Quán làm rất lâu và nhân viên phục vụ quá tệ The restaurant takes a long time and the service is terrible.😡😡😡
The food was decent but the customer service needs improvement. The lady server was the one with the best service out of the three. She served nearly all the tables. She deserves a pay rise. The other two didn’t want to be there. The room is warm. My first solo experience was amazing that’s why I came back with my family. There was this man and I believe it was the owner who sat next to me opening his record book suggesting what I eat based on my nationality, it went something like this ‘if you’re from this country, a lot of my customers from this country would pick this.’ He was patient to explain what each curry contained. Gone were the days, just another soulless restaurant.
The place is small. But overall food was good except for the starter veg manchurian is not well cooked in the beginning but later done well. The highlight dishes are dal tadka, dum aloo, jeera rice, naan and finally butter milk.
The restaurant has a lot of space and a great vibe. They offer a mix of both North and South Indian dishes, and the food tastes pretty good. However, the customer service could use some work since the staff doesn't always seem attentive, even when it's not packed.
Ok place, has branch in Ho Chi Min which was better, so not meeting internal standards of food consistency and quality. There are much better options in Danang. Had food at Bhoojan before, so benchmark was high. Avoid Frankie not worth ordering.
Great authentic Indian restaurants. Offers very different dishes from your mainstream Indian and it’s all veggie which is great. The dishes I tasted were extremely good. I liked the fact that the chef came out to check on spicy level. Very good. Mango lassee was not to my satisfaction but the rest was great. Asked for a knife and promptly told they do do knives which would have been helpful for cutting the veggies but nvm but should have. The music was a video of presentation of the restaurants that looks and lasts about 10 secondes and is extremely annoying. The place is great and they should put great Indian music.
On a rainy and colder day, I have found this restaurant on Google maps with the highest number of reviews. This restaurant is completely vegetarian and serves a huge variety of Indian food with multiple cuisines. We have ordered a lot of items from the menu as we were so hungry since we skipped our lunch. Their manchow soup was not that good, we asked for Soya sauce and vinegar to balance the taste. We ordered a few starters along with the main course in which Malai kofta was the worst as koftas were so hard, tasteless with very sweet gravy. Other items are good to eat. Overall, we came out satisfied and our stomach was full. Their Tea was also good. I have seen people ordering Chai with mixed vegetable Pakoda also. The only thing I didn't like about the owner who said we accept orders on call and pack food for your journey but on the next day he denied whatever he said a day before for the parcel. So don't have a blind faith in the words of the owner and do whatever you think is good. I recommend this restaurant for dine in but not on the takeaways.
Very delicious food. My mom and I had hara bharat kebab inspire it is bit more salt but manageable and i also had paneer Angara which was delicious and also butter Naan. Alaya was very very helpful, polite and attentive to us, suggesting the dishes and asking what we like.
Very nice food in taste & service also good....... Enjoying food.....Thank U very much Sanjay bhai & Harsh bhai......meet u soon again.....
I had a dreadful experience at this restaurant. The staff was completely inattentive, barely acknowledging our presence, let alone offering any service. They left plates stacked on the table, expecting us to serve ourselves, and the same went for water—just a pitcher and glasses dumped unceremoniously for us to figure out. The food was mediocre at best. It’s a disorganized, overpriced mess. I’ll never step foot in there again and recommend you avoid it too.
We had Roti, Naan, Kadaai paneer, mixed veg curry, tawa biriyani, peas pulao and tea. The highlight was the Tawa biriyani and the tea, they were perfect!! The service was very fast and Aalaya was the one who attended us and she was very very polite and gave us the dishes on time. The cost is very similar to every other restaurant nearby, but this tasted way better than others.
Food is good. Ordered dum biryani - tasted like spicy veg rice. However, if I cooked it myself I would be proud. Atmosphere can be improved - new tables and chairs will improve the decor immediately. Overall cleanliness can be improved.
Over all Rate: 4.2/5 Ambience: 3.8/5 Staff 5/5, Sweet and Kind Food Taste: 4/5 (I liked it) Busy when I visited. Some items are available according to pre decided timings. Cost : Costly compared to equivalent Indian Prices. (2 to 3 times Costly) (Applicable to all restaurants Across Vietnam) Will visit everytime when I visit danag!
Authentic Indian Gem in the Heart of Da Nang! During my recent visit to Da Nang, I had the pleasure of dining at Gujarat Indian Restaurant for four consecutive days, and each visit was nothing short of delightful. Centrally located near the city's renowned beach, the restaurant offers a perfect blend of convenience and a serene dining environment. From the moment we walked in, the warmth and hospitality of the staff were apparent, especially Mr. Raju Bhai, the chef, who went out of his way to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. The decor of the restaurant is spacious and beautifully adorned, reflecting rich Indian cultural elements that make you feel right at home. The highlight of Gujarat Indian Restaurant is undoubtedly its food. Offering an extensive menu, the restaurant specializes in Indian vegetarian cuisine, with a remarkable variety of Kathiyawadi Gujarati dishes that are both authentic and flavorful. The comprehensive food choices are sure to cater to all palates, and everything we tried was prepared to perfection. Adding to the convenience, Gujarat is also available on the Grab Food Delivery App. We took advantage of this service on days we preferred dining in, and the food was just as wonderful in the comfort of our accommodation. I highly recommend Gujarat Indian Restaurant to all Indian tourists visiting Da Nang. It's a place where you can enjoy almost home-cooked meals and support a fantastic local business that goes above and beyond to deliver an excellent dining experience. A true culinary haven for those craving a taste of India in Vietnam!
