Best local food and locally priced chay restaurant in Hoi An. Buffet style Buddhist place with some a la carte options. We spent 6 weeks around Hoi An, went to countless chay restaurants, and this one is one of two that offers the best bang for your bucks. (The other one being Quan An Lạc Vegetarian Food) Local food with no frills at local prices. Highly recommended 👌

Lorsque j’ai découvert ce restau j’y suis allée pratiquement tous les jours ! Les plats sont délicieux, les portions parfaites et les prix très raisonnables (tout à 25k). Mention spéciale pour le Com Chay que vous pouvez composer vous même ! Possibilité de manger sur place ou à emporter. Je recommande sans hésitation 🍲🥰

Có bán cơm bún mỳ và cao lầu, dịch nên ít khách chỉ có lẩu vào rằm với mùng một. các sản phẩm chay như mì gói, rong biển và các đồ ăn vặt, rất tiện lợi.
Quán chay ưng nhất của mình khi đến Hội An. Mình cũng nghĩ là đây là quán chay must visit cho khách du lịch ăn chay. Đồ ăn cực kỳ ngon, nhất là món phở.

Good food, good choices, peaceful mantras in back. A proper local place with amazing prices. I’m happy to pay more than the locals for the plate it’s still cheap. & the food is worth it. Thank you for serving so many people with diverse vegetarian food everyday from morning to evening!
I got sort of vegetable and vegan food with rice for 35k. Tasted OK. Sunday 2 pm, not crowded, nearly empty place. Garbage under tables. They should clean more often.
The food is really really good and you can decide how big you would like the portion and pay depending on that. So I don’t know why people are complaining about the price. Take more you pay more, just fair.

Food very good prices written clearly. I was a bit worried reading previous reviews. Dont get yourself ripped of rice menu com dia should never cost most there 35k in local prices or ask before buying Bau nhiu com dia? Here com ga - rice menu 25k. Its very clear and transparent. Its really easy to ask for the price in Vietnamese. If you dont want hassle just order from menu and pay by timo qr code. Then nobody can overchage you That is what I did seeing reviews. 😅2nd of Jan 2026 its sad unfortunately many places cheat on tourists in Hoi An even some places in Da Nang which is suprising cos those are vegan places right ? They should have more morals but at the end its their own karma.
Update: I have to remove 2 Stars Reason is that they prefer local people- I have seen that local people pay 25 k for the same plate as mine got charged 50k sometimes 60k or 70k . I visited them often, so I am sure they remembered me. But each visit the price rises :( Vegan / vegetarian buffet with soup options. There is plenty vegetables and fake meat to eat. A big room to sit and eat or you can take away the menu. It’s in Vietnamese, but communication is friendly. The price is reasonable and the taste is good

Great local vegetarian restaurant, super value for money. We had the Cao Lau, which came up to about VND25k per person.
Every time we stop Hoi An we come here. They have a sort of buffet style vegetarian selection with mock meats and vegetables. I love everything there. I would suggest that if you can, arrive earlier as the food will be fresher. But if not I still recommend giving it a try. You can get a nice amount of food for 50k.
Good vegetarian chay meal, rice and other vegetable items of customer choice, i picked 5 items for 25k vnd. Of course as people pick mock meat or special items the cost will be more as the prices are not same for all. MiQuang custom alacarte menu item for 20k.
This was some of the best food we had during a three-week trip all over Vietnam. Our family of four including children aged 8 and 11 ate here two days in a row because we enjoyed it so much. We got plates from the selection of prepared foods as well as pho and mi quang noodle soups, both times. Total cost was 120,000 VND (about $6 US).
This was the first place I had vegan food in hoi an & it was amazing! Still the best place of the 4-5 I’ve tried since coming here. Priced well, it’s an unlimited buffet type place with lots of options. I would highly recommend.

Had a great lunch here! Rice, vegetables & diverse tofu , soya , mock meat for 50000vnd. If you take only rice & vegetables much less 25-35000vnd. Peaceful place with recitation & mantras in background.

The food was ok, not impressive. We won't go back here, maybe we came at a bad moment? Rats running around and trash on the floor and nobody cared about to pic it up. I hope it was just a bad day.
I love this style of vegan restaurant, I’m able to try out a bunch me different dishes and get full without spending much money. I think this restaurant is a bit out of the way but if you have a bicycle it should be fine.
Mit Abstand das beste Essen, was ich in Vietnam gegessen habe! Jedes Gericht absolut fantastisch, man kann sich alles nach Geschmack zusammenstellen. Ich habe mir von der sehr netten Besitzerin einfach etwas auftun lassen und das nicht bereut. Die Fleischalternativen sind die besten die ich je gegessen habe - bei einer Wurst bin ich nach vorne gegangen um nochmal nachzuhaken, weil sie SO authentisch geschmeckt hat. Irre! Wirklich eine 10/10, unbedingte Empfehlung für jeden!!!
So many delicious vegetarian foods here!!! I just want to eat it all!!! I’ve recently been buying a whole thing of the “cha ca chay” and cooking with it at home too— it’s so good. Highly recommend this spot. Everything is flavorful and cooked to perfection 💕

