Very good restaurant. And big smile.
치킨볶음밥,모닝글로리,스프링롤 먹었는데 다 맛있었어요 주인분도 너무 친절하시고 완전 추천해요!! it's delicious and reasonable price i ate a fried chicken rice, morning glory and spring roll also owner is very kind i highly recommend!
I found this restaurant by accident one night 6 months ago. Since then I’ve been eating here *at least* once a week, sometimes more. High quality food, flavorful, the portions are great and it’s insanely affordable. An absolute MUST if you’re in Hoi An. I highly recommend the eggplant clay pot and usually pair it with either the stir fried beef with coriander/any lemongrass meat (chicken, pork or beef) and stir fried veg with garlic. This meal usually lasts me 2-3 meals, making it an exceptionally affordable option. The seating area is not the best, with the hard wooden chairs but is across the road from a bar that always plays western classics loud enough to hear, which makes for a really comforting experience. Highly recommended. I take everyone I know here and they’re always more than satisfied!
One of those places you hope to find at the beginning of your stay as we did. Went here 4 out of 6 nights. The claypots are an absolute must. Nice family restaurant. Food takes a while to Come, but that is because it is prepared fresh. Affordable as well compared to the tourist traps.
Food is ok but they brought me dishes I didn't order and made me pay for it without even asking if I wanted it. I thought it's included. It's a sneaky business. I don't like it.
Awesome home style well spiced meal. A little bit salty but so so delicious. I had the aubergine clay pot and the grilled mackerel in a banana leaf ! Great value and great taste
The food here is incredible, especially the eggplant clay pot!! The lady who runs the place is very kind, and the food prices are very affordable. We have been here a few times and would highly recommend 😊
Food is DELICIOUS and super AFFORDABLE! I ordered the eggplant clay pot, sweet and sour tofu and fresh tofu spring rolls and it was all amazing. I would highly recommend this place it!
Realmente bueno.
This place is a must if you are in Hoi An. Food was incredibly tasty, big portions and the price is very very reasonable. They have all the local specialities of Hoi An and the service was also very nice. We’ll come back!
Delicious Local Food Very good local food, full of flavor and made with care. The lady serving us was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. Be prepared to wait a little for your meal, but good food takes time—and this was definitely worth it! The fish in clay pot was especially delicious. Would happily come back again!
We've been in Vietnam for 3 months and this was simply our best Bánh Xèo and our best Cao Lau.
The food was very tasty and freshly made. I could tell they put a lot of care into the cooking. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely come back again. Thank you for the great meal!
We had a delicious lunch here for 2 people. Its a small family run restaurant and the restaurant is an extension of the family home. We had Egg fried rice, pork kebabs, Squid and chips, sautéed spinach with garlic, mango juice and water and the bill was 231K VND. I liked the fried rice, the pork kebabs were okay nothing to rave about and the same goes for sautéed spinach. Its a value for money place. I would recommend coming here.
I went here three times in a week staying in Hoi an it was so good! Such lovely and tasty Vietnamese food. The fish clay pot is excellent as well as the Cao lau. We also ordered from here for delivery for a group of 6 and all the food was hot, fresh and delivered quickly. Thank so much for having us. Hope to return
We really enjoyed our meal that we had to return and eat it again. One of the best tofu with tomato sauce we had and also very affortable. Thank you
The eggplant dish... outstanding! I could eat that every day 😋 I also got the fish clay pot which was very nice although a little spicy for me. But that eggplant though... I'm going to go back today and have it for lunch before I leave Hoi An. The whole meal including two beers came to 140,000d.
Walked here for a late night meal with our baby & toddler in tow: based on the reviews, we tried the spring rolls (yummy, delicately fried), chicken rice (simple but tasty), eggplant in clay pot (nice, particularly paired with chicken rice/ but tbh, not absolutely mind-blowing like many reviews stated..maybe I was expecting too much 😅), fish in clay pot (now THIS was VERY nice! Beautiful fragrance & ginger, saffon favours come thru). Would recommend Bon for simple, delicious homestay cooking - enjoyed with street noise mellowed out by the great music placing at the bar across the street.
We had the cao lau, spring rolls and chicken and rice. All were delicious :) I’m no expert on cao lau but it was delicious The toilet was clean also!
