Очень крутое место, дофига текилы! Даже Сотол есть! Можно к коктейлю выбрать обводку из муравьев!) Атмосферно, клевый балкон и гекконы которые там иногда бегают за попкорном) бармены хорошо говорят по английски. Жаль еды мало, сверчки вкусные) Хотел бы такой барчик в Питере :(

Отличный выбор познакомиться с мексиканским мескалем и просто с удовольствием провести вечер. Коктейли были чудесные. Пива здесь нет, имейте в виду.

Massive selection of high quality Mezcals and Tequilas. Prices are quite high but fair as you got a gracious 4-5 cl shot poured per order. Attentive service and gloomy speak easy atmosphere. Delicious bar food from the restaurant below, but takes quite some time to be prepared.

Amazing mezcal and tequila bar in the heart of Hoi An. Pricier compared to other bars but if you want artisanal mezcal and curated cocktails, this is definitely the place to be.

Amazing cocktail lounge. You will pay western prices, but it is more than worth it for the expertly crafted cocktails you get. We had the Libertad and Sabrosita. Libertad was next level, it’s a must try.

A great find. If you are in Hoi An and love cocktails you should try this place. It's deceiving from the outside but lovely inside and has a nice deck too. Drinks were lovely, as was the service. They serve food from the Mexican downstairs but I'd say stick with the chips and dips as we had the Queso Flameado and it wasn't great in my opinion. Took ages (which we were told it would so that's fine) but just uninspiring. Loved the bar and the staff were efficient and friendly too.

Dark and vibey and a little more on the expensive side. I appreciate the free popcorn (I got 3 mini bowls in total!). This place is great for whisky and tequila lovers.

Beautiful place. Elegant and private atmosphere. Young staff but they really know what they are doing! We went to the restaurant downstairs and ordered a cocktail from the bar. The flavors are authentic, and I had probably one of the best cocktails in my life combining mezcal and laphroaig. Excellent place.

Nice ambiance and drinks were good. However I would expect a higher degree of cocktail quality based on the price charged. Menu is too large and overwhelming. Drinks are too elaborate and the final product ends up with muddled flavours.

This place was cool, original and an amazing unexpected find. They have a highly varied and original set of Mezcal and tequila cocktails that will keep you thinking about whether to have one more or simply come back the next day to keep exploring their drink menu. Very friendly and quick and efficient service and the place is full of interesting nooks and crannies with bar seating, outside seating and inside seating available, and plenty of cool loungy Mexican music.

Very cool bar for being in Old Town, beautiful interior and great ambience. Solid selection of drinks, apart from their Mezcal-based cocktails. Negroni is my go-to, and their Mezcal Negroni was top!! Also loved the spicy margaritas, you can even choose your rim! Staff are super friendly and welcoming. If you’re around on a Saturday, don’t miss the live jazz from a French dude - he’s incredible!

Nice, atmospheric candlelit lighting inside, staff are very professional and attentive. Cocktail selection - especially Mezcal-based - is amazing. Prices are a little on the pricey side for Asia however.

Please please go to this bar and get the Xi muôi margarita with the spicy and sour plum salt rims. It will genuinely scratch an itch in your brain you didn’t know existed. The vibe and service was also top notch. 10/10!!

Excellent cocktail bar, one of the best in Hoi An no question. Extensive list of mezcals, and a good mix of classic cocktails with a Mexican and Vietnamese spin. Top tier mezcal Negroni, delicious and varied spicy margaritas with a choice of salts. Service was brilliant, drinks were high quality, and the balcony is a great place to people watch. Loved it.

Absolutely amazing margaritas here! They have a huge and informative menu here with a range of options (sweet, sour, spicy, various salts for the rim etc.). The service was also great. If I had longer in Hoi An, I would return to this place and explore the menu more! Fantastic place.

