Restaurant situé à l’entrée de la vieille ville et donc moins touristique et qui permet (surtout pour le déjeuner) de prendre son temps pour apprécier leurs différents plats végétariens et qui se distinguent parmi les autres restaurants aux alentours. La cuisine est agréable même si cela manque parfois de surprise. Pour les personnes qui veulent découvrir un autre aspect de la cuisine au Vietnam avec des prix contenus.

We loved this place. We had a great vegetarian Cao Lầu, which had mushrooms that tasted like chicken (texture wise) and delicious tofu. Also loved the pineapple juice, which was very fresh, and you can adjust the sweetness yourself. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant. Would definitely recommend!

We had the cheapest Pho on the menù, which was 95k (the most expensive we've found in Vietnam). It was good, but the portion was very small considering the price (only one piece of Tofu, 4 pieces of Mushroom and some dried tofu). The most disappointing thing is that we had to pay extra taxes, for a total of 215k for only 2 pho. When I said it was not mentioned, the lady showed me a different menù where it says on very tiny section about the taxes, but it was not even the same menù! And also, was the first time we had to pay a different price from the one displayed on the menu. Very disappointing

Wow. Món ăn ngon tuyệt, rất ngon và đúng vị. Nhân viên dễ thương, đặc biệt là Tram. Thực đơn đa dạng. Mọi thứ đều rất tươi ngon. Chúng tôi ra về với bụng no căng và hạnh phúc xxx Bạn nhất định phải thử món nấm chiên giòn.

Đây là một trải nghiệm ăn uống tuyệt vời. Nhóm 6 người chúng tôi đã gọi đủ món, từ đậu phụ nướng, cà ri, salad đu đủ, đến món bánh gạo hấp và nhiều món khác nữa. Tôi rất khuyên bạn nên đến đây.

Nếu bạn là người ăn chay và muốn thưởng thức hương vị Việt Nam đích thực, đây chính là địa điểm dành cho bạn.

Đồ ăn rất ngon và nhân viên phục vụ chu đáo. Tôi và bạn trai gọi 2 suất ăn và cả hai đều rất ngon và nhiều đến nỗi chúng tôi không thể ăn hết. Rất đáng để thử.

Một quán chay được trang trí khá là có nét, cửa quán có khá nhiều người đến chụp ảnh. Không gian quán không phải là quá rộng nên ngồi xuống đứng lên có thể không thoải mái lắm. Ánh sáng và nhạc theo hơi hướng thiền khá nhẹ nhàng. Các món ăn chay thì mình đánh giá ở mức ổn vì (1) nhìn chung các món hơi đậm, (2) một số món khá ngon nhưng một số món thì cũng bình thường. VD như món đậu hũ 3 tầng và canh chua quê rất ngon, bún đậu mắm nêm khá thú vị, nhưng củ sen lắc phô mai thì phần củ sen quá mỏng và khô, món đậu xiên que giới thiệu có nấm truffle thì không thấy vị nấm đâu, (3) giá hơi cao. Mấy món đồ uống mình thử thì khá là dễ chịu.

Thức ăn tinh tế, và thanh tịnh. Không gian yên tỉnh, view phố cổ rất đặc biệt nơi khác không có. Mình ấn tượng món nấm Barbercue rất ngon và nhiều món khác. View chỗ ngồi nhìn ra phố cổ Hội An.

Nay có dịp ra phố cổ chơi, đi ngang thấy một quán khá bắt mắt ngay cổng chào thì vào ăn thử, rất là ok, nhân viên dễ thương, món ăn đa dạng, thích nhất là món nấm đút lò rất là lạ miệng mà ngon.

Went here with my family and... I am speechless... It was truly a beautiful experience! We ordered the Mì Quảng, which is the Hội A special, the crispy abalone mushroom, and the bánh xèo..twice! And many other fabulous dishes...We also finished our meal with beautiful tea...So lovely..so peaceful...Thank you Shamballa

Chúng tôi tình cờ tìm thấy nhà hàng tuyệt vời này khi đang dạo quanh thị trấn. Thật là một niềm vui khi tìm được món ăn chay chất lượng cao như vậy. Nhân viên phục vụ vô cùng chu đáo nhưng không hề gây khó chịu. Món ăn rất đa dạng và thực sự ngon tuyệt.

Nhìn chung, nhà hàng này chú trọng hình thức hơn nội dung, với mức giá khá cao so với chất lượng món ăn ở Việt Nam, không tương xứng với tiêu chuẩn và số lượng. Tôi đã từng ăn ở những nơi ngon hơn với mức giá chỉ bằng một phần nhỏ. Nhân viên thân thiện nhưng không gian chưa được tốt.

