Great 8-course set menu; each of these dishes has bizarre, exotic flavor and ingredients, but when tasted, they were familiar and homey, and that showed theunforgettable combination between Western and Vietnamese. Highlights of the set menu were the taco, seafood toast, black & blue wagyu, charred cabbage, especially the Ca phe muoi cheesecake with "fish sauce" caramel, and the nice finishing touch of the granita. Thanks to Ms. Vi and the entire Westwood team for this incredible dining experience (ps: Westwood deserves consideration for Michelin Bib Gourmand or Selected)
An amazing experience brilliantly led by Chef Curtis. Flavors were on point, every single dish have its own little twist, a fantastic travel between West Coast and Vietnam. The team is attentive and very knowledgeable, you can feel their communicative passion throughout the menu. Very interesting wine list with some little gems at fair prices. Will definitely come back and highly recommended to all. Thank you for this moment !

Ghé Westwood Da Nang trong chuyến đi Đà Nẵng và khá ấn tượng với tổng thể không gian cũng như trải nghiệm ở đây. Quán có phong cách hiện đại, tối giản nhưng vẫn ấm cúng, bố trí gọn gàng, thoáng đãng và đồ ăn ngon, nhưng quán đông chờ hơi lâu. Phù hợp cho cả làm việc, gặp gỡ bạn bè hay nghỉ chân trong lúc đi chơi. 🇻🇳 Nhà hàng cao cấp nằm hơi “lạc chỗ” — một con phố phía sau sông Hàn, sau dãy quán pub trên đường Chương Dương. …
Đây là lần thứ 2 mình ghé lại nhà hàng, vẫn khá hài lòng! - không gian: thoải mái, không quá rộng cũng không chật chội. Mình ngồi quầy bar để quan sát bếp nấu nướng. Ánh sáng vẫn vừa đủ để dùng bữa mà không bị chói gắt. - Nhân viên: mình tới lần đầu khi nhà hàng mới mở được 1-2 tuần gì đó thì phải, nhân viên siêu take care nhé, cẩn thận tỉ mẩn, chưa vào đến cửa đã thấy có bạn chạy ra mở đón. Lần 2 mình tới thì không có được như vậy nữa 😆. Nhưng nói chung các bạn vẫn lễ phép hiếu khách, nhận đúng order! - Đồ ăn: có cả course và menu a la carte. Mỗi tháng sẽ đổi món trên course 1 lần và vài món trên menu a la carte. Khá thú vị. Menu course tháng 6 rồi có món Crab & Smashed cucumber làm mình thích mê, nghe đơn điệu mà ăn bùng nổ, vị tươi mát rất thích hợp cho khai vị. Crispy Pumkin cũng khá ấn tượng. Spicy Wok fried squid thì mình có ăn tới 2 lần, lần đầu ăn bên menu alc, còn lần này ăn ở course. Cá nhân mình thích ăn lần 1 hơn, vị thiên Á hơn, tê tê. Tráng miệng bên này mình đánh giá cao sự sáng tạo, nhưng mà có vẻ chưa hợp vị mình lắm. Mùi sả trong bánh kem làm mình bị ngai ngái, ăn cuối bữa dễ bị ngấy buồn nôn. Kết cấu bánh thì rất mịn đẹp, nhưng vị chưa hợp mình Nói chung đồ ăn rất oke, đáng thử Mình vẫn sẽ quay lại Overall: 8/10
컨템포러리 베트남+퓨전 느낌의 파인다이닝 식당입니다. 재료나 조합 모두 신선하고 맛도 훌륭했고, 공간 또한 만족스럽습니다. 특히 배추요리와 소프크쉘 크랩은 입안에서 폭죽이 터지는 느낌이고 충격적일 정도로 맛있었습니다. 메뉴가 변경될때마다 방문하고 싶을 정도네요. 1인당 4만원정도인데 만족도는 그보다 훨씬 컸습니다. 아마 더 자리가 잡혀가면 코스 구성이 복잡해지고 가격도 오르겠지만 그 역시 기대가 됩니다. 다낭에 이런 파인다이닝급의 식당이 프렌치나 인도 레스토랑 등 몇군데 더 있는것으로 아는데 음식의 폭이나 새로운 경험의 측면에서 여길 매우 추천합니다. 아직은 한국분들께 많이 알려지지 않아서 다행?이라 해야할지. 8코스 모두 나오는데 한시간 15분 정도라서 빠르게 먹고 나올수도 있습니다. 영어 되고 카드 됩니다. 코스요리는 저녁에만 한다는거 같은데 나중엔 또 어떻게 될지 모르겠네요. 구글맵 예약도 되고 앞에 0 빼고 베트남 번호로 걸면 전화 예약도 가능합니다.
Great meal with great staff in a lovely setting. Favourite dishes were the burrata with octopus bacon , the charred cabbage with seed hummus (wow!) and the fried rice with lumps of crab. Only small flaws: the pork loin was just a touch hard & the dessert a bit salty. Overall a great meal at very fair prices for the quality of ingredients and preparation. For wine we had Vietti Nebbiolo (v good , at 200k vnd ) and a Telmo Rioja (vnd 139k). Would love to return.
