Most authentic tacos I’ve had outside Mexico. Really great. Would Come back here in a heartbeat!
I went to this restaurant three years ago at dinnertime and it was great, so imagine my surprise when we went here for lunch and the tacos were not great. We tried 6 different tacos on the menu and only two (tacos al pastor and carnitas) were good. There was a real lack of depth in flavour and the chicken was dry and stringy. The guacamole was nice but the tortilla chips were quite oily. The fried fish was mostly batter and we found ourselves having to add lots of chile sauce, pickles, and jalapeños to have any flavour at all in the tacos. It may be because we went at lunchtime and they were maybe serving leftovers from the day before. Either way, maybe stick to dinnertime if you do go and avoid going at lunchtime. Each single tacos did come with two tortillas and enough filling to fill them both so that part was good at least.
We only stopped here for the novelty of getting tacos, hopeful but not expectant for it to be really good as far as authentic Mexican food goes. We were absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and even the drinks. Lots of small menu items that you wouldn’t even expect to see in a Vietnamese/mexican restaurant such as agua fresca, agua de Jamaica, homemade totopos, taquitos and many more. The quality of the ingredients used speaks for itself when you try the food which has been prepared expertly and very true to its culture. Prices are also very very reasonable for the portion sizes you receive and the service is incredibly friendly and also very professional. Could not recommend to come here any more even if you aren’t a fan of Mexican cuisine let this be a decider for you and I’m sure it will change your mind.
DELCIOUSSSS!! I’ve had plenty of Mexican food and this might be up there for some top Mexican I’ve had. Definitely in Vietnam, #1. I highly recommend.
We were walking around Old Hanoi when we came across this restaurant. As Mexicans, finding a Mexican restaurant so far from home is always intriguing, so we decided to take a look at the menu. To our surprise, we found dishes and taco variations that aren’t common that far from Mexico, so we had to give it a try. What a delightful surprise! The food was delicious and a very close representation of the flavors from home. Our highlights were definitely the tortillas — they are tremendous! And the Baja fish taco was absolutely spot on. The atmosphere was another highlight: it felt like a small, pleasantly isolated Latin corner in the middle of Hanoi, warm and welcoming, with great music that truly completed the experience. It was a wonderful find during our trip to Vietnam!

I've lived in Vietnam for 15 years both as a vegan and as a someone who grew up eating amazing Mexican food in southern California. Masa Taqueria has by far the best vegan Mexican cuisine to be found in Vietnam. They have so many different options, all perfect. Half the menu is vegan or can be made so. Also, they have one vegan gelato, the Jamaican one! So glad they are here in Hoi An.
Never thought I would have the best Mexican food ever in Vietnam but I did. The food was sooo good even my Mexican friend loved it. We tried all the tacos and they all were amazing with high quality. This is a must try restaurant

Walking around Hoian Old quarter and my buddies and I were looking for foor and came across this taco spot. Being latin, i was a little worried about tacos here. Well it did not disappoint. The young lady serving us ( Hao i think ) was amazing. kept up with our humour , recommended food and drinks and it was on point. Guac and Pico was fantastic, carnitas, carne asada and taquitos were on fire. The 3 of us had to order more. The margaritas were on point. we were lucky and got the single table outside so we can people watch and enjoy the night. Thank you Masa Taqueria for the food and specially the service, you guys were amazing. Next time i come to hoian i will be stopping by with more friends.
The food was really delicious here. We had Micheladas and Tamarind Margaritas which were great! The tacos (all the meat ones) were well cooked and flavourful. We tried the prickly pear taco which was a nice surprise. The Vietnamese chocolate ice cream was the best thing I have ever tasted. 10/10 recommend
Maybe not the most obvious choice when exploring Vietnamese culinary culture but it was such a good one. Vegan and veggie options. Everything was gorgeous. Vegan taquitos were amazing. Guac was delightful. Salsa was piquant. If I lived here, I might eat here every day.
Good vegetarian and vegan tacos with fresh made corn tortillas. Very authentic, we were surprised to find this place in Vietnam. There's a sister bar above that also has fantastic cocktails and vibes- not very touristy.
Absolutely love this restaurant. We were after a slight change after a long holiday in Vietnam so headed here. The prawn taco was immaculate and the Tabasco beer cocktail (I know!) was amazing

