Vera cucina romana, prezzi onesti,ti fanno sentire a casa. Tutto molto buono,la carbonara era ottima, da 10 e lode, ma l' eccellenza va al tiramisù, mai mangiato così buono. Ritorneremo senz'altro.

Sono stata in questa trattoria per ben due volte durante il mio soggiorno a Da Nang e devo dire che dopo tre settimane di cibo vietnamita, trovare questo posto è stata una manna dal cielo. Stefano, il proprietario, assieme alla moglie hanno aperto questa attività e non appena ti accolgono ti riescono a fare sentire a casa, sembra di fare un salto per qualche ora in Italia. Servizio all’italiana quindi top di gamma, cibo buonissimo. Ho provato le bruschette, i rigatoni all’amatriciana e gli spaghetti con le vongole, si sente che vengono usate materie prime di ottima qualità. Ringrazio di cuore Stefano per avermi fatto sentire coccolata e a casa. Dovete assolutamente venire a mangiare qui se cercate il profumo di casa a Da Nang.

Ci vado spesso da Stefano si mangia sempre bene e di qualità , inoltre Stefano è troppo simpatico e mette a proprio agio tutti con la sua ospitalità calda romana

Ho avuto il piacere di cenare presso la Trattoria da Stefano e devo dire che è stata un’esperienza davvero eccellente. Innanzitutto, faccio i miei complimenti per l’ospitalità, la professionalità e la cordialità: raramente si trova un’accoglienza così attenta e genuina. Per quanto riguarda il cibo, ho iniziato con delle bruschette al pomodoro, davvero buonissime, semplici ma fatte con ingredienti freschi e di qualità. Successivamente ho preso un soufflé di vongole e degli spaghetti alle vongole. Devo essere sincero: sugli spaghetti alle vongole ero inizialmente un po’ scettico, ma mi sono dovuto ricredere completamente. Posso dire senza esitazione che sono stati tra i migliori che abbia mai mangiato fuori dall’Italia: saporiti, equilibrati e cucinati alla perfezione. Sono rimasto davvero soddisfatto della cena, tanto che tornerò sicuramente anche domani sera. Consigliatissimo!

I was craving some authentic Italian food. This time, I only tried the pasta and tiramisù, but both were absolutely delicious. The pasta was fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. And the tiramisù… honestly one of the best I’ve had—light, balanced, and not overly sweet. What made the experience even more special was the owners. They are incredibly friendly, and you can really feel that they cook and run the place with heart and passion. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality you get. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more. 🇮🇹✨

I was craving authentic Italian food and was so glad to discover this beautiful restaurant while walking around Da Nang. I tried the pasta alle vongole, which was incredibly fresh and delicious—reminded me of my time living in Napoli! I also enjoyed the fresh patatine fritte with pecorino, the tiramisù, and, of course, a caffè. Everything was amazing—the tiramisù was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The owners are so friendly and really great people. I’ll definitely be back. Grazie mille! ❤️

Excellent restaurant. Nous y allions pour manger simplement un carpaccio de bœuf . Nous avons pris un carpaccio et des chips fraîches pecorino et poivre. Tellement bon que ça nous a donné envie de goûter la pizza. Un régal.Le vin rouge de la maison est très agréable. L'accueil et le service sont à l'image de tout le reste , que du plaisir !

We had the pizza and lasagne. Both were delicious. I was stuffed but meals had the tiramasu which was homemade and fantastic. Very lovely staff too.

Came here after reading the good reviews. I missed my country's food and Stefano didn't disappoint. It really felt like I was eating in Italy. The carbonara was spot on, delicious 😋 The tiramisu was the best I ever had. Even in Italy I never ate a tiramisu this good. I asked for the recipe but the chef doesn't reveal his secrets 😂 it's fair. Besides the food, the local gives vibes of the classic Italian trattoria. Stefano has great communication and is a pleasure to talk with him. Really a little gem for those wishing to add an Italian touch to their stay in Vietnam. I am coming back for sure.

This is what authenticity looks like, excelente presentation, amazing service, and even better food. From the personal attention of the owner, to the great attention to detail. The only downside is could see its the size of the plates. As a foodie myself I like big portions, good enough to bring some back home, and unfortunately here the portions are kid size, other than that everything else was amazing. Thanks to Stefano the owner who attended us and gave the best attention possible. My only feedback it to make portions bigger and therefore more satisfying since even my 66 year old mother said her plate felt like the amount of food wasn't enough. Dont get me wrong, it taste amazing but if you give me gourmet food with lots of taste but very small portions for the money you spend then its not that worth and your money dosen't go that far. So in any case, I recommend this place for those with small kid appetite and/or those looking to get a taste of Italia without living asia and its small food portions for small people 😋 😉 😀 Ps: not worth paying almost 1 millon for that amount of food, even if its imported directly from Italy.

Had an amazing experience at La Trattoria da Stefano. The quattro formaggi pizza was absolutely delicious — one of the best I’ve had in a long time, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. A special compliment to Stefano as well. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming and truly represents the classic Italian hospitality. We spent a lot of time chatting, and he made the whole experience feel warm and authentic, like being back in Italy. Highly recommended if you’re looking for real Italian food, great atmosphere and genuine people. I’ll definitely come back!

Visited this amazing Italian restaurant while I was in Da Nang, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. Stefano, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The Carbonara was top (and I come from Rome, where Carbonara is from...). Loved it!

Stefano , Ha and his family run authentic Italian establishment was an unexpected delight. A pleasure to experience whilst in the area on several occasions , do not hesitate to find this most delightful gem of Danang.

