⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Shamrock Irish Bar was such a fun spot! They had an amazing live band that was taking requests, which made the whole night feel interactive and lively. Great energy, great music, and a packed atmosphere in the best way. They were also showing Olympic hockey on the TVs, which was awesome — perfect mix of live music and live sports. The drinks were solid, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. If you’re in Vietnam and craving a fun Irish pub vibe, this place definitely delivers. Would absolutely go back! 🍀

I came across the place as I was staying next door and it had both a good vibe and a selection of local dishes. I'm extremely happy to see the live rock 🎸 music here 🎶 I gave it a try as the draft beer and the passion fruit juice were great and reasonably priced (added 20% more service due to Tet’s holidays). I also tried the pizza (not really good) but it was fine if you have tried Italian foods before. On top of that, the staff is very friendly and they did an amazing job with the New Year and Hoi An decorations.

Service 10/10- saw how they handled a really unfair review was brilliant. The guest dodnt like the taste of their drink- no fault of the bartender but proceeded to get agressive ber a simple fix. Bartender offered to fix the cocktails no problem but guest demanded to leave one star review which is detrimental to small business. Services phenomenal, vibes phenomenal. Prices grate food looks great. Would recomend 10/10 bi not option. Such great value and live music is amazing. All staff great. Depends how many drinks you want depends on affordability

If y'all like rock music and/or open mics, I cannot recommend this enough! The live band was incredible, and Jojo, who is in charge of the acoustic open mic, is super nice and talented. I went to the bar 3 days in a row just for the vibe.

Do not come here!! The lady working here is very rude. I wasn’t trying to buy a drink at the every moment and she threatened to kick me out. Starts taking photos on me. Probably trying to put my face on their group chats. Be aware!!

There is a potential good atmosphere as the musicians cover really good tracks, but it's way too loud to appreciate it fully. The food is ok and service is pretty slow but it's understandable as the place is busy. So many potential customers stand outside but don't come in because of the level of noise, so my advice to you guys is, turn it down a notch and more people will come.

Horrible Service & Blatant Racial Discrimination — Worst Experience in Vietnam Hoi an. This has been the worst service I’ve had in my 13 days traveling in Vietnam, paired with blatant racial discrimination. My husband had barely drunk one-third of his beer when the staff kept rushing him to order another one. We have already other 4 drinks, is it not enough? They repeatedly interrupted us during the live music just to push more drinks on us. Meanwhile, the two tables of white customers beside us ordered far less than we did, and not a single waiter bothered them at all. Only us were targeted nonstop. We ordered a beer right after the second set music finished, took just two sips, and as soon as the third set started with the first song, a waiter came over to pressure us again, saying we’d occupied the table for too long. What the heck? Why don’t you rush the white customers? Why don’t you charge people standing outside listening to the band for free instead of harassing paying guests? You could easily set a minimum spend per table for the 3 live music sets, but you chose not to. Instead, you keep interrupting people mid-show to order drinks? We were interrupted by set 2 and set 3. How many drinks do you think we should order so you would stop harassing us? I’d rather stand outside and listen for free than be bothered like this. The service is extremely rude and aggressive, especially the oldest waiter. Her attitude to Chinese was terrible. To white? Smile all the time. To me? She yelled. The only positive is the band — they’re top-notch. But the service is unforgivable. Their so-called freshly squeezed orange juice is completely fake, horrible and definitely mixed with additives, tasting awful and watery. Worst orange juice I’ve ever had. How can you expect anyone to order more? My husband wanted draft beer and they rejected, only allowed my husband to buy bottle one. However, the white comes after us, sitting next to us ordered draft beer. How could this happen? You are Asian too. Who do you think you are? The restrooms are disgustingly smelly — even the women’s restroom reeks. There’s never any toilet paper, and the staff never cleans. If guests can’t even use a clean restroom, how are we supposed to drink more? My bladder is about to explode but I can’t pee in a smelly no toilet paper restroom. An absolutely terrible experience. Save your money and your mood — avoid this place. Enjoy the music freely outside the store. They don’t deserve my money at all. 中国人千万别来，严重种族歧视

THE MUSIC HERE IS AMAZING ! This band really made our night when we found them. Before that, Hoi an old town sincerely felt like a tourist pleaser. They are really passionate musicians and it shows that they love what they do. We had a really good time there !

