An amazing open bar right in front of the river of Hoi An. The drinks are relatively affordable, simple but very good. It can be a little stronger as well compare to other bars in Hoi An. Good for a group, a date or singles. Had a great time relaxing and winding down there while enjoying the view.

June 3rd 2024 Nestled above the bustling streets, this rooftop bar offers a perfect escape from the city's chaos. The location, perched on a corner, provides a serene atmosphere where the soft lighting creates an inviting mood without drawing too much attention. We indulged in two platters—one meat and one cheese—accompanied by a delightful array of cocktails and beers. The flavours were exceptional, and the drinks had us craving for more. The staff were incredibly attentive and always ready to assist, adding to the overall fantastic experience. Though the bar might be a bit tricky to find, just keep an eye out for the sign out front and follow the cables leading up the stairs on the right. It's well worth the effort for a relaxing and enjoyable evening. I also have to add - I had the Pho infused Gin and it was fantastic. I could not believe how the scent was exactly like a Pho and was delicious with the Gin

We came here first time just for evening drink. We got here about 5:30 p.m., it was already dark but we still can catch up with the happy hour promotion. Great value for money and to chill out by river view. The drink is good. I ordered Strawberry Gin with black pepper. 👍

We stopped in for a drink after a long day exploring and stumbled upon happy hour (4-6pm). The fishbowl gins were generous and introduced us to a fantastic local Vietnamese gin. The views were great, especially at sunset time.

OMG! Seriously well made drinks, tasty nibbles menu and a lovely view. I'm only sorry that I didn't spend every happy hour of my stay in Hoi An. If you are a gin lover this is the place for you... the cucumber and mango g&t was only topped by their negroni g&t

Went here as the end part of a a cocktail tour in Hoi An (highly recommended, Tim was an amazing tour guide, very funny and knowledgeable with his history, fascinating stuff learned on the tour), the place is very nice, atmospheric, lovely view, feels very open and chilled but also hidden away. They make their own flavoured liquers there too, pretty cool, and we really enjoyed our cocktails here. Staff were lovely and friendly too.

Delightful infused gin & tonics, a candle lit romantic setting overlooking the bridge and river, and that’s just the start of whats on offer here: we loved it. 2 years later this bar is still awesome, we loved the pho, strawberry and plum infusions! Their special Hoi An gimlet is a masterpiece :)

Nice view during the day and at night too. And you are away from the crowds. We had the Amaretto Sour, the Mountain Apricot, and two gin tonic in different styles. We don't know about the food but a great place for cocktails

Found this lovely little gem right above the market entrance! It has a perfect view looking over the river. The G&Ts are easily the best I’ve had, and the cocktails are fantastic—definitely catch the Happy Hour from 4:00 to 6:00 PM for a great deal. We only snacked on the chips, but they were amazing. Most importantly, the staff service is superb. Highly recommend for a sunset drink!

Nice tarrace for a drink, truly great music, but the cocktails could be better. Some of them were great, but I was disappointed with martini. Overall just a nice bar :)

Creative cocktails inspired by local flavours and traditions. Cool selection of infusions for their gin + tonic offering! Their little snack menu was great and there’s even the opportunity to order from the menu of their sister restaurant, a nearby fish and chip place. Classy and comfy. You get great value when purchasing cocktails from their happy hour menu!

My friend and I came here for a few drinks. The vibe, drinks and atmosphere is so nice! Happy hour was super good! However, after about 30 minutes of being there. A group of 8 people arrived, they had a designated table ready for them, but they wanted the couch we were on. So we were forced to move to another table, just to please them even though we were there first and were planning to stay for a while. Not the biggest deal however it was kind of annoying and we were disappointed in the staff as this would not be allowed in our restaurant, or at least ask us first if we’re happy too.

Best G&T’s and cocktails in town. They have a fab happy hour 4-6pm, perfect time to watch sunset over the river. Food is also delish, friendly staff and overall good vibes.

A great place to chill and watch the world go by. Multiple different flavoured G&Ts, great beer, and excellent value at happy hour(s)! The fish and chips were some of the best I have ever had - and I'm from London originally 🐟🍟🤤. Perfect crispy chips, crunchy but light batter, and firm tasty mahi mahi.

We had such a great experience with Market Bar, the waitress/host working was exceptional! Had a great range of cocktails, the gimlet and the Hoi An chilli cocktail were our highlights, so delicious. Very talented bar staff, highly recommend. :)

I ordered a Hoi An Chili Cocktail and I felt that the bartending skills weren’t very good. The drink tastes flat and although the spice around the cup was tasty, that was all I could taste. They did have a disclaimer on the front page of the menu that they are so confident that their fish and chips were good that they would give it to you for free if you disagree. I have to say…I couldn’t bring myself to disagree hahaha. The fish and chips were amazing.