Gujrati Indian Restaurant in Da Nang, Vietnam, has gained a reputation for delivering authentic Indian cuisine, especially with a focus on Gujarati flavors. The restaurant offers a wide variety of vegetarian dishes, including classic Indian staples like samosas, chaat, and curries. Diners have praised the flavors for their authenticity, capturing the essence of Indian spices and traditional recipes. The service is warm and welcoming, with staff who are attentive and willing to guide diners through the menu. Many customers appreciate the friendly atmosphere and prompt service. Overall, it’s a great spot in Da Nang for anyone looking to experience a slice of Gujarat through its food.
Finding indian food was one of the toughest task I faced in vietnam, finding this restaurant was the best thing for any Indian taste buds person, despite the food the service and the hospitality was very good, we were served by a Hyderabadi girl named ALIYA, she was very polite and gave us good recommendations
Not very happy with it, the food was average, portion sizes very small, not enough for 2 people. Its my 7th day in the country and its the first place I paid tax at. Not worth.
Amazing option for India and specially vegetarian. The quantity could have been little bit higher, but no complaints in foreign country taste was amazing, got Mumbai like food in Da nang
This was the first time a restaurant server seemed able to apparently read my mind! Alaya recommended the Tawa roti butter to go along with the delicious Paneer butter masala I had ordered, and the combo was spot on! Other than that, I highly recommend the dry fruit lassi - best lassi I've had, and I lived in Silicon Valley where indian food is top notch. You also know Gujarati is a quality veg restaurant because so many indian families come to dine here. The A/C was perfect (not too cold, not too warm), the only thing is the plave echoes a bit so you need to talk more loudly if your party is more than 4 people. Would definitely dine here again!
On 22nd October about 6:30PM me and my wife we went to this restorent befre me four or five persons were already getting served. We ordered Tawa biryani and two lassis. Food was served immediately in few mins. Taste was OK but look at the serving bowl in which food was served. I asked server to call the manager he told me.he.is sleeping and will come in some time. When I finshed my dinner I once again asked to call the manager he came after few mins . I showed him the serving bowl and asked him it should have been used at all ? He said.it.is only. broken and do not.think anything wrong in serving in it. Not sure if Vietnam authority do visit and check in what condition these pepole serve food to customers. Have a look at attached.picture and you decide if that should have been used at all. It dosent even look like has been broken recently.
I had a fantastic dining experience at this pure vegetarian Indian restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for a great meal. The biryani was beautifully fragrant, with perfectly cooked rice and a rich blend of spices that made every bite flavorful. The roti was soft yet slightly crispy on the edges, just the way it should be. And the aloo curry was a true delight—creamy, well-spiced, and packed with authentic flavors that reminded me of home-cooked Indian food. A special mention to Alaya, our waitress, who provided excellent service. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious and authentic vegetarian Indian cuisine. Highly recommended!
Delicious food and great service! We got the curry customised and Chef Raju provided us the tastiest customised curry. Overall great experience, great Indian cuisine taste in Da Nang, Vietnam. Plus being pure vegetarian restaurant is an add on to the vegetarians like us.
Overall very disappointing Don’t go by the rating The table wasn’t clean We had ordered SevTameta but it was totally different It’s overpriced compared to other Indian Restaurants in DaNang Wouldn’t recommend
One of the best restaurants in Da Nang to have indian cuisine that too pure vegetarian . Also the atmosphere inside the restaurant make you feel as if you are in india only.
Alaya gave best service .Best Indian👌 food by best cook yummy taste of Indian food . Its memories never ever lost...👍👌
Best Indian food i have ever had!!! (and i know good Indian food -lived in Mumbai) Warmhearted staff too👍😎Try Veg Jaipuri ...its heaven!
This is a vegetarian restaurant. You have lots of options including starters, Chinese, thali, main course etc. The food is okay. We found it bit oily.
I went here with the high rating of the shop, but it was quite a disappointing experience. 1. First of all the staff serving doesn’t fully understand the menu. She took the wrong order, and when I told the food I ordered is not the one I am served with, instead of accepting her mistake she got defensive. This was a deal breaker. Luckily the chef’s preparing the food were quite understanding, and replaced my order without questions. Even served a complimentary roti. 2. The roti I ordered was a tandoori butter roti, and the one I received was quite different from the picture on the menu. So, expect the item you receive to be different from the photograph on the menu. Perhaps, they forgot to garnish. 3. Be aware, the prices shown on the menu are tax exclusive. You will need to pay extra 8% tax on the original price you ordered with. I wonder why the prices on the menu cannot be tax inclusive. 4. If you go in hot summer, it gets very hot inside even though they have an AC and two fans. Apart from all this, the place is great for vegetarian people and they have a wide range of Gujarati dishes, though I am not so familiar with the dishes itself. They seemed very interesting and appetising.
