. Had French onion soup, beef bourginon, and red wine. Great service, cozy atmosphere, and delicious. I'm sitting down for my 2nd visit as I write this review. Ordering the braised Wagyu shortrib w foie gras, brocolini, parsnip pure which sounds fabulous. This is a daily special which may not always be on the menu.

当日予約すると店内は満席で外の席に案内されました。 通りを入った場所にあるので静かでした。 食事は家庭料理といったところ。 （特別美味しい！と感じるメニューを頼んでいないのかもしれませんが） お店の方の対応はすごく良かったです^_^

Mình biết đến quán bởi một người bạn Pháp, bạn ấy tìm kiếm trên mạng và cũng đến đây lần đầu như tôi. Quán nằm trong con hẻm nhỏ (nếu để ý mới thấy được pa nô trước hẻm), không gian nhỏ nhưng ấm cúng cùng chút trang trí khiến mình gợi nhớ đến những quán xá nơi những góc nhỏ ở Pháp. Nhân viên phục vụ tận tình, vui vẻ đặc biệt là chị quản lý (hoặc có thể là chủ) đã tư vấn mình về độ chín của steak. Đồ ăn ở đây cũng ổn, steak cắt sẵn rất tiện, thịt mềm, mình ăn ở mức chín vừa mà thịt không hề dai. Cảm nhận mình thấy quán ok , các bạn có thể thử nhé !

Hôm mình ăn là gần cuối năm nên khá đông, mọi người nên đặt bàn trước nếu có đi vào ngày cận lễ - đồ ăn ở mức ổn, không có gì nổi bật lắm. Mình order bò hầm, gà và ốc sên pesto. So so - bạn nữ phục vụ rất dễ thương và nhiệt tình - vì mình ngồi ngoài nên sẽ bị ảnh hưởng bởi âm thanh ở các quán lân cận cùng mùi hôi ở ngoài. Overall: 7/10

Réserver pour le soir de la saint Valentin ! On a passé un très bon repas. C’était très bon. Je recommande les desserts et le steak tartare qui était excellent j’ai été vraiment surpris. Juste déçu que les escargots n’aient pas été plus cuit… mais c’était quand même sympathique d’en manger à 10 000km de la France. Merci pour cette soirée. Compter 1m de dong pour un repas complet avec du vin pour 1 personne.

Dès notre arrivée, l’accueil a été chaleureux. Le décor est élégant, confortable et très dans l’esprit d’un bistrot français. Nous avons été accueillis par le propriétaire, un Écossais installé au Vietnam depuis de nombreuses années, ce qui ajoute une touche conviviale et intéressante à l’expérience. Nous avons tous les deux choisi le steak-frites, accompagné d’une bouteille de vin rouge italien. Tout était parfait : • cuisson du steak exactement comme demandée, • frites excellentes, • service impeccable, attentionné et professionnel de la part de toute l’équipe. Une très belle adresse à Đà Nẵng pour ceux qui recherchent une cuisine française de qualité à un prix tout à fait raisonnable. 👉 Nous recommandons vivement Le Petit Bistrot.

We’ve never had a dinner in Da Nang as delicious as here. Moreover, having lived and traveled in many different countries, I can honestly say that food this good is rare to find, whether you’re in Montreal, Madrid, Prague, or Mauritius. We tried the Mahi-Mahi ceviche, Yellow-fin tuna tataki, Braised New Zealand lamb shank, and Steak tartare, finishing with Crème Brûlée and Chocolate fondant for dessert. I’m now absolutely obsessed with their tartare, it’s simply perfect and one of the best I’ve ever had. The lamb shank was equally outstanding. The starters and desserts were also exceptional, flawless in every way. We’ll definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu. If you’re in Da Nang, dining here is an absolute must!

