고기는 전부 딱딱하고 질겨서 제대로 씹히지도 않았습니다. 음식의 기본이 전혀 지켜지지 않았다는 느낌이었습니다. 테이블에 놓인 소스를 여러 손님이 개인 수저로 떠먹는 방식이었습니다. 위생에 대한 개념이 있는지 의문이 들 정도였습니다. 리뷰보니 배탈난 분을 심심치 않게 찾아볼 수 있네요 맛있다고 할 만한 메뉴는 단 하나도 없었고, 대부분 남기고 나왔습니다. 돈이 아까웠습니다. 현금 결제 시 8% 수수료를 별도로 강제하는 점도 이해하기 어렵습니다. 이런 식의 추가 비용은 사전에 안내해야되는거 아닌가요? 올드타운에는 훨씬 좋은 식당이 많은데 굳이 이곳을 선택할 이유가 없습니다. 별 하나도 아깝고, 직원들의 태도까지 더해져 최악의 경험이었습니다. 재방문 의사는 전혀 없습니다.
솔직히진짜맛잇고 다시와도 추천할거같음 !! 분위기도좋은데 가격도 저렴해서 놀람 진짜 먹은데중에 짱 !

음.. 솔직히 별 하나도 주기 싫은데 최저가 한 개라서 그냥 할게요 양식이 땡겨서 길가다 예쁜 가게가 보이길래 들어갔는데 카르보나라 파스타는 맛있었어요 대신 좀 싱거움 그리고 고기 절어어어ㅓ어어어어ㅓ어얼대 먹지마세요 퍼포먼스가 보여줌 고기 드럽게 안 익혀져서 더 익혀달라고 10번은 말한듯 저 인두 같은거로 고기 고문하길래 퍼포먼스가 좋네핶는데 그거로 익히는거 였음; 주방에서 머하는건지 모르깄음;; 심지어 고기 상태도 힘줄이 너무 많아서 제대로 먹지 못함 사이드 감튀가 젤 맛있음 아 연어듀 맛있았음 다른 서양인들은 샐러드만 먹는데 이유가 있던거임 샤갈!!!! 그리규 현금 결제도 8퍼 추가함 이럴거면 애초에 가격을 높게 잡던가 머하는건지;ㅉ 절대 가지머셈 가더라도 양식 시키지말고 베트남 음식 드세요

극찬할 정돈 아닌것같음? 젤비싸보이는 치킨롤 ... 개뻑뻑함.. 그냥 고기들이 개뻑뻑함. 그리고 개더움 더위를 잊는맛? 절대 아님 모닝글로리는 국물이 많고 액젓향 많이남 맛있음. 팟타이같은랍스타 쏘쏘했음 가격대비 그닥..? 직원들은 친절했슨
늦은점심으로. 2시넘어서 들어갔습니다 밖에서 보니 에어컨이 없어서 들어갈까말까 5분정도 망설이다 그냥들어갓는데 화이트로제 공심체 스프링롤 가지볶음 이렇게 주문하고 음식나와서 첫입먹자마자 에어컨 없는거는 생각이 안날정도로 맛있었습니다! 다낭와서 미슐랭맛집 3군대갔는데 거기보다 더 맛있다고 느낄 정도 였습니다 (개인적은생각!) 망설이지말고 들어가서 음식한번 드셔보세요 후회는 안할듯합니다 돈 많이 버세요 사장님~^^

