Bei unserem Besuch in diesem Restaurant waren wir mit dem Essen leider nicht zufrieden. Eine der bestellten Pizzen war mit Thunfisch belegt, dessen Geruch und Geschmack aus unserer Sicht Zweifel an der Frische aufkommen ließ. Zudem war der Pizzateig recht fest und entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen. Da diese Pizza für mein Kind bestimmt war, haben wir das Personal mehrfach auf unsere Bedenken hinsichtlich der Frische des Thunfischs hingewiesen. Uns wurde jedoch versichert, dass die Zutaten frisch seien und kein Problem vorliege. Aus Sorge um die Gesundheit meines Kindes haben wir die Pizza nicht gegessen und vollständig zurückgehen lassen. Darüber hinaus haben wir während unseres Aufenthalts eine sehr große Kakerlake im Restaurant bemerkt. Das Insekt flog zeitweise durch den Gastraum, bevor es schließlich von einem Mitarbeiter mit einem Flip-Flop getötet wurde. Dieser Vorfall hat bei uns einen besonders negativen Eindruck hinsichtlich der Hygiene hinterlassen. Positiv hervorzuheben ist das Personal, das freundlich und verständnisvoll reagierte. Die beanstandete Pizza wurde schließlich nicht berechnet. Trotz des freundlichen Umgangs mit unserer Beschwerde überwiegen für uns die negativen Erfahrungen deutlich. Aufgrund der geschilderten Vorfälle würden wir dieses Restaurant nicht erneut besuchen und können es leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

This place is absolute fire! 🫶🏻 Chicken Rice is 100% BEST I EVER HAD TRAVELING 17 Years! Owner and staff are sweethearts and super cool! Highly recommend!
Service was pushy but still friendly. Toilets were clean. Happy hour is every day, whole day. We were lured in with the cocktails which besides the tiny Appletini are not so good. We ordered quite a lot of dishes. But the duck w lemongrass and chili vs shrimp w/ tamarind sauce tasted the same? Duck was also chewy. The hoi a style fish was way too salty and the noodles on it melted together in a clump. Half of all the plates were decorated with raw cabbage 🥬 Good stop for a quick toilet break and appletini tho 🍏

Worst fried rice that I've had in Asia, tasteless, beef impossible to chew, seemed to be one of the mixes you find in a refrigerated bag. Also, they have an announcement that I’ve seen after I ordered: 5% will be applied to your bill due to open during Tet (lunar week-annual holiday). Having an open schedule during Tet, in a very touristic area, is an option. You can choose to close the restaurant and enjoy the holidays, as some owners did, or to keep it open, as plenty of other locations did with no extra fee. But of course, in this case, you have no profit during this week and you can afford to lose money, which is perfectly understandable. For my rice and 3 bears were nothing, for you, it's about trying to “rip” some extra money from tourists, and it does not honor you. Nice staff.
The Hoi A Chicken rice is a must-try! Hands down the best meal I’ve had in a long time and it was even better with the chilli sauce. Their happy hour is great value too. Definitely must go.
Was looking for local food & this restaurant stood out among the bars & western food joints. This restaurant served western food as well. We had Beef pho, Quang Nam noodles, grilled prawns with BBQ sauce , passionfruit juice and fresh coconut. The beef broth was good, Quang Nam noodles not too bad. The grilled prawns were fresh and the BBQ sauce was so flavourful. Service was quick and the staff were friendly.
Nhi was amazing, she was so lovely and attentive a truly lovely waitress and took very good care of us. We had good (strong!) drinks here and the service was perfect. I highly recommend this place for drinks and good fun! Everyone we met here was so nice to us and we felt happy to spend time with them. We left feeling like we made friends 😊 we will come back again and again xxx thank you!!xx
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Golden Rice in Hoi An is a must-try! The food was very good, full of flavor and well prepared. The service was prompt and friendly, making the experience even better. We also enjoyed a great Buy 1 Get 1 Free offer, which was a nice bonus. There was a small mistake on the bill, but it was immediately noticed by the supervisor, Gon, and corrected right away — very professional. Overall, everything was excellent. Highly recommended when visiting Hoi An!
We got a beer here for a chil out. 44p each. Unbelievable value. Menu looks great. Nice place to stop. Recommend!

