Small restaurant seems really familiar..gyoza very good maki al tonno good and cơm đâu phu chiến really delicious...mother and daughter serving gently....felt comfortable will come back.... Back in Da Nang I went back to eat here... It never disappoints... The Japanese food here is always delicious and the service is always very kind. What can I say... every time I go to Sakura I'm sure I'll eat very well in a truly relaxing environment... Well done!!! I come back after one year and is a pleasure to come back here..food is really good and the owners are always very kind..nothing fortunately has changed quality and service top..

Uno de los mejores sitios en los que he estado en Da Nang. Fui 4 veces. Comida casera y ambiente muy tranquilo y familiar. La señora que, imagino, es la que se encarga de preparar los platos, el último día me regaló unos trozos de sandía. Muy muy recomendable y a muy muy buen precio

Không gian quán nhỏ nhưng sạch sẽ, gọn gàng. Đi buổi tối ngồi ngoài mát, nhìn đường cũng vui. Giá cả hợp lý, tầm 50-100k/người. Món sukiyaki ở đây làm chuẩn vị Nhật, nước dùng ngọt thanh từ rau và nấm, thịt bò thái mỏng nhúng vào vừa chín tới ăn rất ngon. Đi đông gọi lẩu này là hợp lý.

Ăn lần đầu thấy ngon, quay lại lần 2 vẫn ổn. Mình thích nhất cảm giác quán nhỏ, gia đình, dễ chịu chứ không ồn ào như mấy quán lớn. Katsu Curry Rice ngon bất ngờ, phần cơm nhiều, thịt chiên giòn giữ được độ nóng lâu. Nước sốt cà ri mặn ngọt hài hoà, hợp cả người lớn lẫn trẻ em.

Giá cả hợp lý, không gian thoáng mát gần gũi như ở nhà. Udon nóng hổi, sợi mì dai, topping nấm ăn đã miệng. Chị chủ thân thiện, nói chuyện dễ thương. Chắc chắn có dịp mình sẽ quay lại.

Mì ramen ở đây đúng chuẩn Nhật, nước dùng đậm đà, sợi mì dai vừa phải. Đi 2 người gọi thêm Sukiyaki lẩu bò nấm, nước lẩu ngọt tự nhiên, ăn kèm thịt bò mềm cực đã.

Authentic Japanese food & warm service Had dinner here and absolutely loved it! The ramen broth was rich, udon noodles perfectly chewy, and everything tasted so authentic. The owners are incredibly kind and ưelcoming, feels like eating at home. Definitely coming back!

Món ăn ở đây thật sự ngon. Nhà hàng được điều hành bởi 2 anh chị chủ và cô con gái nhỏ. Phục vụ thân thiện, cảm giác như gia đình, cô gái dễ thương và lễ phép, còn mời mình ăn snack nữa. Nhất định sẽ quay lại ủng hộ.

Tiện đi massage qua thấy nên ghé thử. Đồ ăn cũng được, anh chị chủ quán rất vui vẻ và service tốt...

Nước dùng ramen khá đậm đà, không bị mặn như ở nhật. Gia đình chủ rất thân thiện

One of the best places in town

We absolutely loved this restaurant! The atmosphere is very cozy, the service is great, and the food is incredibly delicious. The portions are very big — even if you order just one dish, you can leave feeling completely full. We came here for the first time yesterday and tried the ramen — it was absolutely amazing, words can’t describe how delicious it was! We loved it so much that we came back again today and ordered another dish (unfortunately, I don’t remember the name), and it was just as delicious. Tomorrow we are leaving Da Nang, and the only thing we regret is that we didn’t find this place earlier. If we had known about it before, we would have come here every day! Highly recommend this place to everyone visiting Da Nang!

We decided to mix it up and had Japanese food for dinner one night in Danang at Sakura which was very good. Stir fried seafood with noodles, chicken yakitori, kimchi, and ice cold sake.

I found this restaurant by accident, and it was one of the best lunches I’ve had in Da Nang recently! I ordered the gyoza and ramen-both were AMAZING. It feels like a family-run restaurant, and everyone I interacted with was incredibly kind, smiley, and welcoming. I will definitely come back 💛

The ramen was good overall — great soup, great noodles, and amazing value for money. I’d definitely recommend it. That said, there were a couple of missed opportunities: the egg wasn’t marinated (just boiled), and the pork belly didn’t seem marinated or slow-cooked long enough. Both were fine, but could be much better with small changes. Hope to see those improvements in the future!