와 진짜 찐으로 맛있습니다ㅠㅠ 씨푸드, 화이트로즈, 모닝글로리 모두ㅠㅠ 식감부터 양념까지 기본적으로 맛의 수준이 높습니다 특히 우리 테이블의 담당이었던 sue양에게 감사드리고 싶습니다 단체석이지만 너무 아름다운 좌석에 흔쾌히 둘이 앉게 해주고 식사하는 내내 배려해줬습니다. 당연히 추천하는 가게이며 무조건 와야할 식당중 하나입니다:)!♡
섹시푸드 그자체. 호이안 오시면 꼮!!! 방문하세요!!! 소고기 찹스테이크? 랑 넴누이! 해물볶음면 이렇게 세개 먹었는데 다 너무너무 맛있었어요 진짜최고! 가격도 착하구 분위기도 좋고 안올이유가없음. 다만… 에어컨을 파워냉방으로 안틀어주셔서 땀쟁이들은 조금 힘들수잇어요 그거빼곤 완벽한 식당!
호이안 옛거리에서 접근성 좋고 갓성비 식당~~ 호이안 리조트에서 걸어 갈만한 거리라 여행중 유일하게 두번간곳이에요~ 메뉴 사진보다 양이 많으니 참고 하시고 완전로컬과 여행객이 자주가는 식당 중간쯤 된다고 생각하시면 됩니다. 한번쯤 가보길 추천합니다.
친구 추천을 받아 방문한 곳인데 깔끔하고 편안한 분위기의 매장이에요! 반쎄오가 맛있었고 직원분들도 친절하셨습니다ㅎㅎ 싸먹는 음식이 많은 매장답게 화장실도 깔끔하고 손씻는곳도 마련되어있어 굳!! 한국인들 입맛에 괜찮은 곳이에용
음식 다 맛있어요~아침일찍 문 연 곳이 없어서 돌아다니다 그냥 들어왔는데...어느 하나 맛없는게 없네요~싹싹 다 비웠어요~ 직원분도 엄청 친절하세요~^^
3가지 음식 모두 맛있었어요. 넴누이랑 해산물볶음면이 정말 맛있었어요! 넴누이는 사탕수수막대에 돼지고기가 꽂혀있는데 라이스페이퍼에 야채와 함께 싸먹으면 아주 맛있어요~ 해산물볶음면도 다른 곳과 다르게 면 자체도 맛있고 고급스러웠어요~ 가지요리는 튀겨진 가지를 생각했는데 찐 가지 느낌이었어요. 꼭 밥을 같이 먹어야할거같아요.
올드타운 구경하다가 사람들이 매장앞에서 사진 찍길래 들어가봤는데 결론적으로 맛있었음! 특히 여기서 먹은 반쎄오가 호이안-다낭 통틀어서 먹은것중 최고였음!! 현지인들도 많고 한국분들도 꽤 있었음! 분위기도 넘 좋고 맛도 좋고 후식으로 과일도 주고 완전 만족스러웠던 곳! 다른 곳이랑 차별화된 쌀국수도 있는데 우리나라 갈비탕 같아서 밥말아서 김치랑 먹고 싶었음! 엄마랑 갔는데 엄마도 아주 만족하셔서 가족들이랑 가시는 분들께도 완전 추천하는 곳!
아 여기 맛있었어요ㅠㅠ 넴루이? 였나? 꼬지를 라이스페이퍼와 꼬지에 싸먹는음식이 정말 독특하고 맛있었어요 그리고 자몽샐러드 진심 존맛이구요ㅠㅠ 모닝글로리도 맛있었어요 새우꼬지구이는 그냥그래요ㅋㅋ 새우꼬지는 그냥 다른곳에서 드세요ㅋㅋㅋ 근데 넴루이랑 자몽샐러드가 너무맛있었어요!! 호이안에는 맛집이 잘 없다길래 좀 걱정했는데 여기서 먹었던게 호이안에서 젤 맛있었어요 맛집없다는 호이안에서 이정도 맛집 하나 찾은것만으로도 만족스러워요ㅋㅋㅋ 생각보다 한국인은 많지않았고 외국인들이 더 많아서 놀랐어요 저는 다음에 또 호이안을 간다면 쿠바키친은 꼭 재방문할거예요 맛있었어요!!
Quán ngon, bài trí đẹp, cổ kính, yên tĩnh. Giá cao nhưng chấp nhận được. Khuyến nghị: Chỉ nên order các món địa phương. Các món Âu nấu rất tệ, đặc biệt là beefsteak thì không chấp nhận được.
2 năm trở lại vẫn ngon như vậy, nên ăn thử nem lụi và combo bánh đập hến trộn siêu ngon ❤️
Nhà hàng Việt Nam ngon nhất ở Hội An mà mình thích, lần nào về Hội An mình cũng ghé, đặc biệt là Xu, dễ thương chào đón và phục vụ tận tình. Mọi người nên ghé nha !

Wonderful experience at Chau Kitchen & Bar. Beautiful restaurant. Attentive service - staff is very helpful explaining the dishes. Banana flower & duck salad was flavorful, and the pancakes were delicious! Also a nice drinks selection, including wines.