Definitely a local spot where you can choose from a variety of items from the buffet and they gave you soup as well. My dish cost a total of 40000 which I felt was a little steep since reviews said they paid 25000. Quiet little neighborhood, a little messy inside but the lady is lovely. The noodles I thought were the best and some of the seaweed mock meat wasn’t as good. Cheap vegan options! (my noodles had egg which I didn’t realize until after)
Came here for takeaway twice, and it’s like the perfect meal I wish I could get in my hometown. For less than €2 you get a fully stocked box with rice or noodles, veggies and any mock meats you want (they have like 6?!?!). Just amazing
I was charged 50k VND for my meal. It is a good price i think.. but after reading other reviews, I can't say if i was overcharged or not. The food is good(i liked everything but the eggplant, which was too oily for me). i don't know if i would call it a buffet, since the items are placed on the plate for you as you point them out. But if they put too little, you can ask for more. I don't know if the price changes depending on how much they put on your plate. I did ask for a lot, but I still don't know if i could have gotten a cheaper price if I asked for less, or if it is a fixed price for all you can eat... I am confused. only a few other people were there when i went around 3pm.
Als Tipp von einem Local Guide erhalten. Es gab bei uns nur Nudelsuppe zu essen. Diese war jedoch sehr lecker. Hier wird wenig bis kein Englisch gesprochen die Verständigung klappt aber irgendwie. 😁
If you are looking for a budget vegan place with good portion, this is it. Buddhist-themed, friendly staffs, good food. They serve fake meat so if that’s something you can eat, go ahead. They’ll give you a plate with rice and you can choose from their selection of food to add onto your plate and every plate comes with some broth. Price ranges around 20-30k. Had a 30k plate today and I’m filled 😄 highly recommend their home-made passion fruit juice, priced at 8k. Only downside is the amount of flies 🪰 … I guess as Buddhists they don’t kill animals 😃

Mock meat mania! Sausage, chicken drumstick, luncheon, veges and more. You get a generous helping of rice and then point to the other options you'd like. I tried to get everything into two plates :). Plus it comes with a bowl of soup. I love mock meat so this place was perfect for me. It was mainly locals when we visited so that shows it must be good. Pricing was super competitive compared to other places. Unfortunately, I only came here on our last night but I'd definitely come back if I was staying for longer.
Супер-заведение. очень вкусная еда, несмотря на низкую стоимость. можно самому собрать себе блюдо из разных ингредиентов, можно просто заказать Cao, который оказался, наверное, лучшим, что я пробовал в Хойане.
The lau chua cay is horrible taste. Too sweet tasteless just red broth with some tomatoes and fake meat.

Finally somewhere were everything on the menu is actually vegetarian (even vegan really). Not so much clean diet orientated but still fresh ingredients, plus the fake meat is really to die for. Absolutely delicious. Authentic local place, simple and cheap, super friendly staff (no English though). Fast service/ takeaway.

It's a pure vegetarian restaurant which is good. You get choice of options and it's really cheap. It's just 15k VND which is shockingly amazing. Taste could be little better as compared to a little restaurant which we found in a small street. People are very nice here. You can visit and try if you are looking for a vegetarian meal.

Good vegetarian place, even if you're not a vegetarian. Point at what you want and your plate will be 20-30k most likely. Not as many meat substitutes as some veg places I've been. The tofu was good and the food wasn't too oily. Staff are okay. The place is frequented by locals, especially during the lunch hour. Treat yourself to a cold coconut coffee at Borina Coffee (very close) for 30k after. It is so good. :)
This place is the first in Vietnam I really had the feeling discovering new foods. The way they produce ingredients with new tastes and textures is amazing. It has a very local feel to it and the price is really sharp. We had a bit of everything in this buffet-like formula and only paid 30k (July 2018). Definite go to for people looking for new tastes even though it doesn't look fancy.
Razem z moim chłopakiem byliśmy w tym miejscu drugi raz. Do wyboru sporo jedzenia z bufetu, dostaliśmy dużą porcję ryżu plus wybrane dodatki. Naprawdę spory talerz. Cena za pierszym razem wyniosła 40.000 VND za 1 osobę (obsługiwał mężczyzna), za drugim razem zapłaciliśmy kobiecie 20.000 VND za osobę.
Waren hier zum Mittagessen, kleine Karte aber alles hat lecker ausgesehen. Preislich extrem günstig! Nur 4 Sterne da mal in neue Einrichtung investiert werden sollte. Von außen fällt der Laden fast nicht auf, ein klares Schild wäre gut!

Extremely rude service because I'm a foreigner... It was my third time here, so I was aware of the prices and quantities. When I finally got served (after many Vietnamese who came after me), they gave me way less food and shoved it back to me as if to say "that's all you get". I asked for a few more items (the normal amount) which they begrudgingly gave me. They were very rude and after giving me the plate, crassly demanding a price higher than I was used to. When I questioned the price they basically told me to leave the plate there and leave, which I did.
Really good mock meat and super affordable... 20 vnd for a tray of food! Probably best to go for lunch when the food is freshest but it was still good later in the evening

Great selection of tasty mock meat and veg, noodle soup also available. This is a local more than a tourist place so food is super cheap. Was full of locals at 1pm and a couple of lone tourists, but not at all noisy. No menu, just point at what you want, a little English is spoken. I chose a selection that included 3 types of mock meat and 4 vegetable dishes, comes with plenty of rice and a side of soup, just 25,000vnd. Loved the mock chicken in sesame and the mock fish. Big, clean restaurant.
Delicious and very cheap vegetarian food. Some employees speak moderately good English, but otherwise you can point and choose or select a dish from their menu. Lunch and drinks for two people came to 50,000 VND. When we were there at 8:30am the next morning it was packed full of locals. There's another vegetarian restaurant next door that looks like it's worth checking out as well. A nice detour on a bike ride up to Tra Que village and then back around to the Silk Weaving Museum which we found to be a nice change up from the over touristic Old Town.
Just fabulous! After the tons of fried rice and greasy noodles we've been served as the vegetarian option after leaving Saigon until here, this restaurant was an oasis for us! My favourite: The Japanese Pancake!
