음식 맛있고 분위기 좋습니다 사장님도 직원들도 너무 친절해서 행복한 저녁시간을 보낼 수 있었습니다 이미 잘 알려진 맛집이라 예약 후에 방문하는 것을 추천드립니다. 모든 것이 만족스러웠지만 별하나를 뺀 이유는 베트남 물가에 비해서는 가격이 좀 비싼 편입니다.

We have eaten here twice now. The food is amazing as well as the service and atmosphere. The best meals we have had here in Vietnam. The first time we had ribs and steak and the second time their smash burger, coleslaw, Ruben and salad
UPDATE BELOW: This is a story exceptional service as much as it is about good food. It’s a quiet part of the afternoon and I have been trying to get lunch for 2 hours, but that’s another story. Seated quickly, given menus and left to choose but with an eagles eye watching to see if I was ready to order. Recommendation given for my narrowed down choices led me to order the Philly cheesesteak and a San Miguel draft lager, which arrived forthwith. A reasonable while later the PC turned up with fresh chopped chilli as requested. For the first time in 5 weeks in Vietnam, after a couple of mouthfuls, I was asked if everything was ok!!! IMO service in Vietnam is very lacking. If you don’t ask, you don’t get. PS, the PC was delicious. I’m almost confident enough to try a steak here (believe me, I have had half a doz and they just can’t seem cook a decent steak in Vietnam). I Will let you know. My compliments to the person who hired Karen, such a valuable asset to the business. 👏 Thanks for reading this to the end!! 🤣 UPDATE: It’s Vietnam’s Tet, aka Lunar New Year - The year of the Horse coming soon! I rebut Poomba’s and have a steak. This was the best steak I have had in both Thailand and Vietnam, and a reasonable price too at d435 (£12.18). For sure I will be back next year, aka tomorrow 🤣
Great ribs. Tender, meet falls right off the bone! Delicious! Very good selection of music. Only down side is that you will come out smelling like smoke brisket, but this shouldn’t stop you from trying this place!

Just as good as the original location with more space, good air con, and a delicious and cheap range of banh mis with western flavours. Edit: still great. The Moby Dick burger is like if a filet-o-fish got an education and made something of itself. No photo because I devoured it immediately.
Excellent food and drink!! Pulled pork mac was really good. I like to try the pulled pork sandwich before trying any other BBQ and I'll forsure be back. The only thing and It might be hard to get out here, but friend jalapeño would be the best! But still great sandwich. Amazing chili margaritas. Not to spicy and just right. With a nice sweet taste and enough alcohol. Key lime pie isnt bad either. This place has really good prices per area. Cocktail prices are the best & still good! Makes me know where to go for a drink & food before a night out with a group. I think they should advertise that party platter plus 3-4 drinks. Lots of guy groups come out here and you can't beat a platter od just meat and drinks
I had been craving a poutine and then tried their smoked meat poutine. The smoked meat was meh, too dry (having lived more than 10 years in Montreal, I'm a tough judge on smoked meat), but the sauuuuuce... damn, it more than made up for the smoked meat being on the dry side. Once I added a touch more salt and loads of cracked black pepper. (which are on every table) it was hitting the spot real good. Good service, easy location. I'll be back.

Maaann had the Cuban and it sucked. No flavour. 230k and the tiniest bit of meat and some completely flavourless cheese. The "housemade" bread was more like cake and crumbly. I just ate the filling in the end to "get my monies worth" and left. Meantioned to the staff when they asked if there was something wrong and they said "thank you" and run away. Didn't try and improve it. I asked for mayonnaise to help with the terrible bread, they bought it out, it was warm and had split but the flavour was okay, then I find out they charged 20k for the Mayo at the end. On a 230k sand-which 🤔🤔 no mention of charge upfront. First time here and very likely the last!
This place is amazing. Great service! Good casual music. Probably one of the best Ruben sandwiches I have ever eaten. Home made bread, home made fries, house smoked brisket. Well done Poomba's!