A Flavor Explosion in Every Bite Masa Taqueria is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic, fresh Mexican flavors. While you order at the counter before being seated, the limited menu is a testament to their commitment to quality – everything's made to order and super fresh. I opted for the pork tacos with grilled pineapple. The subtle spice was nicely balanced by the sweet and tangy pineapple, complementing the tender pork. Mindy chose the carne asada tacos and asked for them to be not spicy, which seemed to be simply sans sauce rather than a unique flavor profile, lacking the savory depth of mine. The taco portion is admittedly small (two petite soft tacos), so if you're famished, be sure to order a few. And don't miss the refreshing cucumber juice – it's the perfect antidote to any lingering spicy heat. In short, Masa Taqueria delivers an explosion of flavor in every bite (well at least mine, sorry Mindy :( Just be prepared to order a bit more if you're looking for a hearty meal.
Great food, fresh ingredients, recommend you try this place out when in Hoi an ☺️ There are tables upstairs and downstairs, staff are really friendly, and reasonably priced.
Lovely fresh mexican food. We had several small dishes all of which were really nice. After eating you must try the really nice and cosy cocktail bar above tbe restaurnet called Mezcal Cocteleria. It is a bit of a secret bar as you would not know it there. Access via the narrow dark stairs on the right of restaurent that look as if they go nowhere special, but once up and through the door it is special
The food was good and the service was great. I took on the spicy challenge on top and the team was really nice about it. The totopos were really good!
Great food and price; tried everything except for fish dishes (because I don't like fish) and never had a bad experience. Great service; interested in me learning Vietnamese and helping me improve my pronounciation. First time I came here was two years ago on holiday and it hasn't changed since. Definitely will stop by everytime I am in Hoi An. Highly recommended if you are looking for some good mexican food and drinks.

Surprisingly legit Mexican style tacos, although I'd love to see them add a carnitas option because the pork in this part of the world is really excellent. Staff are really friendly and the margaritas were excellent too.

Great find with interesting dishes and drinks we have never tried before. The portions are more tapas sized, but priced accordingly. Try the tomato and beer drink, as it was really nice.
Do not understand the good reviews. We had taquitos which were the only hot item. These were tasty. We had 4 different tacos but left concerned we may get food poisoning as they were only partially heated. The food seems to be pre prepared and microwaved or else heated by some fast food method. The tacos were tepid and as a result not good to eat. My advice is avoid, there is so much good food around Hoi An. Don’t waste your money or time.