This place stole my heart here in da nang ! A real comfort and high quality plating with a personal tasty touch . They have done it right and the quality is magnificent. Get the 8 course meal! It’s worth every penny! …. Wasn’t a fan of the sticky toffee tho. Kinda broke my heart but the food and wine choices are very very impressive . I can’t wait to comeback … and wonderful Host. She adds the right western taste to high quality restaurants we are familiar with.
Love that Da Nang has been popular enough to have more food options. This restaurant is hidden on a quiet street by the river. Really nice setup and is a great dating spot or family/friends gathering. For the quality of food, this place is quite affordable. I came here for brunch with a friend for the first time today and had to go back for dinner with my family lol. It’s that good! And I’m pretty particular with food.
As Canadians, my wife and I thought it would be funny to support a Canadian chef while we were travelling in Vietnam (especially since the food looked good). This choice based on a meme turned out to be a wonderful idea. The staff were all friendly and professional, the ambiance was romantic and relaxing at the bar area, and most importantly, the food was great. Burrata - the persimmons were delicious, and the smoky octopus "bacon" added a great accent to the creaminess of the burrata. It was already portioned to make it easier to eat (a nice little touch vs getting a whole glob of burrata and having to portion it yourself). Caesar Salad - the chili and bottarga give this classic a nice new kick, coupled with deliciously crispy croutons. Pho Beef Tartare - exactly what it sounds like, executed well and a good take on a classic. Stuffed Squid - the head chef spent some time in Taiwan and the crispy scallion pancake was perfect for mopping up the umami bomb flavour of the fish sauce tomato sauce. Dirty Potatoes - I swear the executive chef or someone ate at the Keg and got the double baked potato, or went to some other chain where they got loaded potato skins and was like "I can do this better, and with Vietnamese influences" and made it crispy and delicious. Would be a great brunch item (or perfect with beer, as the chef explained). Hangar Steak - perfect doneness and very tender. The blue cheese mam whiskey sauce was a very balanced funkiness cut by the aroma of whiskey. Delish! Sticky Pudding - the combo of caramel and lemongrass is genius. The latter adds a really refreshing note that cuts the richness and sweetness of the caramel. Paired with the coconut ice cream, this is a winner!
This place is special. You must try. Innovative, delectable 8-course tasting menu, or a la carte. Unique combination of flavors and textures, elegant plating. Global cuisine with homage to Vietnamese ingredients. Chef Curtis is a perfectionist and you can tell with each bite. Attentive, friendly service from young staff. The proper timing of eight courses is complicated, yet they executed brilliantly. Presentation of courses was seamless and each was nicely explained in both Vietnamese, and the later courses in English, upon request. This was my second visit and props to them for mastering a new menu monthly. Manageable but varied wine list and local craft beer. Great guidance on pairings. Standout, upscale but welcoming frontage and interiors. Bar seats allowing front row to the culinary skill on the open-flame grill, or more intimate booth seating near the large picture window. Fun 80s pop music in the background. An impressive feat for the talented (and handsome) chef and his crew to pull off this level of dining in Danang. Excited for the next seasonal menu!
We visited this restaurant 3 times during our stay in Da Nang. It's probably the best quality price ratio you can find. Excellent food and great cocktails. The photos show our top choices. Definitely recommended.