Nhà hàng Shamballa là một nơi tuyệt vời, phong cảnh nhìn ra phố hợp với một nhà hàng chay ở phố cổ Hội An này. Nhà hàng rất hợp với phong cách cổ điển, ánh đèn không chói mắt lắm rất ưa nhìn. Những món ăn chay nhìn rất lạ mắt hương vị ngon 10/10.

Terrible service but amazing food. We stopped by this place after a day of traveling and met eating much. The food was amazing. Unfortunately, the service was lacking, which ruined the experience. We ordered a lot which was part of the problem. We had to ask them to pause bringing us dishes because the table was full and we couldn’t eat fast enough. The food was getting cold or the rice paper was getting hard. It would be nice if they managed the cadence of the plate delivery better. However, the customer can also do that by ordering in batches. Because we asked them to pause on making more dishes, so we could get a chance to eat without rushing, they lost track of what they brought us. They missed bringing us things that they still changed us for on our bill. They also didn’t bring our drinks until well after the first batch h of food was finished. They forgot drinks that we had to ask for multiple times. It started to rain and they offered all tables a place inside but us, I guess because they thought we would finish soon anyway. It is really a shame that the service was terrible because the food was amazing. I still recommend going here. Here is what we had: Lemongrass sprinkled potato fries These were good, very light in flavour and nicely fried. In general, they are very good at frying things properly. Nothing fried was oily or heavy. 2. Cheese sprinkled lotus roots Light, cheesy, delicious. I recommend these as a starter. 3. Cassava lettuce rolls Slightly hot but in my opinion the best roll I tried. 4. Shamballa rolls Good but not super memorable. 5. Roasted rice rolles Good but not super memorable. 6. Square rolls A very nice way to have a spring roll. I recommend these. I also love their vegetarian dipping sauce. It is the closest to fish sauce while still being vegetarian that I have ever had. 7. Termite mushroom egg rolls These were very good. I highly recommend them. 8. Banana sprout salad Intense flavour and very good. 9. Fried sticky rice bites Delicious and fresh. It is also a nice starter. 10. Chillie sprinkled fried tofu Not my favourite, was quite heavy with a strong oil taste. It was the only thing not well fried. 11. Signature fried rice This was also not my favourite but my dinning companions liked it very much, citing how light and flavourful it was. 12. Classic mushroom momos These were good but not very special. 13. Wild vegetable xao toi Delicious but a little bland

We loved the food here. Visited twice during our stay. However, I felt the quantity of food was less for the price. Was left feeling hungry afterwards. But the food was delicious, service was great. Another odd thing was that there were hardly any customers, wonder why.

Best vegetarian in Hoi An. I visited six times during my stay, each tine trying new dishes. My favourite dishes are the Tofu Skewers, Eggplant Pot, Fresh Spring Rolls and the Red Curry. But you can't go wrong with any of the food on the menu. The staff are also so kind and friendly. They made me feel so welcomed every time I are here. Can't recommend highly enough.

If you haven't dined here...you have truly missed something! The Pho cocktail is...interesting. The food...absolutely wonderful...subtle flavours. Service!?, very very warm, friendly and quick. Check out the lemonade pic!!

Very nice vegetarian bistro in old town entrance. We got the morning glory salad with Lion's Mane mushroom. We also got grilled mushroom and veggies. And of course, as always a fresh coconut. Wife ordered Lemongrass Ale - non alcoholic

The best meal we have had in Vietnam, the food was incredible and the service was amazing. So authentic and fresh would come back again and again!!! Recommend to anyone.

I am no vegetarian but the food served at this place makes me want to become one. After a short argument with my vegetarian girlfriend about where to eat for our anniversary dinner, we decided to go to the first restaurant we come across in town and this was it. OMG! The food here is amazing! And that’s coming from a carnivore. We had the northern set and the Shamballa set and I could’ve eaten 2 rounds of entree of each. The northern set comes with Water Fern cakes as entree and Cao Lau for main. The Shamballa set comes with 2 types of spring rolls and deep fried mushroom, and a taro curry for main. Every dish was finger lickin good. Highly recommended for vegetarian and non vegetarian if you like good food, good service and a nice atmosphere to have dinner. Yum yum yum 😋

Was a warm evening, aircon was not on and seems to be the case for most of the shop here. Had wanted to try a few dishes but due to the heat we do not have much appetite hence order just two simple side dishes. It would be great if the Resturant is much cooler. The staff tried their best to on the fan/cooler. Food wise comparing the same dishes I had in HCMC from a Resturant call Hum????s. Would prefer the ones at HCMC. The two dishes I ordered lack’s flavour (personal opinion). Would I try again….hmmm. Properly not. Service wise I would say the staff is trying their best and I respect and thank them.

