The food at Mr. India is actually very good and full of flavour — that’s the only positive from my visit. Unfortunately, the customer service was extremely disappointing. The person working at the front was very arrogant and rude, with no greeting or basic courtesy shown to customers. Seems like he is either the owner or the manager. Several people tried to ask questions and were either ignored or spoken to without any manners. While I enjoyed the food, the poor service really ruined the overall experience. Sadly, I wouldn’t return because of the customer service.

The food was top notch. Quantity and Quality were both superb. The service was fast and the staff was great with the food suggestions. They even gave a complimentary gulab jamun. Highly recommended.

Environment is good. However service is cold and little lagging. Being an Indian Restaurant, the staff should be more friendly and interactive with customers. Charge is a bit on higher side as VAT 10% gets added along with food. Chicken curry and the sweet in thali is little tasteless and needs improvement. Overall 3* from my side due to location and overall experience.

The place is a little understaffed. They had decent Indian food. However a little unorganised and they messed up our order and got the wrong items and we had to get them changed. They have free WiFi but their card machine didn’t work.

The food is really delicious and well cooked. We ordered special thali, pani puri and chicken tikka. Every and each dish is perfectly cooked and tastes very very good. I travel a lot and I tried almost everywhere indian food but this is The Best.Everything is so fresh and tasty here. The place is also very clean and hygienic. The staff are very polite and friendly especially Mr. Yadav. A very comfortable sitting arrangement and just across from the river. I'll definitely be back again here. The worst food and service I experienced at Indian restaurant in 🇻🇳. The food was really pathetic and overly priced for kind of the food they provided. Bad food is made without pride, by cooks who have no pride, and no love. I guess there might be other Indian restaurants having better food and better services but this one, definitely not. I am going to share the photograph of the cup in which they served the tea. You can imagine yourself the hygienic and service level.

One of the best places I have ever been to in my life outside India for genuine Indian food, loved it, felt right back at home after getting no indian food for a week, was a breath of fresh air, totally recommend it, the guy running it is really humble and genuine.

Lovely butter chicken, very kind service

We were two girls who came late night just before the restaurant was closing. The owner was extremely kind to let us in and he promised us he would feed us even if the restaurant is closed. Such kindness always warms our heart. We ordered Vegetable Dum Biryani, buttermilk and lemon soda. Food was hot and tasty. Thank you for your hospitality ♥️

One of the worst places I've had to eat unfortunately. The food was bare minimum edible, the ambience was not encouraging to eat at all and there is only 1 person taking order and serving. If you are owning a restaurant it is respectful and responsible to give good food to people. It was a very disappointing experience.

Mutton Briyani and Papadum were very tasty, spicy enough - AMAZING! The owner was very friendly, and we had a great time in the restaurant - very calm and relaxing place to be.

When we arrived we got without asking for it a glass of water (which was nice), but they put a beer mat on top, why? Do they have problems with insects or dust. When we left we saw that they had already filled water in about 10 glasses all covered with a beer mats. Strange! The food was absolute substandard, did not taste nicely spiced at all and both our dishes had the same tomato base. The restaurant is not cosy at all, more like a waiting hall. The toilet was not clean. We shall not come back.

Delicious India food and great service. I didn’t take photos because I was too busy eating! We stopped in for an India meal to give us a break from local food. Perfect nann - chewy, flavourful and perfectly cooked! Tomato soup was so good we ordered another. Nice Daal and curry. Service is observant and friendly. 5 stars for sure!

Average food. Mediocre ambience. Gave a warm and sweet yogurt. Didn't even have a courtesy to apologise. Charged 10% tax on top of menu prices (I cudnt find a mention of separate tax in menu). They asked us to pay in cash (which I respectfully denied).