Hoy visitamos Westwood por cuarta vez y la experiencia nos encantó, una vez más. Probamos dos platos muy creativos, donde combinan modernidad y sabores vietnamitas. 1. Croque Madame Un plato espectacular. El pan esponjoso, la mezcla de queso y bechamel perfectamente fundidos y el huevo frito encima lo convierten en un imprescindible. El ligero toque vietnamita le da una personalidad única sin perder la esencia del clásico francés. Es generoso, intenso y reconfortante. 2. French Toast Flat Croissant Una maravilla visual y de sabor. El croissant convertido en french toast queda crujiente por fuera y tierno por dentro. Lo sirven con fruta fresca, plátano caramelizado y un topping delicioso que equilibra dulzor y acidez. El local es moderno, luminoso y perfecto para un brunch relajado. La presentación de los platos es impecable y el servicio muy amable. Volveremos seguro
I visited Westwood once for dinner when the main chef/owner was present, and the experience was genuinely good. The food, service, and overall operation were smooth and well executed. That positive first impression is precisely why I decided to return, this time for lunch, together with my partner, who is also a chef. Before coming, we made a reservation for two after reviewing both the set menu and the à la carte menu listed on Google. Upon arrival, however, the experience immediately felt different. There were two staff members in the open kitchen watching us rather uncomfortably, while another waiter stood aside using his phone. We were then presented with a breakfast and lunch menu, which we did not find appealing. We showed the staff the à la carte menu displayed on their Google listing and politely asked if it was available. The waitress informed us that that menu was for dinner only. As we were not interested in the breakfast or lunch options, we decided to stay briefly for drinks before leaving. Unfortunately, even this part was disappointing. When my partner asked whether they had a blonde beer, none of the staff could answer, and the response came across as dismissive, as if the question itself was unreasonable and we should simply choose from what was printed on the menu without asking for further details. I also asked about how the prawn–clam juice used in the Bloody Mary is made, and again, no one could provide an answer. Throughout this time, the kitchen staff were on their phones, despite the restaurant being completely empty apart from us. This experience was particularly disheartening not because it was bad on a first visit, but because it followed a genuinely good one. Returning with expectations shaped by a positive prior experience, only to encounter such a lack of professionalism and engagement, felt like a slap in the face. It is a real pity to see a restaurant with so much potential operate well only when the owner or manager is present. Consistency is fundamental in hospitality, and unfortunately, this visit showed a stark contrast to what Westwood is capable of delivering.
Highlight: Beef Borscht. I came here to try their brunch offerings. The Borscht was fantastic. it had crispy potatoes, smoked beef, sour cream and dill. There was a little twist on classic borscht. I also had my milk tea with bubbles. For dessert I’m gonna try the sticky toffee pudding which I heard is out of this world.! For sure this will be my go to place in Danang. Update: I went back and had their autumn season pumpkin cheesecake. Y’all have to try their desserts. Both the sticky pudding and the cheesecake were amazing.
Amazing foods! Nothing to complain about! A gems in a small hidden street! Every single time we eat here, the foods are perfectly cooked, BEST BEST BEST BRUNCH in Danang! Our family and friend’s favorite place! Super recommend! ❤️