I absolutely loved this cocktail bar! The margaritas were some of the best I’ve ever had while travelling. The ambiance was so inviting, with just the right mix of cozy and stylish, making it a great spot to relax with friends. A special shoutout to the staff, who were friendly and attentive, and kept refilling our popcorn bowl (which was free!) without us even having to ask. Such a nice touch. Can’t wait to come back!

Not a big mezcal fan but we were told this is the 2nd best bar in Hoi An - with the Market Bar being the 1st (opened by the same owner apparently). The bar is very hidden, the interior and vibes are amazing, the speakeasy-ness is on point. The only thing was - we chose to sit outside on the patio at first - and there were SO MANY COCKROACHES crawling on the railing (in the dark) we had to move inside. Coming from Taiwan I know these bugs are a pain in the 🍑 so I didn’t let that take too much away from our experience there. The drinks were great, our bartender was very friendly and gave us recommendation to our next bars

A must for a pre or post dinner cocktail. The best cocktails and the scallops were insanely good. Bar tenders were attentive and remembered every 50+ cocktail on the menu. So good we went in for one, stayed for 3.

An absolutely superb cocktail bar. Amazing service and a great extensive list of cocktails. A particular shout out to the staff who made us feel very welcome and speak to us for sometime at the bar. I want to start by saying the staff here are AMAZING. The owner should be proud of how well they make cocktails, their knowledge and passion about all of the drinks available. They are so fun and friendly. The drinks are marvellous too. So good!!! We came back three nights in a row. We loved it so much. Special thanks to Hùng who looked after us and helped us choose cocktails and served us our favourites. Would recommend this place!!

The focus on Tequila and Mezcal sets this place apart, and every cocktail we tried was creative, high-quality, and full of character. Each drink was perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and clearly crafted with care and expertise. Even if you’re not usually a fan of agave spirits, this bar will likely change your mind with its refined and imaginative approach. We were lucky to get a table on the beautiful balcony overlooking the lively pedestrian street of the old town. It was the perfect setting – vibrant and full of energy, yet relaxed and intimate at the same time. The service was excellent: attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. A nice extra touch was the complimentary popcorn served with our drinks – simple, but thoughtful. We were also pleasantly surprised by the prices: at 100,000 to 200,000 VND per cocktail, the value for money is fantastic. For this level of quality, it’s more than worth it. A truly memorable experience – we’ll definitely be coming back!

This deserves every 5 star rating. The margaritas are unbeatable and worth the price. The mocktails are worth a note as well—sweet (but not too sweet), fruity and delicious. The service was very attentive and friendly and the ambience is very romantic. I will recommend this to everyone.

A solid Speak Easy style bar in Hoi An with a relaxing atmosphere, solid drinks and a great feel overall. I was here with a guide and the snacks along with their adult beverage was excellent. Feels like a great date spot or a spot to get your tequila drinks in. I’d definitely come back here again in the future.

I had an amazing time at this bar! Big thank you to Adam, dude I met at the wine shop for this recommendation! I had 4-5 cocktails and they were all on point. I’m a big tequila and mezcal fan and these guys absolutely nailed it! They have fancy pepper and herb infused spirits they incorporate into their cocktails which adds a special element to your drink. The bartenders were all super friendly and showed me a great time! Great atmosphere and if I’m ever back in town it’s a must! Also fun fact, they’re the first tequila/mezcal focused cocktail bar in the country, and doing an awesome job!

God bless the dude that gave us that recommendation! This is not just a hidden gem, this is margarita heaven! And tequila heaven. Yes you pay a little more than in the other cocktail bars where it’s 50:50 if you wake up the next day blind or not - but if I say a little I mean a little. We paid about 1.000.000 for 4 different margarithas (all amazing!!!) and 2 Rosa tequila (oak barrel and used for red wine before) - we constantly got refill on free water and popcorn. The service was more than attentive! Loved it! Wish we found out some days earlier - we would’ve spend here every evening!!!