Go for the terrace views, stay for the gin. Great vibe, with stunning views, and a good gin infusion experience. Also got the fish n chips and they lived up to the hype. Especially grateful they serve with ketchup.

This is the greatest place!!! First, the atmosphere is great. Rooftop view of the river. Watch the bats fly out of the l adjacent rooftop at dusk. Second, the basil mint kumquat gimlet is one of the best cocktails I’ve had in my entire life. And I’m not just saying that after having two of them. Come for happy hour 4-6pm. Third, Long is the greatest server ever. She deserves a big raise!!! She is the greatest!!!

A fantastic bar at the start of the night market, over looking the Old Town and the Thi Bon River. Quality drinks, especially the cocktails and during happy hour (4.00pm - 6.00pm) but still great value without happy hour. Long was very friendly and offered great service.

We went to the Market Bar twice. It offers a fun view over the streets and river, and the drinks and snacks are absolutely delicious. We recommend the popcorn shrimp, fries with truffle aioli, and kumquat gimlet (SOOOOO good). At happy hour (4-6pm…maybe?) there are very reasonable prices for a range of cocktails–including dozens of flavors of fishbowl gin and tonics. The staff were always kind and helpful. When we’re in Hoi An again, we will be visiting the Market Bar.

Fish bowls are very enjoyable and their hint of negroni was amazing, even with beef eater their tonic/drinks felt high quality and made for an enjoyable drink and experience. Chips were hot but had minimal Crispy and while tasty a bit disappointing. 4 drinks and a bow of chips during happy hour for under 400.

The best bar in Hoi An. Literally came here every night of our stay! The gin and tonics are amazing and so affordable. Plus the cocktails are delicious. We indulged in a cheese board for 2 people and came back for it again because it was some of the best cheese I’ve ever tasted. They do amazing happy hour from 4-6pm every day!

Loved this place when in Hoi An. Nice cocktails on a second floor rooftop. Perfect place for an evening outdoor drink. We were hungry, so we decided to split the chicken. It was awesome (and the fries were great, too).

I was on a tour and the guide sent us over here. An excellent spot and he had us made a great drink with an amazing view. A solid spot for a drink or a snack and a little hidden away from all the business of the shops. The vibe was very chill and comfortable. I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.

Hands down the best cocktails we had in Hoi An by a mile. Don't worry about Happy Hour hours, 4-6pm, the cost of drinks any time is quite reasonable. Their selection of gin is great too with many choices of gins and flavours. Also very convenient (upstairs of) the best money changer in town - the jewellery store.

This bar is perfect for gin lovers! Great view at night which is when we visited. Nice dim lighting and moody atmosphere. Friendly staff free wifi:) We tried about 5 different cocktail infusions and they were all absolutely delicious and great price at happy hour. Highly recommend!

Good place with great view in town. The food and menu in general is good with affordable price. But the service should be better since I had to wait 10 minutes before the brought me the menu

Atmospheric open-air bar - music was at a good volume too (i.e.not unbearably loud!). Some reviewers recommended the pho gin but i found it way too savoury/herbaceous and couldn’t drink more than a few sips. The mango and cucumber G&T was okay but honestly quite forgettable (couldn’t taste much gin).

We just had a New Year’s Eve party last night and it was just great, atmosphere was nice , dj was really chill, good mix of nice people and the cocktails o boy the where great. We had the gin fusion with pho soup taste, sounds bizarre but it was amazing, and that for 4 euro, I know it’s Vietnam but this quality blew me away, the gave us a free glass of champagne at 12 o clock and we were the last one’s to leave, you won’t see much from the street side but take the stairs and order a gin an tonic, we had a great night, thanks

Lovely ambience. Nice and attentive staff. I'm not an alcoholic but i think there drink is quite nice with affordable price and they are also happy to adjust alcohol level in your drink if you are not really alcohol tolerate. But the food didn't up to my expectation. I ordered fish and chips, the fish is juicy with light batter but i didn't hold its crispiness too long. Same for the home made chips as it became soggy quite fast. Overall it still worth a visit if you're looking for a place to chill and observe Hoi An at night

Great place to come for a drink and get out of the sun. The wife and I went most days during happy hour (4pm-6pm). The vibes were amazing! Staff was very friendly and attentive. My wife LOVED the gimlet and they give you peanuts. Also a good view of the river / market with comfy seating. 🍸🙏

Just around the corner from the cloth market, we went at happy hour (4-6pm) and you can get a G&T fishbowl for 75k at the time of this review. They offer a good selection of gins and flavours, food is good too, and the staff and balcony setting are lovely.