I had a wonderful dining experience at Gujarat Indian Restaurant in Da Nang, Vietnam. The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors and a great variety of vegetarian options. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting. A special mention to “Alaya”, who was incredibly courteous and attentive, making sure we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our visit. Her hospitality truly stood out. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Indian vegetarian meal!
Food was OK. Got all the Gujju and Kathiyawadi dishes. However I felt that price were a bit expensive compared to Vietnamese and Indian standards. I ordered Undhiyu and it was very salty and tasted like a normal vegetable curry.
The chef, Rajubhai made really delicious food. Felt like I was eating at home. The manager, Sanjay also made us feel very welcomed. I would recommend everyone to come and try it at least once. I promise you will want to come back. We will be eating here next 2 days here.

Nice restaurant with Indian food. The dishes tasted good and the staff was friendly (except the one at the cash desk). It would be better if plates and bowls were not in plastic. Vegetarian options only.

The ambience is also very nice, giving a pleasant vibe to enjoy the meal. The staff is very polite and helpful. Overall, a great place for authentic food and a good dining experience. Pretty good restaurant for vegetarian food lover. Chefs creates real taste of India. I would highly recommend it. We tried chilly paneer, veg Handi , Aloo Paratha and tawa roti and loved every bit of it. Only con is staff takes time to take orders.
Chef 'Raju' saved our breakfast. He checked on us and adjusted the coffee sweetener level. Food was OK. Service definitely needs improvement. Lacks energy within the place.
The taste is very amazing here, If you are missing Indian food on your vacation you must pay a visit here. Raju seth also was very attentive to all the requirements.

Waited a long time for a waiter to come take our order. It was only 2 people and we both wanted the same thing. How difficult is that? Apparently very difficult as our order was not correct and cost us an extra amount as we got 2 orders (4 samosas) instead of one order of 2 samosas. . The food was not very good. We had dosa. It lacked those crispy edges you expect. The samosa was really oily but tasted good and the tea was served in a cheap, small paper cup. For 49,000 vnd I expect a bit more than Indian street tea. Bathroom was not clean or in proper working order. Run a restaurant like this, you run yourself right our of business
The food was good. When you come to a foreign country and get food that tastes like home, nothing feels better than that. However, the staff was very rude. We had ordered dal makhani and two rotis, and also dal khichdi. Later, he brought an extra roti. When we asked why he brought an extra roti, he said that we had ordered it. We clearly told him that we did not order it, but he still insisted and said it could not be cancelled. His behaviour was very rude and unprofessional. Overall, it was not a good experience. In India, we say “Atithi Devo Bhava” (Guest is God), but here, abroad, they were arguing over just one roti. Very shameful behaviour from a Gujarat restaurant.
A very average experience overall. The food wasn't the best. It was not bad either but nothing exceptional. The prices were slightly on the higher side compared to other Indian restaurants in the vicinity, while they had better tasting food as well. I don't have anything to complain though, as the staff were polite and respectful. We might have missed on the good tasting food as the paneer kofta we had ordered wasn't soft and the gravy was standard. I believe their expertise lies in the gujurati cuisine.
I have been eating masala dosa’s here almost every day of my stay in Da Nang. The staff is super friendly.
The food tastes exactly like that in India. The service is good, amazing ambience and excellent tasting food
Very bad experience, all items were sweet. Even fried rice was also sweet. Waste of money.
Awesome taste indian food we loved it thank you so much
Best Indian and Gujarati food and the service is also best and the interior and atmosphere is on point
Good indian food tummy full extreme authentic taste
Just had some absolutely delicious Indian food! 🤤 The flavors were so rich and authentic. Everything was perfectly spiced, and the service was top-notch. Seriously, you guys are doing it right! If you're craving some amazing Indian cuisine, you have to check this place out. #IndianFood #Foodie #Delicious #GoodEats
I expected very good hospitality but unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The food is heavily priced, and the person managing the orders behaved extremely rudely. After coming to a foreign country, we naturally crave Indian food. We ordered pani puri, but it was prepared incorrectly. When we politely requested a correction, we were rudely told that it could not be done. This led to an argument, and the person even took the plate away aggressively, which was completely unacceptable. Outside India, when you look for Indian food, you expect at least basic courtesy and understanding. We had planned to eat here for an entire week, but due to this ill-mannered behavior, it completely ruined our mood and day. The food itself was just okay. I do not recommend visiting this restaurant—there are much better places available with better food and, most importantly, better staff behavior. .
Huge meal for one person pretty good value just a hair on the high side. I wish everything wasn’t all a carb a dish should automatically come with rice.
Having been away from home, we really looking forward to Gujarati food. I've eaten in many indian restaurants around the world. ( see my review numbers) and this was one of my worst experiences. Half the dishes on the menu was unavailable, the salted lassi was so salty, it was in drinkable. The waiter was rude, and the prices were too high. I wouldn't recommend people going there.
Gujarat serves authentic flavors—some of the best Indian food abroad! Lunch was delicious, though a bit overpriced for the portions. Great taste, just wish the quantity justified the premium price.