When we arrived at the restaurant we were the only customers. The staff was lying on the booth seats and watching videos on their phones. That’s not a huge deal, but as we ate they still blasted their videos, which didn’t create a very nice atmosphere for us. The waiter wasn’t especially friendly either, didn’t ask us how the food was, or anything like that. That, on top of the way the place was decorated would not make me want to come here again… it’s really plain and you can tell that they just picked one bench and table they liked and put that all over the place… no decorations, no design… it just felt like the owner didn’t care how it looked. Also, I feel like it should’ve said somewhere on the menu, that rice isn’t included with the dishes?? The waiter didn’t tell us that either, so we were pretty perplexed when our dishes came without rice. The food was good though, and they had lots of vegetarian dishes. The worst part for me however was the bathroom. The toilets were insanely dirty, one had splatters all over the toilet seat and lid, probably from leftovers they dumped in there. It looked like the whole area hadn’t been cleaned in the longest time. There was no toilet paper and no towels, just an old dirty soap… Clearly, the owner does not have their customers feeling comfortable and welcome in mind. Definitely won’t come again.

The food was great and unexpected to get the dinner late at night while most of the resturants close by 9.45 - 10 pm, the staff of Mr. India were very welcoming at around 11 pm too. The prices are a bit expensive considering the other places in Hoi an.

Very comfortable booths. Great mno for drinking beer. Peanut masala was great and something we've never had before. Onion bhaji was made like onion rings with a masala sprinkle. Veggie samosas had a nice mild smokey flavor.

Very nice indian food in Hoi An. All dishes were delicious. We ordered the chicken 65 and chicken tikka masala with tandoori roti and jheera rice.

The place is good to have some great indian food after the hectic evening . Worth coming . And the host for us Mr. Yadav was great with greeting and being friendly and giving insights on the hoi an and its nearby places to explore along with great food .

Mr Satinder Yadav, the manager of Mr India is an excellent host. Food quality, customer service is very high quality. Management must feel pride in having staff like Mr Yadav, who is very positive, serves with a smile and provides good food and other informations to the tourists. Appreciate being served so well by Indians outside India.

Worst restaurant ever. The guy who was in charge said it takes 30 minutes for the food to be ready and we said yes also. And he never once came to take the order despite multiple requests. People who’ve come after us, he took order from them and when we asked again he outright ignored us and went away and then there were rats all over the restaurant.

Food was great and quick. Staff are nice and friendly but not amazing English. This resulted in some confusion over my order and them forgetting to take my boyfriends order. This was soon solved. I follow a vegan diet due to dairy allergies, I asked if my curry of choice was vegan friendly or could be they said yes, except when it came it was covered in cottage cheese. After me explaining again that I can’t eat cheese milk or butter and some confusion over cottage cheese being cheese they were happy to make me a new meal which was great. The manager is very friendly and good is great.

Was feeling the need for a nice curry. Read some reviews of this place so gave it a go last night. Ordered waited about 20 mins curries arrived. Garlic nan mega Chicken Vindaloo and chicken tika masala both excellent very flavoursome. We were the only people In initially then a party of 6 arrived. I'm amazed this place isn't busy. Probably as its down a back street and people are like sheep and just go where everyone else goes. Would deffo recommend Mr India

Went here for the reviews but unfortunately although the service was great the food wasn’t. First I have to mention that the waitress and people in the restaurant were super attentive and nice but the food wasn’t, it was lacking flavor. I lived in India and I know how the things should taste and it was very plane and bad. I found the restaurant expensive for the portions they served, even for rice!

How are more people not coming here! They serve great Indian food, the aloo paratha was DELICIOUS. I was getting homesick and this is the place I needed. The atmosphere is so nice and they play Hindi music idk if that a plus or not. But I love the vibe overall.

The food was excellent but the service was slow. We came early (6 pm) and were the only customers so the atmosphere was also quiet and hence the slow service was surprising. We had chicken Tikka masala, butter chicken and palak paneer for main and the onion bahgi and cauliflower starter. The Naan was also very good.

Wanted a break from Vietnamese food and decided to try this place. It was fantastic! We’ve had loads of Indian food in India and around the world and this was as good as it gets. Definitely recommend.

Delicious meal but really messy service. - Food given before drinks. - Missed off drinks and brought us another tables food. - Waiting staff have poor knowledge of menu and struggled with English. Likely contributed to the service mix ups. - Bill was complicated to correct. Staff were very apologetic and the place is well decorated so hopefully this is just teething issues.

Restaurant was open yet no one was there to serve us, we waited and called out for someone in there to service us. No body came and we set there for at least 5min. We eventually walked off. Someone guy however did came to the door yet didn’t bother coming asking us to come in. Oh well. Will take our $$ somewhere better deserving.