Me and my Nanna and Mum are away in Hoi An, and on the last day my mum found this restaurant. This is such a beautiful restaurant and atmosphere. the food was amazing, best food i’ve had. It’s such a peaceful atmosphere very quiet away from the loud streets and relaxing music. I highly recommend this place
20/2/2026, 9h tối Đồ ăn ngon và đầy đặn, nhưng tất nhiên vì decor đẹp và quán cho Tây nên đắt hơn bên ngoài 30%-50%, ví dụ như cao lầu 95k và set thịt que nướng hay cơm đùi gà roti 175k. Cơm đùi gà rất ngon nhưng đặt trong cái đĩa làm rất khó cắt gà. Mì Ý sốt bò trông khá thường cả về khối lượng lần trình bày cũng không rẻ, gần 200k. Tốc độ phục vụ k lâu k nhanh, tạm được. Tuy vậy mình ngồi ăn ở phía trong gần quầy bar và sau khi gọi món đang chờ mang ra thì nhân viên cười đùa rất ồn ào ở quanh quầy bar và ở thu ngân cạnh quầy. Khách xung quanh k ồn mà nv lại ồn nên hơi khó chịu. Không gian đẹp và khá duyên dáng.
We discovered this restaurant by walking by and WOW, this food blew us away. Giang and the other waiters are so kind and explained everything in detail. The ice tea was also super delicious. Its by far the best Vietnamese food we had in our whole trip. Everything was fresh and the ambience beautiful. 10/10

I have come here 3 times a week and the best food is high-rise and Quang noodles and the staff here are friendly and cheerful. The restaurant space is spacious and clean. It's great for everyone to come over and try the food here

Pretty disappointed with this place. It says they’re open until 10:30. We arrived at 9:15, asked if they were still serving and were told yes. A man even started taking us to a table. Then, after we walked in and started sitting down, a lady comes over and tells us they’re closed. Just disappointing — messed us (9 people) around for no reason. If you’re closed, just say you’re closed instead of dragging customers in and then turning them away.

Giang heeft ons fijn geholpen. Spreekt goed Engels en erg vriendelijk. Ook het overige personeel is kundig. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en het is een mooi restaurant in een gezellig straat.

Didn’t get a chance to review this during our visit there in November 2022. My husband and I stumbled across this little gem and enjoyed one of our most memorable meals in Hoi An. The banana blossom salad had sweet and sour and savory notes that danced in my mouth. The fish in banana leaf was tender and flaky. Perfect accompaniment for a fresh tall glass of berry cocktail. Still thinking about the dishes here 3 years later! Not only is the food delish, but the atmosphere is very quint too! Until next time!

Chau Kitchen & Bar was hands down the best meal of our entire trip to Vietnam. It was so good I completely forgot to take photos — and that says everything. The kebabs and pancakes were absolutely amazing, full of flavour and beautifully prepared. We also loved the duck and the chicken cordon bleu, and even the kids were thrilled with their meals. The presentation was excellent, especially the pancake dish, with clear and helpful instructions on how to put it together, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Service was wonderful — the staff were genuinely happy, welcoming, and spoke great English. An unforgettable dining experience. If you’re in the area, do not miss Chau Kitchens.
Our waiter Duyen was very good! we had peanut allergies and it was handled very well. Most other places we have been did not understand the severity of allergies but Duyen was extremely careful and checked about each dish with the chef. The food was delicious! The Cao Lau was delicious, both with seafood and pork. The Com Dui Ga fish was really good too. We sat in the courtyard and it was open air and very serene and well decorated. Get the banana flambe!

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I tried food and drinks from local Hoi An menu, the pancake, sour spirits and grandma’s favourite and everything was delicious and the service by Giang was next level. Would eat again and would recommend.
It's a nice looking restaurant, but the food is VERY bland and tasteless. Small portions for the prices compared to 50 different choices of restaurants in Old Town. To the owner, from a professional chef: Hire a new chef to revamp your mise en place and menu. Service was good and waitress was very nice. But at the end of the day, you go to a restaurant to EAT, and it was very disappointing.

The food here is incredible!! The wontons and white roses are a must try. Service was very good and Duyen was an amazing host. Very reasonable price and sat in a lovely location looking into the street, would definitely recommend!!
Très bon endroit pour manger une cuisine traditionnelle retravaillée, mais aussi plus raffinée et "fusion". Le vin chilien était excellent. Les enfants se sont régalés et les adultes aussi! On recommande.
We had a wonderful time for dinner. The pineapple fried rice was exceptionally good. We also enjoyed the wontons and braised salmon very much among other things.
The night after having dinner there, my wife and my daughter were sick. The next day I was sick as well. Food intoxication that lasted 24h. I have been to many places in vietnam and this is the first time I am sick. We have been eating from our hotel the last days before this incident, so it is easy to know that the problem came from this establishment. I would not recommend.