My husband and I wanted very mild food. We were served with exactly what we wanted. The service was good. Friendly atmosphere. We will definitely try Gujarat in the different places when we are travelling.
We ordered Jain food was Very good taste. Must try
I am in travel agent from India my company name happy journey holidays my all group members take dinner in this restaurant and was very delicious and tasty everyone give me very very delicious meal and great service
We came to Gujarat Indian restaurant, the food was actually delicious and tastes exactly like food in India . Love the service and vibe here.
Liked the food very much and as a Gujarati jain we were looking for such restaurant in Da nang
We had dinner at this restaurant today. It's absolutely overrated, extravagantly priced restaurant with average food and arrogant staff. We will never eat here again
I ordered 3 paneer parantha takeaway for my kid. Specifically asked them for tawa parantha without chilli. They gave thick tandoori parantha.
Love the food and staff very friendly and superb tasty food for vegetarian people who are searching for home food the best place
Great ambiance and food is good too..must try..they even have jain options a lot..
Very good authentic pure veg gujrati food must not miss by visiting tourist of india
V nice food and hospitality amazing Indian food, best food we had in da nang
Loved the food here. A must visit place if you are in Danang
Best Gujarati authentic test Alaya was so supportive and kind to help 😊 …
The atmosphere, the food was really nice. I think it is the best Indian food restaurant in Da nang, Vietnam. The daal menu specifically, we really liked. We are a family of four with two kids. It was really nice having food in Gujrat da nang, and for service specific please ask for Alia. She's a real sweetheart and takes care of her orders really well. We had dinner for two nights and breakfast for one day. Chai was also good.
Finding truly authentic Indian food outside India is rare—but this place delivers, flawlessly. Every dish reflects depth, balance, and honesty of flavour that immediately resonates with Indian taste buds. The dal khichdi is comforting and soulful, the sabzi is fresh and well-spiced, the kofta rich and indulgent, and the dal makhani slow-cooked to perfection—creamy, robust, and deeply satisfying. The absolute standout, however, is the fulka. Soft, light, and perfectly cooked, it genuinely feels like ghar ki roti—something even many restaurants in India struggle to achieve. That one detail alone speaks volumes about the kitchen’s commitment to authenticity. Eating here feels less like dining out and more like being transported home, which is incredibly special in a foreign land. Adding to the experience is the warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable staff who make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. A must-visit for anyone craving real Indian food, done right.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent food and great service! The flavors were outstanding, portions were generous, and everything was fresh and well prepared. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The ambiance was clean and comfortable, making it a perfect place to dine with family or friends. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be coming back!
One of the best places for Indian food in Da Nang. The service was excellent! Special thanks to Alaya. She was a great server, very attentive and welcoming. Definitely will be back for some more Nan Cheese and Paneer Butter Masala
Yesterday I had given this review “Wonderful Gujarati and Punjabi food !!!”. However, right after we finished our meal they insisted and literally took my phone and added the review. Me and my family fell sick & got food poisoning after eating a meal here. Clearly, food was not freshly cooked.

Excellent food quality for authentic 100% veg food. Very good service and excellent staff! Feels like home cooked food away from home.
Food was not gr8. Dal khichadi was tasteless and Quantity also less. Masala papad was just fried papad and separate tomato and onion was given. Overall food taste was nt as per the cost

Very nice, vegetarian Indian meal - quiet authentic - and made a very pleasant change during a holiday. Service by Alaya was very good.
Really rude staff, they don’t listen to any issues or requests. All Food is extra spicy and not suitable for kids or adults. The restaurant space is quite cramped.

This is a wonderful pure veg restaurant in Da nang. We have been to Phu quoc, Hanoi but never tasted such a food not even in India. Staff is so polite and courteous especially Ms Alaya and Manager Mr Ajay. We reached restaurant at closing time however they have welcomed us without any complaints or fuss. They asked us several times if we intend to order anything else, let us finish our dinner in peace. Five stars for cook as well.
I visited as part of a group tour and the food was absolutely delicious. Never thought I would get proper Gujarati food in Vietnam. Aaliyah was excellent, she looked after all of us really well. Thank you Aaliyah!!
Dining at gujarat indian restaurant was a delightful experience from start to finish. The food was exceptional, the staff attentive, and the ambiance perfect for a cozy evening. Highly recommended!" Specially the manager ajay's response to the costumer was too good.
Such a good place! The food was so comforting, it feels like home. (You also get that indian spice you crave overseas!) Our server Alaya was so nice, it added to the experience. Highly recommended!
Great food for Vegetarian Indians. Authentic taste with good service providing Jain food too. They also have branches in Ho Chi Min and Hanoi. Alaya here, was very kind and friendly.
Loved the food, just what you need after a long day of travel. The service was quick and the staff was very polite. Highly recommend this place for vegetarians.
Amazing food. We had Paneer chilly, dal tadka and rice all was great, butter naan was good. Veg angara was ok. And cold coffee was ok ok.
Food was awesome. If you are pure vegetarian & jain, this place is the only thing you need. Good food, good vibe, good staff especially Alaya.

