Delicious, fresh and flavoursome food
We recently went to cocobay with the intention of going to Holy Pig for dinner but it was closed due to a festival so we went to Cococita instead. We are so glad we did as it was one of the best meals of the trip! We had the beef, pork and fish tacos all of which were perfectly balanced in flavour. We also had the corn appetizer, braised beef cheek and mexican rice which were delicious! I think the ambience of the restaurant could be a little better (it was very busy but no music or lively vibe) but the food was spot on. Would highly reccomend if you like mexican flavours and fresh food!

Food is so delicious! I'm from Mexico and we order almost everything on the menu and we love it. So tasty! The peanut sauce it was the best. We had the opportunity to meet Alonso Luna, the chef, and he was so humble and grateful from the opportunity to share Mexican food with the Asia market. Keep up the good work Alonso 👏🌏🇲🇽
Ecxellent lunch but no South American ambiance
I was there for lunch today. I had a pineapple juice, Guacamole and Chicken Fajitas. The juice was served promptly, Guacamole came after 10 min with Nachos. Chicken Fajitas followed 15 min after. Food was excellent and the Fajitas was served with all the condiments. I enjoyed my lunch a lot. Manager and Mexican Chef came to check my table and the waiter /barman spoke basic English. I will definitely be back there. Good place, good service and good food Thank you to Cococita team!
Cocobay does not know when they are open
In the mood for Mexican food we called Cococita to confirm they are open via the Cocobay call centre. Which they confirmed with a open every day answer. So taking a taxi from Danang centre to Cocobay, time 20 minutes, cost 160,000vnd per way. Only to arrive at Cocobay be pointed by security where it is. A short walk later I find myself in front of a closed restaurant with a "sorry, we are closed today" sign in front. Complain to information centre, took a taxi back. Lost 1 hour, 320,000vnd and still hungry. Will never return to Cocobay.
PATHETIC
What a lame joint. I went there around 5 p.m. and ordered chicken fajitas with rice and a draft beer. The waitress informed me that the draft beer on the menu was not available. This place makes a big deal of the fact that its chef is an authentic Mexican and that their dishes are all cooked "from scratch." I was the only customer. When the fajitas were delivered, I was not given the rice I'd ordered. When I asked where the rice was, the waitress and her assistant looked at me as if I had asked them if I could fly on a turtle to the moon. The "Mexican sauces" indicated as part of this meal never came. When I asked about them, the waitresses were more stupefied. I was eventually brought a bottle of hot sauce. And, oh, by the way, at any real Mexican restaurant anywhere, you get some nachos to snack on before your meal. Not at this place. You have to pay for everything. The photo of the fajitas dish shows black beans, rice, and limes. None of those comes with the meal. I had to get up twice to ask where my rice was. Finally, I asked to speak with the manager - presumably, the authentic Mexican from authentic Guadalajara. He was nowhere to be found, though, when I first sat down, he was gabbing away with staff. I paid for my beer and left.