All the tacos I had had great flavor, but they weren’t well taken care of. For example, the fish taco had way too much batter, it was like double the size of the fish. The mayo tasted good, though. The asada had great flavor too, but it was way too salty, like someone dropped half a bottle of salt on it. The barbacoa also had good flavor but was a bit too dry. The chicken taco was definitely on the overly dry, overcooked side, which was kind of sad. But we love their mezcal bar upstairs. We’ve been there a few times and will definitely come back. The salsa selection on the table is awesome. I really hope they pay more attention to the food because all the tacos have great flavor, they just need more care. Also, I have to mention: the staff is super nice, and it’s a cool spot. Even if you don’t eat downstairs, you have to go up and treat yourself to a cocktail, the upstairs bar is beautiful.
Sat outside last evening. Greeted by very welcoming staff. Sat and had some Margaritas which were VERY GOOD and very authentic. Few flavours to choose from Tacos and entrees were good. Very happy with out waitress she was very lovely and very helpful
Amazing mexican food! Tacos and taquitos were very tasty, they have a lot of veggie options and many sauces and toppings including some of the spiciest pepper sauces. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend when looking for a quick bite.
It’s a fantastic & authentic Mexican Restaurant in beautiful Hoi An! We started off the evening with margaritas. Then we had tortillas chips, guacamole, Baja Fish & Al Pastor tacos. We finished off our meal with churros & chocolate dipping sauce. Everything from beginning to end was DELICIOUS! The Baja fish tacos were the star followed by the margaritas 😁. I highly recommend this restaurant for its food, decor, service and fair prices.
I visited this Mexican//Spanish Restaurant near the downtown area of Hoi An. Its a cute place and service was good and fast I think. Friendly staff and food was good (not 100% like Spain or Mexico) but good enough to enjoy a nice meal. I really enjoyed the drinks, I tried many and glad I was safely walking back to my hotel, but they got me a car and to take me back to my hotel, it was nice.....but to get a perfect score, it would have been super nice to have Spanish or Mexican music with singers.... hehe.... in my dreams
I have lived in Mexico for three years have been looking for good mexican food ever since. I would have never thought that the first authentic tacos I eat would be in Vietnam, but this restaurant has exceeded all my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff super friendly, I loved the atmosphere with the Mexican music too. Highly recommend and a must do in Hoi An!
The food is great, little bit pricey and even though it kinda lack spices but each table come with continental Mexican sauce in a bottle. The service was nice and always checking in on the food, if it suit my pallet. I am little disappointed with the churros though, idk if they are like this all the time because this is my first time but the dish was soggy on the inside like uncooked, the chocolate sauce is like brown water with a hint of Cacao. I’ll comeback again to update, fix or confirm this review sometime.
Where to begin? I have been here several occasions and after trying another Mexican restaurant yesterday I will definitely be coming back here... The staff is personable, and a accommodate the guest to the utmost professionalism... I come here at least once or twice or three times a week for the fish taco.The margaritas are authentic and remind me of being on the coast of Ensenada, Mexico staring at the sunset over the ocean... There is outdoor seating and there is also indoor seating with air conditioning and it just makes the dining experience a lot more comfortable. I love this restaurant mainly because I grew up next to Mexico and their presentation is very close to Mexican food which is very difficult to find in Vietnam. Considering how difficult it can be, most of the time I have good Mexican food is when I prepare it myself which can take hours. Massa taqueria is the only restaurant that makes me want to go out for Mexican food and always happy that I do. I have never been displeased with any dish I've tried here. Considering I grew up 20 minutes away from Mexico... Being in asia, it's very difficult to find authentic Mexican food and this place is as close as I've ever found in the last 7 years. I highly recommend this place.
Walking past this Mexican restaurant on the way to the old town, as we just wanted something different, after eating Vietnamese foods the last 2 weeks. Initially, we are not sure because the restaurant is quiet. However, we were so glad we made that decision after we tried the food. We had Taquitos chicken, Baja fish, Cane Asada and Pollo con Mole Negro. The food is amazing and great service by the waiter who have piercing under his lips
Average taste, very nice service!! We came in at around 21h20, right at the closing time but the restaurant still served. We order 1 Carne Asada, 1 Frijoles Negros and 1 Totopos, all came out pretty fast. The taste is just above average. But the service is good, staffs are nice
The service was great, but the portion sizes were very small. The menu said each taco came with two tortillas which was quite deceptive as it gave us the impression there would be 2 tacos per serving but there was only one taco. The fish taco was amazing. We also tried 4 different margaritas and they were all brilliant too, especially the mango one. My partner also has a severe peanut allergy, they were really helpful with catering to this and recommending dishes. We found it strange that they didn’t offer any deals/ special offers on “taco Tuesday”. Overall a nice meal out, but very expensive.
Perfect place to hide from the sun when you need a quick break from walking around the old town. The ceviche portion is surprisingly big, filled to the brim with fresh prawn and mahi mahi plus a generous side of chips. The bestseller fish taco is popular for a reason.
Tacos were delicious but the margarita was weak and not worth the price. I feel the tortillas should’ve been grilled just a bit longer, but enjoyed that they had in-house pickled items. Would definitely revisit to try their other items on the menu!
We had guacamole chips and ceviche to start, both delish. We then had the baja fish taco and the cactus taco (nopales). The fish taco was HUGE! So we didn’t need anything else after that. Margs are also delish. Ambiance is cool, staff are great. No relevant pics apart from the dog painting, what can you do 🤷🏼♀️
i am from chile. and with my boyfriend, and we have been traveling around southern asia for a few weeks, and this si the best place that have been for mexican food. tast the same like mexico. the services, the place, the food and the drinks was not good, was aweasome, definetlly you most eat here
I got 2 portions of softshell tacos (frijoles negros), which came with an extra tortilla each to fill. They were super delicious, especially with the selection of salsas. The agua de Jamaica hibiscus tea is also a must-try, I fell in love with it! The staff were super lovely, and I'd recommend this place to anyone. You can tell that the owner really loves mexican culture and cuisine, and that shines through in the flavours.

