Sand 호텔 부근에 식당을 알아보다가 집사람이 찾은곳. 경찰서 옆 골목으로 들어가야 하는데 가게이름이 나무에 가려서 찾기가 조금 어려웠습니다. 채식식당이구요. 고기가 들어가는 메뉴는 주로 두부로 대체를 했더라구요. 간도 쎄지 않고 맛있었습니다. 일반 가정집 분위기구요. 부부가 하시는거 같은데 음식에 정성이 보였습니다. 관광지 자극적인 음식이 아니고 섬섬한 가정식 느낌입니다. 샌드호텔에서 아주 가까워요.
Замечательное место! Я был в другом ресторане, и просто влюбился в еду и атмосферу! А посетив это место понял что мое сердце теперь принадлежит этим заведениям! Бесподобная еда, замечательный сервис, очень теплое и радушное отношение! Мечта где чувствуешь мир и покой и вдобавок наслаждаешься божественной пищей!

Không gian trong vườn cây xanh mát được lát sỏi trắng rất là thích luôn. Hai bác chủ cũng là đầu bếp rất thân thiện. Đồ ăn thì ngon xuất sắc. Có lẽ hai bác đã mang có cả tấm lòng của mình vào đồ ăn nên mới ngon như vậy. Mình sẽ quay lại lần sau!!!

Tucked away in a local hem / alley, this is such a special place they have created in their home. To see “mum and dad” working together while reading the beautifully written menu, the chanting as a backdrop and Thich Nhat Than on the wall - it actually made me all emotional. And the food was delicious! We will be back!
Une ambiance très chaleureuse, on se sent comme à la maison! La nourriture est excellente! On a pris le burger de tempeh, les bao buns et le tempeh banh mi avec le golden milk, et deux smoothies (green et golden) : 10/10! Merci!
Just come back from an amazing lunch over there, it was really special… the food, the family, the atmosphere. It’s been a while that im travelling in Vietnam and I love this country, but sometimes is taking your energy… like at the market or in the street food when many people jump on you… And coming here; receiving a smile, silence, gentle people and great home made food was really important for me.. as a solo traveler. That’s what we need in life, simple things… and a smiles are so important to see! Thanks Chickpea Eatery, you gonna stay in my Vietnam’s memories ! Ciao ciao🌻
Hands down the best vegan food I have eaten in Vietnam!! Thank you sooo sooo much for the hospitality and for recommending the best items from the menu! Our favorite was the Banh Mi and the Bun Cha was also very very good. The amalgamation of all the flavors - from sesame to peanut - was perfect!! We're soo sooo happy and so grateful that we came here for our wedding anniversary dinner ❤️❤️🤗 extremely homely place!
We have been traveling through Vietnam for over two weeks, and today we had by far the best food so far. Wow – we are in love! Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the atmosphere was something truly special. A lovely couple welcomes their guests into their own living room and serves them with so much care and love. You can feel the passion and heart in every detail. An unforgettable experience. i literally am writing this while i still sit here. i never ever want to forget this meal. i walked in and asked for a seat. the mum replied that the noodle soup was good today and asked if i wanted one. i said yes please. and that soup was the best thing I have maybe eaten in my entire life. maybe it’s because i’m home sick but a home made meal is the best and I felt right at home. what a lovely place.

Bestes veganes vietnamesisches Essen! Man sitzt bei netten Ambiente im Wohnzimmer der Besitzerin und des Besitzers, die sehr nett sind. Die Portionen sind recht klein, also einfach mehrere bestellen! Alles ist einfach köstlich!
The best food, that I have had in years. So tasty and so light on the body. You can tell the high quality of Mom's and Dad's cooking skills. They serve only 10 different dishes, but they all taste amazing.

This is a lovely little restaurant ran by a nice lady. It looks more like a living room than a commercial restaurant. Very local in a neighborhood. She is very nice and the food is wonderful and a good price. I do recommend this place highly if you want tasty plant based food.
After eating at Chickpea Eatery in Hoi An, we had to go to where it all started! So delicious and nourishing. Would come back a million times.