Ich würde gern 0 Sterne geben. Einfach viel zu laut, keine Rücksicht auf Late Night und die Atmosphäre, die am Fluss herrschen sollte. Gerade zum vietnamesischen Neujahr sollte man eine Stufe runterfahren. Party mit Geschlossenen Türen tut es auch. Dann noch schlechte Boxen und Rauschen. Atmosphären-Killer!

Totally inappropriate noise from this venue from a very shouty, tuneless band. Completely spoilt the atmosphere of this part of Hoi An. Total noise pollution- ruined a meal we were having in a restaurant opposite.

I have a hard time understanding the bad reviews indicating noise complaints from this bar. I’ve been travelling Vietnam for 4 weeks now and this is the most engaging live-band bar I’ve come across. The band is dynamic, the music is spot on, and the atmosphere is really fun. They play great classic rock which undeniably gets the crowd’s hips moving. Everyone walking by on the pedestrian road stops to get a hold of the great music playing here, it’s really encouraging for the band members. The band respectfully stops playing together at 10pm which to me seems absolutely reasonable. Thank you for livening up our night, please keep doing what you do for the spirit of Hoi An <3

We enjoyed our chicken burgers and beer. Everything was well prepared. The staff was kind and friendly. They do accept credit cards. There is plenty of seating inside and outside with a spectacular view of the boats passing by. There is also a pool table that we enjoyed a game. 😊

Band is seriously unbelievably good. I can't believe I'm not paying for the concert! (other than tips, of course). Their guitarist is incredible and absolutely nails every solo, and the singers are killing it!! The band recreates classic rock songs so well but also makes changes of their own, which is just so fun to listen to! We didn't have any of the food, but enjoyed the beers and the vibes so much that we had to come back every night until we left 🫶🫶

I went to the restroom and came back; I had a glass of beer, and they'd taken it away. They invite customers in when they want to, but when we order drinks, they expect us to leave immediately. They wanted to move me to another table, but I didn't go because it wasn't a nice gesture. ❌My beer was still there on the table; they could have asked me. Vietnamese people really surprise me every day and make me disillusioned with the country.👎

Fair enough Guineas is hard to find in Vietnam, but for the craic was willing to fork over 330k for one pint (for reference a bottle of beer was 50k). But apparently spending this much on one pint was not enough for 2 people to sit at table, had to buy one drink each. I can understand if we had just tried to order 1 local beer between us, but to order the equivalent of 6 local beers and be told that we wouldn’t be allowed to sit unless we both bought a drink seemed very odd. Also person serving was not friendly, band seemed fun though.

Great music - young band. Western food was good. Bar service was very slow, unfortunately not enough staff behind the bar, staff on the floor very pleasant. The toilets are not good and need to be completely done up. Hand dryer hanging off the wall, bins overflowing. It's a shame the toilets let the place down

Based on reading the other reviews, I heard that apparently the cocktails are pretty watered down, so we stuck to stuff on tap (beer, wine, etc.) and it was good. It’s a great hub for tourists to make friends - we formed a mini friendship group by playing pool and ended up spending the rest of the night together! 💙 …

Leider sind die zwar recht günstigen Cocktails enttäuschend. Offensichtlich spart man bei den Alkoholika enorm, ein Long Island icetea ist daher ein dünnes Gemisch. Liveband war sehr gut, Ambiente auch überzeugend, Service sehr nett und aufmerksam

Music is nice but we had to go downstairs to order and the food was weird. Burger came with nothing on it and when I went up to ask server about it he took it to the kitchen and added everything it said on the menu…? Chicken fingers tasted weird we didn’t eat them

Brilliant place for people who like classic rock. The service was pretty poor though, our order got delayed and no one knew what they were supposed to do. I do sense that might have something to do with the large number of people there but staff needs to know how to handle such situations. Overall a very chill scene with good music, good selection of beer a pool table as well but expect food to be subpar and similar service.