The most authentic mexican food I've had in vietnam! The tortillas were so soft. I got the carne asada and Baja fish tacos. They were so good!! Also the service was really good. I will definitely come again!
We travelled to Hoi An and wanted to try something different. Found this Mexican restaurant and went to try for dinner. It did not disappoint at all. The food was amazing and full of flavours. The spice was on point. They had good variety of tacos in the menu, they even cater to vegans and tasted just as good. Their drinks were also good & refreshing. And the churros - tasted so fresh! Highly recommend and will definitely visit again if I ever go back to Hoi An!
Excellent Mexican food! Everything we ordered would delicious I would recommend it all.. Fish Tacos, Pork Tacos, Chicken Taquitos (Add Valentina!) and Chips and Guac! Pineapple Marg was also excellent. I would love to go back and try the rest of the menu. The servers are also very sweet. Thank you!

The food here was so incredible and authentic. We tried most things on the menu and had to return the next day to try more of the delicious food. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for something a bit different when in Hoi An. It was also very affordable, exceeding our expectations.

We ate here twice on our trip it was so good! Honestly it’s a nice break from the sauced-up Vietnamese food. The tacos have so much flavor and I don’t think they are small like other reviews say, in fact I found them quite filling! You must try the Pollo con Mole…best mole sauce I’ve ever had! Great for gluten-free eaters; they make all their corn tortillas in-house, you can watch them making them right there!! They also have a dairy free cheese option made from almonds!

Best tacos and Mexican food in the town. We tried tacos almost everywhere but Masa is the best one. A very comfortable sitting area. The staff are very polite and helpful. Location is the best. They have some tasty craft beers and the cocktails are also very decent. I highly recommend it if you have a craving for Mexican food. A really delicious food 🤤🤤 nice music and cozy atmosphere. We love it.
We went to Masa Taqueria on the recommendation of a food writer, who said it was excellent and authentic. There was almost no one there when we arrived, which we thought was unusual given the writer's rave review. Everything was pleasant enough, but the food (the reason we were there) was disappointing. Service was ok. Atmosphere was quite underwhelming. We did have cocktails at Mescal upstairs beforehand, which was brilliant. Excellent cocktails, excellent atmosphere and very welcoming and engaging staff. We were initially of the impression the 2 venues were connected, but that's not the case. I would definitely go back to Mercal. Terrific choice of cocktails.

We spent a fabulous evening here for my daughter's birthday. The vegan options are decent, prices are fair (although the tacos are tiny so expect 2-3 per person) and there is both a range of spicy sauces and the option to remove spice entirely. They were super accommodating for our happy birthday song and the outside sourced cake and even gave a free ice cream. Was also nice to be in a proper indoor building/restaurant during what was our very wet week in the area where we often felt damp! Only slight suggestion is that the toilet is very leaky in the rain!