A home, not just a restaurant A husband-and-wife team cooking right in front of you. We had the crispy spring rolls with salad and the Hoi An-style cao lầu. Spring rolls had great crunch, and the tofu was the closest thing to paneer I’ve found away from home. Soft noodles, clean flavors. We shared no common language with the owners, but it didn’t matter — smiles and gestures got us through just fine. Came for vegan food, left feeling like we’d been invited into someone’s kitchen.
Essen im Wohnzimmer eines vietnamesischen Ehepaares - einzigartig! Es gibt eine kleine, aber sehr schön und individuell gestaltete Speisekarte. Wir haben das Ban Xeo sowie die Bao Buns bestellt und waren begeistert vom Geschmack. Die beiden Buns waren sehr klein, davon wird ein normaler Erwachsener leider nicht satt (und es war nicht erkennbar, dass es eher eine Vorspeise ist). Ambiente ist wirklich toll, Restaurant liegt leicht versteckt, aber die Nachbarn wussten sofort, wo wir hinwollten ;) Google Translate von Vorteil, da kaum Englischkenntnisse vorhanden.
As someone from Hanoi, I appreciate how affordable this is conpared to vegan food there. I highly recommend the golden milk as it truly nourishes me with delicious flavors and warm spices. Although the burger has a toasty bun, I feel like the portion can be a bit small for someone who eats it as a meal. I enjoyed the warm vibe of the senior owners and gazing at the koi pond. 💡📚Learn Vietnamese or English 1-1 with an 8.5 IELTS, American graduate teacher who worked in New York with TESOL certificate at @marialinguist
This café is simply amazing! It’s hidden inside a residential building, and the kind owners cook their signature dishes just for you, which creates such a special, home-like feeling. I absolutely loved the spring rolls with peanut sauce, the turmeric latte, and their signature sandwich — everything was so delicious. The atmosphere is very cozy and warm, I truly enjoyed being there and would love to come back again.
Such a cute, family run restaurant. The portions aren’t massive, but they are reasonably priced! The loveliest service and you can see how much the family love and care for what they do. If you have a chance, do stop by and visit. Definitely made us do a happy dance!!

Au fond d'une petite ruelle, sur le mur le nom du restau, il faut encore faire quelques pas pour arriver dans une petite cour cachée à l'ambiance si paisible. On se sent comme à la maison. Une pépite je confirme!

Qué lugar increíble. Llegué muy temprano de casualidad después de un laaargo y cansador viaje en bus, y el ambiente y su comida me recompuso el alma. Mom's es una linda. La comida exquisita. Y qué agrado escuchar la cascadita del jardín mientras todo lo demás está en silencio. Un lugar precioso y acogedor.

Very cosy, family owned restaurant that really feels like mom’s kitchen - because it literally is. Owners live here, cook right beside you and are happy to invite you in their warm home. It was a very long time since last time i felt this childish anticipation of a dinner made by my mom, and i felt it again here as an adult. Everything was very delicious, even tofu which i usually don’t really like :)
A great vegan food experience! The food was very tasty and well priced - there was a wide variety of local Vietnamese food to try and each meal was a good size/portion. The elderly couple who run the place are lovely and extremely friendly. I can't recommend Chickpea Eatery enough... we're even considering doing one of their vegan cooking classes it was that nice!
First off: The food was amazing. It was one of the best meals we’ve had in Vietnam and we were thankful that they were fully vegan (sometimes vegetarian and vegan are confused in translated menus) and we didn’t have to worry about any ingredients we didn’t want in our foods. And the atmosphere is also very special - sitting in the family’s living room is something else in a good way. They were kind and welcoming. Lucky this was right around the corner from our hotel! 10/10 would recommend - we visited their city branch later on during our trip.
What a beautiful and serene outdoor seating area. The food was so flavourful and perfectly balanced. The family is so precious working as a team to give us an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend the iced Vietnamese coffee, Boa Buns, and Vietnamese pancake. It was a perfect spot for brunch.
So so so good! Must try even if your not vegan or vegetarian which I am not. All the food was full of flavour! I really enjoyed this place and will be back. The couple that run it too are so nice!