This place is a disgrace to Hoi An. So loud. Has a shitty pub singer and really loud music. People in the area and across the river can't enjoy a nice drink in a lovely area because it blasts out horrendous music so loud. No care for other people. If this was in Italy or Spain or anywhere in Europe it wouldn't be allowed in such a beautiful area. Extremely inconsiderate and ruins a beautiful area with loud shitty music from people who can barely sing. Why not have some social responsibility?

We ordered chicken pizza and the chicken was raw and we told the staff and he just said okay and walked away, didn't offer an exchange or anything. Parmi was overcooked, AVOID THIS PLACE!

The service was poor, the chicken on the pizza was raw and chicken parmi was very dry. When the manager asked us about the food and I told him that the chicken is raw. His response was “Ohhh” and he left it at that. Straight after having food at this place, i started feeling sick. Very poor experience at this place….

So not entirely a no go however, the staff is short handed to the point you will have to hustle your own drinks. Food is not amazing, the burgers are small and have a lot of fat content. The chicken sandwich was good and crisp and good sized. While our visit wasn't stellar it could have been with the proper staff. Also read the fine print....shots don't count during happy hour for the buy 2 get 1.

The band playing here were the real standout!! We came back the next night just to see them play again their energy and passion was so amazing! In terms of the bar it was very accommodating prices are what you could expect cheapest beer 45K. Didn’t try any food again the main draw for me was the band.

The chicken was hot and crispy. The pizza I ate was great. The chicken pamar was also excellent. I'm not referring to how my friends criticized it. But to me, it was delicious. Perhaps my friends were hoping for better results, which is why they behaved that way. I'm very sorry.

Spent the afternoon into closing just drinking, watxhing how busy the place n street was, the live band was awesome. Had a great crowd out that night. Awesome night, met alot of new people aswell. Been back 4 times already. Great spot.

A great pub with fantastic live music and very friendly and efficient staff. We visited straight after the devastating typhoon, the floods were still evident but all efforts had been to clear up and carry on as usual. Amazing place, people and atmosphere. had the shamrock double burger and it was absolutely divine, they cook it at about medium but the cheese and the egg and everything just works so well together, even the chips were crispy, only thing to keep in mind is how huge it is the staff were wonderful, tony really took care of us as well as the rest of the staff had a coke for after foods cause there was no way i was fitting anything else

Seeing the same faces I’ve seen in August 2024 during my visit in Hoi An made me really enthusiastic that I’ve chosen to take seat here. In contrast to the neighbouring bar, Wanderlust Hoi An, where staff members have a bad attitude, the staff of Shamrock reacts much better. I want to thank Andy for the short chats I’ve had with him. More staff members should be like Andy, so thanks to him. I also saw an older man walking around with the tray. Hope he’s doing well and much respect for him doing the job at such an age.

Sunset views of the river and town are so beautiful here with acoustic live music playing in the background. Happy hour is on 10-7pm and it’s one of the few bars/pubs that serve real alcohol. You’d be surprised how many places serve fake beer and liquor (that’s why it’s so cheap). If you’re here later at night, the live band is so fun and it’s such a vibe. It’s a lot of fun and songs you can sing to. There are pool tables and dart boards for entertainment and live sports on if you’re a sports fanatic. Definitely a must visit if you’re in Hoi An!

Location-wise it’s perfect if you sit at the front, you can watch the sunset and the lanterns come on over the river. The greeting staff are very nice but it did take an extremely long time to bring my drink and also my fries, and when they did they forgot to bring me any napkins or forks. So overall it’s a pleasant place to sit to watch the sun go down but once it has it gets pretty busy and the waiters seem to lose interest, maybe it’s because I was just one person. So it was fine but I’d go somewhere else for a cocktail next time. Good price at happy hour though.