The food here is wonderful! We had the fish, the black bean and the beef tacos, all of which were wonderful, the definite standout was the fish tacos though. We also had nachos with guacamole, which was amazing. The tacos are on the smaller side though, so be mindful of this when wondering how much to order.
I’m American and I’ve been living in Thailand for the last month for college. I’ve been missing some food from home for awhile and Mexican food has always been super accessible in my hometown. Hands down one of the best fish tacos I have ever had. Literally so delicious! Service is was incredible and the staff was super friendly and understanding.
Needed a quick bite, got tired of Vietnamese food after 7 days of it… saw this and went for it! So glad we did. The owner took a vacation to puerto Vallarta and fell in love with it and lived there for years! She came back and opened this restaurant and we’re glad she did. We got the chips and guac, cucumber agua Fresca, mole tacos, everything was spot on as California tacos.
We initially tried another Mexican restaurant close by but they didn't open for another hour, so we decided to go here. I'm glad it worked out this way because this place is fantastic! Very flavorful authentic-tasting Mexican food. It's a little on the pricey side but that's a relative term in Vietnam, the cost is still very reasonable. Great food, you won't be disappointed!
We absolutely loved this place! We were craving Mexican and an easy Google search, led us to Masa Taqueria! The service was friendly and the pricing was very reasonable. The Vietnamese sure know how to cook great Mexican food! They also had heaps of toppings, such as pickled onions, jalapenos and chilli’s and as well as a selection of hot sauces on each table. We were very impressed and left feeling very happy and full!!
We had a great dinner here. My husband had the tacos, and I had taquitos, both vegetarian options. The chips and salsa were very good, excellent salsa. Sorry for the limited pictures, we were so excited to find good Mexican food in Vietnam that we gobbled it up before I remembered to take pictures!
Absolutely fantastic. We have travelled around Asia for 4.5 months and this is the best Mexican food we have had. The staff are very friendly, attentive and kind. We ordered the black bean, chicken and Birria beef. All were tasty and fresh. I would say a little expensive but only because we are backpackers. I understand it is a new place and of course Mexican food will be more expensive than local options! I think the guacamole & chips were a little overpriced for the portion. But 5* nonetheless as it was a great cosy spot and we would love to go back!!!!
Fresh & tasty Mexican in a fun atmosphere. Everything we tried was scrumptious. Loved the tamarind margarita! Didn’t try the mezcal bar upstairs. It’s a seperate business but sounds like a good pairing for another day.
Like seriously fabulous tacos, and I've had my share of great tacos in Mexico and California. The fish tacos are huge and fresh, we also tried the vegan pollo (chicken), black bean, and mushroom tacos — all very good but the fish taco is the winner. Very happy they offer vegan and pescatarian options. Restaurant is super clean and there's great music playing — it actually feels Mexican in here. As we were eating we said there's no way the owner of this places isn't from Mexico, so we asked...and yep we were correct.
Beautiful little restaurant in the downtown area, and a great taste of mexican cuisine in Vietnam. The smell of fresh tortillas welcomes you as soon as you step in, and you can sit back and enjoy a good meal while listening to Latino music. The staff are very attentive and kind, which helps the already welcoming environment. I greatly recommend the mole negro and quesabirria tacos! Hope to come back again soon.
I supposedly caught them on a bad night. They had been busy and were running around frantically, and were out of many of their dishes. But none of that bothered me, and I'm going to put that completely aside. This review is based strictly on their food, and sDly, it was one of the worst Mexican meals I've ever eaten. Tortillas they are using are from a supplier who uses a strange mix of corn, for and rice. When fried, they are passable as some kind of exotic tortilla with a too-firm crunch (like they might break your teeth if you're not careful).But unfried, like in Masa's soft tacos, they are disgusting, like eating some kind of raw dough. I was actually relieved when the server came over and said they couldn't completely fill our order. Also, the guacamole was thick, dry and tasteless. But the worst part was the Margarita, which was served half full and weak. Not all bad, tho. What we did like.... the fried fish fillet in the Baja taco, the tabletop sauces and jalapeños, the hand washing station and the fact that they accept credit cards without adding any additional fee. I genuinely hope they can fix their food, most importantly by sourcing better tortillas, and improve the restaurant overall. Hoi An needs a good Mexican joint. I wish them the best of luck.
Best tacos I’ve had outside of the Mexican shops in NYC, San Antonio, and San Diego! So so good! We will definitely be back! The bar upstairs is also great!
Can we say Que Rico in Vietnam!!?? This is the most authentic flavored Mexican food that I've has in Asia. The mole taco, taquito, amd fish taco were all 10/10 ill be back for vegan fare this week. If youre needing break this one will be worth the time.
Het eten is hier echt fantastisch! De echte Mexicaanse smaak en genoeg opties om heerlijk te kunnen eten. Ik vond de aangeraden portiegrootte van 3 taco's wat weinig, maar ik denk dat ik als westerling gewoon een wat grotere eter ben dan de locals. Zeker een aanrader om hier wat te eten!
I came here because of the reviews on Google maps, I'm glad I tried it for myself. The chicken Taquitos were very tasty, water was free, I was a solo diner and had the place to myself for a short while. There was Latin music on and the staff were friendly however when I started to eat I felt like 3 of them were just standing behind the bar staring at me when I looked up I made eye contact with one and smiled but I felt awkward. A few others came in, the menu is just on the wall and you have to order and pay there and then so it isn't a relaxed feeling and you sort of feel under pressure a bit.