Świetne miejsce! Bardzo szybka obsługa i fenomenalne jedzenie. Zamówiliśmy kilka głównych dań i każde było bardzo pyszne. Na co dzień jem mięso, ale takie miejsca sprawiają, że jestem w niebie. Gorąco polecam :)
Przepyszne domowe jedzenie!!! Najlepsze jakie do tej pory jadłam w Wietnamie, a jesteśmy tu już 10 dni więc trochę popróbowalismy. Dodam, że oboje jesteśmy mięsożercami 😅

Wir haben das Restaurant zufällig entdeckt und das war ein sehr guter Zufall. Das Ambiente ist einfach schön und entspannend, die Gastgeber sind unfassbar freundlich und geben einem das Gefühl willkommen zu sein. Das Essen ist auch super lecker und mit Liebe gemacht. Der Preis ist absolut fair und lädt zum Wiederkommen ein.
We had lunch in this lovely place and had the best of times! The concept is so wonderful and we were received as if we were visiting a friends home. The food is of course delicious and the garden peaceful and inviting. Totally recommend it! :)

Definitely had the HAPPY FOOD DANCE after eating such delicious food! One of the best meals I had in Vietnam. The family is so cute and their meals are cooked with love. The portions might not be the biggest but here goes quality over quantity. I can highly recommend the Hoi An Style Noodles. The sauce, the tofu and the mushrooms - everything worked so well together! lovely relaxing atmosphere and cozy living room! Also the style of menu is perfect! Thank you for the meal
i seriously feel all these 5 star reviews for this place are absolutely misleading. comparing other vegan eateries nearby i don't feel this was a good value for money choice, even though it is not a pricy restaurant. fried green veggies in oil and garlic - morning glory or water spinach: seriously the worsed version i ever had in south east asia in years. this was a clear zero star choice. drowned in so so oil, small portion, chewy. burger: very small, good bbq sauce, modest black bean dominated paste - which is not crispy at all, basic decoration, ok bread. definitely not among the top 50 vegan burgers i had before. a falafel burger would be a better option on the menu. you can do amazing things with chickpeas, but unfortunately you don't really find great chickpea options on the menu. fried sweet potatoes: zero salt which is healthy, not crispy, 5 slices of a good sweet potato. maybe the few other options on the menu are better choices, or the dream team in the kitchen had a bad day. positives: owners (husband and wife) are nice persons, food is on the clean side, ok atmosphere.
The cutest place where you’re invited into the loveliest couple’s home. It’s cozy and tasty. The food feels like a warm hug. We liked it so much that we ordered more to go to have for dinner that same day. Don’t be surprised that leading to the restaurant is a small side street.

Best banh mi I’ve had in Vietnam. Pro-tip: order the vegan cheese and add it to your banh mi, soo good! We tried the miso and black garlic cheese, both were delicious.

We ate here twice during our stay and can 100% recommend it! It’s a very cozy place run by an older couple in their own home, and we felt so warmly welcomed. The menu is small, but we tried almost everything — and every single dish was absolutely delicious.