The place has an amazing atmosphere with a perfect view on the river. It's picturesque while the lantern boats passing by. Now, the food. You don't expect a good burger in Vietnam, but the burger I got!!!!!!! Apparently the see food was good too. We arrived during happy hours and got 3 cocktails for 2.

Great place to sit back, relax and enjoy a live band with a few drinks and a meal. Nice, cold drinks, and meals are tasty. Located right along the river amongst other eateries and food stalls. You can watch the boats and people go by, and the lantern atmosphere outside. Staff are attentive, no problem ordering and receiving promptly. Music starts pumping louder about 8.30pm. Singers with strong vocals continue into the night. Great atmosphere for all. Would come again.

Such a great vibe with the live music and all the live sports. There was a great atmosphere went we went there ... with all of the English Premier League soccer and Six Nations rugby being shown live. They also have my Irish icons - Guinness, Kilkenny & Strongbow all on draft.

Great Irish Sports bar right on the river and in the center of Hoi An. It's big enough for large groups to watch the big games and riverfront seating if you want just a drink and / or a meal. The staff are very attentive. The live music every evening is exceptionally good!

The shamrock is an absolute vibe! Live music, great people, great service! They offer Australian cuisine also, which was also great quality. For desert the apple pie was crazy good. Had the pleasure of having good chats with manager Chris M. His a ripper bloke! Thanks for your service guys.

Mình và gia đình vừa có trải nghiệm cực kì khó chịu tại đây, mình ngồi bên ngoài tại sao lại nv lại nhắc nhở không được hút thuốc, trong khi vẫn thấy khách khác hút mà không bị nhắc? Thái độ tiếp theo của nv hôm đó như có ý đuổi bọn mình.

When I asked about the price difference, the explanations were inconsistent and it took a long time to resolve. I was also asked to settle the bill while I was still eating, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. In the end, I paid the price I was originally informed of, but the overall process was disappointing. I hope the price transparency and customer service can be improved.

종업원이 거스름돈으로 장난칩니다. 조심하세요. 카드로 계산하거나 돈을 줄 때 지불한 금액을 확실하게 알려주거나 사진을 찍어 두세요. 저는 220을 구입하고 200에 100지폐를 건냈는데(50지폐가 없어서 100지폐로 준 것 확실) 갑자기 200에 50지폐를 받았다고 30만 돌려 줬어요. 제가 다시 말을 해도 끝까지 우기네요.

근처 라이브 밴드가 공연하는 바가 몇군데 있는데 그 둥 이곳의 밴드실력이 탑입니다. 사운드도 단연 빵빵해서 주변의 분위기까지 업시켜주는 분위기 메이커예요. 음료, 맥주값은 다소 비싸지만 식사 안시켜도 돼서 둘이 음료값 오천원 정도에 고퀄의 라이브 밴드를 감상할수 있어요. 음식은 안먹어서 어떤지 모르겠네요.

Trời ơi, nơi này tuyệt vời quá. Chúng mình đến đây vào đêm đầu tiên ở Hội An. Có một ban nhạc sống tuyệt vời đang chơi. Chúng mình thực sự cảm thấy như đang ở một buổi hòa nhạc vậy. Không khí tuyệt vời, đồ ăn và thức uống cũng tuyệt vời.

Tôi cho quán này 2 sao vì khoai tây chiên ngon. Nhưng đồ uống mới là vấn đề. Bia đắt gấp ba lần so với bất kỳ nơi nào khác. Có người gọi Bicardi Rum và Coca-Cola. Trông như nước rửa bát bẩn và vị thì kinh khủng. Rõ ràng là không ổn, nhưng họ chẳng làm gì cả, ngay cả khi nhân viên phục vụ được thông báo là họ không hài lòng với đồ uống.