Food Quality was really bad. The manchow soup we ordered had bad smell and the raita served with biryani also had foul smell. Ginger chai was good and that's only thing we liked.

Had a quick visit to the place. The stuffed parathas ordered for kids were good but the mango lassi was bad (either dahi or mango or both were bad).

When I say I want Indian food, this is what I mean! We have had so much bad Indian food over the past few years in different countries--bland, insipid, overpriced. But Mr. India was really fantastic! We ordered quite a few small plates and one main course, and everything was delicious and flavorful from beginning to end. We ordered our favorite butter chicken and it was so fragrant and tasty that I was able to remember why I loved it in the first place. We also ordered some dishes that were new to us like the masala peanuts and the panipuri and those were also very beautifully presented and wonderfully spiced. At the end, we had to order two cups of masala tea to wash it all down. The tea was perfect, too: hot, sweet, and spicy. We got the chance to talk briefly with the chef after and found out he's trained in India and then worked in Qatar and Dubai, so he really knows his stuff and he is proud of his good food. I wish I could find Indian food like this where we live. Definitely happy that we stopped here because this meal will be a good memory for us for a long time.

Excellent food! We visited during night. The food was good and very tasty. Just what we needed when we were missing home. Waiting time was high and we have to wait almost an hour for the order. During our dinner we ordered on extra tandoori bread and it took almost half hour during busy hours. I would recommend to visit the place once.

Brilliant food! We visited very close to closing time and everyone was very warm and welcoming. The food was authentically Indian and very tasty. Just what we needed when we were missing home (London and its curry houses!) Would visit again and highly recommend. They can also cater to vegetarian diets and Jain diets by cooking veg and non veg food separately.

베트남 여행 4일차.. 쌀국수도 질리고 숙소 근처에 인도 음식점이 있길래 별 기대 안하고 왔는데 john맛 입니다. 특히 치킨 티카 마살라? 저거 고수 조금 들어있긴한데 향신료 싫어 인간으로서 허용 가능한 정도고요 정말 맛있게 먹었습니다. 별점이 낮은 이유를 모르겠네요. 한국인이라면 좋아할맛 무조건 치킨 티카 마살라를 시키세요 개추입니다. 베트남 물가 치고는 좀 비싸긴해요 하지만 후회는 없습니다

Chúng tôi 6 người đến ăn tối tại nhà hàng vào lúc hơn 9 giờ tối tại hội an. Lúc đó nhà hàng chỉ có duy nhất bàn của chúng tôi ngồi bên trái từ cửa ra vào.. Chúng tôi gọi 1 chicken 1 briany, mutton Brainy, egg buigi, 2 tandori roti, 1 panipuri , 1 chicken suop. Trong đó có 3 người ăn chicken briany và mutton briany. 1 chai nước to. Hoá đơn hơn 900.000₫. “Ở đây không thanh toán thẻ hoặc chuyển khoản”. Cả 3 đã bị nôn mửa, tiêu chảy cấp. 2 người Ấn Độ lúc 2h sáng. Và 1.người Việt Nam lúc 3h sáng. Chúng tôi hoàn toàn không ăn uống bất kỳ thứ gì. Vì chúng tôi là người muslim. Chúng tôi không ăn uống những thực phẩm không Halal. Chúng tôi rất tin tưởng những nhà hàng có người ấn độ là chủ hoặc có nhân viên là người Ấn Độ. Ngày hôm nay chúng tôi đã lỡ rất nhiều kế hoạch với vấn đề sức khỏe của gia đình tôi. Hy vọng nhà hàng nhận được thông tin này. Nên cải thiện về vấn đề thực phẩm.

숙소앞이라 궁금해서 갔는데 너무너무 맛있었어요 난을 바로 구워나와서 시간이 조금 소요되긴하지만 기다릴만한 가치가 있어요 저녁에가서 먹고 지역 이동전에 점심으로 또 먹고왔어요 일하시는 분들 모두 친절하고 밝은 모습이 좋았습니다 아침엔 화덕?이 준비가 덜되서 난을 못먹어서 아쉬웠어요 늦은 오후나 저녁에 가시면 좋을거같아요 저녁에 다~~인도분들만 있음ㅋㅋ 생각보다 양이 많아서 조절잘해야해요 부가세는 별도!