Went twice in my week stay in Hoi an, because it's very affordable and close to my hostel (bed station 4*). Food was really good, the fried shrimp spring rolls were some of the best I've ever had. Also their clay pot dishes are nice. Bon is also one of the cheapest places around, able to have a starter, main and a beer for just over 100,000 dong. Although I was intentionally choosing food that was cheaper. It was very quiet both times I went there, which is good or bad depending on what atmosphere you like. No possible complaints about service, seated very quickly, waiters understand English very well, and the cheque was brought very quickly after asking the waiter.
Beautiful restaurant and amazing owners who are lovely people and very sincere. The prices are very affordable and the quality of the food is excellent and portions sizes plentiful. Unlike many other restaurants in Hoi An, they do not hassle you or pounce on you when you arrive which I really appreciated. Thank you and I encourage you to try them.
I loved the fish claypot, the fried squid and their pho. Really good prices, too. Favorite restaurant in Hoi an so far.
I have been traveling for a little more than a month and this is the best food I have eaten so far! Amazing food and good service. I was in Hoi An for 5 nights and I ate here 3 of those nights. I loved the fish in clay pot as well as the fish in banana leaf. My friend ate eggplant in clay pot and it was also delicious. I also recommend the fried wontons. They have a big menu as well with a lot of variety. If you ever visit Hoi An you must to go here! Loved it!
Came here based on the other reviews and we all were very underwhelmed with the food. This might be deserving of a 5 star review based on budget alone, but this was meh all round. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was bc the lady was so lovely. Genuinely do not understand why this place has such a high rating.
What a find! When we went in, we were a bit concerned about how broad the menu was and the lack of other customers… We needn’t have worried! The food was wonderful (we had mi quang, white rose & claypot fish). It came pretty quickly, considering that all was freshly cooked from scratch. The family are sweet & friendly and it’s really good value, being a bit off the main tourist drag… A lovely shaded outdoor terrace or posher indoors (no outdoor shoes) and a vegetarian/vegan section to the menu!
We loved this restaurant! The food is amazing and very reasonably priced. I'd recommend the Hoi An chicken and rice and the eggplant in a clay pot. The family that runs it is so pleasant. Highly recommend.
I came back here 3 times during my short stay in Hoi An because the food was amazing! Egg plant in claypot became my favorite but everything I tried was so good. Also the family working here was so friendly and loving people. Definitely recommend if you like trying local authentic food, but also they have a big menu so they have definitely have something for everyone.
This is a hidden gem of Hoi An. The food is incredibly delicious and the prices are ridiculously affordable especially for the value. In our 15ish days in Vietnam, this is one of the only ones we came back to (two nights in a row). Also a great place to get large bottles of cheap water! Would recommend the Cao Lau, clay pot fish, and sautéed chicken with lemongrass and chili.
This is my favourite restaurant in Hoi An and the people who run it are extremely nice. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The local Hoi An dishes are amazing but they have lots of other options too. I went here almost every day for the 9 days I spent in Hoi An.
This place is truly what you’re looking for. The food is very delicious and very cheap, the seasoning on the grilled fish was sublime. Grilled fish, 2 veg dishes, pork noodles, a beer and a mango smoothie was 212k. All served by a lovely lady with a big smile. The bar across the road playing nirvana, rchp, amy winehouse. Could not be happier the place we were aiming for was closed, will be coming back tomorrow. Oss
Had a take out for lunch here. Very polite lady worked there. The taste was good and the price was great. There is a huge menu to choose from.
I stayed in Hoi A for over a week days. My boyfriend and I tried lots of restaurants but in the end we kept coming back to Bon Restaurant ❤️ The food was delicious, extremely well priced and the family were absolutely lovely. We will miss them and hope to come back one day. Cảm ơn vì tất cả ❤️🇻🇳
Great food and affordable prices. I've been twice now. Get the Cao Lau (authentic Hoi An noodles).
The food was delicious at an affordable price. Was staying at the Lasenta hotel and this local place right nearby was the perfect spot. The kids loved their chicken rice!
Going there everyday. Super good, even cheaper than other restaurants in hoi an. I always eat chicken and it's well cooked.
Calamar farcis non farcis juste à l'eau ... Passez votre chemin.
This restaurant is absolutely fantastic, I would highly recommend that you come here! Pho is a classic for myself but you must try the clay pot eggplant 10/10
Super tasty food at amazing prices. Friendly lady running this restaurant does a great job. Impeccably clean toilet a nice bonus!