Mình đã có trải nghiệm rất tốt ở nhà hàng này. Các món Tây, rượu cocktail đa dạng và chất lượng. Có cả live music rất sôi động. Nhân viên thì nhiệt tình, mời chào khách rất dễ thương. Nếu đến Hội An, mình recommend mọi người đến nhà hàng này!

Nếu bạn đi vòng vòng nơi đông người tại hội an mà cảm thấy mệt thì có thể ghé qua quán này để nghĩ chân uống một ly nước ngắm nhìn dòng ngừoi qua lại. Mình đi vào buổi tối nên quán khá nhộn nhịp từ đây có thể nhìn ra dòng sông với hàng chục con thuyền chở du khách tham quan với các ngọn đèn trên tay. Bên cạnh đó có thể nhìn qua phía đối diện với những hàng quán phố xá tấp nập dòng người qua lại bên những ngọn lồng đèn sáng lấp lánh tô điểm cho bức tranh tại đây.

Rất khuyến khích bạn đến quán rượu tuyệt vời này. View đẹp, không gian tuyệt vời với nhạc sống và cocktail ngon được phục vụ bởi đội ngũ nhân viên thân thiện, hiệu quả. Thật tuyệt khi gặp một người Úc luôn hết lòng phục vụ. Chúng tôi chắc chắn sẽ quay lại.

Chúng tôi đã bị so sánh với khách nước ngoài mặc dù sử dụng đồ uống và gọi món như bao khách nước ngoài khác chỉ vì không biết quy định của quán. Quy định của quán không có trong menu và nhân viên cũng không nhắc chúng tôi trước nhưng đã đòi charge phí 200k cho phần ăn vặt chúng tôi lỡ mua vào quán. Kèm với đó là những lời nói thô lỗ và vô lí. Giá như bạn nv mở đầu bằng từ “xin lỗi (theo nghĩa excuse me), quy định của quán em là.... các chị vui lòng...” thì chúng tôi đã không có trải nghiệm tệ như vậy. Mặc dù bị nói với lời lẽ thô lỗ nhưng chúng tôi vẫn tuân thủ theo quy định quán: để nv thu phần đồ ăn vặt nhưng chúng tôi sẽ không bao giờ quay lại vì những lời lẽ và thái độ của nhân viên

Quán nằm bên bờ sông, nhìn sang phố cổ Hội An. Mùa covid, có thể thấy rõ bên đường Bạch Đằng, ánh đèn chỗ sáng chỗ tối, bởi có nhiều quán đóng cửa. Đó là một trải nghiệm khác so với Hội An thời hoàng kim. Quán là một trong ít quán sống sót và vẫn mở cửa khi dịch Covid quét qua Hội An. Đồ ăn vẫn rất ổn, tối thứ 7 có nhạc sống. Là lựa chọn tốt để ngồi vào buổi tối.

Quán ngồi thoải mái, có nhạc sống, giá ok, toàn là khách Tây nên rất vui.

Đừng bao giờ đến quán này .. phục vụ rất chậm , đồ ăn thì đắt , thái độ ko tôn trọng khách hàng làm ăn kiểu chộp giựt uống 1 lon coca mà bắt phải thanh toán 3 lon ... chưa gặp nhà hàng nào mà tệ như vậy.

Thấy review tốt nên đưa bạn bè vào ăn thử , giá thì đắt , dịch vụ thì tệ .. đồ ăn cũng ko thấy nhon lắm đành bỏ dở đi ăn quán khác.

Thức uống và đồ ăn rất ngon .Vào buổi chiều từ 4 giờ chiều đã có nhạc sống tại pub tới 11 giờ đêm .

Nơi đây mình thường ghé vào chiều tối, tầm 8h tối trở đi có chơi nhạc và khách rất đông, đa số là khách Tây. Ở đây bán bia đen và đồ ăn Tây rất ngon, mình thường ăn 1 phần hamburger với 1 ly bia đen. Giá hợp lý cho 1 nơi vừa được ăn ngon mà còn được giải trí cuối ngày nữa thì quá tuyệt vời.