Nice place we loved the grilled vegetables platter and the red curry (not thai) the noodle dish was a bad one as it was deep fried and not known to us.

We were curious and turned up to check it out (not vegan ourselves) and it was amazing! We had red Thai curry and the Ha Noi special noodle soup - the broth was incredible flavor!!! In addition to fantastic food, the service is absolutely great and the ambience is lovely. I accidentally ordered a cold iced tea and when I explained I had actually wanted it warm, they changed it free of charge and were so thoughtful that they even took my water glass back and gave it warm. Absolutely recommend!!! Special thanks to Khánh who was just the sweetest waitress.

Wir haben uns sehr auf den coconut rice gefreut, der groß auf der Karte angekündigt wird. Leider war das Essen sehr enttäuschend, eine zu kleine Portion, sehr trocken und das Shamballa ist von allen Restaurants die wir in Vietnam getestet haben, leider mit Abstand das schlechteste.

Very friendly staff, lovely decorated place and nice story of origin. The food was super unique and I have never eaten something like it before. The food was made with love and was served nicely. Also, the portions were good. However, the taste was just not up my alley in general. This has to do with my food preferences and not with the restaurant in general. I loved that the restaurant was fully vegetarian and that I could choose anything on the menu. Rather pricey.

Wonderful vegetarian restaurant on the edge of the old town. Exquisite service from the kind waitresses. Eggplant dish and cabbage rolls were the standouts for us but all the food is delicious - we got through 10 dishes between the two of us, somehow! Everything was presented extremely well. Highly recommended for a serene meal away from the crowds.

Absolutely superb restaurant. The photos on here don't do it justice. My partner is a chef and we were blown away by each of the 6 dishes we tried. The flavours were all unique to the standard stuff you grt. Even the eggplant in Claypot sang with flavour. If you go here try out some of the menu and don't just get spring rolls ! It was true veggie heaven and perfect for any vegetarian who has been here for a week and wants to have something exciting and delicious

The Restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and the servers were very friendly. The Food was okay but at the Price range and also from the reviews k expected a bit more. I am sure that for some people the taste is amazing but we expected a bit more flavors. Maybe its also because I was not feeling very experimental at that time and and i was craving something a bit western maybe. All in All our stay was pleasant and calm.

Don't fall for the trap. Avoid at all costs. Restaurant is run by thugs and is significantly overpriced (green curry is approx 400k+ once you add on all their service charges). We saw a sample menu outside and went in, but once seated realized it was a different offering shown inside. The outside menu was for "luring in" the "inside menu" was what you could actually order. I'm sure the food must be good, but it's not an ideal experience to start with. Based on feedback from others in restaurant, we decided to change environment and head somewhere else. However because one of us washed hands in the restroom (in preparation to eat) , the restaurant staff turned into "thugs" stopped our family from leaving. They had some washroom policy that I offered to pay, and i even offered to cover additional out of courtesy in cash. They forced us to purchase something WITH additional forced tips. The tone and method of which the staffs used were extreme and not reflective of the Buddhist culture that they preach. Much better offerings nearby , with better service and culture. Edit: owner has contacted, with an unfriendly tone as well. Not with a tone for discussion, more of just dismissal of the experience and that it's ok for someone to experience that

Delicious vegetarian food with gluten free options clearly marked, perfect for coeliacs

Best food in Vietnam we've had so far. The staff were friendly and warm, and remembered me when I went back again in the evening. I'd recommend the shamballa platter and the fresh Pineapple juice. Gorgeous restaurant!

Exzellentes vegetarisches Essen - das Beste das wir in Vietnam hatten! Wir waren alle 3 Tage dort essen. Vor allem zu empfehlen ist das Curry, der Vorspeise “gegrillte Pilze” und den Rollen-Kombinationen. Reisgerichte sind ok.

Had a dinner at Shamballa and it was delicious. We ordered two of their sets (Tale of the North and tale of Shamballa) and we got a selection of some veganised Vietnamese foods. Great place for vegans and vegetarians.

Everything was mouth-watering! After 3 weeks in Vietnam we came here on our last night, and this was the most delicious meal we've had! Highly recommend the shamballa taster set, and noodle soup. Amazing!

Great restaurant! The avocado banana spring rolls are the best spring rolls I have ever tasted. The wellness salad and the soup were great too. The steamed buns with truffle weren’t that great, just like the dessert which was way too salty. All in all a four stars rating :)

Visited for dinner with my family, we ordered so much food and all of it was incredible! So fresh and a huge mix of flavours, there is something for everyone. My dad even enjoyed the tofu (which is a big deal for him!) Some of the best vegetarian/vegan food I've had in my life! We are only in Vietnam for 1 week but we are making it a priority to go back one more time before we leave! I highly recommend the sesame breadfruit and the 3 layer tofu!