We absolutely adored the food at this restaurant. During our five day stay in Hoi An, we visited four times! The food is delicious, affordable and the staff are so friendly/welcoming. I recommend the the Cao Lau, stuffed squid and White Rose Dumplings - I’m still dreaming about these dishes! We also tried the tofu curry, wonton noodles, sautéed spinach and wontons which were also super tasty.
Food was really good I ate here twice. Reasonably priced (chicken curry 60k, spring rolls 35k) and took a good 15 minutes to come out so you know it's been freshly cooked.
Restaurante tranquilo, estábamos mi pareja y yo solos.
My first time trying Cao Lâu! It was tasty and unlike anything I have tried before. The food was really affordable and tasty, spring rolls were great and the beef noodles had lots of veggies which was really good. I recommend coming here for some cheap and tasty food, you won’t be disappointed
Is absolutely delicious. I do not eat pork. So she makes it with chicken for me and also I love carrot so she puts in. It is a crazy price for what it is and everything in the area is very rationally priced. This is still a vietnamese restaurant so I guess You can only expect hand chairs and things but it doesn't matter
The best meal I had during my stay in Vietnam. The food is simply awesome: cau lau is delicious but the eggplants really steal the show. Truly otherworldly. I have no doubts this is the closest you can get to have a loving Vietnamese mother that cooks your favourite dishes when you visit her. I am a bit sad that I found it on my last night in Hoi An, because I would have come back to try more things. I will be coming back in the next trip for sure!
The most important thing when eating outside is the meal you get on the table. And Bon offers a large menu card for all kind of desires. I eat probably the best beef dish for the last months, spectacular! Stop there! The dish is called: Grilled beef with lemon grass and chilli, delicious!
The eggplant in the clay pot was delicious. Portions are small, but the taste and speed of service makes up for it. Granted it wasn't busy when we visited.
Loved the food at Bon and came back 3 times. The Cao Lau is lovely and the aubergine hotpot was delicious. If you're staying at Bedstation hostel then it's a must as it's only over the road
I had an amazing meal at this restaurant. Ordered the aubergine hotpot and shrimp spring rolls. Both were so delicious - the aubergine hotpot is one of the best things I've ever eaten! The owners are very friendly and such a calm, welcoming atmosphere. You have to try it.
Need to be prepared to wait a while if it gets busy, keep in mind if you are very hungry. OK price for what you get
I wish I was here for longer so I could come back! I had pork fried spring rolls and the eggplant in clay pot. Just so spectacularly yuuummmmyyyy
Family restaurant with happy owner lady who is glad to cook for you like you are her kids. We had beef with lemongrass, stuffed squid and banana pancakes which were all really delicious. And also the aubergine! Probably the best aubergine I ever had. Althought we were here alone we waited a bit for the food (which is also mentioned in other reviews) but in this case it’s a mark of quality. It just means the lady is taking time to prepare from sratch the best meal you will have in Vietnam. The prices are super friendly too, we were happy to find this place on our first night in Hoi An so we can keep coming back and try other meals :)
This is an exceptional restaurant and honestly not to be missed. We were staying close by and came in based on proximity - but my partner and I both agree this is one of the best meals we've had in Vietnam. Cao Lau and Steamed Fish in Banana Leaf were both 10/10. Eat here.
Super bonne cuisine !
The eggplant in clay pot was one of the best dishes I’ve eaten in south east Asia. It was truly divine! Great service as well, I wasn’t feeling well and they changed my order to takeaway without hesitation.
A nice, simple straight forward restaurant steps from Havana Bar which you should also stop in for a beer. Very enjoyable service. Watch the neighborhood pass by as you enjoy your meal. We had Cao lau, spring rolls and white roses. The Cao Lau was the largest serving I have had in Hoi An and the pork was lean and the flavor well balanced. Prices are fair for a sit down restaurant. Average price 50,000 dong.
It's realy realy good food. I went here 7 times. You have try
We wanted to try Cao Lau, but wanted to avoid the craziness of the ancient town. We found this restaurant and were thrilled with how delicious both the Cao lau and the spring rolls were. This restaurant is a great find. Tasty, reasonably priced food and a very kind lady who served us.
Food is reasonably priced and tastes AMAZING. Lady who runs the place is really kind too. She cooks dishes herself and is amazing at it. We visited multiple times and loved everything we tried.