That hot turkey banh mi… wow it was incredible. Turkey, stuffing and cranberries with hot gravy in a banh mi. Could barely close it to eat it and it was really good. Loved the hand cut fries as well. Can see a few more meals in here in our future. Definitely recommend

Read several reviews and wanted to try this restaurant. I opted for the cranberry feta salad which was great. Really loved it. ♥️ Also has the chili and cornbread both of which were very good. 11/16/25 Returned for a second visit and was very happy with the food and the service. I had the Reuben sandwich inside the brisket with some of the most tender I’ve ever had. It was delicious. Also ordered french fries with it for an extra 90 K and it was a lot to eat for one person but delicious. My friend ordered the Carolina pulled pork sandwich and he said it was great. Could’ve used a little more sauce on it, but he asked and they gladly brought more bbq sauce. He was very happy with his meal as well. all in all I will be back. Very good experience..

Okay, so we tried the T-Rex platter at Poombas and… wow. 😮 That thing is no joke : hanging tender steak that’s actually juicy, crispy pork belly, brisket that melts on the tongue, and pork ribs so tender the meat just slides off the bone. No struggle, just flavor. Kinda surprised it wasn’t packed though. Maybe from the outside it looks like just another BBQ spot, but it’s legit. If you’re into meat, you gotta give this place a shot. Totally worth it.
Ordered delivery for the first time. Terrible experience. The worst place in DaNang. Old potatoes that had weird texture and color. And raw chicken that had a weird taste. Went straight to the garbage! Never again

Love this restaurant! The service and atmosphere was great. I ordered the fish and chips and I loved them. Really good fish, nice portion size, and cooked perfectly! I also really enjoyed the chips. Definitely recommend this restaurant! I will definitely be coming back.

Perfect! Came for lunch today. I got a smashed Bahn mi BLT, Outstanding! Linds for the smash burger and it was good. Has a house red relish on it and would probably leave that off next time. But good. Staff was very friendly and the beer was cold. 10/10 will be back!

Excellent and delicious sliced steak, burgers, and tons of other western dishes including genuine Mac n cheese and cornbread with honey. Feel right at home and good AC people are friendly and open late !! Highly recommend by me!

We found this place opened very late in the night and they staff were helpful and willing to serve, even if it was 1h before closing. The food very tasty and healthy, we were happy!
The late hours are a lifesaver at times (last order to dine in usually 2:15am). Lovely people and much better burgers than Bikini Bottoms and the other hyped western places.

I recently visited this restaurant and was absolutely blown away by the food and service! If you’re craving authentic smoky flavors and hearty portions, this place is a must-visit.
Had my food been better, Poomba's would've easily received a 4-star rating. The place is spacious and comfortable with outdoor and indoor seating, and the staff are amazingly friendly (and I was allowed to bring my pet dog inside....outside was too wet upon my visit). Unfortunately, a few things about my food order weren't too appealing. I ordered the Moby Dick burger (with fries and soft drink combo). Nowhere upon the menu's description of the burger mentioned Coriander, and I dislike this herb (along with a vast majority of people...so I feel the ingredient needed to be included on the menu). Apart from this nasty little herb, which was stuck in amongst the coleslaw and being very hard and awkward/messy to remove, the beer battered fish patty was on the "lean" size of a portion (but was ok in its taste)...in fact the whole burger was a little bit small. Overall, and largely due to the Coriander that I couldn't extract, I did not enjoy the Moby Dick burger much at all. The hand cut fries were also quite disappointing, too. They were a bit hard both inside and outside. They didn't taste fresh....certainly not crispy on the outside and light/fluffy on the inside (a sign of great chips). Now I'm not saying they were old or bad, but just not cooked/prepared properly....I wouldn't order them again. It was only on a passing whim that I stopped in, but from my first experience, I probably wouldn't return. I'm not condemning Poomba's, and due to their many choices on their menu, it may be worth others to give them a go....some of their selections (and ingredients) sound very tempting....and maybe I just had bad luck upon my encounter at Poomba's???
It's my second time to visit this place with my friends and we all love it. We ordered a T-Rex platter. The meat is well seasoned and smoked well. We'll definitely comeback and tried other food in the menu soon! P.S. The staffs are well trained and very attentive.
The food, the staff, the location and ambience is very nice. We loved the smoked wings, brisket and flank platter and it was delicious. For dessert we tried the key lime pie which was pretty good along with the ice cream. The owner came out to greet everyone. We came back 2 days in a row the smoked meats is that good
My 3rd visit here. Really delicious food, cooked to perfection. The buns are among the best I've had anywhere. The hash browns are thin and crispy. Pork sausage is tasty, unlike most other places that add too much salt. Beautiful decor with comfortable chairs. Friendly servers. Quiet and peacefuI in the morning, but I expect this place to become very popular soon! This is my new favorite breakfast place.
One of the tastiest American style BBQ ribs and burgers join in all of Da Nang. The restaurant has comfortable seating for large and small groups and the waitering staff is very friendly. Definitely got to give this place a try when you're in Da Nang.