This is by far my favourite restaurant…. In the entire world. While the other two Chickpea locations obviously have incredible food, Mom’s Kitchen is just so comforting and special. You truly feel taken care of and it feels like a privilege to be eating in the family’s living room. Thank you for such a beautiful experience ❤️ (And the food is the best vegan food I have ever eaten!!)
What a find; like guests in someone’s home, we were treated to what felt like the most authentic vegan Vietnamese cuisine we’ve eaten in our two week Vietnamese holiday. The food looked and tasted so good, we ate it all way before we could take a photograph. Hidden down an alley, such a cute little courtyard with fish. Will come back here for sure the next time we’re in Da Nang.
What a special gem!! Mom's kitchen really is mom's kitchen! The sweetest couple hosts you in the living room and garden of their home, they cook all the food together and on the spot so it's really fresh and delicious and 100% vegan. The atmosphere is so relaxed with the sound of the fountain and quiet Buddhist chants in the background 😊 Do yourselves a favor and visit this beautiful restaurant while you are in Da nang (even if you are a carnivore like me)
Nous avons voulu tester après avoir vu les bons commentaires et nous n’étions pas déçu. Notre premier restaurant au Vietnam et honnêtement nous avons adoré 😋 nous nous sommes régalés, avec ces différentes saveurs. Les propriétaires ont été très gentils . quang cảnh đẹp, tự nhiên, gần gũi nhưng vì trong ngõ nên mình tìm hơi lâu, từ bên ngoài nhìn vào có những đồ xung quanh còn cũ kỹ, gia đình mình đã tưởng chuyển đi. bản thân mình có ấn tượng sâu sắc với quán bởi sự giản dị, đồ ăn vừa miệng nhưng còn hơi mặn và nhiều dầu thừa, đồ uống và đồ ăn chính còn hơi ít nên mình mong sẽ thêm bia và nước ngọt có đường, không đường hay sữa đậu nành cũng như khi có nhà có trẻ nhỏ đến ăn. chỗ ngồi trên những tấm chăn thảm cần được thay mới, thêm đèn cho quán ăn sáng, nhưng không cần quá nhiều, vẫn còn những con kiến đỏ bò vào chân khi ngồi ngoài sẽ khiến người ăn khó chịu. như trên đồ ăn vẫn còn nhiều thiếu xót nhưng mình mong bài đánh giá này sẽ giúp quán ăn cải thiện hơn. nếu quán còn chưa đủ kinh tế để thay mới thì cũng có thể mua mấy cái bảng nhựa phấn để bên cạnh cửa vào để dễ nhận ra quán cho khách hàng ạ!!!
We had spring rolls, burger, noodles and golden milk. All of it was just awesome. We were beyond thrilled to have this amazing food here. We were not expecting it such tasty vegan food in Da nang and were in search of a good vegetarian place and came across this cafe on google. I’m so glad we visited it. This has to be one of the best cafés in the Vietnam. Lots of love to the elderly couple who runs this cafe. 💗
The place is beautiful, and the food is even better. We were a group of 4 people and we ordered almost the entire menu and all of it was AMAZING. All the dishes were different flavors and delicious.
Das liebevoll eingerichtete Restaurant ist eine richtige Oase! Es liegt etwas versteckt, aber die Nachbarn wussten sofort, wo wir hin wollten. Das Essen ist sehr, sehr lecker und auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Wir hatten Pfannkuchen, Burger, Frühlingsrollen. Wir waren etwas spät dran und wurden trotzdem mit sehr viel Freundlichkeit empfangen. Familiäre Herzlichkeit in der Ferne.
Eine tolle Erfahrung für jeden Besucher. Einzigartige Erfahrung im „Wohnzimmer“ der Inhaber zu essen. Geschmacklich können wir das Banh Xeo nur empfehlen. Auch die anderen Gerichte waren gut, allerdings nicht herausragend. Irritiert waren wir von den „Smoothies“, denn das waren eher Nachtische. Auch das Wasser hat hat sehr nach Chlor geschmeckt. Da haben wir am Ende eigenes Wasser getrunken. Trotzdem sollte man es einfach probieren!

This is the best place to eat in Da Nang - a must visit! The family that runs this place is very sweet and they are lovely hosts. The mom is super warm and even though you don't understand each other, you speak the language of smiles and thank yous. The food is brilliant - every dish we had was amazing. The ban xeo and bahn mi are the best in town. You can taste the love in each preparation. Wish I had more time in Da Nang to visit again and eat the dishes I missed!! Will come again soon.
Went for lunch today and was received in a relaxing garden by a beautiful family in their family home. The food was colorful, tasty, fresh, and inviting with traditional flavors and heartwarming taste. The chickpea family themselves are no different and cook with their hearts, spreading thoughtful and inspiring vegan food. Price was more than reasonable for the experience and I left filling satiated to a local beach recommended by Lam of the chickpea family.