Fantastic find in Hoi An! This atmospheric bar specialises in agave with an extensive menu I’ve never seen elsewhere, including cocktails and mezcal flights. The La Tarte cocktail was fabulous - well balanced with chilli-infused tequila and tamarind, and you can choose your own rim (Himalaya sea salt, chilli salt, etc). My partner enjoyed a sample of 3 mezcal shots with slices of salted orange on the side. The mixologists were friendly and knowledgeable. My only criticism would be the live music. The performer wasn’t bad but it was just too loud for the space and made it impossible to talk. But I’d still highly recommend this bar in Hoi An.

Ok, this place is world class. Not only the selection of mezcal and cocktails, but also the staff and the athmosphere is top notch. We had 2 mezcal 1 margarita and 1 mezcal based cocktail. We got our glasses refilled with water regularly and had some popcorn too. Actually we had to tell them to stop giving us more popcorn haha. All our questions were throughoutly answered by the staff, and we were amazed by their coolness and professionalsim. If you can pop in on a saturday because there is a pianist/showman.

I do feel a little bad because I was writing in my diary here and I think the bartender thought I was writing like a review for a magazine or something but unfortunately I am not a famous food critic so I will write a review here instead. I got the one of the signature cocktails, I think it was called el parino. The bartender warned me it was strong but luckily I enjoy strong cocktails and am a sucker for anything with either mezcal or absinthe, so a drink with both was basically my holy grail. It was well-rounded and smoky, with a hint of sweetness from the amaretto that was subtle enough to avoid being cloying. If an old fashioned is a refined well to do gentleman, the el parino is his troublesome playboy brother. I highly recommend. My only regret is that as a solo traveller, I avoid drinking multiple alcoholic drinks and wasn’t able to taste more of the beverage menu here. I also tried the ceviche. I think their food menu is seasonal here, so I won’t go into specifics about the dish itself in case you’re not able to get it later. I will say it was inventive without being pretentious, incredibly light and fresh, and most importantly—really damn tasty. One note is that although the speakeasy shares a kitchen with the restaurant downstairs, they do NOT share a menu. This wasn’t a problem for me but I did hear some confusion from other patrons so I figured I’d let ya know. The service here is ridiculously good. I live in a major metropolitan city and enjoy an upscale cocktail bar but genuinely I think this was the best service I’ve ever enjoyed anywhere. I heard a couple people saying oh it’s pricey but personally for this level of service, venue and quality I thought it was incredibly reasonable. But maybe that’s just because my hometown is like, crazy expensive. The ambiance is cool, too. It’s a speakeasy up a flight of stairs. The interior is sultry and dark, but I sat out on the balcony so I could enjoy the lanterns and do a little people watching. The view is lovely. Ultimately I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for an elevated cocktail bar mixology experience, but I’d go somewhere else for a cheap beer. Absolutely lovely spot!

Genialne drinki na mezcalu. Pierwszy raz próbowałem mezcalu z piersią kurczaka. Duży wybór drinków na tequilli i mezcalu jak i samych butelek mezcalu. Nigdzie się nie spotkałem z tak dużym wyborem mezcali. Klimat i styl baru też jest spoko, jedyny minus miejsce jest małe i akurat jak byliśmy to był jakiś koncert i w środku było głośno dlatego usiedliśmy na zewnątrz i pełno ludzi wychodziło na ciasny balkon palić zaraz za naszymi plecami i był smród i wyszliśmy, a szkoda bo chętnie bym został na jeszcze jednego drinka 😿

We have only had drinks here, no food. The cocktails are delicious, and they have a large selection of Mezcals. It’s a nice vibe, and great place to hang overall. These are probably the most expensive drinks we had on our Hoi An, but they are good. They also give you popcorn to snack on! :) Also, it can be hard to find, but it’s above the Taqueria! The door to go upstairs is on the far left.

The cocktails at Mezcal are fantastic and it was really hard to choose with the options given. Our waiter recommended us a few drinks according to our taste and they were spot on 😄.