We're regulars here! Delicious food for low prices. Special recommendations for eggplants in claypot and shrimps with garlic and chili (in fact, it's paprika, not chili) 👌
This is the worst restaurant and bad experience. I waited over 30 minutes. The waitress said it will be ready in 10 minutes but it was not true. So I couldn't eat and I just wasted my time. They are not kind. If you are alone, this restaurant is not good place. They Give food to group guest first. I feel ignored.
We love it here, we come a couple of times a week. You always know you are going to get amazing inexpensive food and the lady owner is very sweet. Try the lemon grass and chilli chicken love it!!!
Great little local place. Awesome food as recommended by others try the chicken rice and the eggplant clay pot delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Bob is a great hostess and very accomodating.
Delicious cao Lau - textural and flavourful
Food (Cao Lau and White rose) is not tasty. I found an insect and a hair in it. I fort sick in the evening, don't know if it related but definitely won't go back.
Went twice - had delicious fried wontons first time and then fried rice second time and my friend had the delicious clay pot eggplant and then the sweet and sour tofu! Beers were also very cheap! Super good value for money and great service !!
We having dinner at Bon restaurant. We try out Hoi An local food - Cau lau, mi Quang & white rose. Delicious and tasty. Come hoi an should come and try it. The price is cheap. The lady which is the boss so friendly and service very good. And can cook yummy food. Should come and try
Great food, family-run restaurant. Expect a bit of wait, but it's worth it. The eggplant was amazing.
Great food and best quality. The owner was very polite and helpful. It was like food cooked by mom! Be sure to visit it when you are at Hoi An!
Very unassuming corner house without much signage for "Bon"...just look for Cao Lau sign, seating in front patio or in front room. This restaurant is family run and all orders are cooked freshly on the spot in a small kitchen in the back - best food we had while in Hoi An! The owner is so friendly, trying to figure out what exactly it is you want.... Her fried spring rolls are in spun dough, peanut sauce for rice paper spring rolls made freshly when you ask and White Rose was the best of the many we have had during several weeks in Hoi An. Needless to say - we ate here multiple times!
The food was amazingly good. I had theeggplant in claypot and was one of best meals I have had in Vietnam. I really really want the recipe! Very friendly service and welcoming. Thanks for a great experience.
Such delicious home cooked food, lovely family, so welcoming and hospitable. The eggplant clay pot is just sensational, the best I’ve had here in Vietnam ( and I eat it regularly). As a vegetarian coeliac they are also very accommodating and I have a very good variety of goods available to choose from. Highly recommended!
We knew we picked a great place when a couple of locals who were just finishing dinner told us that it was one of their favorite places. The absolutely lovely owner prepared us a delicious meal. The eggplant and grilled fish in banana leaf were perfect. Extensive menu of both Vietnamese and western dishes. Located outside of the touristy center, about a 20 minute walk. Fabulous!
Quet Neighbourhood restaurant. Very good , cheap and tasty food. I ate fried shrims with tamarindi sause. Was excellent.
Really wonderful vegetarian options. Great portion sizes for the price. Worth a visit for lovely local food! The lady is always so lovely. Food can take a little while but I think it's a small family running the business so be patient with them.
Such an amazing place! The food was plentiful and so flavourful, I can't recommend here enough, the owner was lovely and very accommodating. No complaints about the wait time as everything was fresh and cooked from scratch, the lady who owns this does everything by herself and this should be praised, not criticised. If you want great authentic Vietnamese food, go here!
We had a great meal. The owner is lovely, she did a great job, both in service and cooking. Definitively try the eggplant dish and the vegetarian fried springrolls. The eggplant ist delicious and the springrolls are one of a kind. If never seen springrolls consisting of a net of dough instead of rice Papier. Great stuff & great prices.
Dined here for dinner on our last night in Hoi An. Really wish we’d found it earlier! Authentic, delicious, local food cooked and served by a very warm, friendly host with a smile! There are also western dishes on the menu. Generous portions, very tasty and excellent prices!
Amazing food at very reasonable prices! Thanks to the owner for not charging tourist prices and still providing the tastiest food. Our favorite dishes were chicken rice, shrimp spring rolls
Bon is a very lovely and kind owner, so I keep coming back. The Cau Lao is one of the best in Hoi An. Always fresh and perfectly presented. In summer the bougainvillea tree is in bloom and you never feel crowded or hurried on here.
This place is great. I've been going to Bon over the last 3-4 years every time I'm in Hoi An - the food is tasty and the lady that owns it is so kind. Good prices too. Definitely worth a visit to support this fantastic family run business in Hoi An.