WOW! WOW! WOW! Westwood is the newest gem in Da Nang! The flavor profiles are not only spot on, they are other worldly! The pho beef tartare was so amazing, like having every flavor of pho in each bite. Never had anything even close to this experience. The wok fired squid was stunning. The pork rib served with the best corn dish ever, was just amazing. Finished with the sticky toffee dessert that was crazy delicious! The restaurant is beautiful and the entire staff made me feel like a longtime family member. Westwood is a MUST visit in Da Nang. I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other dishes.
Came here with a friend on a Sunday night for the 8-course menu and wow, what an experience. Everything was fantastic from the moment we walked in. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful with a cool, casual bar vibe that would be perfect for so many different occasions – a romantic date, a celebration, or even a business meeting. The service was a real highlight. The staff were so personal and humble, and they knew the menu inside and out. And the food... it was incredible. Every single course was great, but the starters and the dessert were the absolute showstoppers. I was so hungry I ate everything way too fast, but I did manage to get a quick picture of one of the mains! You can tell the Executive Chef is a true gentleman who runs his kitchen with so much passion and professionalism. The quality is just top-notch. I honestly think if they fine-polish the menu just a tiny bit more, they are easily on the same level as Bib Gourmand restaurants in Copenhagen with a similar concept. The potential here is huge. We will definitely be back. To the whole team at Westwood, thank you for such a memorable night. Hope you all achieve your dreams, you really deserve it.
The potential michelin star hidden in the local community. The chef is magician to serve the amazing foods. As a wine lover, the wine list is surprising me! The total price is including Wine and Sparkling water, otherwise the current 8-course set cost VND650K only. Another gem you should visit when you were here.
One of the best date night restaurants in Da Nang. The restaurant has a classy, intimate vibe that’s perfect for a romantic evening. The atmosphere is warm and elegant, the staff are attentive and genuinely welcoming, and the service feels effortless from start to finish. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, making it easy to find something for any palate — whether you’re into seafood, premium meats, or lighter options. Everything we tried was beautifully presented and full of flavor. If you’re looking for a romantic restaurant in Da Nang for a special night out, anniversary, or first date, this place is absolutely worth visiting. We’ll definitely be back.
We went once. The reviews on google are gleaming but the food was underwhelming. It wasnt because the food was bad, or poorly cooked. But just because none of the dishes were delicious, it was just ok even though you could tell their technique was good. But I would say myself, or any of my relatives would have cooked a more fulfilling dish with more depth and flavour combinations, and its not about looking for complexity either. A beautifully cooked asparagus with lemon zest or a simple broccoli with garlic prawn dish would have easily been more delicious. This place was expensive by local standards. The portions were small. I dont remember what we ate, but i do remember the staff as being attentive and caring.
I visited Westwood during a short vacation in DaNang. It was after dinner time, but I’d heard great things about it and decided to stop by for a glass of wine and some bites. Based on the staff’s recommendation, I ordered the cured tuna with tamarind sauce~ umami, zesty, refreshing, and a glass of white wine, which makes a perfect pairing. I cant help but order another Pho Tartare and dessert. It was my first time dining solo, and I felt so chill and welcomed. The chefs behind the counter were kind to chat with me, and the whole team made me feel at home. The ambience is very cozy and warm. I ended up returning the next day for a proper dinner with a friend. They offer 8course set menu but we decided on alacarte. From refreshing crab and cucumber salad, their soft and pillowy potato focaccia with bone marrow butter, to umami bomb wok fried squid noodles and moist buttery sticky toffee pudding as a happy ending, I had nothing to complain about. Chef Curtis, Chef John, and the entire team are amazing at creating unique, bold, flavourful dishes using local ingredients, resulting a humble, unpretentious, and comforting dish. Big shoutout to Dan and the front house team for the warm service, helpful wine suggestions, and for making the night unforgettable. This place is truly one of a kind in Danang and an absolute must visit. The price also very reasonable considering the portions, quality, and service. Hard to get this kind of value in Saigon. Cant wait to come back!
This place is definitely a new favorite of mine in Vietnam. It's relatively new in Da Nang with a changing menu that has all the local flavors you want. Anything from local seafood to beef and local beer. My favorites were the mackerel and sticky toffee pudding. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Service was friendly and unrushed — they let us take our time, but were always there when needed. Prices were very reasonable for the quality. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.
A great addition to Danang, and the team do a great job. Charcoal ignites every dish with full flavored creations that leave you wanting more. The tuna, beef carpaccio, cream corn and squid dish are absolute winners! You won’t leave disappointed. Their wine menu is comprehensive, there’s a wine for any dish chosen!