Good homely food for Indian travellers to Da Nang Great service by Alaya !
: Extremely Disappointing Experience – No Empathy for Kids We had a very unpleasant experience at Gujarat Restaurant, Da Nang. Being in an unknown country, we expected at least some basic understanding and empathy from a restaurant serving Indian food. Unfortunately, this was far from the case. The staff and manager showed absolutely no consideration for kids. When we requested a little curd for a child’s khichdi, the manager casually told us to “mix it with water” — which was both insensitive and shocking. Even foreigners are far more considerate toward children’s needs. To make things worse, they charged us for a small piece of jaggery and even for glass crockery that the kids accidentally broke — something that could have been handled with basic understanding. The food itself was overly spicy, which doesn’t suit children at all, and their attitude throughout was purely transactional, focused only on money rather than hospitality. We travel extensively, but this was by far one of the most disappointing experiences — not because of the food, but because of the lack of basic human empathy. I sincerely hope they learn that hospitality isn’t just about serving food, it’s about treating guests — especially families with kids — with kindness and respect.
One of the best pure veg restaurant that we dined at da nang. Slightly costly but the food is very tasty and whatever ordered was good.Breakfast is also availableand we had breakfast, lunch and dinner here.
I would have given -1 rating but there isn’t an option. If you want to have food dont come here because you would not get it. We didn’t receive half of our order after waiting for an hour and more.
I am travelling in Vietnam since 7 days but such mouthwatering Indian food not eaten any other reasturant. Excellent !
Good place , may be crowded but those who wants pure vegetarian or jain food it's very good
Quán làm món quá lâu. Dịch vụ quá tệ. Tôi chẳng thể hiểu được
Went with high hopes but left pretty disappointed. Ordered gujarati thali hoping to get quick service but had to wait 25 min for thali. Service was sluggish. Paneer pakoda was probably one of the worst I had, and papad they served was shining and dripping with oil. First sip of lemon soda left 6 lemon seeds in my mouth (they didn’t bother to even remove seeds). In summary, Expensive, slow and serving bad food.
Gujarat Indian Restaurant in Hanoi & danang is an excellent place for vegetarians. The food is delicious, with many Indian options available. The service is good, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality vegetarian food in Hanoi & Danang.
We recently visited this restaurant during our trip to Da Nang after reading several good reviews. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The food quality did not justify the high prices, especially when compared to other Indian restaurants in the area that offer much better taste and value. I would not recommend visiting this place solely based on the positive reviews. The food was average, and the portion sizes were quite small. We ordered Paneer Handi and Tawa Roti, specifically asking for the dishes to be spicy, but they turned out much milder than expected. Overall, it was not a satisfying dining experience.
We went for dinner on 02/Oct. Service was ok, mostly Vietnamese floor staff but very less interaction with customers. Food served was extremely spicy. How can sev-tameta be such hot? In gujarat its sweet and tangy as well. Anyways we promptly informed manager. May be place is busy with tour groups from India.
Gujarat Indian Restaurant is the perfect spot if you’re looking for tasty vegetarian food and authentic Indian dishes. The flavors are rich, freshly prepared, and truly satisfying. The Kathiyawadi food was especially very, very nice — full of traditional taste that reminded me of home. The staff are welcoming, the service is quick, and the atmosphere is comfortable for families and groups. If you’re in Da Nang and craving real Indian vegetarian food, this is definitely the place to visit!
Best place for Indian and Gujarati Food in Vietnam....
Great food. Clean and spacious. Prompt service.
Must visit Gujrat restaurant to enjoy delicious, authentic Gujarati cuisine! Words cannot express the feeling so please check out your self. We’re always checking their locations wherever we visit to enjoying home food without being at home. All the dishes we’ve tried are delicious but close your tabs with chai to be in haven…😋 …
We went to the restaurant, thinking it would be great, looking at the reviews and the menu, but what we received is very disappointing, for almost 1200k a basic dal and rice was so less that it couldn't be sufficient for a single person, the taste was average service was fine, we have been in Vietnam for some time now and this was the worst so far, there are plenty of restaurants near by i would suggest choosing them over this, so you feel good about what you are paying for.
The place is near to beach, and it's pure veg restaurant. Taste wise it really good, have tried it multiple time, but it is one of the expensive Indian restaurant in Danang. I liked their gujrathi menu, even dosa was good . But not pocket friendly.
Hot environment and cold robotic service. Took some time to get anyone’s attention. They left the door open to allow all the hot air in. Food was okay but I wouldn’t return. No sense of appreciation. The branch in HCMC is far superior.
This place is really disgusting. The service is awful and the toilet smells like urine. It is really hard to have any appetite at all after you visit their toilet. We took a few bites of the food, then paid and left.
I think food is much better than India, I guess😅. It is very delicious, I recommend every gujjus should visit here. …
The taste of the food is very good, but the service is extremely poor, especially for customers who are not dining with family. Hospitality is very poor.
Great taste overall but a little pricey. Taste of few dishes like dosa could be improved, e.g paneer dosa.