New favorite cocktail bar in Hoi An!! I love mezcal and all of the drinks here were so thoughtfully crafted and complex. Also enjoyed reading all of the information and history about each mezcal on the menu. Great ambiance and gorgeous interior with nice leather round booths in the back. I didn’t get to sit at those but enjoying a cocktail out on the balcony was very nice. They also serve popcorn as a snack! Helpful attentive staff as well. Overall great experience!

We felt as if Hoi An was a bit of a tourist trap but were thrilled to find this amazing little bar. The service was fantastic, and the drinks were exceptional. Unique flavours at a very good price. It has a really nice atmosphere and the view/people watching from the balcony is great. Highly recommended!

Amazing cocktail bar and great bartenders…felt i was back in CDMX! The only thing was really off, the loud live music! Mexican music would have been a lot more fitting with the ambient!

A cool little (AIR CONDITIONED!) spot in the heart of the Old Town. I had 2 margaritas at the bar and discovered the amazing product that is Vietnamese shrimp salt - don’t knock it til you’ve tried it. They also have a terrace to people watch but sadly it was a bit too hot for me, even at 9pm. On a cooler night this would be a great spot though. The indoors is dark and moody, nice for a date. I was there as a solo female traveler and felt safe enough to enjoy a few drinks. Staff were friendly enough but could have done with a bit more bar chat! Overall, a nice experience in Hoi An.

I was only in Hoi An for a short period, but I visited this mezcal bar twice. It's a cool hidden away speakeasy bar, which you enter up a tiny set of stairs. It has a beautiful bar and rooftop to look out over the street and an abundance of mezcal and information available. An absolute must for a mezcal aficionado. Or anyone who enjoys a great cocktail. ❤️👌

Amazing vibe and the staff are super friendly. We were a party of four, and every cocktail we tried was amazing. I had the El Fumador - Mezcal-based- and it was incredible (so much so that I ended up having 5! 👀). Yes, it’s a little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for, and it’s still very cheap compared to other places I’ve visited for cocktails that were much worse.

This place is a "must go" when visiting Hoi An Vietnam. It is my new favorite coctail bar on the planet (not exaggerating) with the best coctail menu i think I have ever seen (Granted I'm partial to tequila and mezcal). They have an extensive collection of tequilas and mezcal from all over and also do a variety if I fused tequilas (including the hottest thing I've ever tried, that brought literally tears to my eyes (tears of joy).

Mezcal Cocteleria was a wonderful vibe, tucked away on top of a Mexican restaurant in speak easy style. The cocktails were well thought out, and the atmosphere was excellent, with great attention to detail in the decor and approach to the lounge. After enjoying a session at the bar, I went back a couple of nights later with two friends I’d met at my hotel to drinking my way through their cocktail list. If you like cocktail bars, speakeasies, Mexican vibes, or dark but warm and inviting surroundings definitely put this bar on your Hoi An list!

Best cocktail bar in Hoi An! Located at level 2 around the corner of the street, the setting was perfect to chill and relax. The bartenders are friendly and service was excellent. The cocktails were really great and a pleasure to drink! Definitely a bar to visit when you’re in Hoi An.

We did not eat so 5 stars is for the drinks…wow!! Outstanding! We live in Toronto and these cocktails would have people lined up for days to try. Loved everything we had! Atmosphere..gorgeous! Staff so nice! Very friendly and very talented. Great night!