Came here for lunch. Originally put off by the American style choices at the front of the menu. But flicked through and saw a lot of Vietnamese dishes we hadn't tried so we thought we'd give it a chance... Ordered the chicken and pho combo, the beef skewers with rice paper and a salad. Honestly, amazing food. So much flavour and each dish was so well seasoned and each bite was magical. The service was really good, friendly and kind and attentive. The aesthetic of the restuarant is lovely we sat at the back in a jungle garden area. Just another mention of that dish - The beef skewers in rice paper ( Bánh ưót thịt nưòng) was phenomenal. The waitress kindly showed us how to make it and it was our favourite dish. We will be ordering it again during our travels through Vietnam. Come here you won't regret it!!
Hemos ido a cenar por que tenía muy buena pinta, pero la realidad ha sido completamente diferente, éramos dos personas y pedimos 3 platos para compartir. Primero pedimos agua y preguntamos si era mineral, nos dijeron que sí cosa que luego no era (si no nos hubiéramos pedido otra cosa) el primer plato tardó una media hora en llegar que eran unos rollitos de cerdo, venían 5 y nos los acabamos en un momento, luego al cabo de media hora más nos trajeron una tortita de cerdo y gambas, ni llevaba cerdo ni gambas prácticamente, era una tortita vacía! Y luego estuvimos esperando unos 20 minutos más para el 3 plato que no llegó, les dijimos que si aún no estaba echo que no nos lo hicieran y el chico nos dijo que aún ni siquiera lo habían empezado a hacer. Nos cabreamos y les dijimos que lo cancelaran y que nos trajeran la cuenta. Vino otra chica a preguntar que había pasado y le explicamos la situación y le dijimos que ya nos queríamos el plato por qué han tardado 1 hora en ponernos 2 platos y el otro ni siquiera lo habían empezado a hacer. Nos intentó convencer y le dijimos que no que teníamos prisa y que no queremos. Nos trajo la cuenta y nos intentó colar el plato que no comimos con el pretexto de que no sabía qué plato era el que tenía que quitar y que por eso lo ha puesto todo. Nos cabreamos y al final nos lo quitó. Pero lo que no sabíamos es que en cada plato de la carta NO ES EL PRECIO REAL!! Cada plato se le tiene que sumar un 8%, y lo pone antes de abrir la carta pero claro la gente no se fija en que los precios no son reales, más luego el 3% por pagar con tarjeta! En definitiva un timo total!! Enfin servicio pésimo! No vuelvo jamás
The atmosphere here is absolutely beautiful. You feel like you're in the jungle. Everything is green and decorated with wood. You don't even have to hunt for the food yourself; it's already cooked. And it tastes wonderful. The wonderful waitress, Duyên, took great care of us. Thank you, we'd love to come back again.
We went here because of all the good reviews and it’s close proximity to the Japanese covered bridge. It was our last day in Hoi An and we were very excited to have lunch. We ordered the fried pork spring rolls, banh xeo, and stir fried cau lau. The inside of the fried spring rolls were very dry, as if it were frozen for a long time. The stir fried cau lau was bland and unseasoned. The banh xeo was very thin, with little to no ingredients inside. It was also not crispy, it was undercooked, soft, and soggy. I told the 2 waiters about our concern but they did not do anything. Honestly, we were really disappointed dining here. We spent a total of 6 days in Da Nang and Hoi An but this is the worst dining experience we had during the duration of our trip.

We had our last dinner in Hanoi at this restaurant and we couldn’t ask for better. From the dishes to the staff everything was perfect. We really recommend to stop here :)
Duyen, Son, Rin were amazing. Friendly, helpful and wonderful. The food and atmosphere was great and made our time in Hoi An extra special. I highly recommend a visit to Chau Kitchen & Bar.
We were lucky! This was our first culinary experience in Hoi An, and what a way to start. The food is a great fusion of foods, still rooted in Vietnamese flavours. Simple and tasteful. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. We will come back!

A great spot. We had a family lunch here for 10 people. The team at Châu could not have been more helpful, attentive and friendly. The food was great, the restaurant is clean, comfortable and extremely photogenic - if that is a consideration!!

A beautiful restaurant in Hoi An. We had incredible seafood with the mixed spring roll starter. The prawns were huge and delicious! The best food we have had on our trip so far
A great experience in a lovely old characteristic building in the Old Town. Some dishes were better than others. We definitely recommend the stuffed squid 🐙. All in all a great evening as a couple, we would definitely come again!