Food is delicious but Such a Expensive Restaurant 😅😅 …
Inauthentic, prepared food and not recommended unfortunately. During our years of traveling through Southeast Asia, we fell in love with Indian food and therefore tried an incredible number of Indian restaurants. Unfortunately, I have to say that I was very disappointed with Gujarat. The food was clearly prepared, not freshly made and not authentically Indian in taste. Based on the many good reviews, I had expected something different. However, after our visit, I can also imagine where the many good reviews come from. You are asked several times during the meal and vehemently told to please leave a 5-star rating. A QR code is immediately brought to you to scan so that you can leave a good review on the spot. It goes without saying that you feel compelled to leave a good review directly in the restaurant and that it is difficult to give an honest rating. We were told several times to write a review straight away and when we replied that we would do it later at home, we were "asked" a few more times to do it straight away. Something that is not only intrusive and rude and does not belong in a good restaurant or to customer friendliness but also coerces the guest in a certain way. An absolute no-go! I would have overlooked that if the food had been good. We chooses this place because of the vegan dishes. In reality, there are vegan dishes, but only a few to choose from. The food is obviously already prepared, so there is no option to modify certain dishes according to allergies or intolerances. This would be fine if the prices weren't also significantly higher than in other Indian restaurants that prepare their food fresh and according to the customer's wishes. I had the feeling that they really wanted to impose their "recommendations" on us, even if they didn't meet our wishes. For example, we wanted Hara Bhara Kebab (actually possible in vegan) as a starter and Vegetable Manchurian. They told us, hara bhara kebabs cannot be made vegan (which has NEVER been a problem in other Indian restaurants) and instead of the crisp vegetable manchurians, they vehemently tried to sell us honey chili potato. The curry we chose was not vegan either, which is why we accepted their recommendation when they discreetly pointed it out. We were also persuaded to try the honey chili potato. We also ordered rice and a lacha paratha. The different dishes were all brought one after the other, with a long time in between, so that some of them were already cold before the rest arrived. We had asked for everything to be brought together beforehand. It's also pointless to serve a curry without rice. We were particularly disappointed by the highly praised honey chili potato. These were deep-fried snack bar chips with a tomato sauce on top. We even explained that we were expecting potatoes with an Indian sauce instead of fries. We were then told several times (already slightly irritated) that the menu also says "sliced potato". Yes, that's true, but then you don't expect ready-made chips in an Indian restaurant, do you? Well, a little more understanding and customer friendliness would have been nice here. Another negative aspect was that we couldn't hold a conversation for 2 minutes while eating as we were constantly being spoken to. Perhaps this was meant as a nice, but it rather spoiled our evening. We were also often asked if something was wrong because we waited with the dishes we ordered until the rice was finally brought. We also mentioned this several times, but were asked about it again after another 5 minutes. It was probably kindness, but we still had the feeling that we were not understood. Unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly good either. The paratha was dry, the fries were limp, the curry was okay but nothing special in terms of taste and the crispy vegetable manchurian reminded me a little of frozen vegetables that had been deep-fried. The price for everything here was almost twice as high as in other Indian restaurants in Da Nang. So unfortunately I cannot recommend Gujarat at all.
They have absolutely delicious chana masala and cheese naan (everything else was delicious too — we also ordered kaju curry, cooked vegetables, paneer and roti). Love this place
So good, they are very good the service, they change my drinks even though its my fault that i choose the wrong drinks. Reccommended.
Best and very helpful people employed here. Very good behaviour and top class taste. Authentic indian taste. Reasonable price for food and ambience. …
We had an amazing food at the Gujarat. The taste of food takes you to homeland! The staff is very attentive and polite. We felt welcomed from the time we entered. …
Good vibes, 100% vegetarian Indian restaurant in close proximity to beach, serving cuisines from all over India. If you are around, do try your favorite dish and I'm sure you'll feel the taste of India in every bite.
Unfortunately, the food is not worth the money they are charging. I have had a lot better Indian food in Vietnam in almost 25% lesser price.. I respectfully urge them to increase their food quality..
Hi Everyone I just wanted to share my experience which was totally new for me too as I visited this place it’s not worth going to this restaurant the man who sits on the billing counter with spects, speaks Gujrati is too rude and …
Best Indian tea of Vietnam. Amazing Gujarati dal. Fast services and polite staff! Must must go! Gives u relief after a tiring day, feels homely! Indians must try!

Had a dinner at the restaurant this week. The food and service were good. However I was given “Temporary Invoice” which i didn’t notice until I was back in the Hotel. Is this to avoid Tax?

Omg! Discovering this restaurant only minutes from my hotel made my day. There is food on this menu that you actually hardly see on a menu in India! Kichidi, besan gatta, even poha! All kinds of pukka comfort khanna.