Best real Mexican food outside of Mexico! Fish tacos were great, Al Pastor was to die for. There is a Mezcal bar upstairs from the restaurant (stairs to the right side of the restaurant entrance). Some of the reviews confuse the bar with this restaurant, however they are 2 separate businesses. Both are worth a visit!
Really enjoyed our meal at Masa Taqueria. We tired many of the tacos, chips and guacamole, and margaritas. Everything was very good and fresh. The tacos were very authentic and similar to tacos I’ve had in the US and Mexico. Definitely recommend!
If you need a break from Vietnamese food then this place should definitely be on the list. The food was good, not the best tacos I’ve ever had but they were tasty, probably some of the best you’ll get in Vietnam. There was plenty of pork and mahi mahi in both tacos. The guac and salsa were a little watery BUT they both tasted amazing. Baja fish taco was the highlight. Would have been nicer if the meat on the Al pastor taco was a bit more charred as that taco was a bit wet and caused the tortilla to break. The food took a little while to come but we were given some tortillas for free which was nice! The margarita and Michelada were excellent. Prices were as expected for western food with imported ingredients. Would prefer to pay for my food after rather than paying when ordering at the till but that’s a personal preference. If it had of been table service we probably would have ordered another drink if asked but the service was very good, the waitress was friendly and brought over water without having to ask. Would happily eat here again and would recommend.
My wife and I enjoyed the tacos last night. Small but filling. Actually not small…same size as in Mexico…Everything was delicious! It’s a nice break after eating Vietnamese food every day.
Usually we can never find good Mexican food outside of the US or Mexico. This restaurant was so good, a very pleasant surprise! Had the chips and pico (chips could be just a little crispier), fish taco and margaritas. Delicious! We have 4 more days here and will definitely return!
Such a great find, I no joke went back twice in one night! Soft tacos and guacamole are so fresh and delicious. Staff are very friendly and they have an amazing cocktail selection but you’ll have to ask where the secret spot is to get that menu! Have fun!
First time trying the tacos here. I had the beef tacos and they remind me of the tacos I had in Mexico. Tasty and the meat was tender, they were probably marinated, that’s unusual in Vietnam but they did a great job at Masa! I also ordered a black bean taco and that was good too. Tacos are small but filling. Love that there were a lot of hot sauces. Most Mexican restaurants I’ve eaten at in Asia do not offer any choice in hot sauces, some have no hot sauce at all, Ot Tabasco which I don’t like. I was impressed with the food! The only thing missing was cheese, but I think that’s more like Southwestern USA food, not Mexico.
In short: lovely staff, nice location but tacos meat and guacamole could be better seasoned. Cheap so worth a try to make your own judgement keeping this short out of respect for a new place just trying their best…. Everyone’s tastes are different 🙃
The margaritas were excellent! The fish tacos were delicious. The staff was very friendly and professional. We missed the taste of home so we stopped
I have been travelling for a month now around Asia and this was honestly the best food I have eaten. I will definitely be back here tomorrow. So refreshing, made in front of you and the quality of the meat is amazing
The food here was so good, we went back the next day for more. Each taco was flavorful and unique, I couldn’t pick a favorite. Would highly recommend if you are in Hoi An.
Completely WOWed me. I’m traveling from the US and miss Mexican food- I had low expectations but was completely blown away. This is ACTUAL Mexican food. So delicious. Absolutely worth trying out. 10/10 would recommend. Also the staff (and owner) are all so incredibly kind and helpful. I will be back!!!
Tasty soft corn tacos. Three of us had 3 tacos of various creations and all were good. We love the all-kinds-of- sauce options. Free cold water It seems underrated to me at 4.6
Miss Wu and the staff here are lovely, outstanding! The fish they use is mahi mahi it's so good! I kept coming back for the fish tacos and cerviche. The drinks are tasty and very well priced. I'm really gonna miss this place.. Gap ban nam sau 👃

Wicked good taco. Fish tacos are a 10 out of 10 on the Asian scale. Probably really high for anywhere honestly. Staff is extremely friendly.
Great tacos. Super authentic and tasty tortillas. It may seem weird to get tacos in Vietnam, but if that's what you're craving, it's a solid choice.
Just a new restaurant and we got there late the staff were so accomadating, clean tidy fantastic staff and great food. The meals and drinks are well priced with a good Mexican atmosphere, absolutely worth a visit.