This restaurant is in the heart of tourist DaNang. It is an attractive part of the city to have a walk. I ordered a hamburger. They have a great range of hamburgers and loads of New York style beef meals. I have been there 3 times because the food was always excellent. Ban Ban is charming and provided me an excellent service. I don’t always provide reviews but this restaurant is excellent and new. They deserve to do very well. Highly recommended.
7 of us ordered a lot of food and nobody was impressed with their order. The sandwiches weren’t even worth finishing and I think everyone left food on their plate. The desserts on the menu looked good, but after the lackluster food experience we went to another restaurant for dessert. The service was also not good because she took 5/7 of our orders and then left and we had to ask her three times to come back to finish the orders. But she didn’t and so those two people received their food after everyone else was almost finished. She was busy, so I’m not faulting her on slow service, but feel you should at least take the tables orders together instead of forcing people to eat at separate times
Oi troi oi (omg) once again Poombas has delivered...they just never seem to disappoint me...the meat is so tender yu can leave yur teeth at home...breakfast..lunch or dinner yu will not be disappointed...head on down there for a smoked BBQ experience yu won't regret it...👍
Had the LetterKenny smash burger with the hand cut fries. Excellent food. The staff was very service minded and attentive. Will definately be back and try some of the other items on the menu. EDIT: Now I have been here several times and tasted through the menu. I really enjoy this place. It is so central in the "touristy" part and the food delivers every time. Worth mentioning is that they probably have the best house wine in the area too
The new one on Le Quan Dao is a Great place for BBQ . The pork ribs are excellent. So tender and succulent . The Philly Cheesesteak is also very good . Their service staff are so accommodating and friendly. And they stay open for late night food . Overall a fabulous find . Highly recommend.

If you're looking for amazing quality of beef, in an american style steak restaurant, come here! The owners are soo kind and the staff are very friendly and considerate. The staff's training is even better than some other places I've been to! It's phenomenal how delicious the food here is on top of the cost being lower than back home! 😋 I also really love their Montreal Banh mi (has smoked meat) and their Carolina Banh mi! Talking about this makes me want to get more hahah!

It was our first visit to the 2nd location...we were regulars at the original Poombas before we left Danang.. The new location has a great vibe on an active street which makes it great for dining on their outdoor tables. Music is chill and layed back and the food is awesome. Had the pork ribs and they were moist and tender with an order of crispy fries and some red wine...Thanks for another great night. .
Honestly, disappointed. I ordered the platter and it looked nothing like the photo. The portion was so small and it cost 385k. The meat served was minimal like it was tasting session. And it was missing the beans? :(
This place rocks! The Bahn mi is cheap snack, homemade from scratch bacon, same with the breakfast sandwiches, great price, great bfast. Smash burger best around, fish n chips really great, cheap beer and wine, and if the staff is playing VN computer music, just ask them if you can select, they are happy to. This has become our afternoon meet up place, aircon in summer, ive been working my way thru the menu. Some i like better than others but generally very good.
It's not like it used to be—overpriced for mediocre, dried-out meat, and the portions are smaller now. No point going to this restaurant anymore... Reading the other comments, I see that for the past few weeks I am not the only one to complain, but it is clearly easier for you to contest rather than to question yourself.

Beef brisket, macaroni and cheese, garlic mashed potato, Montreal chicken... These are just some of the reasons to come in but absolutely everything on the menu gets 10 Stars. Excellent service, atmosphere!
If you want to get nice banh mi you shuld look fore another place. Ban itself was killed in the owen, it wasn't crunchy any more, it was just dried out. They use too much vinegard in salads and meat was too dry. Supposed to be a nice place, but what a dissapointment...