So good we came back for a second time! Lovely decor and music in the background, very friendly staff and the food is delicious. We had the crispy mushrooms, banana Avocado spring rolls, wellness salad and the Hue noodle soup - all excellent! The juices and teas are also delicious

This was probably the only vegetarian restaurant I encountered in my trip to Vietnam. However, it is relatively very expensive and is borderline fine dining. The staff seemed indifferent and I had to wave for their attention for each and every thing. The ambience was pleasant enough with the lighting being the highlight. The menu had helpful icons to mark dishes as vegan, gluten-free, spicy, etc. which I always appreciate. We ordered the barbecued mushroom and the steamed lotus leaf noodles. The mushrooms were alright but the noodles were hot and delicious. If you are vegetarian in Hoi An who doesn't mind spending extra, then you can consider dining here.

Excellent vegan restaurant. Our last meal in Vietnam was here. Nice ambience and great service. Tried the Spiced mushrooms, stir fried flat noodles, grilled eggplant and a hibiscus and strawberry drink. Everything was good except for the eggplant which could have been grilled better. Overall good experience!

Amazing food!!! Lot of different dishes to try! The fried tofu with the mushroom sauce INCREDIBLE. The banana curry UNFORGETABLE. The service is so kind and the restaurant is cute! You can order to take away too!

Very cute place, delicious dishes and reasonable prices. In some dishes there were leaves called "Hoss" or something like that - they have a terrible taste and smell. pay attention! English speaking staff and was easy to communicate with

Amazing vegetarian food. The rolls were really nice especially the lotus seed roll. It’s definitely not on the cheaper side and the portions are rather small. The servers are really sweet and our food was served really quick. The ambience is really comforting and wholesome but it’s not properly air conditioned.

Nice and tasty vegetarian foods but a bit pricy. Need to check with them what is with garlic and onion. Comfy and cozy environment. The lady boss Ms. Jade and all the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Huge menu with a lot of interesting dishes to choose from. The food was great and the staff was very attentive.

Where do I start, from the moment you arrive the service was exceptional. The menu has a very large range of fresh vegetarian food options available to suit everyone - adults and children. The food is sourced locally and it absolutely comes through when you recieve your food, the freshness is beyond what you could imagine and I had been on the hunt for a tofu pho bowl experience since I arrived in Vietnam over 2 weeks ago and this definitely set the standard. I can't speak highly enough of this resterant and as a vegetarian make sure its the top of your list when in Hoi An. Thank you!

Probably the best food I’ve had in Vietnam. It’s a vegetarian restaurant but so many vegan options. I got the vegan hue noodles and a matcha oat milk latte. They were both so delicious

Best vegan pho I have had during a month in Vietnam. So nice I ordered it twice. Jade and her staff are lovely, the atmosphere is very tranquil and the mojito was yum.

We had one of the menus and an extra bread fruit starter and enjoyed it all ... recommended but a bit pricey.

Green curry is not to be missed!! The open faced bahn mi was ok - bread was soft :( Skip the seaweed soup. Cocktails were good. Very helpful staff! Worth a stop in

Place was nice with good ambience. Food was different, but I felt little overpriced, could be due to location as well, as it is in entrance of hoi an old town.

The food at Shamballa is some of the most delicious I have ever tasted. Furnishings are beautiful too.

The food was good but a bit pricey. The service was great. They accept cash and cards.

We ordered Clay Pot Glass Noodles and Shamhalla Fried Rice. Taste was very good. Ambience is very nice. Little expensive but other than that very good place in Hoi an.

We’ve visited Vietnam twice now and this is hands down our favorite restaurant. We’re a family of four, my son 11, and my daughter 6, and we all found dishes that we loved. And that’s no small task. We tried 5 of their tofu dishes and a few appetizers. Honestly their tofu dishes were some of the best we’ve ever had. The staff was amazing and so nice. I can’t recommend this place enough. We’ll probably eat there again tonight!

Fabulous place that’s well located. As a vegan, I was very happy to find a place where I could try local Vietnamese dishes without reservations. Not only did the food taste great, but the zen like ambience added to the whole experience. Wow! The food and atmosphere here was amazing. The staff were absolutely lovely and really helpful and attentive. The flavours of the food were absolutely incredible. It was so fresh and flavourful. You know when you’re eating something and don’t want to it end, it was definitely that scenario. Highly highly recommend for veggies and non veggies!