Beautiful rustic and modern classy restaurant. Friendly helpful staff, soothing relaxing instrumental dinner music, really a fantastic environment. The menu selection is absolutely incredible and everything is cooked to perfection. I had the duck breast banana flower salad, seafood Cao Lao and white rose dumplings. They have steak and lobster and fusion options too.

Fantastic food, both traditional and fusion. Combine this with a super friendly staff and you're sure to have an amazing experience. I especially recommend the mussels with cheese, as I had the time of my life with them.
Đây là lần thứ 2 mình đến đây. Lần trước đi với các đồng nghiệp còn lần này mình đi với người yêu. Tụi mình đã gọi 4 món tất cả và thú thật là hơi nhiều. Mình rất thích gỏi bò sốt me (?) và bún thịt nướng. Ngon quá trời luôn á. Không gian quán bố trí rất Việt Nam, từ bàn ghế, chén dĩa, đũa, ly,... nên rất hợp cho ai muốn dẫn bạn bè nước ngoài đến đây nè. Vì nằm trong phố cổ nên giá thành hơi cao một tí. Gần 500k cho bữa ăn này. Nhưng có một cái mình không thích lắm là cách bố trí bàn ghế của quán chưa tạo được sự thoải mái cho lắm. Khoảng cách các bàn ăn rất gần nhau, nên đi đứng ko để ý thì dễ quơ bể đồ lắm. Bàn cũng không quá rộng, nên nếu bạn đi 02 người nhưng gọi nhiều món thì nên cân nhắc đổi bản lớn hơn. Nhưng nói chung tụi mình vẫn rất hài lòng, và lần sau quay lại mình sẽ thử món khác 🥰
Bánh xèo Hội An: tương đối ngon, 8/10 Mì Quảng tôm càng: với mình thấy hơi nhạt, 7/10 thôi Rau muống xào: ngon, đậm đà 9/10 Mẹt nướng Châu Thị: ngon 9/10 Canh bầu và Hoành thánh: ngon xuất sắc 10/10 => đồ ăn về cơ bản là ngon nha, tuy nhiên cá nhân mình cảm thấy các bạn nhân viên hơi chậm, tổng thể trừ 1đ nha
What a gem of a place. Absolutely fantastic. From beginning to end, this was our best dining experience we‘ve had in over 2 ½ weeks in the Hoi An area. And we had visited numerous places, from budget-friendly to fine dining. But this restaurant tops them all. We had a starter combo, the seafood platter, a stir fry main, two exquisite shakes and two desserts and all was off the charts. A big thank you to Sue and the team, who made us feel super welcome and were really authentically friendly. This is how it should be done. Absolute recommendation. A pity we discovered this place on our last day. Thanks once again.
On a adoré ce restaurant en plein centre de Hoi An ! La soupe de crevettes porc était une vraie tuerie 😍 — parfumée, généreuse, et la portion parfaite pour bien commencer le dîner. Ensuite, les brochettes de porc… incroyablement goûteuses, fondantes, pleines de saveur ! Les aubergines ont été une très belle surprise, un vrai coup de cœur ❤️ Et les nems, croustillants et savoureux, rien à redire. Petit bémol pour le soja frit, un peu moins waouh comparé au reste, mais franchement, le reste du repas faisait largement oublier ce détail. 👉 En résumé : un service rapide, une équipe adorable, des plats faits avec amour et du goût à chaque bouchée. Je recommande à 1000 % ! 🌿🇻🇳
Un restaurante de calidad con típicos platos de Hoi An, con unos sabores riquísimos. La camarera Sue fue muy amable y tuvo un trato muy cercano; tanto que le pedí la receta de los dos platos que comí y me la dio con mucho gusto. Un precio muy asequible. Repetiría sin duda!

Had a great experience at Chau kitchen this evening. The space is beautiful and presentations of everything was also stunning. The restaurant is conveniently located near tourist attractions. The food was good and so were the drinks. Would recommend!

