Great service and great food🙌🏻We ate breakfast here for 3 days and were very satisfied! Would recommend salt coffee and Club baguette (Banh Mi)❤️Loved everything!

We found this hidden gem in Hoi An on Valentine’s Day and absolutely loved it. It’s family owned, and the owner is so warm and welcoming! The beef pho and banh mi were delicious, but the pork spring rolls were our favourite. Absolutely worth trying. Highly recommend if you’re in Hoi An.

I always look for places where mostly locals go. This isn’t one of those spots, but the food was delicious and the service was kind and welcoming.

Great Banh Mi and white rose dumplings. Mango smoothie made vegan (without milk) upon request. Tasty coconut. Really nice and helpful, offering airport transfers and tours. All around excellent.

Actually, the best meal I’ve had in Vietnam and I’ve been here for a month! Absolutely worth walking across the bridge and leaving tourist pricing to support a locally owned restaurant with absolutely amazing food. I’ll be back!

Myself and my husband came here for breakfast. The place looked very welcoming. We had only just arrived in hoi an. The lady named Susan was very helpful. Gave us good information on what to do in hoi an, and was absolutely lovely to us. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely be coming back.

Such a lovely little spot to grab some food. I had Vietnamese pancakes for the first time and they were so tasty. The staff are friendly. It's in a quieter area but not far to walk from the old town.

This spot should not be missed. The family are so friendly and accommodating. Along with the best pork banh mi you’ve ever had, the smoothies are super fresh, the atmosphere is great and they offer cheaper transfers to da nang airport/attractions than I’ve seen anywhere else locally.

We had dinner here with our family and the owners were super nice. They gave my son a booklet and pens to draw as well as a toy car. He was happy and so were we. The food was great as well! We can absolutely recommend Sun Central 😊

After the recent floods on Can Nam Island, most of the local, riverside restaurants are still closed amidst a clean up. Therefore, while walking my dog on an evening, I noticed Sun Central Restaurant was open for business. Wanting to support the local community and never eaten here before, i decided on having dinner here. The open style restaurant (doubles as a travel agency) is quite small but very presentable with nice bamboo seating and tables (plus fans, if needed). Unlike the riverside restaurants, this place is mostly aimed at the tourists, so it is more comfortable but prices are a little higher (nothing too extreme and all in accordance with its pleasant setting). The service is very friendly and English is spoken moderately (sufficient enough for orders and basic conversation). As other reviewers have mentioned, the portion sizes are a little small, but the taste, quality and flavours are all very good. For dinner I ordered; 1x mango smoothie (69k) = small glass but lots of fresh mango pulp and not overdiluted with excessive amounts of sweetened milk. A bit expensive for the size but tasted great and exactly how I like it. 1x Cao Lau (60k) = very tasty with a good amount of tender pork and crispy noodle squares, but it could've have come with a bit more green leafy salad. The taste was definitely comparable to the local offerings...and even better than some too. 1x Braised Pork Belly in Claypot (149k) = the sauce was so delicious and full of flavour but some pieces of the pork belly were a bit chewy (noting that it was not bad or more chewy than that at any local eatery...standard on how the Vietnamese enjoy eating it). The side of steamed rice could've been larger, and probably my only main fault with the dish. Overall, I was delighted and pleased with my meal and experience here, especially as they are pet friendly and my dog could sit inside (or on their small terrace) with me. Yes, you can get cheaper nearby, but for the upgrade in seating and appearance (allowing for a peaceful and friendly atmosphere) I found it worth the higher prices. (NB: The foolish Google Maps algorithm won't publish my review publicly when my photos are added, so have a look at the "updates" section to see the menu, restaurant and meal images....thanks, stupid and useless Google and so much for the "great" AI we are supposed to be grateful for and benefiting from (NOT)!

Food is very delicious! Banh Mi is very good and theie vietnamese coffee is the best. Accessible and kind staff. We will surely go back here. Also, thanks to Lam for accommodating us and to his family for making the best banh mi in town ☺️

Typical here - the food is great and much better value than in Old Town. The really great experience here was meeting the wonderful woman who owns the restaurant and next door tour company, Suong (Susan in English). Such a beautiful little restaurant. Service was fast and servers very friendly. I had the boneless fish, fried spring rolls and was surprised the fish came with rice included! Had to get a banana pancake to top off a lovely evening meal in Hoi An. Would definitely recommend for a quieter experience away from the hustle and bustle. Such reasonable prices too! We booked our shuttle from the airport from this place. Before pickup we had lunch here. The food was plenty and very tasty. We also had some fresh juice. Would recommend!