This was one of my favourite parts of my Vietnam trip. Being a vegetarian I'm usually not able to try out most local foods but this place gave me a chance to try out those local Vietnamese flavours while serving Vegan meals. The vibe and atmosphere are amazing. The owners are very sweet and passionate. Would highly recommend coming here.

My partner and I were blown away by everything we tried – the fresh spring rolls, crispy spring rolls, the protein burger, and the sweet potato fries were all sensational. Perfect for sharing and bursting with flavour down to the very last bite. This small, husband-and-wife run spot offers truly epic Vietnamese hospitality in tranquil, homely surroundings. You do not have to be vegan or vegetarian to enjoy the food at Chickpea Eatery. We came here on a Sunday afternoon and found the place clean and inviting. It is off the beaten path in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts were friendly and helpful even though we cannot communicate well. We ordered the Protein Burger, Sweet Potato Fries, Bún Cha Gio, Golden Milk, and the Green Smoothie. It’s a peaceful and relaxing place to enjoy your meal. Everything was delicious, plentiful, prepared well and well presented too. This is a unique wonderful place! They also have WiFi.
Me and my boyfriend visited and we instantly fell in love with the concept! The place felt so cosy and welcoming, like a home away from home. The food was some of the best Vietnamese food we have had, so full of flavour and really does feel like mums cooking. The owners were so friendly and kind and even gave us some freebies to take away. Really nice place! The vegan food was amazing, and the pair running the place were very warm and welcoming. We even got shown how to eat the pancakes properly, since we hadn't had them before :) Loved the sauce that came with the pancakes and the coffee too. Definitely recommend!

Service war sehr gut und schnell. Das Essen war super lecker 10/10! Es war leider unser letzter Abend, sonst wären wir nochmals gekommen.

Hôm nay tôi đi cùng chồng. Đồ ăn rất ngon, ngoại trừ phần đậu phụ trong nem cuốn. Bên trong có hai loại đậu phụ — một loại mềm hơn, còn loại kia thì khô và chúng tôi không thích loại khô đó lắm. Nhưng nhìn chung thì mọi thứ đều rất ngon. Cô chủ quán rất dễ thương và thân thiện! Chúng tôi đã trả 220.000 cho 2 phần nem cuốn, 2 ly nước cam và 1 phần bánh bao. Cô chủ chỉ nhận tiền mặt, điều này hơi buồn vì chúng tôi muốn thanh toán bằng mã QR. Nhưng cô ấy đã giảm giá cho chúng tôi 20.000, điều đó thật sự rất dễ chịu. Chúng tôi dự định sẽ quay lại sớm để trả lại phần giảm giá, vì đây là một nơi rất tuyệt vời với không khí ấm cúng!

If you want a peaceful, immersive, local dining experience, chickpea’s Mom’s kitchen is a must visit. The sweet couple and their daughters had turned their loving living room and garden to a cozy dining room. You can see how the food is made while being cleansed mentally with the gentle Buddhist chanting in the background. The food itself is really tasty, fresh, and healthy (better than most non-vegan food even). Mind you, after this experience you might become a regular here. They also have another spot which has a proper restaurant setting that serves a more expanded menu if you enjoy their cozy family food as much as I did.
CONFESSION: I'm that person who rolls their eyes at vegan restaurants. But Chickpea Eatery… Mind. BLOWN. Those bao buns. They're not just good-for-vegan. They're good-period. Like, "order-another-round-immediately" good. And the fresh spring rolls with that house-made peanut sauce? I may have licked the plate. (No witnesses, no proof.) The family running this cozy Da Nang gem treats you like you've been friends forever. Not in that fake-restaurant way. In that "come-sit-in-our-living-room" way that makes you want to stick around. Bottom line: If you think vegan food = boring rabbit food, Chickpea Eatery is about to wreck your assumptions in the most delicious way possible.
Every single item on the menu is absolutely delicious. The owners/cooks are super friendly and this place is super cute and cosy! We ate there for almost every meal while we were staying in Da nang for a week. It’s our favorite restaurant so far in Vietnam! My favorite things were the bánh xèo (pancake) and bún chả giò (noodles with tofu and veggies), the banh mi (with tempeh) and the fresh spring rolls. Everything here tastes so so fresh. The tofu, the sauces and the veggies are all sooo delicious. The pancake was perfectly crispy but still had the texture of a pancake. It’s been my favorite bánh xèo in Vietnam so far (I find that in other restaurants it always gets so fried it becomes actually hard and super oily). There’s a secret dessert that’s not in the menu but people have been posting pictures of it, it’s a homemade chocolate and banana ice-cream topped with coconut and peanuts. It costs 65 000 dong. It was pretty good! We just showed the picture from other reviews and asked for it. Greatly recommend this place, it’s just the best!!