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is so chilled. We came for lunch one day and dinner the next day. Highly recommend the rice pancakes, steamed fish Hoi An style and grilled fish in Banana Leaf. The staff are so nice and are great at recommending dishes to order. Must try!
You can smell cigarettes from the smokers outside, but food was great especially the vietnamese pancake and grilled prawn

The cao lau was excellent. The staff is friendly and really try for guests to enjoy themselves. Especially Hong, she is very sweet and speaks excellent English. We had a very nice conversation. Beer was only 15k VND during lunch until 5pm. Hard to say no to that. I enjoyed my visit and will be back again.
Thanks to the golden location (nearby the Thu Bon river), I always feel cool and comfortable; and although I waited longer, the quality of drinks from this restaurant really satisfied me.

The tall server STEALED OUR MONEY BY SUBSTITUTING ONE OF OUR BANKNOTES at the payment. !!! In addition, the dishes were tasteless: it was the worse meal of our stay in Vietnam. We paid the bill with 200.000 banknotes. The tall server took our money and on the way to the counter, substituted one of the 200.000 banknote with a 50.000 banknote and then claimed we made a mistake. The problem for him was that we didn't have 50.000 banknotes in our wallet, only 200.000 ..! The soups (pho and mi quang) were tasteless, the chicken rice was hard and dry and the crispy noodles was infect.. It's a shame for Vietnamese cuisine. !!!!

Normally I don’t leave bad reviews, but I ordered the club sandwich last night and got sick. Spent a lot of time on the toilet. Don’t know what was bad, but the culprit is usually the mayonnaise.

Must-try Vietnamese food spot! We had a great time enjoying authentic Vietnamese cuisine here. I tried the rice pancake and Cao Lau noodles—both were incredibly tasty and reasonably priced. Nhi was very helpful, spoke good English, and recommended the best dishes. The food, drinks, and warm hospitality made it a memorable experience!
Me and the mrs came to Hoi An and found golden rice along the main strip of restaurants and bars. There are many bars and places to eat, but if you want quality fresh food that hits the spot, then you MUST VISIT golden rice. Don’t walk past this gem and not stop in for some top quality food. Golden rice is our favourite restaurant in Hoi An I recommend everyone try the Com Ga (chicken rice) Cau Lao (pork noodle soup) and the Cha Gio (spring rolls) the best food I’ve had on this trip
We returned here after a year and were instantly recognized by the team. They have a buy one get one free for cocktails happy hour and lots of food options. Highly recommend. The bonus, it's just outside the super busy touristy area of Hoi An.
What an amazing find , everything about Golden Rice is amazing, the food, the drinks, the price and not to mention the lovely helpful staff and family that own this restaurant , nothing is too much for them. Given the location and all the restaurants trying to drag you in , this is a gem of a find amongst the chaos on the riverfront. We were lucky enough to stop in for lunch, dinner or just drinks on the way back to our hotel at least 6 or so times during or 10 day stay. Highly recommend.
A bit of a let down compared with the reviews we had read. The food was ‘fine’ but devoid of much flavour at all. Service was great- friendly helpful staff - but not enough to compensate for the lack of excitement for the tastebuds.
My husband and I came here for dinner. It was just a random selection of restaurant. The food was really amazing, we ordered chicken fried rice and grilled fish with turmeric sauce . Both were absolutely delicious. The staffs were very friendly and attended to us very well. It was a pleasant surprise to receive a free beer. They also serve a decent margarita! Don’t miss their happy hour as well!

Staf ramah Resto oke Makanan nggak enak. Hambar. Mahal. Pho kecil dan hambar. Tumis sayur biasa aja. Broken rice dan ayam juga sangat biasa.
I live in Hoi An, and I love this place, they do not over charge , even though it's in a tourist area, which is so amazing and rare. You get great food and drinks for the local price and it amazing and I appreciate it so much.
Had a lovely meal here on our first night in Hoi An and enjoyed the experience very much. Unfortunately the card machine had a glitch and was charged three time BUT the manager sorted it straight away and money was returned promptly .. thank you I know the banks were at fault with the time it took to return it and I wish I was still there so I could return in person to thank you and eat again at your restaurant.