It's a nice restaurant, I usually stop here for beers and banh mi, but the pho is exceptional

Family run local restaurant where you can watch local life passing by. It is mid autumn festival and a group of children came buy with drums, cymbals and a lions head and costumes. Met some other people travelling and had a chat. Lovely evening. Lots of veggie options and I had egg plant in clay pot, loved it.

Great food for a good price and Susan, the owner, is very kind. It is right in front of the road so not very quiet. Otherwise a nice place to eat away from all the tourists.

The food was so delicious and the location is great if you're staying on Cam Nam island and can't be bothered to go into Old Town. I went there my first day in Hoi An and my last day. I only regret not eating there more often.

Have been here twice now on my 2025 trip to Hoi An, all the food has been delicious, two stand out the White Rose & Braised pork belly, but honestly all so amazing! Extremely friendly staff on for a chat and telling us more about Hoi An, extremely reasonable prices and a nice location out side the hustle and bustle of central Hoi An

Food was phenomenal! A lovely restaurant only a stones throw away from Hoi An old town. The owners are a family which offer great service with a smile! Susan in particular spoke to us for a long period of time and gave us some great tips! She recommended what was ideal for children and wasn't spicy!

First thing we noticed was the smiles. The ladies were so nice. Then after that our food came out, beautifully presented and prepared. It was awesome and my son and I went back the next night for a late meal after a big day. The restaurant owned and run by a friendly local family that made us feel so welcome. We spoke to Susan about tours they could organise and they looked after us so well. Recommend this place very highly.

Wonderful pho and white rose! The fresh coconut was delicious and the service is fantastic. They offer airport rides and tours too. We came back multiple times. Highly recommend! One of our meals was 9:30pm and we were so grateful they were open and still making delicious food.

Was brought here by the driver we engaged when we ask for viet food. He brought us to Sun Central which happens to be his sister’s restaurant. We enjoyed our meal thoroughly. Our children enjoyed the grilled pork the most. We ordered the platter and found it tasty. I ordered the salty coffee and enjoyed it thoroughly. Most of the food we ordered is good..

We enjoyed a fabulous lunch at this charming, restaurant. The very friendly proprietor recommended a sharing menu for two with fried wonton, fresh spring rolls and bok choi soup. The wonton were super crispy and topped with flavorful red and green pepper topping with grilled pork. The fresh spring rolls were filled with crisp vegetables and tender filling, complemented by a zesty dipping sauce. The bok choi soup was mild and pleasant, and harmonized well with the other dishes. The meal was beautifully presented. After the lunch we enjoyed the coconut coffee which was made to perfection with a crunchy topping. It’s a pleasure to recommend this little gem of a restaurant.

Wären noch mehr Sterne zu vergeben - dieses Restaurant hätte jeden zusätzlichen Stern verdient. Frisches Essen (Reisnudeln & Gemüse; Wantan mit Seafood) toll zubereitet, familiäre Atmosphäre. Nur ein paar Meter außerhalb der trubeligen Altstadt und dafür umso schöner.

Such an amazing place! They offer a great selection of Vietnamese dishes! I got the Banh xeo and the staff was so lovely they showed me how to eat it properly! They even give you free watermelon at the end of the meal :) Really great over all experience! ♡

Came here with my partner for breakfast on our last day together in Vietnam. The food was really good, definitely freshly made. Big menu with both local and western options. The staff were so friendly and had a lovely chat with us! We told her we were leaving tomorrow so she helped us arrange transport to the airport. Would recommend!

First off we came across Susan's restaurant while staying in Hoi an. We decided to have a meal there and we ended up having a lovely meal, very nice, clean and healthy. Susan asked if we had been to Ba Na Hills which was on our list to do. We said no, we haven't yet. Susan said she can organise the whole trip if we would like to go. At first we were a little hesitan, but when she gave us a price, it was a little cheaper than we were quoted prior. Not by a lot, so we thought she seems genuine enough and decided to go for it. By the end of the trip, we were so happy with the whole experience that was organised by Susan. It was fantastic. She also organised our flights from Da nang to Ho Chi Minh City a couple of days later. Overall Susan is a very trustworthy and lovely person. We highly recommend her and her restaurant and travel services. Nick, Genevieve and family.