This was the most wholesome restaurant experience I have ever had. I wasn’t sure it was open at first when my grab driver dropped me off but it is just tucked away making the location so peaceful with Buddhist music playing on the tv and a small waterfall in the background :) The menu is short and sweet with the restaurants backstory in it as well :) The banh xeo was delightful and so fun to make your own rolls. I loved the atmosphere so much, the little messages here and there, the Wi-Fi rocks, and sitting on cushions on the ground. It was all my vibe and I hope you all give it a try too! Mums kitchen by chickpeas eatery Bep cua ma was the most amazing home and restaurant. It is owned by the most wonderful couple with a beautiful garden with a fish pond . Food was so delicious and a peaceful and wonderful atmosphere. A must visit in Da-nang! We will be back tomorrow for more loving food.

Wow! What a great place to eat. Having read the fantastic reviews we decided to have an early dinner. We were welcomed inside the family home by Mom. The menu cleverly detailed their story along with the food on offer. The 2 of us decided to share fresh spring rolls, Vietnamese pancakes, Vietnamese baguette, sweet potato fries and golden milk. We could watch everything being prepared in their kitchen. It was absolutely delicious and good value. Definitely the best meal during our week touring Vietnam.

Vegan/Vego foodie heaven down an alley. We visited Mom’s kitchen today for lunch as we knew we’d be in Da Nang for the day and we were so glad we did. The little garden oasis and the lovely smiles of “Mom & Dad” were such a welcome balm amongst the hustle and noise of the city. Their menu held all the Hoi An favourites so we weren’t short on choices and pretty much ordered one of everything. The food was piping hot, so so delicious and satisfying we felt nourished right down to our souls. Please go and eat here even if you’re not vegan/vego you won’t be disappointed. If we’re ever in Da Nang again we’ll definitely be back. Thanks Mom & Dad for making us feel like home

Wir waren jetzt zwei Tage hintereinander bei Chickpea Eatery weil wir so begeistert waren. Man sitzt im Wohnzimmer von dem sehr nettem Ehepaar, was echt besonders ist und das Ambiente ist toll. Das Essen ist wirklich extrem lecker, man kann den beiden sogar ein bisschen zuschauen wie sie es frisch in ihrer Küche zubereiten. Für uns war es das bisher beste vietnamesische Essen! Mein persönliches Highlight war der Bananen-Kokos-Smoothie :)

We've been twice. It's like eating in someone's kitchen (per the name). The Green smoothie, the golden milk, the Morning glory in garlic (lots of garlic but wonderful flavour) were excellent. Our favorite was the pancake with the peanut sauce (flavorful with a slightly crispy edge). Simply perfect. The price is great and we loved the experience. We’re already planning to come back.

Absoluter Geheimtipp! Man fühlt sich direkt wie zu Hause. Die Location ist sehr schön, ruhig und gemütlich. Man sitzt im Wohnzimmer der Gastgeber, die Küche ist offen und schließt sich direkt an den Raum an. Alles wird frisch zubereitet. Die beiden Gastgeber sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend und lassen keine Wünsche offen! Ich werde dort definitiv öfter essen gehen. Wer in Da Nang ist und nicht mindestens einmal dort gegessen hat, hat definitiv etwas verpasst!