Honestly the best restaurant facing the river. The place is quiet, the food is great and the prices are pretty reasonable compared to the nearby restaurants. The staff are competent with English and are very attentive. Drinks are also fairly priced. Good selection of Vietnamese and Western food, and decent air con inside.
Came in on the promise of freezing cold beer - and they did not disappoint. Beer was ice cold and presented with cold glass. Food was delicious and very well priced. Served with a collection of condiments. Service what great banter and our waiter Sau delivered a high level of service to ensure our night was enjoyable. Can not wait to return!
Good food excellent quality, staff friendly and attentive, service spot on. Beers cold!. Eaten here for the last 2 days, Western and Asian all great, good for us as it's not as noisy as some of the bars/ restaurant around. But what sold it for us was the friendly staff nothing was too much trouble for them and the restaurant is very very clean. Food also comes out hot! We will be back! Highly recommend trying this restaurant you will not be disappointed.
An excellent and inexpensive alternative to a lot of higher-priced restaurants in the area. The hostess is absolutely charming, very friendly, remembered us each night (we went back 3 times), and by the third night gave us each a welcoming hug. You couldn't ask for a nicer person. Down to earth Vietnamese food which was exactly what we wanted after walking around all day.
Been there for vacations yesterday. Place is nice, food is great, price is good too for the amount of dish you can get. Staff was really kind and gave us explanations when needed. Even our 2 years old appreciated the food ! I'd gladly Recommend.
We came here for drinks, it happened to be happy hour when we came, good prices for 2 for 1 cocktails. Also have cheap local beer and cider. Staff really attentive and professional. Just down the road from the famous Hoi An river / bridge and i definitely recommend a visit
4 of us dropped by while walking along the canal. Service was immediate and personable. Happy hour was 2 large beer for the price of one, 35000! All meals were excellent and came quickly and inexpensively! Good english spoken, recommendations easily made for each of us. Very recommended especially in a competitive environment.
I was here alone as my hubby is sick and was looked after so well by the staff. The food was lovely and I had an enjoyable evening.
Beautiful riverside restaurant. My service from Sau was excellent, he was very friendly and the food came quickly. The food itself was gorgeous, I had a local Hoi A dish, pork with noodles, and then chicken wings. I would strongly recommend this place.
Can't really understand the good reviews. The food was okay, a bit bland and almost as if they'd forgotten to add any spices. So far the most boring food we've had in Vietnam. Same for the service: okay, but a bit cold and pushy, unlike like the open-hearted and welcoming treatment we've received so far in Vietnam. All in all, cannot recommend. There are better places in the area for a similar or even lower price.
Six of us sat outside to enjoy several different appetizers, mains and Happy Hour drinks! Service and food were excellent!!!! Staff kindly pointed the fans in our direction.
The staff was so wonderful and the beers are cheap! Beauty view of the water to pair with your beer. We didn’t have any food, but I’m sure it would’ve been amazing. Also they played Pitbull which is always a plus
Such an awesome restaurant with so many choices of the best food in HoiAn. We had a group of 30 pax and not a problem to be seated straight away and served very quickly.. we will definitely be back and recommend GOLDEN RICE RESTAURANT to you visiting HoiAn.
Great little restaurant over looking the river from the old town. Food is amazing and so is the service, do not go past without trying the food. We have been coming to Hoi A for over 10 years and found this little place by chance. Wished we had known about it previously, keep up the great service and excellent food.❤️

Food was not that exciting and the staff was a bit too pushy but friendly. I'm just a bit disappointed, cause every street food for 1/4 of the price was way better. I suggest to look for Streetfood corners rather than this touristical place.
Lunch was ok... however, they only service one person at a time. So after one people ate the next plate would arrive. I was the 4th person in our group, and everyone had eaten and was really to leave before my simple soup arrived. Also, it was a little expensive for vietnam.

In Hoi An for a month (August 2024) and came across this gem which became a regular for cold beers and peanuts. Staff are amazing, friendly and like to have fun with customers. The owner organized for me to have a meal of snails and pork chop with broken rice, both of which were amazing. Can't rate this restaurant high enough and will definitely be back when in Hoi An. Thank you crew.
Friendly people good atmosphere, loud at night time but that’s hardly their fault
We have been in Hoian for 2 weeks and have been to the Golden Rice many times. We have had exceptional service from all the staff, and being a riverfront location it is just far enough away from the madness that ensues in the Old Town at night time. If you want excellent Cocktails (their pina colada is THE best I've had in Vietnam!), the best Fresh beer and a fun vibe. This is your place. Their menus has lots of options from local Vietnamese food to Western food too. Highly recommend!!
We came here just for drinks to soak up the last of the sun in the evening, staff were so nice and polite. Prices much cheaper than just up the road but lovely atmosphere and chilled music

We have been twice now for drinks and last night for dinner the ban xao (crispy pancake) cheesy garlic bread, broken rice, pork chop and caramel flan were all really good. The service is excellent we will definitely visit again thank you to everyone. 😊

nhà hàng nằm đối diện sông nên vừa ăn vừa thưởng thức phong cảnh rất tuyệt, tuy nhà hàng nhỏ nhưng lại vô cùng ấm cúng, mấy bạn pv vô cùng dễ thương và dễ mến nhé, đồ ăn thì khỏi phải bàn và đặt biệt mình rất thích món Cao lầu 😛 có đi hội an thì nên ghé qua thưởng thức nhé

lần đầu tôi đến hội an du lịch tôi đã ghé nhà hàng gạo vàng và thử món ăn đặc sản hội an, ở đây có đầy đủ món ăn. Tôi đã thử chúng, món ăn rất ngon, đậm đà hương vị. Còn nhân viên thì hoà đồng nhiệt tình hỏi hang tôi rất nhiều. Tôi rất thích, khi nào đến hội an lại tôi sẽ ghé quán này.
Trải nghiệm tuyệt vời với bạn bè hoặc người thân và gia đình, địa điểm mình luôn bỏ trong list nên tới khi có dịp đến Hội An và cũng hay recommend cho mọi người chọn quán này.