Food was good. But I wondered. I wanted to sit down near their front but we ended up on the back of the restaurant. Is there a discrimination? We were told to transfer and sit at the back and I dont know why. We were just quiet and hungry. Food is still good. Will always go back for the white rose delicacy, if I have the chance to go back to Vietnam again. I always share this restaurant to friends. Can remember the taste of white rose. Now I miss it.
I’m so happy we found here! So much variety! Great meals for pescatarians and vegetarians. The seafood platter was excellent! The veggie wantons were crunchy and delicious. Sue was lovely and the atmosphere is really nice. I might come back tomorrow!
Another excellent restaurant in Old Town. Probably 1 of the best menus I have seen this visit with lots of great choices. I need to go back again to try more dishes. Cool restaurant with a good atmosphere. It was full capacity when we went there, staff were a bit hard to get at 1st, but took our order and food was delivered in good time. Staff were friendly, but a bit busy. Definitely worth a visit for great Vietnamese food.
No podíamos haber elegido mejor opción para cenar en un lugar céntrico pero a la vez tranquilo. El servicio de 10 y la comida no podía estar más buena. Elegimos el pato con ensalada (foto) y 10/10. También probamos el los noodles de pollo con salsa de cacahuete y ha sido, sin duda, una de las mejores comidas de todo el viaje.

Disappointed by the food here. The chicken skewer I had was tough, especially at the ends. Can't think of the last time I had chicken that bad. The fried rice was ok, but I've definitely had better. The place itself is nice inside, and it is quiet, which made for a nice reprieve from the crowds at night in Hoi An. We definitely ate at nicer places during our stay.

Easily one of our favourite meals in our trip to Vietnam, loved every dish. The menu is huge and everything is delicious. Good cocktails too. Staff were lovely and the vibes are great.
We had a beautiful evening and dinner at Châu The Tofu Salt & Chili, Soft Shell Crab and Bo Luc Lac were amazing! We had a airy table outside and enjoyed the view on the lively street while having our food.
What a beautiful and serene restaurant. Menu offers traditional, fusion, meat, fish and vegetarian/vegan sumptuous options. I chose a seafood and aubergine/eggplant clay pot bake. It was smooth, tasty and more than a generously dish for one with the rice. But I added the morning glory with garlic which was a perfect side dish. And Chau has perfect staff service.
The food was amazing!! We had such a good experience here. The service was great and it was exactly what we needed after a long shopping day at Hoi An. If you order the Bun Thit Nuong, they pour a peanut sauce over it instead of fish sauce. So let them know if you prefer the fish sauce instead. The peanut sauce was still delicious though :-)
It is located at No.141 Tran Phu street, Hoi An town. The restaurant is very nice and has many kinds of dishes. This is the first time I came to here! Recommend!!!

Tuyen met us at the door and took wonderful care of for the next hour or so! She is kind and attentive and gave great recommendations! We truly enjoyed the food here ... We shared a pork and shrimp platter. Building our own spring rolls was fun and they were superb! We started with a fried vegetable roll simply because it looked like it was wrapped in vermicelli instead of a rice paper .. And it was delicious. And they have a nice French red wine on the menu...a rareity n Vietnam. The atmosphere here is brilliant...carved wooden chairs... quiet music...loved it!

Buena calidad y sobre todo servicio muy bueno. La primera vez nos gusto mucho y hemos repetido. En ambas ocasiones nos ha servido la misma chica, Tuyen, y la verdad que es un encanto. De los platos que probamos recomendaria en especial el arroz de setas y el smoothie de mango que estaba espectacular.
Totally love the food at Chau!!! Staff were so friendly and it was so good that every guest that were standing at the entrance looking through the menu was told by me that it is super good!!! And everyone that I said that came in!!!! Will definitely come back again when I visit Hoi An next time!!!!