Good for Indians . If any one searching for pure veg restaurant in Danang can surely visit here
Food is really deliciuous and paneer lababadaar is feeling fresh to have and taste is very authentic i recommend everyone to give it a try
Gujarat Indian Restaurant in Da Nang is a fantastic spot for authentic Indian vegetarian food. They offer delicious Jain-friendly meals, making it ideal for those with dietary restrictions. The Gujarati and Punjabi thalis are truly the highlights—flavorful, wholesome, and satisfying. Each dish is freshly prepared and reflects traditional Indian taste and hospitality. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and located at a convenient spot for tourists and locals alike. Service is warm and friendly, and they are happy to customize dishes as per your needs. The dinner we had was delicious….it satisfied our soul..thank you to the staff and owner of the restaurant♥️♥️♥️
Service is outstanding especially a guy named Bin provided a very nice service, food was delicious too
Excellent and tasty Food, quick service, highly recommended in DaNang
Good Pure Vegetarian food!! Love it
Alaya was a wonderful waitress: very attentive and polite. We ordered: Veg manchurian dry and gravy, Dal Tadka, Mushroom masala, Garlic naan and Fresh lime soda. All of the food was delicious, we particularly enjoyed the mushroom masala, the sauce was amazing! My partner and I are English and we eat a lot of Indian food. This was one of the best Indian restaurants we have been to recently. Thank-you, Gujarat!
Visited Gujarat Restaurant looking for a good vegetarian Indian meal. The place is fully vegetarian and doesn’t serve alcohol, which is great for those looking for a pure veg dining experience. We tried the chilly paneer, naan, and malai …
Sanjay was really helpful with the food recommendation. We first started with Pani Puri that is a famous street food in India, followed by Paneer Butter Masala with garlic and cheese naan. The Naan was fresh and really good dipped with the …
Legitimately some of the best Indian food I’ve eaten - and I eat a lot. The cheese garlic naan is great, the right balance of soft, crispy with a good amount of melty cheese. Staff are kind and cool. Thank you
Food is really yummy and we would love if you open your branches in all the places in Vietnam and especially in tourist places and would feel really happy if you keep dosa in the evening as well and not to mention especially about service …
The food was good, proper Indian. All Indian cuisines were available. Homely feeling and good location. In our stay of 3 days we had all of our meals here
Ordered the pani puri and the aloo was spoilt and restuarant was out of ice for coke. Water was not served …
Third class service. Staff is less and bad. Never expected such bad food. We ordered paneer butter masala and found noodles inside it . Saw huge rat crawling on the ceiling. Never ever recommendable. Sincere request to the owner that if it is not possible too manage in other cities then shut it down. Very disappointed.
Làm món quá lâu
Ordered Hyderabadi veg biryani. Kuch bhi Bana ke dediya bhai ne. Normal rice KO Kisi gravy me fry kr ke dediya. Avoid Gujarati Restaurant, there are many Indian veg and non veg restaurant.
Best restaurant in da nang.. delicious food.. gujrati food, try chapati. paneer tawa masala dal tadka jeera rice ,chaii 🥰 Everything perfect must visit..😍🤩 don't try gajar halva average

Tuyệt vời
Hơi chật..nhân viên hơi khó chịu

Very good food. Lassy is particularly fabulous. Owner gave us delicious complementary Indian Tea. When we wished to carry the rest of the food home, They even wrapped it for us super carefully and nicely in tin paper and put it in a beautiful red bag with spoons included. Beautiful and delicious place to visit during your stay in Da Nang.
Delicious food and great service. Came here craving some great Gujarati food and this place did not disappoint. It was actually tough to just order a few things as we wanted everything. Great chat with one of the staff too who asked where we were from and told us a bit about his region in India as well as another place. Super friendly. Looking forward to coming back for breakfast or any other meal there.
This would and might be rated one of the best Indian Restaurant in Da Nang. The staff are locals who did pronounce the dish's correctly. Kudos to that. The Chef are Indians who mostly are in the Kitchen. The food is really good and tasty. Its a must visit for the folks who are seeking Indian Veg Food. The price is pretty reasonable and the teste of the food is amazing. There is ample parking at the front and on the street. The restaurant has a pretty good interior and ample amount of seating at the ground and first floor.
I was in dannag for 4 nights. Everyday i was here for the food. The food was simply delicious. I couldn't blv i can get so good taste and food here in danang/vietnam. The taste was not what u sometime get in India also. So one can understand how good it was that we had to go here everyday and not try other options available. The cook bhagwan ji is good and Ishwar the managing person. Location is also just behind the beach walkable distance.
Curries are good but service and other food very bad, staff barely has time to take order or understand the order. They are busy buttering big group people for google reviews. Couples or singles or small groups they Dnt have time to take orders as well. We were constantly asked if we want to order something else as they had another 6 people group waiting to sit and they didn’t want to open the done in upstairs. Absolutely ridiculous , that 6 people group were made to stand beside our table on our head so we finish quick!!!! Confidence is good!! Overconfidence spoiled it!!