We went quite late on a Sunday so it was completely empty, but didn't distract from a lovely meal. Authentic Vietnamese food, cooked to order, extensive menu and cheap!
Service was good. Food was edible but the flavour does not reflect the reviews. Appears to be westerner reviews as it was lacking a lot of flavour. We ordered 5 different dishes.
The vegetarian food here is great. I’ve tried almost all of it and didn’t have any disappointments. The eggplant clay pot should be your go-to if you’re unsure what to order.
We wish we had discovered this place earlier in our stay! The eggplant in the clay pot is simply to die for, so much flavor! We also loved the onion rings (fresh onions and perfectly coated crispiness). And also the tofu dish! I've read complaints about the long waiting time. Attention! people, the lady taking your order is also the cook and the homeowner of the restaurant. She is serving up some incredibly delicious meals, so it's more than worth the wait, it's as if you have been invited into her home for dinner. Very affordable lovely dishes, the cleanliness level was very high. And you really feel like you're supporting local families. I'd eat there everyday if I could!
I order egg plant claypot with rice and cau lao. Egg plant cook with tomato sauce really delicious. This dishes must order, I highly recommend. The cau lao is nice and cheap compare to others. I also order banana shake and it won't feel sweet.it really belnd from banana.
The sweet and sour tofu was the best food I've had in Vietnam. I'd highly recommend it. The staff were very welcoming and I'll definitely be visiting again before the end of my trip.
This is the BEST place I have eaten in Hoi An so far. Possibly the best place during my stay in Vietnam. It was a 7 minute was from our hotel (Le Pavillon). The beer was so cheap (44p for a bottle of Saigon), but more importantly the food was so tasty and freshly cooked. I had prawn spring rolls as a started, with aubergine cooked in a clay pot for my main course. My boyfriend had vegetable spring rolls, with sweet and sour tofu as his main course. All food was very tasty. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Please try and speak a little Vietnamese when you go, even if you just use Google Translate. I got a few laughs when I tried, but it was appreciated 😁
Bardzo pyszne regionalne - Cao Lau danie w bardzo przystępnej cenie. Zdecydowanie polecam :)
One of very few places that were opened during the Tet holiday around the area. This could be why it was so slow and my order of white roses dumplings and cao lau took good 40 minutes to come out. The taste was average and dumplings looked like they had been cooked in a hurry. Cao lau was just noodles in broth with some fatty pork. Price-wise the place is at the lower end of tourists cafe. Unlikely would return.

Best cao lau we had in Hoi An! It's some distance out of the old town but easily accessible on bike. We went twice, and had cao lau, white rose, stuffed squid, and com ga. Cao lau is my favourite, whereas the other dishes were a bit bland. Price is very reasonable, free of the tourist trap. Don't expect much in terms of service though, it's a small family-run restaurant and foods may take a whille to get to your table. But the owner lady is very pleasant, and we had no trouble waiting for the food while sipping on a large bottle of Larue. Overall a great experience.
Friendly owner great food valuable prices. Awesome. went there again. But be careful when you see the pic of the food, It might be different. We saw the picture of chicken wings but she gave us fried minced boneless chicken so we told her it's not but she said it's the same. It wasn't the same tho. .
Good value (28000 for noodles and 30000 for banana pancake) but the taste is somewhat average...
Don’t go here if you’re really hungry. Over cooked / old or recooked chips and had to WAIT AGES for food 30/40 mins) Then, it came out 1 main and then 1 main ages later (might as well gone and eaten separately without partner). Lovely people and place and other food fine but need to bring out mains at same time and do fresh potato.
Staff were friendly, the place was quiet and relaxing, the cau lau and white rose were delicious, and the price was super affordable. Well recommended.
Really fantastic clay pot fish with turmeric and ginger. Bon has a huge menu with extremely reasonable prices, a great sturdy lunch spot.
Food is yummy and reasonable price! Must try Cao Lau!
This place is good. Very much worth the money and if you’re on the east side it’s worth trying if you’ve been around for a while and want some place new to go without overspending. We had the shrimp fried spring rolls, the banh xeo, and the fish in clay pot. The fish was particularly good with a good serving of turmeric. Not a must have, but definitely a good meal.
This place become our hangout spot near our hotel. Good food - reasonable prices. Bottle of dalat Red 130k. Friendly owners - they were cooking for us even when it was TET holiday and the family was having celebration dinner so essentially they were closed. Recommended if your in the area.