Came here for a late breakfast had a really lovely time and managed to book a car to go to the airport for a very reasonable price. There are lots of options on the menu, I got a very tasty pork bahn mi. The service was very good and we ended up having a lovely chat with our server. We found out it is family run with our servers mum doing the cooking. It is a very pretty place to get some lovely food and drinks and maybe sort your travel somewhere if you are needing it. Definitely recommend

We came to this restaurant three times during our stay—it was that good! The food is more than delicious, and the atmosphere is incredibly warm and family-friendly. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. I highly recommend the garlic noodles/rice and their fried rice with vegetables, egg, and chicken. A real gem!

We came here a couple times while staying at iHome. The food was amazing and the service impeccable. The workers speak very good English and good conversation with them, and Susan was especially so kind and helpful offering many services. We wished we could keep going back but we had to move on to another town. :)

Location was really good for me since I lived at a hostel next door and would sometimes need to eat quite late. They owners were very sweet as well. It was a bit overpriced though and the food wasn’t the best that I’ve tried in Hoi An, but it was also catered to tourists in the area. They did have things that might be in demand if your looking for more western food. Good experience but a little lower rating because of the food.

Amazing little cafe/restaurant. I’m gluten free and the staff were helpful in letting me know what was safe for me to eat. Had the most beautiful beef Pho and fresh juice. The alcoholic drinks are also very reasonable.

Our first meal at Hoi An which was walking distance from our hotel. Food was delicious and the service and atmosphere was great too. Susan was super helpful and gave us the best advice on what to do around. She’ll even help you book amazing activities and have the best time in this awesome place.

Ordered the fresh spring rolls and Banh xeo with pork. The spring rolls were the best I had in Vietnam over the course of a month. And the banh xeo and pork was delicious. The owner was also so nice and helpful with explaining the local foods, how to eat them, etc. Definitely worth a stop when in hoi an!

Such a delightful addition to Cam Nam! I had the clay pot pork belly and it was perfect. Caramelized sauce was savory and sweet. Plenty of menu options for everyone. Easy walk over the bridge from Old Town and so much more peaceful. There are also baked goods available from the owners sister shop.

Women were very friendly yes true .....but Pho Bo 😜 I am in Vietnam for 2 months..... This one was just noodles and water ......double price and nothing special no any green leaves no bean sprouts no herbs . The Vietnamese main dish was double priced but double boring and empty compared to street food. Very sad experience 😔

If you are staying at iHome (or one of the other nearby hotels) don't make the mistake of sticking to the free breakfast and skipping Sun Central. I went to Sun Central twice during my stay in Hoi And and all of the food options and coffees were great. The owner is also very welcoming, speaks good English and makes you feel right at home. Go check it out. You definitely won't regret it.

Ein kleiner Geheimtipp dieses kleine Restaurant etwas außerhalb der Altstadt. Das Essen ist wirklich super alles frisch zubereitet und von höchster Qualität. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, als Bonus drauf gibt es einen kleinen sprachkurs in Vietnamesisch. Es zahlt sich wirklich aus diese fünf Minuten Haus der Altstadt rauszugehen. Super Preis leistungsverhältnis.

The best restaurant in Hoi An. Everything on the meal is delicious and you can tell it was made with love. The restaurant is ran by one family and everyone works here and we talked for an hour with the family. Please go here! I recommend having the fried wonton as an appetizer as well

Nice little pit stop cycling from the end of the island into the old town. The pancakes were very tasty, the owner friendly and inquisitive, and allowed us to park our bikes there and pick them up a few hours later coming by back from the old town in the evening.

Lovely visit to Sun Central Restaurant and Cafe. Had the salt coffee and coconut coffee which were both delicious and very reasonably priced! The restaurant is family owned, and the owner offered us complementary Vietnamese tea which was lovely! Would recommend!

We came here twice due to how good the food was. My favourite was the bánh mì I tried all the different meets and the tofu and it was one of my favourite in Vietnam. Really friendly staff and great prices. I would really recommend to anyone!!

Susan is the most lovely host. Her English is excellent and she is a tour provider as well making a visit there for the wonderful Phó even more advantageous. Always smiling always helpful Susan will make every effort to feed you a delicious meal and make your stay in HoiAn more pleasant. Great location to watch the world go by and have a beer.