The food here is absolutely outstanding—Chef Curtis and his team do an amazing job blending Vietnamese flavors into really unique fusion dishes.The set menu is a total game-changer if you want to try a bit of everything (the seafood and wood-fired meats are must-haves!). The vibe is super cozy and the service makes you feel right at home. It’s definitely worth the money for the quality you get. Can’t recommend it enough!"
My husband and I had a great dinner to end our time in Da Nang. We can confirm that the prior reviews are accurate and the 4.9 rating are well deserved. It is extremely rare my husband likes a dish at a restaurant, yet here he loved every dish. The combination of flavors and textures are unique and compliment each other so well. We had the Additionally, we found it very hard to find good cocktails anywhere in Da Nang, but not at Westwood. We went to multiple cocktail bars and Westwood hands down had the best dirty martini. The espresso martini was equally as amazing. Everyone from the host, waiter, and chef Curtis made our last night in Da Nang a great one. Thank you!!!
Throughly enjoyed each and every course Loved the elegant and complex yet clean twist on Vietnamese classics. Spoke to the owner and learned about each dish. Service was great as well. The cabbage was the best I’ve ever had.

Westwood is absolutely crushing it. The vibe is spot on, and the kitchen team is clearly operating at the top of their game. The Spanish cheeks gnocchi —perfectly tender, rich, and total comfort food. I was also blown away by the passion fruit sticky date pudding; the tartness of the passion fruit is a genius touch that cuts right through the sweet, buttery richness of the pudding. All the selection was amazing. From the wine selection to the refreshing hard sodas, every detail here is handled with precision. You’re in for a 10/10 experience. Hands down, one of the best spots in Da Nang!
Staff and customer service were great. Both owners were adorable, pains me to leave a bad review. Girlfriend and I opted for the 8 course menu and not a single course was great or memorable. However, ambiance was nice and cocktails tasted amazing. We really wanted to enjoy the food and have a great evening; unfortunately the food was subpar. We do wish the very best for the owners and the restaurant.

Highly recommended. Food is stellar. We had the 8-course set. Many options and as much locally sourced as possible. We got to meet the head chef along with his business partner, and both were so great to chat with. Bartender was also very knowledgeable and was very accomodating with our wishes. Compliments also to the rest of the kitchen. We had a great time here.
Our group had the 8-course set for dinner. Our favourites were the black & blue wagyu that came with crispy noodle, a fusion take on pho which was phenomenal, the seafood toast and wagyu shank. Every dish suited our palate very well. Shoutout to our server (sorry, we didn’t catch his name) for impeccable service and he was so kind to even recommend food places in Hoi An that we tried and were delicious :) Lastly, thanks to the chef for this well crafted menu. Please go to this restaurant, you won’t regret it. I’ll definitely be back if I’m ever in Danang again.
Absolutely the finest dining experience in Da Nang, and possibly all of Vietnam. The creativity and detail of every dish is truly mind-blowing, with constant surprises and flavors you've never experienced before. The set menu is thoughtful, perfectly balanced, and yet never overwhelming. Every element of the experience is infused with love, from the greeting to the service to the singular cuisine. We are so lucky to have chef Curtis in our bustling city!
Amazing dining experience. This hidden gem exceeded all expectation. The best food experience we have had so far in Vietnam. The flavors were exciting and very creative. I would 100% recommend to anyone living in Vietnam or just passing through Da Nang. Great job team.
Amazing culinary experience! Dishes you can’t find elsewhere, very unique. I appreciated it every one of them. The chef is a lovely guy, very approachable and which will make you enjoy the experience even more. His staff clearly looks like they enjoy what they are doing, it was a pleasure to look at them cooking and preparing the dishes. I would highly recommend this unique place, and would gladly come back again.

Had a wonderful time going through the tasting menu, and we were lucky enough to be guided by head chef Curtis through our meal. It was a great experience, and we will definitely be heading back if we get the chance. Thanks to all the staff at Westwood for an unforgettable dinner!

这家藏在岘港汉江后街的融合菜餐厅,以八道创意套餐闻名。主厨将越南风味与西式技法巧妙结合,布拉塔奶酪配章鱼培根、牛肉鞑靼河粉等菜品摆盘精致,口感层次丰富。环境私密雅致,适合约会或小聚。价格跨度大,从20万到100万越南盾不等,丰俭由人。不过服务水准不稳定,老板在场时体验完美,但午餐时段曾出现员工不专业的情况。建议晚餐时段前往,提前预订并选择套餐,能充分体验主厨匠心。总体而言,是岘港值得专程造访的美食地标,但需避开午餐低谷期。

Wish I could give it 6 stars! Nothing to fault! Perfect is every way and well worth a visit. We went in the evening so can’t comment on lunch service but it was 10/10 in every way! Already got 3 events coming up that we’ll go back for!
Absolutely amazing food. Been here twice and will come back. Change course set monthly and always been a hit. And we were actually full after the 8-course set. Definitely underrated !