I'm a Banh mi lover...its a great mixture or hibrid from 2 countries culinary cultures and after watching the last video from local highness... Royal majesty(Samy Social)...aka "King of the town" about best Danang's options for him in that segment plus I'm very close to this place,I decided try one of those Carolina Banh mi. Taking a look to that large Menu( lot of options) a sandwich took my attention for that beautiful and great picture(Montreal whatever smoked meat) and I ordered... Big mistake. From one westerner to another... Man...we all understand the making money mode in bussiness is... but for a close to 200k vnd sandwich that meat portion it's very rude treatment for your customers... YOU KNOW THAT Again....was my mistake because the Bahn mi was my target... Finally I had to order the banh mi(was good and much better) because scam and priced sandwich let me still hungry. Restaurants and food shop owners....again, again and again..... please, please and please... BE FAIR WITH THOSE MENU PICTURES... At least HALF CLOSE to the real thing.... This place is always very empty, maybe people some way learning about Quebecois tricks and thieves.
Was hoping to get some Mont. Smoked meat. Not available. Staff not certain if reuben was made with MSM. Had brisket and ribs. Brisket tender but dry. Ribs above average. Prices ok.
Service as expected wass nearly non-existent. Food was just average at best. The smoke flavor was very light. The girl behind the bar had no personality at all. The whole experience was just average at best.
This place is phenomenal… the meat is fresh and tender, juicy and FULL of flavour. Not only that but the service is unreal. They are the nicest people I have met. 10/10 MUST TRY
Ban ban really made my meal even better with her fantastic outlook on life. My meal the international was the best breakfast in a long tume. Sneak a cheaky San Miguel draft beer, its great.
Extremely disappointed. Waited 93 minutes for our food despite multiple follow-ups. When it finally arrived, it was stone cold. Staff showed no accountability or apology. After sending it back, no one addressed the issue. This was a pre-booked fixed menu, and the experience was unacceptable.
You can get a really classy sandwich for less than two bucks
Had the Philly cheesesteak and mac and cheese – both were delicious! The sandwich was packed with flavor, and the mac and cheese was creamy and comforting. Great service and cozy atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!
Relaxing place with delicious food and the Pilipina staff is very accommodating.
The best burger in town and the best coleslaw. Who knew. The next night we went back for BBQ brisket. It did not disappoint. Delicious.

Went there for thanksgiving dinner. We pre ordered our meal and still had to wait 1.5 hours for our food. The food was almost cold and the portion was pretty small for 500k. I’m quite disappointed with my experience.

thật sự để mà nói đây không phải lần đầu ăn montreal bánh mì ở đây hay mac nd cheese dù mua mang đi hay ngồi tại quán hay đặt ship nhưng đây là lần thứ 2 thấy thất vọng khi ăn 2 món này khi ship đi , bữa thì bánh mì giao đến bọc giấy dính nước trong khi trời không có mưa mà cầm vào bịch đựng bánh mì thôi đã thấy gói hàng không có tâm rồi , nhấn mạnh đây là nước không phải sốt mà chảy ướt cỡ đó , cho đến hôm nay khi đặt bánh mì thì ít sốt hơn bình thường hay su thì không nói , kể cả thịt cũng ít đi thì cũng k nói nhma hôm nay thịt trong bánh mì chỉ có 2 miếng mỏng dài bằng cây cả 3k thôi mà nó còn khô nữa , biết là hun khói sẽ bị khô nhma đây là do rã đông làm ẩu nên thớ thịt khi cắn ra ngay sớ trắng nõn , này là do làm ẩu , không thơm mùi maiyo hay thịt hun khói mà ổ montreal có mùi bơ nồng nặc như ổ 5k mua ngoài biển , ok nếu dùng máy kẹp phải có bơ nhma vừa đủ để kẹp nóng thôi chứ sao mà ship tới nơi bịch giấy đựng bánh mì vừa nước vừa bơ cầm rất khó chịu , ok có thể ít bơ và bơ thấm vào 1 ít thì còn chấp nhận nhưng đây khi lấy ra khỏi gói cầm bánh mì không để ăn thì có bơ chảy ra nữa là sao nữa ạ ( chảy nhiều quá mới nói ) còn macnchs trời ơi luôn á cả hai lần đặt , lần thì bị chỗ sống chỗ bỡ , lần này thì được hơn tí là luộc đều tay nhma có thể nào để bớt nước ra tí nữa đc k ạ chứ bọng nước quá , còn chs hôm nay quá tệ , không phải chất lượng thực phẩm hay sao đó mà là do làm ẩu , chs ở trong bở hết ra thành bột luôn như bột sữa em bé bị dính nước á , thật sự công tâm nhà hàng mình rất nhiều món còn lại ngon cũng như t red hay bánh hay steak các thứ , kể cả chk wgs cũng ngon nhma sao hai lần gần đây đặt về ăn mà lạ lắm ( đã từng ngồi tại cả 2 cơ sở , có nhờ bạn đặt ship hộ vài lần rồi ) thật sự khi rate trên gg rất đắng đo nhưng thấy rate trên grab thấy tiệm chả ai quan tấm đến nên mới rate trên này , thật sự đây là bữa cuối ăn ở đây .