The waiters talk too much and ask too many personal questions. I don't want to explain where I'm from and tell my life story just to order a freaking meal. The beer comes in small cans about 200ml. Maybe it's written somewhere on the menu but it's not clear when you order. I don't understand where they even found beer cans this small. I haven't seen them anywhere else. The pizza is nothing special. I've had better dollar slices in NYC.

I was disappointed by the quality of the food. I'll try to be constructive in the criticism: - the mozzarella was completely frozen in the caprese salad - the sliced baguette was dry and old - the chicken in orange sauce was not cooked on the same day. It was prepared in advance, and reheated in the sauce, which made it hard and overcooked. + The carpaccio was good quality beef + Eggplant parmesan dish was also quite nice

I usually eat local but me being Italian sometimes you have this supernatural urge to eat either pasta or pizza and let me tell you: da Stefano is THE place for an authentic roman Carbonara! The pasta, sauce, guancale and pecorina, all balanced perfectly and the portion was exactly right sized. Definately a must for pasta afecionados! Buona fortuna Stefano!

Phenomenal food, as a foodie this is one of the best pastas I’ve eaten in a long time, it’s everything you could want from a traditional carbonara, loose, salty, rich. Outstanding.

We spend quite a lot of time in Asia, usually about three months at a time. So after a while we NEED to have some European food. Good Italian food is, in our opinion, one of the hardest foods to find in Asia. This place is run by Italians and food is prepared according to authentic recipes with authentic ingredients. It is therefore no surprise the food tastes amazing. I guess it also speaks volumes that there were quite a few Italian people eating here when we visited. Best Italian food we have ever had in all of Asia. We will certainly come back in the short time we are in Da Nang.

Honestly can’t recommend this place, owners are nice but the food is not very tasty and it is such a surprise for Italian food, seems that’s everything is a bit not with usual generosity of Italian cuisine, like pasta with lack of sauce, and everything else is the same. All is poorly made, small portions like they try to save ingredients. By the way in Da Nang there are several Italian restaurants which provide more generous and tasty food. Nothing bad, just nothing to come back again

The food here is very delicious and suits my taste. The owner is Italian, very enthusiastic and friendly, and his wife is Vietnamese. This is a great place to visit, with a clean and airy space, just a few steps from the beach

Take a closer look to the food pictures, especially pastas, there are literally just boiled macaroni. Kinda plain food, nothing special at all, was expecting better quality from a place with Italian owners who work there. Not gonna come for the second time, both pastas were disappointment, cold cuts platter has missing item ( we're got it after we've asked for it ), no honey, fruits or nuts.

Outstanding, authentic Roman cuisine! Everything feels true to Italy, and the owners are absolutely lovely. This will definitely become one of my regular spots. Grazie!

The host wss very gracious. I had been craving Italian food and gave this restaurant a try. I had a Carpaccio Parmesean for an appetizer, I loved it and for main course, Spaghetti Alla Vongole. It was so yummy. The atmosphere was very Italian.....lots of Italian being spoken and for me it lends authenticity to the restaurant. I say, "manga" and check this place out.

I mean… it’s already our favorite Italian restaurant! I love that it’s a family business. This was our first time going, and the food was delicious. This time we only went for pizza—we were craving a really good Italian pizza. I don’t usually order a four-cheese pizza because there’s often something missing, but I decided to give it a try and WOW—it was surprisingly amazing. There was enough gorgonzola to stand out, but it didn’t overpower the other flavors at all. I’m all about the dough, and I loved it. My husband is all about the sauce, and he loved it too! Writing this review just made me want to go back tonight 😅 Thank you, it feels very homey too!

Owned by a true Italian from Rome and his lovely Vietnamese wife the flavors and recipes of the Pasta were true to Roman cuisine. Real Guanciale and Pecorino for their Amatriciana and Carbonara I dined there twice during my stay in DaNang. I recommend!

Trattoria da Stefano is a wonderful Italian restaurant in Da Nang run by Stefano and his family, and you can truly feel the care they put into it. I’ve been there several times, always coming back for the carbonara: it tastes just like in Italy, rich, authentic, and made with heart. The place is cozy, the atmosphere is warm, and every visit feels welcoming and genuine. Thank you, Stefano and your family, for bringing a real piece of Italy to Da Nang. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Abend mit phänomenalem authentisch, italienischem Essen! Die Pizza war ein Traum und hatte alles, was eine italienische Pizza ausmacht und auch die Carbonara war einfach lecker. Über das Tiramisu brauchen wir gar nicht sprechen…. 🤤 Die Inhaber haben dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohl gefühlt haben und wir sind happy dieses italienische Juwel in Vietnam entdeckt zu haben! 😍

Beautiful authentic Italian restaurant, actually run by an Italian family, proper Italian home cooking, simple decor with little red and white check tablecloths. I have specifically been seeking out Italian restaurants during my month in Vietnam due to my Italian connection (hubbie) and this is my favourite 😍 The pasta was perfetto, the tiramisu - one of the best I've had (and I've tried many) and the warm fresh bread a truly Italian touch. It just recently opened and it was already packed on a Monday evening. The restaurant is run by an Italian family. Everything is as if cooked by your Italian grandma. Very delicious, very cozy and very friendly. Highly recommend!

The newest Italian restaurant in town and definitely our new favourite. When a Roman family starts a restaurant with the Nona in the kitchen, you know it’s going to be great! We ate here earlier this week and were blown away by the menu, the service and of course the food and the wine. No photos unfortunately as everything got devoured immediately.