This place was seriously amazing! Such a gem. I had the best sweet and sour hot pot I’ve ever had, and my mom had a fantastic banana curry. The staff was amazing and the menu extensive. Highly recommend, even if you’re not vegetarian!

Best food we have ate in vietnam. We had the avocado spring rolls, papaya salad, quinona dish and banana curry. We were blown away by how good it was and not bad pricing. Food was so fresh and beautifully presented. A must visit for veggie vegans 🌱

Hübsche Aufmachung des Lokals. Fein gedeckter Tisch mit Stoffservietten, schöne Gläser, schöne Keramik. Tolle vegetarische Speisen, große Auswahl. Die Karte ist mit Bildern. Was man bekommt sieht dann auch genauso aus. Es ist sehr schön angerichtet und noch wichtiger es schmeckt hervorragen. Auch unsere Getränke waren sehr lecker. Der Service war freundlich, aber nicht überrangend. Der Gesamteindruck bleibt aber sehr gut.

The Cook knows exactly how to prepare nice, healthy and deliciouse food using fresh ingredients from the Region. You will find colorful and authentic food. If you are a foody and love good food, you should try. Service is also very friendly.

An awesome lunch! We ordered many different things and enjoyed them all. They were light and flavorful. The staff was very nice too. The iced fruit teas were a highlight. Definitely recommend!

My husband & I had dinner at this restaurant where we were so impressed with the choice of dishes. Each of the dish we ordered were tasty & beautifully presented. The service from staff were so attentive & respectful. We would highly recommended this venue to enjoy your vegetarian food at its best.

Gin & Tonic was amazing! Service was okay but the staff didn’t really speak any English. The food was bland and the portions were small. We had the eggplant, quinoa & tofu clay pot dishes. Had to add a lot of salt. Not worth the price in my opinion. And they added 15% on top of the bill. Enter at your own risk :)

Holy cow, so many delicious dishes to choose from! It took a while to make up our minds because this menu is huge. Everything was amazing, the service was kind and friendly. I would definitely recommend coming here, vegetarian or not.

Excellent service and really delicious food. We had about 7 dishes and each one was great. Best vegetarian restaurant I have been to. Prices are good only about 135k per dish. This is a must visit restaurant much like the memories show. 2 things not to miss in HOI AN.

We finally found it after searching a long time. We impressed immediately seeing the sign “welcome to our timeless treasure” so much thoughtful in a place like Hoi An. The decors is pleasantly watching with coloured curtains and lanterns and most importantly is their menu it blows us away with so many options. We ordered a crispy woven noodles, truffle green curry, truffle tofu skewers we loved it all so much.. the price is a bit high but you get what you paid for. Staffs are decent. If you travel on budget don’t visit this place. If not then must try. This is the best vegan place in this little old town Hoi An and it never disappoints you.

the food and creativity is exceptional. We shared a variety of rolls the first evening and loved it so much we came back and ordered a hotpot the second evening. Being a vegetarian all my life its such a treat to find such a diverse and delicious culinary experience. Thank you so much Shamballa

Had some of the unique vegetarian dishes. Everything on the menu is well thought out and different types of vegetarian dishes are brought together to make an amazing meal. The cost is a bit on the higher side but definitely worth visiting.

What a beautiful place and sweet staff. The food is amazing and almost haute cuisine like. Therefore the prices are somewhat higher compared to what you might be used to in Vietnam, but still it's totally worth a visit!

This is one of the best Vietnamese vegetarian restaurants I have ever been to. I have been to a lot. They present the food beautifully, and the food is scrumptious. You should come here if you come to Hoi An. You should come regardless whether you are vegetarian or not.

Good! Nice atmosphere at Hoi An Shamballa restaurant, walk around beautiful village then good tasty food that are well presented. Creative within vegetarian constraints. Mushroom dishes were good. Yummy desserts. Slightly more expensive than your usual restaurants but still well recommended.

We had a super nice dinner. Their vegan lotus Pho is very flavoured and a must. I also tried their hibiscus ice tea and loved it. There are plenty of delicious choices in the menu and also a lot off mocktails to choose from!

The concept and backstory of this restaurant is very heartwarming. The Vietnamese crepe was excellent. The decor and ambience is really nice and peaceful too. Lots of options in vegan and vegetarian food. Really worth a try.

A friend told me about this new restaurant in Hoi An and we had to check it out. The interior and atmosphere is beautifully decorated, it leans towards a traditional style but very airy and fresh. However what really blew us away was the food! The two of us shared a set menu and every dish that came out was delicious and beautifully presented. This is a must visit for anyone in the area.