We ate at their other branch before and really really liked it there, so we were excited to see that there’s a closer branch to us. We ordered pretty much the same food, but this time, the Reuben sandwich was a bit on the dry side. The bread felt thicker, and the meat was a little dry compared to our first experience, so it was slightly different. That said, the meal was still good, and it was a nice dining experience overall. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. They also accept card payments, though I think they add a 3% charge.
The food is very good, the wings I had as a starter definitely were smoked. I had the chili as a main, which came with corn bread and the portion wasn’t big enough and the pot that its in, should have been in the oven before, it hadn’t. It doesn’t come with rice or chips, so I ordered a side of chips, which were excellent, proper homemade. The problem I had was with the service, I ordered the chili and chips, and the male waiter didn’t understand, even though I pointed at the pretty picture, and all I received were the chips. The female waiter, there were 2 , understand better and I then told her to take the chips back whilst they cooked the chili, this might be why I got such a small portion, I haven’t got a problem with obvious language barriers, but he should have double checked with the ladies if he wasn’t 100% sure. I think someone else might have got a wrong order as well, when I was there, can’t be sure though. The house wine was very good as well, from Chile, very cheap for a half decent glass . The draught beer is in a smaller glass only, It was cheaper to buy a glass than the bottle and I think it was the same wine? Might be wrong. Also the beer coaster had mould in them, throw them out and get new ones. I would definitely recommend this place, but double check your orders .

Dined Dec 25 Thank you for a lovely Xmas dinner with all the fixings, especially so far away from home!🎄 The food was served cold but it was tasty and nicely plated on slate, which would have been ideal if warmed. The meats were super tender. It was our first time trying Uncle Willie's hot sauce and it is excellent! The proprietress kindly gave us a bottle at cost. Good wine, good service and the enclosed new space is more comfortable for us. Didn't love the desserts but 5 stars overall because we had a great time and look forward to going back for the regular menu.