Spectacular cocktails and beautifully designed decor. Moody lighting gives it a very Melbourne cocktail bar vibe. I recommend the margaritas. Pick your own salt rim and combo but the sour plum salt was amazing. They usually explain the flavour profiles eg sweet and sour, spicy, alcohol forward. If you don’t enjoy the darker inside vibes you can sit on the balcony and watch the Hoi an old town wanderers

Fantastic place for craft cocktails, expertly prepared by a young and energetic staff. Everything we tried over two visits was interesting and completely enjoyable. Service was professional and warm. Taqueria downstairs was a surprising encounter in Vietnam, but if you've had the real thing in Mexico, it doesn't quite measure up. And the bathroom was a little sketchy. Stick to the drinks. 10/10

The staff are incredible and the atmosphere is amazing. 100% recommend if you are in Hoi An, the bartenders kindly offered to make our drinks extra spicy (which we enjoy) and they were 10/10. This place can be easily in my top 5 cocktails bar I’ve been. The price for what you get makes this place a winner. Good alcohol not the cheap sh… you get in other places. Best drinks in Hoi An. Have in mind tequila and mezcal are strong… note this place has a chilled vibe. Here you come to drink not dance on the table. Nice playlist 🥰 Don’t order food so this is just based on drinks.

El lugar es espectacular, mejor que muchas mezcalerias de México y en verdad te transporta al país con los sabores de sus cócteles y comida típica. Pedimos 6 cócteles en los cuales probamos diferentes recomendaciones de los barmans, el servicio es buenísimo y los precios son un poco elevados (se entiende por qué todos los ingredientes que utilizan son importados desde México y original). De mis lugares favoritos de Hoi An para tomar un trago. 100% recomendado

Atmosfera increbile, grande selezione di spiritz e un menù che non manca di stupire. Venire qui è stato come uscire per un momento dal Vietnam per poi ritrovarsi in Mexico o a Londra o a New York. Vale decisamente una visita se siete in zona anche se non tutti i cocktail che ho assaggiato erano perfetti. Comunque 10/10!

Super classy bar very elegant vibe and choice of music, seating indoors and outdoors loved the lighting . In for days busted three times twice tried head bartenders recommendation *ambar, once la borreguita but the cocktail that calls me back is El Plátano. Delicious indeed. After a super long time in the world I have tasted such a balance of flavours and deliciousness when it comes to cocktails. The staff is super cool and friendly , understands where one comes from as well. I am really pleased to discover this one.

The 1st conceptual bar in Hoian and the 1st Mexican bar in Vietnam as well. The menu is diverse but mostly focus on mezcal and tequila. The decoration is unique, the vibe is fun and the drinks are amazingly good so I manage to visit here every time I'm in Hoian. Make sure you won't miss it.

Authentic Mexican 🌮 food so fresh and delicious. Servings were a touch on the small side but very well done. Lots of patrons coming while I was there, location next to markets excellent.

Don’t sleep on this place! My husband decided to have drink after dinner and came here. The bar is tastefully decorated, the music sets the atmosphere, and the drinks are exceptional. We had two rounds, I highly recommend the Tarta for a sweet chili taste. They have a large drink menu- tequila based, mezcal based, if you don’t like either they have other high quality liquor options. So happy we came across this place. Staff was friendly and helpful in recommending drinks based on preferences.

Na een bijzondere ingang kom je in een Mexicaanse grot waar je lekker kan genieten van een heerlijke cocktail. Tijdens het drinken krijg je butter popcorn en water en deze wordt ook regelmatig aangevuld. De cocktails zelf zijn erg lekker en goed sterk er is een goede variatie aan keuzes, dus is er voor iedereen wat! Wij hebben 2 heerlijke cocktails gehad!

Looooveeee the cocktails here!!! Especially the smoky passion fruit one (sorry can’t remember the name but senorita something). Mix and match margarita was yummy too - had guava with sea salt rim. You can also custom a drink out of the menu with the bartender, so we tried peach + lime and it was sooo good! The rose one was a very female friendly drink. Overall very vibey with quality drinks! Only down side is the steps going up to the bar - definitely can’t climb it down if you have too many drinks haha! And it gets really warm inside once you have a drink or so.

Visited for a couple drinks while visiting the old town. They have curated an amazing menu and you should absolutely try something off their mezcal selection. The staff are very attentive and even though a very large group came in, it still felt like they were taking care of you the entire time. Slightly pricy for Vietnam however for the quality of the cocktails you get it is to be expected.