I had dinner here on the 15th of Nov 25, and had one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. First the atmosphere: The restaurant is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The music was great and gave the dinner a very upbeat vibe. The staff were very warm, friendly and informative on the meal. Next the food: I started with a couple small appitizers, Wood-fired Potato Bread, Prawn Dumpling and the Softshell Crab. All were amazing, I was only going to have two but they were so good I had to try the Softshell crab and it did not disappoint. I followed the appetizers with the spicy squid. Which was again amazing. The Charcoal egg noodle gave it a slight smokey flavour that really set it off. It was just the right amount of spice. I also had the shaking beef, which was tender and with the crisp vermicelli was another adventure. Lastly I had the Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake and OMG, if I could have that with every meal my life would be complete. I can’t say I have ever had cheese cake quite like that. It was creamy, sweet and savoury all at the same time. The Drinks: Westwood is the only place that you can get Hoi an Brewing’s beer in Da Nang. I had their IPA which was crisp and delicious and not over hopped. I finished the night off with the Tamarind Old Fashioned. I have had many different variations of an Old Fashioned, and they usually tend to be heavy, this one seemed lighter and less weighty, which was a pleasant change. I highly recommend trying it! All in all it was one of the best dinning experiences I have had in a long time and was a very pleasant surprise. Chef Curtis and the team at Westwood are very pleasant, accommodating and warm people and they are definitely at the top of their game when it comes to cooking delicious and interesting meals.

Omg, if you are reading this review, start booking your taxi/driving there now and then finish reading... This restaurant is incredible and this is coming from a very fussy eater; we have already booked to go back in 2 days haha. The flavour profiles and execution of every dish was phenomenal, and the large size was a generous size, we were stuffed. We had the pork belly hash, lemongrass sando, sticky toffee pudding and peach fermented drink (maybe this is why we were stuffed haha). Will order it ALL again and will definitely do the brunch on a Saturday, where you can eat as much food because there is so much on the menu to try (some great veggie options too). The prices are reasonable and the quality of ingredients is of a high standard. This will be apart of our regular eats from now on, and they have a great selection that changes regularly so we cannot wait to try it. Genuinely, cannot rate this restaurant enough, which is why I have taken the time to write such a detailed review. Go, go, go! Or maybe this review will convince them to set up grab for delivery and we can order all the time haha. 🤞❤️

The staff are all perfect! Speak perfect English which is always a bonus. The food is without a doubt Michelin star level and I was very impressed with this place that I went back for lunch the next day and again for a meal 2 days later.
The food is full flavoured with a lot of smoky notes but never overwhelming. Fresh and locally sourced with some interesting twists on the classics. In a good location near the river with a lovely but comfortable interior. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was also a delicious selection of wine.
Everything was delicious. Great ambience and top culinary fusion experience. Set menu is the way to go. We will be back!

The potato bread for example with fish flakes sounds strange but was really good. The beef tartare is a bit spicy but the pho noodle hash brown is very good. They seek pork ribs by the piece (a little weird admittedly) but they’re very well prepared. The cumin goat is a twist on a Chinese dish and is really nice, unlike anything else we’ve had in Da Nang. The portions are on the small end, the prices are ok for the quality. The 8-course set menu is probably a good meal, I think you’d need that many dishes to be satisfied but it would be good! We just went a-là-carte and were impressed with the dishes we received.