The vibe in the restaurant is pretty cool with lots of neat wall art. The food was fine, definitely not bad but not very memorable either. The staff were fairly attentive and very kind.
Very quiet restaurant during the day. Unfortunately, the lovely staff keep looking at you as you're trying to enjoy your meal. The fish (baja) taco was good and the carne asada was alright. I enjoyed the tortilla chips with pico de gallo, the complimentary glasses of water and the condiments on offer
I’m Mexican, and having dinner here reminds me my country, the food it’s amazing real taste of Mexican food, very decent size the tacos(real tortilla the best) also the ceviche it’s amazing, the margaritas too everything haha, but also the staff there were so friendly and very kind, the girl at the front Wa, was very friendly and her service to clients was excellent, if you want to taste the flavours of Mexico, you need to come here highly recommended, next time I’m in Vietnam I’ll get back 100% !!
Absolutely delicious - some of the best tacos I've had! Staff were lovely and the food and agua fresca were both so good. Very reasonable pricing too.
We hebben hier heel lekker gegeten. De sfeer is goed en de bediening erg vriendelijk. We zijn hier tijdens ons korte verblijf in Hoi An twee keer geweest. De jonge meid die ons hielp kon enthousiast uitleggen over de verschillende sausjes e.d. Leuke, gezellige meid. Ze vertelde ons dat ze veel producten uit Mexico importeren om het authentiek te houden.
Craving Mexican food for months in south east asia and you run into Masa Taqueria… WOW!! One of the best mexican food I’ve had in a while. Will come back and recommend to everyone!❤️ The staff was super attentive and friendly.

Dude this place is well worth a visit. I’m traveling from California and missed me some Mexican food. They’ve got the flavors down all the way to the Valentina hot sauce. Their michelada’s are one of the best I’ve ever had as well.
Tacos, taquitos, dips and margaritas. All you need for a great meal. The pico de gallo is wonderful, full of great flavour and fresh. Tacos are made with good ingredients and spiced just right and the taquitos were brilliant. Their guacamole is wonderful and there condiments on the table to add your heat level. Menu is on the wall, so it's pick, pay and enjoy
Ich bin jetzt seit knapp 3 Wochen in Vietnam und hatte noch all den Sommerrollen und Banh Mis auch mal Bock mir was mexikanischen in die Eier zu drücken. Ich hatte drei verschiedene Tacos und alle waren frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Als deutscher Atze gab's natürlich ein köstliches Saigon Bia dazu, damit der Promillewert auch am frühen Mittag schon ein wenig in Wallung kommt :-). Wenn ich nämlich eine Sache, neben gutem Essen, besonders liebe, dann ist es mir karachomäßig einen hinter die Rüstung zu römern. Das vietnamesische Bia ist leider sehr leicht und kickt nur sehr dezent. Deswegen wird gleich vermutlich auch noch ein Tablett Mezcal ins zentrale Nervensystem befördert (hehe). Schaut gerne mal rein und genießt die tolle Küche!

There is so much Vietnamese food you can have , we are so happy we found this place . It was delicious! We have the pastor tacos , the chicken taquitos and the ceviche . For dessert : Churros .We were really impressed !

I was genuinely surprised to find a taquería in Vietnam — and even more surprised when it turned out to be good. Being from Mexico, I’m picky when it comes to tacos. I loved hearing that the owner drew her inspiration from Puerto Vallarta, a place I’ve visited before. The fact that the flavor and culture impacted her enough to bring that experience all the way to Vietnam says a lot. The food? Shockingly delicious. The guacamole hit the right notes, the tacos were flavorful and well-balanced, and even my margarita was on point — not too sweet, not too sour, just right. The staff was warm and welcoming, and I was honestly honored when they asked for my input on a new carnitas taco they’re testing for the menu. If you’re craving authentic flavors or just want something different from the typical travel food, Masa Taqueria is worth a visit. Would absolutely go back.