I wouldn’t usually review even though I love food…this was the best culinary experience I have had in Vietnam, and up there with the top three meals I have eaten. The cocktails were like no other…tarty tasting with local herbs and flavours. The food, some traditional or “expected” with usual Vietnamese restaurants and other stuff just phenomenal. It took me of a taste journey I’m still thinking of days later. I purchased five different dishes and all were well worth it.
Loved the atmosphere / vibe here so was excited for this one. The food was lacking though…the Hoi A local dish was so bland and had such a small amount of protein. I ended up adding a lot of chili sauce and soy sauce to get some flavor. The dishes look so good but flavor wise we were disappointed. The saving grace was the very garlic/ buttery morning glory.
Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Lokal mit super aufmerksamem Service. Das Essen ist etwas teurer als in den meisten Restaurants. Das ist aber durch die bessere Qualität gerechtfertigt. Auf der Rechnung werden uneleganterweise automatisch 5% für den Service addiert. Dafür kann ohne Aufpreis mit Kreditkarte bezahlt werden.
Food is as beautiful as the restaurant itself and everything we ordered was delicious! This is definitely a must-visit for trying out some Vietnamese food! Some food have longer wait times than others but the wait is very much worth it!
Unser Tipp gleich am Anfang: Man sollte nicht sein Lieblingsgericht von seinem vietnamesischen Lieblingsrestaurant in seiner Heimatstadt in einem anderen Restaurant bestellen! Da kann das andere Restaurant eigentlich nur verlieren. Die Qualität des Essens war enttäuschend. Aber dazu später mehr... Wir sind auf Grund der guten Bewertungen zu CHÂU Kitchen & Bar gekommen. Auch wenn das Preisniveau um einiges höher war, als in den anderen hoch bewerteten Restaurants in Hoi An. Die Inneneinrichtung ist wunderschön und sehr stilvoll. Der Service kann nur als geschäftsmäßig bezeichnet werden. Die Getränke kamen nach einer gewissen Wartezeit. Bei den beiden Fruchtsäften mit Eis war das nicht weiter störend. Das Bier aus der Flasche wurde, erstmals in Vietnam, nicht am Tisch geöffnet, sondern kam offen und sehr warm an den Tisch. Für ein "Restaurant & Bar" keine Werbung mehr Getränke als nötig zu bestellen. Störend empfanden wir, dass die Hauptspeisen bereits serviert wurden, während wir die Vorspeisen noch nicht einmal zur Hälfte gegessen hatten. Das Cao Lau gehört leider nicht zu den besseren von Hoi An. Das geschmorte Schweinefleisch ist ziemlich zäh, die Limettenhälfte schien mit den Reisnudeln, dem Fleisch und der Sauce zusammen erhitzt worden zu sein. Das Bun Bo Nam Bo, eins unserer absoluten Lieblingsgerichte bei "unserem" Hamburger Vietnamesen, kann im CHÂU nur als langweilig und ungewürzt bezeichnet werden. Vor allem weil die Abbildung in der Menükarte des CHÂU eigentlich nichts mit dem tatsächlich an den Tisch gebrachten Schüsseln zutun hatte. Es fehlten komplett alle Kräuter und die Erdnüsse! Dafür gab es überreichlich Eisbergsalat dazu, der sehr gut die Geschmacksarmut des Gerichtes ergänzte. Selbst die auf dem Tisch stehende Sojasauce konnte dieses bescheidene Gericht nicht mehr retten. Auch das hier verwendete Rindfleisch war ungewöhnlich zäh und trocken. Mehrfaches läuten einer elektronischen Glocke brachten uns dann auf die Spur! Da die hinteren Tische im Restaurant einen guten Blick in die offene Küche offenbarten, sahen wir den Grund, warum das Fleisch so zäh war. Denn offensichtlich wurden die vorbereiteten Speisen in mehreren Mikrowellengeräten aufgewärmt. Mir ist neu, dass die Mikrowelle als Standardkochgerät jetzt Einzug in die mittlere bis gehobene Gastronomie gehalten hat. Diese Aufwärmpraxis erklärte dann auch, warum die Hauptspeisen so kurz nach den frittierten Vorspeisen kamen. Die frittierten Frühlingsrollen sind im Vergleich zu den anderen Hoi An-Restaurants eher untere Tabellenhälfte. Sie erinnerten sehr stark an Bratwurst in Filo-Teig und hatten wenig mit denen gemeinsam, die in der Menükarte des CHÂU abgebildet waren. Die frittierten Wantans mit dem Tomaten-Paprika-Kompott waren auch erstaunlich ungewürzt für ein vietnamesisches Restaurant. Nachdem unsere Hauptspeisen abgeliefert waren, wurde unser Tisch, obwohl direkt gegenüber von der Bar und der Kasse, nicht weiter beachtet. Selbst wenn wir gewollt hätten, wäre eine Nachbestellung von Getränken schwierig geworden. Unsere Tischkellnerin war sehr stark mit dem Falten und Nachfüllen von Papierserviettenboxen beschäftigt. In Restaurants mit weniger hohen Preisen und einem erheblich aufmerksameren Service gab es Stoffservietten in Hoi An. Nachdem wir uns beim Service bemerkbar gemacht hatten, bekamen wir unsere Rechnung, die immerhin mit Debit-Karte beglichen werden konnte. Für 2 Vorspeisen, 3 nicht sonderlich aufwändige Hauptgerichte, zwei Säfte und ein Bier haben wir 635.000 VND bezahlt, also die 200.000 VND-Grenze pro Person geknackt. Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass eine wunderschöne Einrichtung alleine noch kein gutes Restaurant ausmacht.
Eine schöne Oase an einer der belebten Fußgängerzonen in Hoi An. Hier hielten wir für ein kleines Mittagessen und probierten lokale Küche. Sehr angenehm dezente Musik bei leckerem Essen im Schatten. Man kann dem Treiben zusehen und einen Gang runterschalten. Klare Empfehlung