There exists on YouTube an obscure Anthony Bourdain episode where he sits on a sidewalk in Hue, Vietnam and tries his best to describe the absolute delight of the culinary orgasm that he's experiencing. I get it now! Westwood is an amazing find in DaNang. In one word I can state that the food at this gem is..daring. As an experienced cook I am utterly delighted by the profiles presented here. The Spicy Squid was phenomenal, the local steak with the it's subtle flavour of game, covered in bone butter sauce was a revelation to one who eats red meat everyday. However the crowning glory was the Sticky Toffee Pudding!! At the risk of sounding hyperbolic, absolutely one of the best creations I've ever had in my life. At one point I couldn't believe what I was having! Do yourself a favour and enjoy this undiscovered treasure when in DaNang. In Bourdain's words..."This is not just food...this is what you need"
Excellent restaurant tucked away on a side street. Affable Canadian owner, who really knows his food, most of which is smoked. Both a la carte, and an interesting tasting menu. Great wine list, and English speaking staff. Definitely will be back.

I heard about this new spot from a few close friends who said it was their favorite restaurant in town...and man, they weren’t wrong. I think it’s my favorite now too. Chef Curtis is serving fine dining dishes at shockingly affordable prices. I feel lucky to have tried it before the inevitable crowd rushes in. My girlfriend and I went all in with eight dishes: wood-fired potato bread, shiso oysters, beef tartare, charred gai lan with cheese tofu, creamed corn, smashed dirty potatoes, spicy wok-fried squid, and charcoal Basque cheesecake. The wood-fired potato bread was hearty and perfectly seasoned. The fish sauce in the oysters instantly brought me back to my childhood, it tasted just like my mom’s homemade fish sauce brine. That hit of nostalgia was something special. The beef tartare was probably my favorite. It was an explosion of texture and umami with layers of pho-inspired flavors. If ingredients threw a college party, this dish would be the life of it. Then came the creamed corn. Sweet, milky, and comforting. With a mix of white and yellow corn kernels, it had depth and complexity, yet tasted like pure comfort. Honestly, it felt like being a newborn discovering the magic of mother's milk. Gentle, warm, and blissfully satisfying. Next up: the smashed dirty potatoes. A bold and brilliant tribute to Vietnam with shrimp paste, nem chua, banana blossom, mustard greens, and crispy smashed baby potatoes. Rất ngon. The spicy wok-fried squid was unlike anything I’ve had before. My taste buds were like a puppy entering a new home, slightly confused, but wildly excited. The pairing of pickled celery and squid was a surprising revelation. And finally, the charcoal cheesecake. Fluffy, lightly sweet, and worth every bite. I broke my diet for this meal, and I have no regrets. Take my money. See you again very soon. Oh yes, also shout-out to Dan for the great service and to John for the good vibes and conversation! What an amazing wine & dining experience with this new restaurant in Danang, “Westwood”. We had a beautiful degustation dinner prepared by Curtis and his team. The lovely wine pairing coming from Spanish wines, which was represented by a family member of the winery, Pablo. The pairing of food and wine was exceptional. Westwood is a super nice place for a light eat and a laidback atmosphere. Super nice and helpful staff as well (especially the hostess Dan). A must for both international and local friends! As you can see in the last pic, not a bit of food was left behind by us 😁

Wow what a hidden gem! This has surpassed all expectations. Let’s start with the food, incredible attention to detail and care with the presentation the staff explaining the ingredients in the dish. The Pho tartare, wok-fried squid and dirty potatoes were a highlight! Oh and the deserts 🤤 the staff and service are fantastic, attentive and welcoming! Curtis is a fantastic chef and host and was a pleasure to dine here. Also very reasonable for the quality and fine dining experience. I love this part of town so it’s nice to see something pop up here. Oh and the muuusic - 10/10 on the tunes 👌🏼 will be back every week no doubt 🫡

Một nơi tuyệt vời để dùng bữa tối hoặc dating. Không gian ấm cúng, nhạc hay và set menu rất ngon. Tôi đã ăn no và giới thiệu cho bạn tôi. Đặc biệt là mì mực và sốt me cho món tráng miệng. Còn món cá, last but not least, rất mọng nước và kết hợp hoàn hảo với sốt từ nhiều gia vị. Về cocktail, tôi đã thử món No name #1 và No name #3, cả 2 đều thơm vị trái cây và dễ chịu. Có đũa trong nhà hàng và điều này thật tốt cho người Việt Nam như tôi. Các chef nhiệt tình và họ sẽ thuyết minh một chút về từng món ăn khi tới lượt món đó được phục vụ. What a hidden gem!