ездила туда только ради рамена и не прогадала с выбором заведения! супер вкусный, насыщенный и много «начинки». а лапша то какая!! храни господь человека, который ее приготовил, просто великолепный вкус) однозначно советую! на фото рамен с курицей за 110К заведение пользуется спросом у русско говорящих, так что своих вы там точно встретите) это реально семейное кафе, там все делают владелицы этого заведения, они очень милые🥰

A Japanese Gem in the Heart of Danang

I recently dined at Sakura Restaurant in Danang as in one of the reviews it was mentioned it had a good selection of vegetarian options. As I entered the restaurant I noticed how small it was. Two tables on a platform where you sit to eat similar to a tatami room; but an open space. There were also I believe 3 other traditional tables with chairs. I enjoyed the peaceful decor as it had prints of kimono clad ladies on the walls along with some other Japanese paintings/prints on the wall. Also Japanese paper lanterns on the ceiling and a TV showing a continuous viewing of cherry blossoms and the cherry blossom season somewhere in Japan. The decor and soft Japanese music added to a peaceful atmosphere that discouraged loud voices and added to the tranquility of the restaurant. The restaurant appears attached to living quarters at the back and there was actually a shower in the bathroom; but I'm sure that wasn't for the use of customers. So the family that runs and works at the restaurant actually live in the building. Now for the food: I ordered the Kitsune buckwheat noodles with a large shitake mushrooms, a good portion of kitsune - which is fried beancurd - and some other pieces of vegetables. The broth was delicious and most importantly it wasn't salty like some Japanese ramen or udon soups can be. It wasn't an overly large bowl; but it was about perfect as I had a large buffet lunch earlier in the day. FYI to the vegans/vegetarians there was a small piece of fishcake with the noodles and I think they added it because I mentioned to the server that I ate some seafood although I am primarily vegetarian. The only quibble I would have was I wished there was a bit more ramen in the bowl. The other dish I ordered was the inari (4 pieces). The rice was perfectly seasoned and moist. It also had a sprinkling of sesame seeds which added to the flavor. I can honestly say it's the best inari I have eaten in a restaurant as my mother made an excellent version herself. To top it off a had a Sapporo beer which was very inexpensive as beer tends to be in Vietnam - even the imported beer. The food preparation was somewhat slow; but I didn't mind as my thinking was the chef wanted to get it right. The food felt like homecooking - simple; but flavorful. As the restaurant's capacity is very low I wonder if they usually rely on reservations as I'm sure they couldn't accommodate a large rush of people. The restaurant is also located in an alley type street so it doesn't have a lot of traffic. The staff was warm, gracious, and welcoming. A gem in the heart of Danang. This true family owned restaurant is a real gem. The atmosphere, artwork and service are top notch. My favorite Japanese restaurant ever. From the Beef Udon soup to the stir-fried seafood Udon, Miso, Yaki Onigiri, Chuka wakame, Natto, Kim-Chi this is a wonderful establishment where I could eat daily.

Amazing!! The owner is so kind hearted and her brother too, even took me to find an ATM the food was even more delicious, we ate there on Christmas Day and had a great chat with the owner. Such a hidden gem, do not pass up the fried gyozas so yummy!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff - small family restaurant. Everything is homemade and the attitude towards the food is evident. The prices are reasonable. We would definitely visit again and were highly satisfied.

I think this place is a hidden gem Really tasty food and nice friendly owners , we will definately come back again . It's in a really quiet street that not many people walk down , we were the only ones in the restaurant but there was plenty of grab orders being picked up.

Great Ramen. Great Atmosphere. Great Staff. Took my 9 year old daughter here after finding it to be one of the few Ramen Restaurants that are not overpriced like most of the others in Da Nang. The ramen doesn't try to be anything other than what it is. Its traditional, authentic, and tastes amazing. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy. It's a small restaurant, but not crowded, located in an unassuming ally. The decor, and even music, were Japanese and it felt like I was in a small shop in Kyoto. The staff was incredibly friendly, and met every request with a smile. Its obvious they care for the customers as much as they do their restaurant. After having visited other Raman/Japanese restaurantsin the city, this is the one we will continue to come back to.

They are doing a really nice job here. Great to have a local Japanese place I can rely on. Did delivery and they even include egg with their tonkatsu. Nice touch. Very filling and really enjoyed the meal.

They use high quality ingredients and the dishes I tried were delicious. Cold soba noodles were prepared authentically. Karaage chicken seasoned & fried to perfection (comes with a tasty salad). Tuna & mayo Inari was fresh and a great addition to my order. The food is clean and tasty. The decor is also clean and comfortable. I can't wait to return to try the rest of the menu 😋

분위기와 리뷰가 좋아보여서 방문했습니다 하지만 최악의 선택이었어요 사장님은 친절하셨지만 음식은 기본이 없었습니다 1.자루 소바 면이 제대로 삶기지 않았습니다 2.야끼소바 또한 밀가루냄새가 났습니다 3.교자는 그냥 찐만두같았어요 찐만두 아래면에 색만 살짝내서 나왔습니다 -일식을 먹어보지 못한 사람이 만든 일식이라는 느낌이었고 기본적인 요리실력이 없는 사람의 음식으로 느껴졌습니다

Really great service that speak English and of course Vietnamese. Dinner and dessert was delicious and they had so many options. Great scenic view of the river and the street, for outdoor sitting. But also plenty of indoor tables as well.