I'm not usually one for vegetarian meals, but this place surprisingly served excellent vegetarian Indian food. All the dishes I tried were great. I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in Da Nang! 😊
Super tasty, authentic food - just like you get in India. Since I went late afternoon, I only ordered some snacks - aloo chat & paani puri. The owner/manager kindly gave me a masala tea on the house. Will be back for dinner soon! 👌👌
Feels totally like home, DaNang being the most beautiful city in whole Vietnam, Gujarat Restaurant being the cherry on top:- beautiful location, mesmerising ambience, and finger biting Indian food and completely vegetarian too, a heaven for Indian vegetarian foodies ❤️ Talking about the staff, they’ve become family in just couple of days, really sweet 😇
The place was decently clean and the employees were all really friendly. They were surprised to hear that I could speak Vietnamese since I don’t look Viet lol! Overall, the food that I had was all really good. I can’t say how authentic it tastes because I am not Indian but I can at least say that it tastes good in general. I also had a sweet lassi drink that I forgot to take a picture of that was really satisfying. Creamy, bright, and tart. When I come back to Da Nang in the future, I’ll definitely hit this place back up :)
One of the best Indians I’ve ever had. Everything was perfect and Prince the owner went above and beyond to make sure I had a nice dining experience. If you are in DaNang and want a break from local cuisine, you have to come here!
Food was good but the drink (Fresh lime soda)was not upto the mark. Visited with my Polish vegan friend. We enjoyed it as they made sure spice levels were made to suite our pallets.
Attached photos are baigan Bharta and gujarati Undhyu. They were not even close to the ones. No taste at all in any of the food we ordered. The owner looked very gumpy and didn't take my order until 15 minutes. When we went to change the order for one of the curries within 2 minutes of we placed the order, he answered very abruptly saying the veggies are cut and can't change the order. He could have said that nicely too. He was also scolding his staff which is not a nice environment for the employees as well as customers. Worth give a try to other indian restaurants in the area.
The food and services here are amazing. I don’t eat vegetarian food as often as I would like but today I really wanted some. Whole thing was perfect. Owner is super nice and brought me a house salad for free. I had a salt lassi which I never had before, but it was amazing. I also had a veggie curry with some charcoal roti - which I prefer because it’s not as heavy as naan. They also brought me a classic Indian tea, which I thought would be too sweet but it was all perfecto.
Very good and delicious food. Good people, good service, good taste. Good ambience. Good options for Indian dishes. With large variety of Indian dishes, You get gujarati thali and punjabi thali options also
If you are visiting Da Nang they you surely need to visit this restaurant, if you Gujju then you don't need to think twice before coming to this place. Super friendly gujju owner & surely you gonna feel like you are eating in india bcz all the people here are talking in hindi which feels like you in india. Best Indian food in whole vietnam ❤️🫶🏻 Do visit if you want quality food & best indian food. Loved it.
Wow 🤩 its amazing indian veg restaurant in da nang. We are really happy with food item taste and fast service. Highly recommended to any vegetarian indian who wants to taste indian food in da nang area. Prize of food items are also reasonable. Restaurant is on walkable distance from sea shores.
Getting Jain in any country other than India is difficult but Gujarat Indian Restaurant serves almost entire menu in Jain. Menu is widely spread across Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Tried below dishes in Pure Jain Form Home away from home is enough to understand the taste and emotions. Day 1: Breakfast - Idli Sambhar - Butter Dosa Lunch - Paneer tikka masala - Butter tawa Roti Dinner - Manchurian Fried Rice - Panner Chilli with Gravy Day 2: Lunch - Sev Tomato - Butter tawa Roti - Butter Milk Dinner - Paneer tufani - Butter tawa Roti - Cheese Naan Day 3: Dinner - Sev Tomato (again because it made us Homesick)
If you’re vegan and want to eat vegan Indian food, this is a great place. There are a LOT of vegan options to choose from. The owner was really nice and explained everything we could order and even altered for example the garlic naan so it was served without butter. So fellow vegans who are in the mood for Indian food - this place has tons of tasty food options to choose from 😄😊
1st time visitor for lunch today. I ordered a vegetarian Thali which is perfect for a solo diner. Food was delicious and appropriately served hot or cold depending upon the dish. Service was impeccable with management offering substitutions on beverages included w the meal. Comfortable and clean atmosphere. Will return as Indian food is one of my absolute favorite meals. Note: Vegan only menu but with rich tasting veges and curries you won't miss the meat:-)

Home away from Home! If you miss Pure Veg Indian Food in Danang or in Ho Chi Minh City this is the perfect place..
We ordered pink sauce pasta and cold coffee. I can believe in a country like vietnam how people can sell bad coffee. It tasted awful. Pasta was more sweeter. Not a good experience overall
Amazing and authentic pure Vegetarian Indian Food Restaurant. Rajasthani Dal is a must try. No alcohol is served here so it is family friendly too. …
This place brought all the food at once including starters so the main went cold. Food was sweet and not authentic . Staff were rude and brought the wrong item when I re ordered chapatti and brought nan instead. A larger group arrived who prioritized over us. Masala papad was stale. Salad had hair in the tomato, go to Maazi instead
Amazingly tasty 100% pure vegetarian Indian food..... We have experienced the best of the best services and good quality..... 1000% recommendation to the restaurant.

Delicious Indian. Some dishes I had never tried or even heard of from Gujarat province near Surat in India. Rajwadi Khichadi (spiced rice and cauliflower) and Kaju Gathiya (medium spicy cashew curry) so good!
Very good food. Lassy is particularly fabulous. Owner gave us delicious complementary Indian Tea. When we wished to carry the rest of the food home, They even wrapped it for us super carefully and nicely in tin paper and put it in a …