En mi opinión el menú es pobre, no hay unos nachos completos, solo algunos tacos. El guacamole de los totopos estaba muy bueno, lo malo que pedimos extra de queso por encima de los nachos y nos pusieron una triste pizca de queso fresco.. (encuéntralo en la foto si lo ves 😂) Los tacos de ternera estaban bien, el de pollo vegano no nos acabó de gustar, el de setas estaba bien también. Otra critica es que no sirven botella de agua, entonces te van rellenando el vaso de agua ellos. Pero entre el picante y que veníamos con calor, teníamos que estar avisando todo el rato para que nos rellenaran (en lugar de dejarnos la botella que usaban encima de nuestra mesa) Edito mi respuesta en base a la respuesta del propietario para añadir lo siguiente: - La crítica del agua es constructiva, no es una queja ni se lo tome como un ataque, simplemente una sugerencia para el personal y los clientes sedientos. Obviamente como es algo gratis no vamos a pedir que nos dejen el agua en la mesa, lo siento vulgar... - el queso no era feta y si lo era no sabía a nada. Parecia queso fresco. Pero no es habitual encontrar buenos quesos en Asia.
Simplemente increíble!!! El sabor es buenísimo de todos los platos que pedimos. Y las bebidas también! Todo súper bien servido y la atención excelente. Extra points porque la música también es buenísima! Así que pasarás un buen rato comiendo y también disfrutando de la música y ambiente 😁 súper recomendado!!
Fui a el atendiendo a las reseñas y no fallé. Como otro "reseñero" he vivido en mexico y puedo decir que el taco y los totopos con guacamole se acercaban mucho mucho. Cebolla morada, jalapeños, valentina,,, todo riquísimo. Servicio superatento y sonriente. Por poner un pero: estaría genial alguna cerveza mejicana. ( quizá la había y no la vi) Repetiré sin dudarlo!!!!
Nunca pensé que comería tan rico. Los tacos son buenos hay salsas mexicanas u opciones veganas también. Cómo mexicano recomiendo mucho este lugar si en algún momento quieren hacer una pausa de la riquísima comida de vietnamita.
Después de varios meses fuera de México, comer en este lugar fue un verdadero “oasis”. Las tortillas de los tacos me supieron a “gloria” , tiene micheladas riquísimas y además con música mexicana así que la ambientación es muy buena. ¡Gracias por hacerme sentir en México!
נתחיל מהאווירה. מקום ממש יפה עם מוזיקה מקסיקנית שמכניסה לאווירה. השירות היה מעולה והאוכל- וואו!! מדהים! הזמנתי סביצ'ה שהיה מעולה, טיפה פיקנטי למי שאוהב וגם למי שלא זה בסדר. הנאצ׳וס שמגיעים בצד מעולים!! היה פשוט מעולה וחוויה טובה:)

Ho apprezzato subito il menù perché non ha un milione di piatti, ma un numero corretto (nei locali più autentici messicani ce ne sono veramente pochi). Tutto è preparato al momento ed è tutto davvero delizioso. La jamaica è aromatica e buonissima. Il sapore del mais mi ha fatto ritornare col pensiero a quel meraviglioso Paese che è il Messico e che ho visitato varie volte. Lo staff è molto cortese e disponibile. Grazie per la bella esperienza, soprattutto a Hoàng che ha cucinato queste prelibatezze!
Quán tuyệt vời, nhân viên thân thiện, không khí dễ chịu. Tôi gọi món taco đậu đen và taco cá, cả hai đều rất ngon và có vị giống như taco tôi từng ăn ở Mexico. Giá cả tương đương với các quán khác trong khu vực. Bữa tối của tôi tổng cộng 105.000 VND. Chắc chắn sẽ quay lại. Sau hai tháng ở Việt Nam, đây chính là kỳ nghỉ mà tôi cần.

Chắc chắn sẽ quay lại lần nữa.
Bữa tối ngon tuyệt, với nhiều lựa chọn thịt, cá và taco chay!! Họ cũng có nhiều loại salad, nachos và các món ăn kèm khác nữa. Không gian dễ thương và trang trí rất đẹp, cùng đội ngũ nhân viên tuyệt vời phục vụ chu đáo!

Rico, aunque le agregaría más sal y aliños a las preparaciones. Efectivamente los tacos son pequeños hay que pedir 2-3 por persona, considerar por los precios. El personal muy amable y preocupado, 5 estrellas para ellos 👏👏👏 A los taquitos de pollo, dice ser crispy pero apenas se siente una orilla crispy. Bueno el de Porotos y el de carne.
Y’all these aguachile de camarón are the bomb. Keep in mind it is a bit spicy but if you love chile, cilantro, and lemon this is for you! Tortilla Chips were a tad bit salty for my taste but tortilla chips are a must with this dish. Also the cucumber agua fresca was delicious. If I could have I would have eaten it two days in a row but I had to try the local food.
El local es muy agradable y está genial decorado! Los tacos están buenísimos e incluso tienen opciones vegetarianas y veganas para que todo el mundo pueda disfrutar de la comida. Los nachos con pico de gallo y los margaritas 10/10 también. Un sitio genial en el centro de Hoi An.