However, the Udon was good though. Texture and broth was good. The mushroom was also a very nice touch. I think the Udon is very good for its price 👍

Waktu itu pesen gyoza dan oyakodon, semuanya bener-bener enak! Menurutku harganya cukup pricey tapi tetep worth it karena makanannya enak dan juga porsinya banyak, apalagi oyakodonnya menurutku porsinya cukup besar. Terus kemarin juga dikasih free semangka sama salah satu staffnya! Bener-bener pelayanannya bagus banget dan semuanya ramah. Ambience tokonya juga enak, lingkungannya juga sepi. Recommended! 👍🏻

Real authentic japanese food! 🤌🏼 I used to live in Japan, so I am always on the hunt for authentic japanese food. The owner worked herself in a real japanese restaurant for 8 years and you can tell she learnt from a great japanese chef. The owner, her daughter and her brother running this little family business and they are really lovely and so welcoming. So highly recommend to check it out because I was there already several times :)

Sakura Ramen is an absolute gem! The food is authentic and full of flavor—easily some of the best Japanese cuisine I’ve had in the area. The lady who runs the place is incredibly kind and welcoming, making the experience even better. She offered complimentary miso soup and fresh watermelon, which was such a thoughtful touch. I’ve ordered from Grab several times, and every delivery has been perfect. Dining in at the restaurant was even better—the atmosphere is cozy, and you can feel the passion behind every dish. Highly recommend!

Die suppen waren reichhaltig und sehr schmackhaft, das Gyoza war frisch und wohl selbstgemacht. Ein kleines Restaurant das in einer Seitenstraße liegt (leider), und von einer liebenswerten freundlichen Familie geführt wird.

I really like the food here. Can get my true essential Japanese food here. The owner is nice and she also remembered us for our second visit. We also order from Grab here very frequently. My favs here are : shabu shabu, natto, cold soba noodles, edamame, tofu, and other traditional Japanese food. Never had ramen here but want to try.

I tried their udon and oyakodon and they were both ok. It is not bad to try if you really need to eat Japanese food, but it is definitely not that great. The vibe here feels like something 30yrs ago and nothing feels cool or vivid. I think the staffs speak some japanese.

Amazing food made by a great family restaurant. Check out the menu. It’s got many options. If you want Ramen or anything else you can not go wrong with anything on their menu it’s all solid.

There is a very nice atmosphere and sweet service that really does their best and of course it helps a lot if the food is also very tasty and delicious!

The udon and soba noodle soups have really delicious broth. The tempura udon had a slightly different flavor broth from the soba; the udon was more clear and less salty, the soba had more of a soy sauce flavor. I liked both. Lots of noodles and huge pieces of delicious leek! I had chicken with my soba, and it was simple and tasty. The tempura is not quite right, as the batter is too puffy and not crispy enough. Good, but can be improved. Maybe it needs a different kind of batter? We also ordered gyoza, which had a really good pork and ginger flavor to the filling. Overall a pleasant place with friendly and polite staff and a family restaurant atmosphere.

Lovely place with lovely owners :) First place in Vietnam that gave me green tea not at 100 degrees, so it was very delicious!

If there is one restaurant that you need to visit in Da Nang, it is Sakura Restaurant. It is a lovely family who is running it with a wonderful daughter. The mom is cooking and the young cute daughter takes the orders. We had to wait for a very long time for our food, but it was worth the wait. It looks so Japanese inside with even a cherry blossom tree! Highly recommended!

Cute little restaurant. We had the yakitori (amazing, 10/10 recommend), the Japanese pancake (can’t remember the name but it tastes amazing) and a soba noodle soup (was okay! Personally believe Vietnamese noodle soups are way better but that’s just my taste). The staff is nice too :) PS: there’s NO sushi.

We went to this place because we were looking for great Gyoza and that’s exactly what we found there! The food was amazing and all freshly made and the service was fantastic - small family business and both sisters working hands on. Highly recommended.

The owner and her little daughter are the sweetest people and the hot udon soup is soooo comforting, fresh, and delicious. So are the ramen and gyoza! The restaurant space is homey and never crowded. We have been going every single week since we first discovered this place! 🍜💛

Very good, clean and comfortable place. Choice of food is vast and you can’t go bad with anything that comes from the kitchen. Rich broth and very good fresh filling in dumplings.

People working there are of a rare kindness ! The place is quiet, some calming Japanese songs are played (I recognized few anime songs). The price is slightly above the average vietnamese street restaurant but there are a great variety of typical japanese dishes, it is not to be found anywhere. 😉 We tried the udon soup with chicken and fried udon with vegetables and stew dumplings, it was good !