I’ve been to many bars across the world, and this is among the best if not the best bar that I’ve been to. All of the drinks my husband and I had were super tasty and creative. The bartenders were also very friendly! The vibes of the place were impeccable. 10/10 must visit in Hoi An!

The cocktail bar that Hoi An needed! Great design and atmosphere in the bar, skilled and attentive staff. Most importantly we tried 8 different drinks, they were all balanced, interesting and very, very drinkable, highly recommended.

As you walk through a narrow staircase and up to an ornate door, upon entering, you are captivated by the atmosphere. Each space is curated to tell a story. The music is just right, with an enjoyable volume and a Latin/lounge flare. The menu includes an extensive list of mezcal and tequila, while providing both the classics and mixology within the Mexican palate. The bartenders are friendly and attentive but give you space to enjoy your drink. Wonderful place to get a cocktail outside of the chaos of the night market area. The owner spent time in Jalisco and it shows in the expertly designed space.

Amazing bar! The cocktails are incredible and the attention to detail in the menu and decor was surprising and delightful. The owners have obviously spent a lot of time in Mexico and have spent quite a bit putting this place together. Wish we had one like this in SA!

Great new speakeasy in Hoi An! There's a small door and stairs to enter. Be careful going up and down as it's quite dark. The room itself was very well designed. Depending on what you are looking for, there's a good place for you to sit. Booth and private tables near the back. Lots of bar seating. Or if you like to people-watch while you enjoy a cocktail, you can sit on the patio facing the street. The staff are very friendly. Young and eager to learn. The cocktails were very good. The owner's wife helps bring in a selection of mezcal from Mexico. They have a wall with lots of infusions used for their signature cocktails and some which are there for them to play with and come up with unique cocktails based on the customers preference. Highly recommend going here if you're in Hoi An. Thank you to the staff for taking great care of us! (Hung, Ngo, Phu, and Nga)

Top!!! You need to visit it. No regrets! Even though I arrived close to closing time, the staff was very kind and allowed me to order a cocktail. My choice was a signature cocktail: “Papa Diablo”. I really liked this one which was refreshing and smooth which was perfect after a long day of waking up the whole town. I have to say, inside the place, the decor is very much in keeping with the mezcal and Mexican vibe, and it's really a surprise after you walk up those metal stairs through that small passageway.

Absolut außerordentliche Signature-Cocktailbar in Hoi An, die sich aus der üblichen Einheitsgastronomie heraushebt. Ausschließlich Signature Cocktails, wobei viele auf Mezcal und Tequila-Basis sind. Sehr qualifizierte Barkeeper, die auch einen Blick für das Äußere haben. Es gibt Plätze auf dem Balkon aber auch viele Sitzmöglichkeiten im Inneren (1. Stock). Wasser und Knabbersachen sind selbstverständlich kostenfrei.

We went here as part of a cocktail tour and it was awesome. Friendly knowledgeable bar staff, the owner had time for a bit of a chat, the range of mezcal and tequila is superb and the ambiance and decor is so different to anything else I've seen in Hoi An.

Excellent tequila and mezcal cocktail bar. Didn't expect to find such good selection in Hoi an. Highly recommend. Definitely a gem within the Cutest Town in Vietnam. The selection of cocktails were very reasonably priced and very well crafted. Very nice ambience. Love the brick all feels and the old prohibition era furniture. Feels like I'm in an underground Tavern. The staff were excellent and very friendly. Definitely coming back here.

If you are in Hoi an and would like to have a cocktail in a very decent place, I highly recommend this one. The bar staff is very professional and friendly and they will surprise you with their signature cocktail. They have a plenty of choices for drinks, especially if you like tequilas ( as it is a 1rst Mexican mezcaleria in Vietnam)...probably you can try something that you have never tried before ( like a homemade tequilas infusion ). Come early as they shut at midnight and get busy and you probably like to drink more than 1 cocktail;)