Great place for happy hour and some gorgeous cocktails. Nice comfy sofa area as well. However, food was not up to standard. Had the kettle chips with Guacamole + with Hummus and we received about 10 chips. We asked for more so we could actually eat the dips - which we were charged for! Not impressed.

This place is hands down the best cocktail and gin bar in Hoi An. Drinks average around 120 dong give or take. The cocktail menu is excellent with a good serving size. Happy hour is from 4pm to 6pm. It’s located on the first floor balcony overlooking the bridge and park, with good breezes. It has views along the river. There are balcony seats as well as loungers. There is a small food menu. You will not get harassed by sellers. It’s a must for Hoi An. Do yourself a favour and go.

Cracking little bar near the river overlooking the market. We tried all 4 happy hour drinks and one of their infused gin and tonics (cucumber and mango) and enjoyed every drink. Fantastic value, this quality of cocktail can set you back 5x as much in the bigger cities. Lovely atmosphere once the sun starts the set. I will say that the two sours look a bit too similar. The one with beetroot I was expecting a darker purple colour given the flavour profile and similarly a more earthy flavour from the beetroot but it ended up tasting just like a normal gin sour. Maybe try using a beetroot purée or syrup to infuse the flavour better. Fantastic bar nevertheless, try for happy hour but well worth it at normal prices as well. Can easily sit here after a long day in the sun and sink a few too many

A lovely place above the market overlooking the bridge and river. It's shady with a good number of potted plants. Serves primarily wine and spirit with limited beer and non alcoholic drink options. Food wise the choices are also very limited. In short if one is after wine, spirit, and cocktails, this is a place to be. Had fish and chips. The mahi mahi is OK but not my preference as they didn't have sea bass. Serving is generous, which I can't finish.

Everyone should come here for a Pho infused Gin and Tonic! In fact they should come between 4-6 when there is happy hour so you can start with the pho, and then try one of the many other delicious infusions! Excellent service, great drinks, and even a decent food menu (filled with meats, cheese, and fish & chips so not Vietnamese but delicious all the same!) The same is on the second floor overlooking the market and river, so great views!

This was my favourite place in all of Vietnam - the drinks a beautiful and the view is amazing. We visited during a monsoon which made the terrace feel all the more cosy. I hope to visit once again in the future.

A lovely spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of Hoi An and the market. Comfortable with friendly staff we enjoyed every visit. We loved the Fishbowl G&T's and tried most of the flavours. We even added one of our own. Chili and Cocoa Nibs was a winner. The fries with Lemon zest salt and Truffle dip were delicious. Well worth a visit!

My first Gin&Tonic experience and it was absolutely amazing. A cold and refreshing drink fit for the heat of Hoi An. The location is right by the Hoi An Market and overlooking the river. They offer Happy Hour from 4pm-6pm, where their G&Ts only cost 50k VND ($2). Each drink already come with fries and is very easy to drink (I expected it to be too strong or bitter for my taste) Even without Happy Hour, drinks only cost about 85k ($3.7). Good place to kill time hiding from the sun and heat of Hoi An

Great place to chill out after exploring the old town of Hoi An. Lovely terrace views over the hustle and bustle of the market. Great drinks list including cocktails, gins and wine. Nice menu with classics such as fish and chips, burgers and poutine with gravy, all to high standard. Staff were friendly and welcoming and said the Australian/Scottish/Vietnamese owners opened there as it was such a cool spot to people watch and they weren’t wrong! We had a lovely chilled bottle of NZ Sauvignon Blanc and some tasty food. Would recommend if you want to sit and watch the sunset and get away from being hassled by hawkers off the street.

One of the best bars in Vietnam for locally inspired cocktails. Their Ode to the Hoi An Chili cocktail is world class, brilliant, and represents Vietnam like no other cocktail in its use of shrimp salt on the rim. Must come here just to try that cocktail. If you live gin and tonics or martinis you will be in heaven, try all their infused gin and tonics. The setting is incredible, second floor of the old market, overlooking the river. Great happy hour. Phenomenal service. Gave us a free round of drinks for food taking a little too long to come out, thanks to the staff. A must if you are in Hoi An.

There are several reasons I like the Market Bar; one - the staff are very nice, two - the food is very good, three - it has a great view of the river and you feel as if you are in the tops of trees and the music is relaxing. Good place to chill out.

We had dinner and a drink there. There is some nice variety of wine and gins in addition to other types of alcohol. The food took time to arrive, but was totally worth the wait. We had the cheese platter and the beach style ceviche, they are not small dishes and completely enough for us as a couple. They were super tasty. The cheese platter came with bread and passion fruit jam which was wonderful. Also the staff was very nice and the place looks great.

We came here 4 nights in a row so I guess that says something about the place. But seriously, this is one of the best bars I've been to. Great tasting, innovative, and strong drinks, good sides, and amazing service. What more can you want. Special shoutout to Hien who was amazing and took really good care of us.