J ai pas compris … propre , service gentille , mais les mets ne sont pas du tout avis hauteur … escargots nageant sacs un bain de beurre , sans goût , sans ail , je ne suis pas certain du tout qu’ils soient de bourgogne comme préciser sur la carte . Pâte de campagne … deux bouches m ont convaincu d arrêter et le lettre de cote . Poissons assez bien fait mais manque de sauce … trop sec . Bonne purée , le sauvignon blanc était bon , mais pas assez pour que nous y revenions . Dommage !

We ordered the chargrilled Aberdeen Angus ribeye steak, braised New Zealand lamb shank, and crème brûlée. The ribeye steak was exceptional—cooked to perfection with a flavor that was just right, and the portion was generous enough to satisfy two people. As a girl, I found myself full after just half of it! The steak was expertly trimmed and prepared, leaving no chewy tendons behind. It was juicy and tender, truly a delight. The lamb shank was also outstanding, with rich flavors that complemented the meat beautifully, making every bite a pleasure. The fries and smashed potatoes were equally delicious. The crème brûlée is a must-try at this restaurant. The caramelized sugar topping is thicker than usual, which makes the dessert utterly irresistible. Its creamy and thick texture is simply divine. The staff provided excellent service, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Overall, the prices were reasonable for the quality offered.

Quaint lil restaurant, big on flavour. Had the bruschetta, yellow fin tuna, duck croquette, Ribeye steak; creme brûlée was beautiful and the chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream brought a sweet ending to the night. A lovely time!

Le Petit Bistro in Da Nang City is a really charming hidden Gem that is hidden away in a cozy little small alleyway in a bustling part of town. A bit hard to find but definitely worth the extra effort and will reward you with a relaxed and great meal. I have the pan seared Foie Gras with brioche and it was very good, prepared just right. Next I went for the Clams Marinière in white wine butter herb sauce…THEY WERE AMAZING!!! This one took me back to France for sure! So rich and creamy, flavor and presentation was spot on, so much that I decided to have a second plate of them!!! Yum yum! The service was fantastic, very friendly and very quick. They taught me some more Vietnamese words and served me like a king. The owner was very kind and friendly. I dined outside on their little patio and will definitely be returning, price was really nice as well!! Thank you! They book up so make sure to make a reservation and thank me later!

Nhưng mình ăn được 1 nửa không ăn nổi nữa vì pate vị đắng (mình không ăn được đồ đắng), nhưng mình không biết vì đây là lần đầu mình ăn món này, nghĩ là nó như vậy. Sau đó mình có hỏi nhân viên là món pate lúc đầu có vị đắng, không biết là do món nó đắng như vậy hay là do vấn đề khác. Chị nhân viên nói để hỏi lại bếp, thế nhưng mình ngồi chờ thêm cỡ 10p nhưng vẫn không thấy ai trả lời mình vấn đề này. Sau mình đi về có hỏi 1 bạn người Pháp thì bạn ấy nói món này không đắng, do khâu sơ chế làm bị dính mật rồi. Thật sự chuyện này để lại ấn tượng không tốt với mình, vì mình cũng dễ tính, ít ra mình muốn nghe 1 lời giải thích, chứ không phải là sự im lặng.

Amazing! Hidden gem amongst the glittering lights of the famous Da Nang beer street. The food was a true reflection of French with a twist. Delicious and highly enjoyable. If you want your tastebuds to be spoilt, come here, try it and enjoy it! Oh and I just couldn’t resist & took a bite of that crème brûlée before taking a photo!

Wow, wow, wow! I didn’t know they had such a great restaurant like this in Da Nang. They are fairly new to Da Nang. They also have a restaurant in Hỏi An. It’s a small quaint restaurant, beautifully decorated, good service and excellent food. I had the French onion soup and Char grilled Aberdeen Angus beef burger. The French onion soup was excellent, and the burger was to die for. My wife had the Confit Duck Leg. It was delicious. For dessert we had Crème Brûlée it was delicious. We all agreed we are definitely coming back. I’m sorry, the only reason I gave service. A four star was because when the main courses were finished the empty dishes remained on the table for a very long time.