Ate here several times while visiting Da Nang. The food is great, authentic Carolina BBQ for sure. The staff, manager, kitchen crew and servers are all top notch; very friendly and very, very efficient. The manager is very accommodating, he will put any sports you want on the TV and will close the sliding doors and turn on the Air Conditioning on a hot day upon request. The food is great with many choices. You can't go wrong here!
This place has really delicious sandwiches, I tried their signature one and it's really BIG and all the ingredients are just super! The western bahn mi here is amazing, it will be very much to a foreigner's taste if you suddenly want a banh mi, but in a western style. The two restaurant owners are very nice people. ♥️ here you can also get very tasty sauces, I love hot bbq sauce, but it's not hot at all, it's sweet🔥
Ordered delivery for fish and chips, a week ago. There were barely any chips. **Look at photos.** Then what about the fish the main item? Look at the proof of photos. Fish portions too is measly low for over 200k price range. Alas, had to bike to the restaurant to show these to the manager in late night. Often dine here for their sandwich and burgers, those usually commendable. Apparently fish and nothing is an afterthought.
Came here for lunch. Nice comfortable patio, as well as indoors, with good tunes. Had a char grilled Canuck burger, an ode to the Canadian owner obviously. Very good. Perfectly cooked, good beef, and great home cooked bun. The fries on the other hand were a different story. I asked for well done, and they came out soggy and cold. They need work. Service staff, although they speak English, is a bit spotty. Five stars await on food once the fries issue is resolved.
First, the good points - the restaurant is clean and comfortable with a relaxing ambiance and the serving staff are friendly. The menu is well laid out and the portions of pork ribs generous. However, what should have been a gastronomic experience was frankly, ruined by the fact that our plate of ribs and accompanying sides were served stone-cold after an extended wait. I can't tell if this is a general service standard or a one-off as the lovely Filipina hostess ended her shift immediately after taking our order and departed. I assume there was some lack of coordination in the hand over as we then waited an age before our platters were brought to the table with the apology 'Sorry your order is late'. The presentation was attractive with a portion of double cooked fries and vegetable medley on the side and dipping pots of ketchup and ranch sauce. I first selected a French fry to try and it was absolutely stone-cold. I then tried a rib. Again, it held barely any residual heat and was effectively cold. I immediately called over the new waiter and told him the food had been served cold. His response was to offer some more fries instead of removing the platters and ensuring the ribs were reheated and re-served with freshly cooked fries. The kitchen had clearly done their job in preparing an attractive presentation of tender, perfectly cooked ribs but then our food was left languishing on a cold shelf whilst the plentiful waiting staff forgot about it and then happily served customers stone-cold food and refused to properly address the problem when it was immediately brought to their attention. If it was a 40k bowl of pho you'd let it slide but when you've paid almost ten times that I really would expect better.
It's my first time eating here, and I'll definitely be back. The brisket sandwich was excellent. Had a very good piece of key lime pie for dessert. Staff is friendly and attentive. You can sit outside or inside with a/c.
Not many options during Tet holidays. Their pork belly is quite good. The rest is so-so. The cheesy potato with gravy wasn’t really cheesy. Both foods and drink are a bit overpriced. Don’t come here in the afternoon if you like sitting outside unless you love the scorching sun.

The food is soooo good! so good! 🤤 I ordered their international breakfast and my bf got a breakfast sandwich - everything is tasty and delicious. I also loved their mango smoothies, it’s so refreshing and it’s REAL mango 🥭 💕 We met the owners as well, they are very nice and generous. The staff are very accommodating and proactive. 😊 100/10 🤩 We are definitely coming back!

When planning my trip to Da Nang one of the places me and my husband wanted to try was this place. The trip here was definitely worth it. The food here was amazing. We tried the Carolina Bahn Mi, the 3 burger slides and the cornbread and honey(forgot to take a picture of the cornbread was so good i forgot to take pic haha). Everything was fantastic. My husband is a big BBQ guy and he loved every bit of the food here. Atmosphere is casual, staff were attentive. We will definitely be coming back here to try other items on the menu. I highly recommend trying this place out it’s a must!
This was the least enjoyable place in my 3 months in da nang. I had some scrambled eggs, burger patty and the Montreal sandwich The sandwich bread was burnt to a crisp and tasted like charcoal, couldn't eat it at all. I then separated out the meat but it was so dry and salty that I had to ask for some mayonnaise. Everything was way too salty and my mouth still is itching. They have a BBQ grill outside that keeps creating a lot of smoke that then enters the inside space. So you'll not only end up eating smoked meats but also breathing it and smelling like it too.
I visited Poomba’s for breakfast after reading Google reviews on the restaurant. I ordered the omelette dish with sides of burger patties and extra egg. The food was delicious and very flavorful. The restaurant atmosphere is relaxing and the service is fast. The food menu options are reasonably priced and offer a variety of meal choices. While there, I had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Jason and Trang. They are very friendly folks and appreciative of their restaurant becoming quite popular with the locals and visitors alike. I will definitely be coming back for more dining experiences with them. I highly recommend Poomba’s for an optional dining experience.
You definitely should visit this place. There are very tasty meat dishes here (and btw, not only: you can try Banh mi with mushrooms). The service is also 5 stars. Pictured: Poomba's Reuben. This is much tastier than burgers (IMHO): a very successful combination of sauerkraut and smoked meat.
I had the Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich. It’s big and filling. Good quality meat too. I recommend it to everyone. Nice atmosphere, attentive and helpful young lady up front.