Great little restaurant between the main town and the beach. The food is very cheap and fresh beer only 4,000 VND a glass. The Cau Lau is a must try and a steal at only 28,000 VND for a good sized portion. Lovely family run restaurant - the owners are so kind.
Great food at super prices. Eggplant Claypot was especially good. Go for the large bottled local beers. Dinner for a family of 4 including 3 beers for under 10$
This place was as good as the reviews I read 10 minutes before I decided to take my family here for dinner. Boys aged 10, 8, 7. Boys loved their beef burger, French fries, spaggy bol. I had the local Cao lầu and it was amazing. Host was very friendly.
The food was very good, especially chicken rice and white rose. The price was reasonable compared to many restaurants. Here's the thing, it needed to wait about 30 minutes (at least), because the owner and her husband had to do everything.
One of the best meals I had in Hoi An was at this little restaurant. The owner does not speak English well, but don’t let that be a deterrent because the food is worth it! I was originally caught off guard by the American options, but that does not take away from the traditional Vietnamese dishes. Try the Ca Kho To (fish in a clay pot with garlic, ginger and saffron) and you will not be disappointed, it was one of my favorite meals in all of Vietnam and for such a reasonable price.
Outstanding and cheap local eatery in Hoi An. We had the Cao Lau and Com Ga and both were excellent value and quality. The fresh beer is 4000 dong and I would also recommend the chilli jam. Moreish! Best food in Vietnam!
Good food, very reasonable prices and 13k for Saigon bottle. I posted several pictures of the menu.
Out favorite restaurant in the area!! Amazing prices, delicious food, and vegetarian friendly! The tofu fresh rolls are decadent. Also family that runs it is very kind :)
Sehr gutes Essen, wirklich sehr lecker und Top Preis Leistung! Privat geführt und super liebe Gastgeber. Empfehlenswert__ 😄👍
Awesome place! Definitely recommend, offering the best of Vietnamese and Western food. Big menu full of options, everything is a level cheaper than anywhere else in the area. They also serve fresh beer for 4k, and it's pretty good and most importantly cold. I'd recommend the spring rolls, fresh and fried versions. Stop in for lunch or dinner, they're nice people.
I love this place. We've eaten here twice whilst in Hoi An and both times the food has been wonderful. The waiting times can be a little steep but it's always worth it. Maybe the waiting time is the reason that the beer is so cheap too! (4000 dong). The lady who runs the restaurant is very welcoming and always smiling even when she's clearly rushed off her feet. This restaurant is a testament to hard work. It shows a small operation with maximum effort yields wonderful results.
This restaurant is a bit out of the way of the main tourist district (some hotels are in this area though). I was expecting more from all the good reviews, I found it was decent for the price but not amazing. Definitely a safe place to go if you are afraid of street food though. There was only one lady who was serving the customers and cooking on her own until a bit later when her husband (I assume) eventually came to take some orders.
Amazing food with very good prices. The aubergine clay pot in unbelievable! By far the best local food we’ve had in Hoi An so far, and the owner is a super sweet woman. We’ll definitely be coming back!
One of our favorite spots in Hoi An for traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Mr and Mrs Bon as we lovingly know them well take exceptional care of you. And trust me...it's delicious. 😀😎😀 …
Very cheap. Really good despite the price. We had a burger for $2.75 which was pretty good! The cau lau was amazing! So we're the fried wontons! We are for 3 and only spent 235,000VND which is crazy!!
Mi Quang good. Cheap
LOVED this place. My boyfriend and I came for dinner 2 nights in a row. The Cao Lau was the best we had in Hoi An and the fresh spring rolls were amazing. On night 2 we ordered the claypot fish with ginger. Better than anticipated. Fantastic flavor, and you can't beat the price. Great service, great food and cheap beer!
One of our favorite meals of our 3 week trip in Hoi An! Miss Bon the chef, hostess and owner holds the title by many as 'Best Cao Lau' - a unique dish that shouldn't be missed when visiting the city. We can attest that the 'My Quang' was very tasty as well, and the beverages - local beer and coconuts - always cold. She is an incredibly sweet lady (mostly speaks Vietnamese) cooking outstanding dishes with love, and is consistent on quality and service. For the price, there are no restaurant or street food competitors that do it better than her. The patio is a lovely place to chill on a summer's evening in Hoi An and watch the bicycles float by. She is open essentially all day -- so there is never a bad time to eat there! The earlier you go, the more locals you'll see.