Abbiamo cenato una volta. Abbiamo preso solo un piatto a testa ma è stato sufficiente a saziarci. Molto buono ed economico nonostante sia nella zona molto turistica.
Đồ ăn ra quá lâu. Chúng tôi đã chờ 45 phút để ăn. Không 1 ai nói điều này từ đầu. Điều này có thể ổn với bất kể 1 nền ẩm thực nào chứ không phải Việt Nam. Đồ ăn thậm chí còn tệ hơn nữa. Mì quảng không hề chuẩn vị. Cơm gà hội an lại chẳng giống cơm gà hội an. Thật là 1 trải nghiệm quá tệ
Gia đình chúng tôi có 4 người trong lúc đi du lịch tại hội an đã có ghé đến nhà hàng gạo vàng để nghỉ ngơi và ăn trưa , không gian thoáng mát , thưởng thức đồ ăn của nhà hàng rất là ngon , đội hình nhân viên phục vụ chu đáo và gia đình tôi rất hài lòng về cách chăm sóc khách hàng của nhà hàng này .

Hãy đến và trải nghiệm các món ăn ở đây các bạn ơi. Giá đình mình đã đến 3 lần và trải nghiệm những món khác nhau giữa Việt và Âu đều rất là tuyệt vời. 10 điểm cho thức ăn và nhân viên phục vụ.
Mì quảng rất tệ. Đó là canh bánh đa bị khô nước, nhạt nhẽo và thiếu rất nhiều thứ để tạo nên món mì Quảng đúng nghĩa
Tôi đã tình cờ tìm ra được một nơi nấu ăn hợp với khảu vị. Nhân viên thân thiện nhà hàng có thể ngắm sông hoài về đêm rất đẹp
Ko nói gì thêm một nơi trãi nghiệm tuyệt vời đồ ăn ngon đồ uống tuyệt view rất đẹp nhân viên phục vụ tuyệt vời.

Personnel fort sympathique Coktail plutôt bon (+happy hour) Et, surtout, la nourriture! J'ai mangé un plat du coin (rice & chicken, j'ai oublié le nom) et des Fried springroll au pork (EXCEPTIONNELS). Gros kiff gustatif

Repas très très moyen. Banh xeo très gras, pizza potables, ça se mange mais le plaisir n'y est pas. Le porc barbecue... C'est pas cuit au barbecue mais sauce bbq. Bref repas très très moyen. Service au top par contre Passez votre chemin il y a sûrement d'autres resto meilleurs dans le coin.
Super service, très bonne bouffe. Nous avons été servi par Lang. Parle bien anglais. Belle expérience 💙

Nhà mình đi Hội An hàng năm mỗi khi hè đến. Đồ ăn ở quán tạm ăn đỡ, cơm chiên hải sản cơm nấu hơi bị nhão nên chiên không được ngon, thố cơm ít cơm, giá 149k/thố cơm (tầm 1 chén cơm người Việt của mình). mì nấu tạm được. ít, Giá cả thì theo menu. Nhà mình ngồi ăn bị mất điện 3 lần. Không gian quán rộng rãi, đẹp
Trong tất cả các món ăn tôi đã thử ở rất nhiều nhà hàng ở Hội An . Tôi rất ấn tượng với món cá hồi áp chảo này. Phải nói là rất tuyệt những món ăn kèm rât chi là ngon. Tôi đã xem tất cả các món nấu theo kiểu âu, hay á đều rất là ok. Gia đình chúng tôi có gọi thêm một số món đặt sản của hội an. Rất là ok vị đậm đà. Còn nhân viên thì thân thiện cocktail rất ngon bia thì giá rất rẻ. Chúng tôi sẽ quay lại vào một ngày gần nhất.
Đồ ăn ở đây thật tuyệt vời. Bia rất lạnh và không gian rất thoáng nhìn thấy sông và phố đị bộ . Rất khuyến khích mọi người đến đây. I am happy and enjoy .