In the land of the blind, the one eyed is king. Unfortunately this applies to too many businesses in da nang. Just like the talantless musicians at expat night clubs, that could not find audience in their own countries, Poomba’s offers borderline mediocre food, apparently praised by western food starved Expats. Please go and explore the local cuisine in da nang you will find much better and varied food, that does not clog your arteries. PS. Objective remark-bakon and eggs were burned to a crisp.
Pretty disappointing result here, especially after being pretty keen to check this place out for a while. We ordered the Poomba’s Pigslop which is listed as a ‘Signature Dish’ and advertised as “Loaded fries like you have never tasted”. I would say Strong avoid, especially at its price point. The portion was very small, and while it was topped with some cheese and an adequate level of pork for the size of the overall dish, there was no hint of the gravy or BBQ sauce. We enquired about this notable absence of menu-indicated ingredients and the stark contrast between our dish and the menu picture (was this the proper dish? We assumed a mistake had been made). The server took the plate back to the kitchen but quickly returned with it to assert this was in fact the Pigslop, and served as intended. They even pointed to the thin water at the bottom and said that was the ‘smothered in gravy’ part of the menu description. We explained again the missing items and after a discussion where we expressed disappointment and confusion, the server left and returned a few minutes later with a small dish of BBQ and one of gravy. Credit to them to try, and the BBQ made a big difference, but not enough to change the overall takeaway: avoid this dish, and possibly Poombas. The glass of wine was quality for the price and location. We will maybe try another menu item in the future, but for now I urge caution on at least the “Signature” portion of the menu.
I was really looking forward to trying the Montreal smoked meat from Poomba's. I've enjoyed many versions of this juicy, smoky and salty goodness throughout Canada and a few places in the US. I love the modern look and comfy chairs in air conditioning! I was so happy to see cornbread on the menu and it did not disappoint -one of the best cornbread I’ve had. I also had a yummy burger -very delicious. Everything here is top quality.

This is hands-down, my favorite restaurant in Da Nang. If you want authentic barbecue, there’s no place else to go. I lived in Da Nang for a year and frequently their other location 10 times while living in the city. Visited their new location and was pleasantly surprised with the menu and the service. My third trip here I had Philly cheese steak is great. Same for the pork ribs! My hamberger was good not as good as the pork ribs!!

Wow. Coming from the south in America.. this food holds its weight! Smoked wings were perfect and the bahn mi with pulled pork was all i wanted it to be! Worth every cent!!!
We visited this Place in November last year, and I was pleasantly surprised. The Food is fresh, juicy and just delicious. I recommend the "Kitchen Sink Burger" and the Steak, both really tasty. The owner and his wife are such nice and friendly people. Greets from Germany! :)
Poombas is amazing!! We came here for breakfast and came back the same day for dinner! All the food is great and the owners and staff are very friendly. Come check this place out!
First, I will say the meal was ok and service was great. Very attentive staff. And food was decent. The issue was with expectations. There is a HUGE difference between "grilled" and "smoked". I think menu terminology/pictures are wrong as I watched the meat be grilled. Smoking is something entirely different. Honestly, I am a little torn over whether or not it was actually pork belly. I am glad I didn't order the brisket. I am learning too slowly that anytime "Texas", "Carolina", or "Memphis" appears on a menu in Vietnam, what you expect won't be what you get. But hope springs eternal, I guess. Besides "grilled" vs "smoked", I will offer suggestions: Chop slaw more More vinegar in "Carolina" sauce Update: I am not a "food critic" trying to hurt anyone or get clicks. I could care less. I just think sometimes owners need to be aware of how things are actually being executed in their restaurants when they are not there. I assumed smoked and finished on grill would be the method. But I watched the raw meat be grilled.
We ordered classic burgers and they were really delicious so we enoyed our meal. And it was also a Christmas day, and the atmosphere was very cozy and pleasant. The owner kindly offered us for free an eggnog drink which I've never tasted before. And it was also very delicious. So we had a very good overall experience with this place. Thank you
Good food, service is ok, I have a restaurant in An Thuong area. The restaurant need to pay a fee when customers pay by credit by law. They asked me to pay 3% extra for credit card. It is not true
4-5 stars all around. Excellent menu w many choices of smoked meats and side dishes. I've visited twice for the Rueben sandwich so I've got a lot more to try out before my review will be complete. Service has been great except during TET when they were short staffed one day. Definitely won't judge them for that since they fed me but so many others have provided beautiful reviews and photos.