Great place for a relaxing drink in the busy city center. Definitely try their Fishbowl G&T’s, love the different flavors you can choose from. Gave the fries a taste test, very tasty as well! A gin and tonic ... or 3! Opposite one of my favourite coffee shops is the very popular Market Bar (Market Terrace) but as I am usually in town early for coffee, people watching and the early morning market chaos it took a while to coordinate a visit to the bar which opens at 3pm. But a few days ago I did manage to get there! 😝 Right on 3pm. And although Happy Hours start at 4pm the manager was happy to let me drink at Happy Hours prices. 🙂The Market Terrace overlooks the busy Hoi An market, the Thu Bồn River (sông Thu Bồn) and gets a beautiful view of the sunset and then the Night market across the River a bit later. Given the Happy Hours prices I tried a few different G&T's. My first G&T in 6 months or so! Started with the recommended Orange and Hibiscus Flower. Then the infused Vietnamese Plum and finally the infused Vanilla Bean (probably my favourite although difficult to recall exactly! lol). The standard G&T's were $2.27 and the infused versions $3.40. Views, cool breeze from the well positioned fan, and conversation with server, FREE! I really enjoyed the ambience, and the terrace garden setting. It was a long walk home but well worth the experience. 😝

Cool place. I planned to visit fish and chips restaurant. But i was closed where it was pinned on the google map. But i found here and they are selling the Me Phuong's fish and chips menu. Nice and chill bar and located quite hidden. Hidden jam in hoi an!

This gorgeous local place has delicious cocktails and 14 styles of hand-crafted gin made in house! Old world vibe, with a view of river and bridge and market below. Staff kind and service wonderful. Definitely worth a nighttime visit for a cocktail or two, or three.

Hoi An is a beautiful old town with plenty of bars, coffeeshops and restaurants serving western japanese and very nice vietnamese cuisine, craft beer is served in many of the bars and it is well worth a visit.

Lovely and atmospheric place with a good selection of wines and food. I had a glass of Sicilian red which fully satisfied me. Mango & oyster mushrooms salad sounded exotic and tasted good. Churros were a bit on an oily side but I still enjoyed them. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Service was good, just make sure that the local waitress understands you as she is not yet confident in her English. But for sure the right efforts and attitude are there. Also, it is a wonderful spot for a bird-point-of view for people watching around the market. Prices are fair for what you get and the surroundings.

This place is amazing!! Really great wine selection both by the bottle and by the glass. Prices are great also, especially for the quality of the wine and the location in old town. I got a beautifully crisp Rose from France for only 65,000 dong. You got to come check this out. Nothing else in town compares if you are a wine person or just want to enjoy the atmosphere. They had a nice small selection of food (even a vegetarian/vegan option) to pair with the wine too. Side note: I lived in the south of France and can appreciate the quality here. And the also have nice quality beer and liquor as well!!

One of the best places to have some wine and chill. I was impressed by their drink list, so many appealing options. The bar looks very welcoming, sweet staff taking good care of guests. They have comfy sofas and stools with excellent view of the busiest spot of Hoi An.

Nhân viên tính tiền bắt khách phải đi lấy chứ k đưa bill. Chơi ở đây 3 năm mà h thấy chất lượng nhân viên quá tệ, mở nhạc thì ồn óc, kêu mở nhỏ cũng giả điếc. Thằng mở nhỏ lại thì thằng khác qua mở max volume. Nhân viên như đồ điên đồ khùng. Chính thức chê và chuyển chỗ chơi

Không gian đẹp, cổ kính, tầm nhìn bao quát sông Hoài...hoạt động của người dân địa phương nhộn nhịp.

I came back on Friday the 17th. Still as well placed with a view of the river. The cocktails, in this case Gin Hendrick's lemongrass star anise, are generous and very well made. The charcuterie-cheese platter, the Guacamole, the hummus and the Isigny-Sainte-Mère camembert (Clavados, France) were perfect. The prices are high but still correct for a Westerner. Do not miss it.

Bar mở về đêm ở khu chợ Hội An nên cũng khá yên tĩnh. Nhân viên thân thiện và chỗ ngồi khá hợp lý, view sông.

Đồ uống chủ yếu là rượu, cooktail. Mình đi tầm 5h là happy hour (4pm-6pm) nên discount 50% chi đó. Ở đây có 2 loại chỗ ngồi là ban công và ghế sô pha ( sô pha thì hơi lớn phù hợp nếu bạn đi đông) Tuu đi du lịch 1 mình nên ngồi ban công ngắm thả diều ở bờ sông và coi người người qua lại ở chợ bên dưới. Khá vui nha. Tới vào tối có thể sẽ chill theo kiểu khác