Nettes Restaurant mitten in der Altstadt Hanoi! Es gibt eine große Karte mit vietnamesischen Gerichten mit Bildern von allen Speisen! Das fand ich sehr gut! Wir bestellten Frühlingsrollen und White Rise Dumplings als Vorspeisen und den Mango Chicken Salat und Hähnchen Skewers als Hauptspeisen. Das Essen war alles gut, aber jetzt nicht herausragend! Die Gerichte haben wir nach unserem Geschmack in anderen Restaurants auch schon besser gegessen. Der Service war einwandfrei! ☺️
Menú muy completo, estuve muy tentado a pedirme un combo pero al final escogí noodles con pollo y mi amigo noodles con langostino y fueron dos grandes aciertos. El servicio genial y el ambiente excelente. Totalmente recomendable.

I’ve been in a lot of places in my life and in a lot of restaurants. I think this restaurant is one of the best restaurants you can eat in Vietnam…it’s truly remarkable the food quality here. Definitely a must try in Hoi An!!

Mussels were amazing, and squid as well. The fish was very nicely flavored. The shrimp was good, but not great. I had better ones in different restaurants here. Overall, the presentation on the plate was great. The only thing that I did not fancy was the color choice for the seats.

Đồ ăn thật tuyệt vời, không gian rất sạch sẽ và gọn gàng. Trang trí rất đẹp, nhân viên rất thân thiện. Chúng tôi đã trả 725k cho một đĩa khai vị, chả giò tươi tự chọn, một đĩa cá tuyệt vời và hai ly trà đá/sinh tố thơm ngon. Thật đáng đồng tiền bát gạo!!

Superb vibes and fantastic food!! Firstly, the drinks were so refreshing (Hibiscus & Mulberry Tea) in the sweltering heat that we had during our visit. The food was really good too - we had the grilled chicken, appetiser platter and grilled fish! Love everything we had!
Good ambience, friendly staff, but food was not great. Visited around 1pm on a Sunday. Food was not very flavorful and the chicken was tough in some parts. Fair prices. We ordered their recommended grilled chicken dish & we’re just disappointed since the reviews were so high. Perhaps we came on an off day. However, delicious mulberry tea & awesome presentation of dishes! 👍🏼
Real treasure in the heart ❤️ of Old Town. Usually in very touristical areas, the really good 👍 and original restaurants are rare , but rhis a nice exception. great cuisine, completely authentic and original, and greatly prepared by very nice girls staff, with a smile constantly made sure that everything was arranged
It was a GREAT experience dining here. So good that we asked the chef to give us a cooking class the next day. The manager & owner, Trang took us to the local market to buy the ingredients and then we returned to the restaurant to prepare our food under the chef’s guidance and supervision. Super service and great result. All staff extremely nice. Thank you Chau!

Tourist review: The food was not bad, but nothing special. Their seafood cao lau only had a few pieces of shrimp and squid in it, I was not very impressed by that. Although like the other review said, the orange juice was actually delicious. The decor, ambience, and staff were amazing though.
M đi lần đầu vào lúc tết ta, lúc đó cả nước đang dịch nên Hội An c~ ko đông gì mấy, m đi ngang và thấy cách trang trí của quán rất đặc biệt, phải gọi là rất có mắt thẩm mỹ. Vào bên trong quán có nhiều cảnh decor theo kiểu xưa cũ. Menu theo m thấy giá ko quá mắc, đồ ăn cực kỳ vừa miệng mình luôn á, m là người Sài Gòn, nhưng khẩu vị m ăn rất lạt, nên chắc có thể là m hợp với đồ ăn của miền Trung chăng, quán có nước dâu tằm uống rất vừa miệng ko quá ngọt. Nói chung là 2 lần gần nhất đến Hội An m đều ghé quán ăn hết… cho quán 5 sao vì từ cách trang trí đến đồ ăn và phong cách phục vụ rất hài lòng m nè.
